• Curtisoo (4/5): Not a 4 star. - We arrived at the hotel it seemed very disappointing from what we are used to the staff behind the reception was very cold and unwelcoming.We went to our room which again the hallways looked like something from a mental institute very white and cold the room was ok again very white nothing special the bed was like a bag of sand and no bin liners in bins but clean so that’s a bonus.The food was just awful the actual restaurant looked like an old people’s home and the food went along with it just awful there were very few labels so you never knew what you were eating and the food was recycled throughout the week really not 4 star food,it really was disgusting to the point by the end of our visit we stuck to bread and cheese.The bar was hit and miss if anyone was on there ,one night we waited ages for someone and gave up there were things on the menu they never had as they said they were end of season and the manager did not do a full order.I was shocked by lack of ice cream or lolly’s available throughout the day considering we were all inclusive I expected these to be available all day .the pools were very small and Uninviting and the pool beds were dirty and seen better days.Evening entertainment was twice and just painful so we went to our room.Towels I got to day 3 and had to go and ask for new ones they said leave them on the floor and they will get changed that never happened even used cups were just left we had to leave a note to have some milk .The positives were it was in a lovely area maybe think about the area and decide on a different hotel as this one is not a 4 star and the worst I have ever stayed in looking at previous reviews management have not changed anything from what other people have said similar so clearly they need to think about management change .
• salsadoll (10/5): Excellent adult only hotel - Great hotel, directly at the sea front. The style of the hotel takes a bit of getting used to, the term "Spartan" comes to mind. Food: excellent choice and good quality at dinner, plenty for vegetarians, too, some of the fish and meat choices are grilled for you there and then. One evening there wer large Gambas on the menu, but unfortunately no little hand wipes were available should one want to eat those Gambas with ones fingers. Drinks at dinner are soft drinks, water and wine (white, rose and red) Tinto de verano and beer, alcoholic and non alcoholic, all of which you help yourself from a machine. My husband said the beer was good, but my friend and myself found the wine rather basic, so we mixed Tinto de verano, red and rose together which proved rather nice We had a junior Suite which was large, had excellent handwash, shower gels and body lotion provided. There is a kettle and a "pod" coffee machine. We received one small bottle of water and a bottle of cava on the first day. A word of warning: on the coffee shelf there are small packets of nuts and a small packet of crisps, each of them costing €6 !!!!! The fridge was stocked with shots, beer and soft drinks all at a price though. Our junior suite had a large balcony which also went round the corner, but lacked sun loungers which I thought would have been ideal given the size of the balcony. Also there was just one arm chair in the suite, so a second one and a little table to go with them would have been nice. (There was ample room for them) The room prices vary according to their location and our friends had a "normal" room on the side of the hotel. Unfortunately there was building work going on behind the hotel and the noise echoed from the houses in the side street. The very friendly receptionist changed our friends' room to a higher floor and further to the front without extra charge. There are also budget rooms on the first floor. These rooms have no balcony and overlook a side street. On some evenings there was live music in the bar, but no indication was given, which days the entertainment was on or who was playing and what kind of music was being played. Maybe the hotel could put out a notice board with such information. The pool at the front of the hotel had sun beds rather than loungers and there was always one available at different times. People did not reserve them first thing in the morning. The pool and jacuzzi behind the hotel was deserted and there were loads of sun loungers ,little side tables and umbrellas. On the whole the hotel was excellent, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location overlooking the promenade (like a mini park) and the sea was ideal for strolls in either direction along the sea front.

Room always clean and had everything you need with a great balcony with a sea few with shops at short walk away, Gabriel on the chill out bar was our favourite! So kind and always happy to chat! Can’t wait to come back
• Victor (10/5): - Overall the experience was good, food was usually great, except Asian night. It was hard to get an iron for the room, and I strongly believe that they gave either only one that they keep moving between rooms, or very few. There was one misleading information on the Expedia website: it says that there is a double bed and a single bed, but when we arrived there they told us that there was no such thing as a double bed. It was not great, as one of the reasons why we chose that hotel was because of the double bed. Expedia should be careful with these informations.
• F5362OZbillh (10/5): Ok buy, by bye, me, how was it fore, for, 4, you, yew.ewe & U - The location is good, but the drop off is at the end of the street, 100yds (thats 92metre - new money) . The walk is worth while as everything about the hotel is more that satisfactory. There are blips, but overall you should enjoy, unless you are a picky eater, more used to ''Just Eats'' delivery fare. The hotel is clean, modern and well staffed with pleasent people. Sun beds are a bit iffy, but who in the world wants to spen all day on a spit. Get out get a life, have a beer, get on a bus. Food is fine, and up to mass catering standards, a difficult one to cover. The salads and coldmeats / cheese are of a good standard, fresh and crisp. Soup is one off but mast days acceptable in taste and teperature. Bowls can be an issue, but one like the buses will be along shortly. Same for ceral bowls in the morning. Meal time wine, water and Beer are unlimited, so it the high sugar level coke and sprite. Go there there to enjoy, not mone like some reviewer's , you will be the better for it
• TameraW97 (8/5): Really pleasant stay! - I spent a week here all inclusive as a solo traveller and I honestly cannot understand all of the negative reviews recently! I’ve had a lovely week and only a few small/minor downsides! The rooms are really clean and spacious with comfortable beds and a good big powerful shower, hair dryer, kettle, fridge and safe if you want to pay for it. Only downside was the noise at the night time for me, the room doors are big heavy fire doors so every time someone shuts their room door they slam quite loud as you can’t really shut them without slamming them shut so that was a little annoying but you get over it! The pool areas are great, plenty of sun loungers and great pool bars with a good drinks and snack selection. You do pay extra for cocktails these aren’t on all inc but it’s only about €3 for them and they are lovely! I loved that they don’t open the pool areas till about 9:30am as this stops people coming down at 6/7am to reserve beds. It takes some of the rush and pressure off. Can’t understand people moaning about paying for beach/pool towels, there are lots of supermarkets close by that sell beach towels for €7-10 just buy one instead of paying €4 a time or bring your own with you. Food again was fine for me. Nothing amazing but you get what you pay for, it is typical all inclusive buffet food. I really enjoyed lunch times they always had nice things. Chips, burgers, fresh cooked fish, onion rings, pizza some days, nachos with toppings, battered fish, chicken breasts, huge fresh salad selection, cold meats and bread etc. Breakfast was good too. Not sure about evening meal as i only ate in once, i chose to venture out every other night. I really liked that bottled water and crisp were all available on the all inclusive at the pool bar too. The staff are really pleasant especially the pool bar staff, really chatty and welcoming! The hotel is in a brilliant location right on the sea front, lots of little souvenir shops and supermarkets on the same road, lovely restaurants close by too. You must try the Indian restaurant next to the hotel called “Indian Taj” it was the best meal i had. Fresh piping hot food, a huge menu and one of the best curry dishes I’ve had, I’ll miss that place. Overall my only niggles/downsides to this hotel were the noise at night and early morning of the doors slamming, night time entertainment isn’t every night seems to be every other night which was a shame and would have liked wine and prosecco on the drinks menu, they didn’t have it at all not even available to pay for, which was a shame as that’s what i like to drink on a holiday.
• F9620QYmichalp (8/5): Great stay with a few small downsides - Hotel Review The hotel was beautiful, we really enjoyed our stay, but there are definitely some things that could be improved: At the reception, it would have been nice if they told us that we would need the card we received for drinks (that way we would have taken one each right away). Charging for towels, the luggage scale and the safe felt a bit unusual. It’s a pity there aren’t a few parking spots. Luckily, there was a parking lot nearby, so it wasn’t a big problem, but it would definitely be a plus if the hotel had some spaces available. The food was good, quite a big selection, but it was a bit inconvenient that the dishes weren’t labeled. Sometimes it wasn’t easy to tell what each meal was, and it’s a shame to put something on your plate that you then don’t eat and it ends up wasted. I think that’s not ideal both for the guests and for the hotel. Our room on the first floor was a bit noisy because of the street – glass was being thrown out all the time and sometimes it was really loud. We also missed having some hooks to hang sweatshirts, for example, and especially a balcony to dry clothes. These are things that could be improved, but overall I would definitely recommend the hotel and I’d be happy to come back again. Overall rating: 8/10
• Michel (10/5): - Emplacement au top, cala millor tres agréable. L'hotel est très agréable, une vue sur mer rêvée, le personnel aux petits soins et très pro. La petit déjeuner est vraiment complet, les autres repas sont de très bonnes qualités. Le SPA est très relaxant. En bref, mon prochain séjour a Majorque sera encore dans cet hôtel sans hésiter.
• Nils (8/5): - Eine wirklich schöne und moderne Unterkunft mit reichlich Auswahl an Essen und einem schönen Poolbereich. Das Spa-Angebot haben wir leider nicht genutzt, weshalb ich dies nicht bewerten kann. Positiv ist ebenfalls die gute Klimaanlage auf den Zimmern sowie die Sauberkeit der Zimmer hervorzuheben. Mir persönlich hat der Ort Cala Millor nicht sonderlich gefallen, da es insgesamt ein doch sehr touristisch geprägter Ort mit kulinarisch eher durchschnittlichen Angeboten ist, wofür das Hotel selbst natürlich nichts kann. Ich würde mir vom Hotel lediglich wünschen, dass sie die Aufzüge besser einstellen lassen, sodass man nicht allzu lange auf diese warten muss.

• taylorlisa567 (8/5): Good location - Just arrived back from 10 days stay the Talayot , great location , clean . We had problems with the air conditioning when we first arrived , maintenance man looked at it and we were told it’s the best it’s going to get , it was hot in the room but we had to use ceiling fan too , it cooled down as week went on so it wasn’t an issue then , but if we had been there July /Aug I think it would of been unbearable in the room. Food was never hot only lukewarm, very repetitive, not labelled well or not at all ! So it was a guessing game !! It you suffer from any food allergies not very good !!! In my opinion thus hotel should be. 3 star . The bedding only got changed on day 8! Which again is not good enough! For a 4 star hotel! Nice touch of a bottle of cava left in room for my husbands birthday. Don’t think we will be returning as it should not be 4 star hotel, I’ve stayed in far nicer 4 star hotels

• 739orangel (10/5): Lovely holiday at the Talayot - We were impressed with the friendly and accommodating staff and cleanliness of the hotel. Very comfortable bed. We had a junior suite and pleased that we did. My husband was given a bottle of cava as it was his birthday while we were there, a lovely gesture. Looking forward to our next visit.
• Miriam (10/5): - Super Ausblick aufs Meer. Sehr ruhig. Zimmer super sauber, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bester Mann an der Bar war Gabriel. :) Das Essen war gut und hatte eine angenehme Auswahl an Speisen. Bei unserer Ankunft stellte sich heraus, dass es nur ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gab, obwohl wir 2 Zimmer reserviert hatten. An der Rezeption kam man uns sehr entgegen und gab uns ein Upgrade auf eine Suite und all inklusive für uns. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

• heathermW5478FD (8/5): Our stay at The Talayot Hotel Mallorca - The hotel itself is lovely. Its in a great position, its right on the sea front, close to bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel was very clean the bedrooms are lovely and a good size. The staff are lovely so friendly and nothing is a bother to them. Gabriel the barman on the 1st floor is amazing, always smiling and works so hard. Unfortunately the food lets it down. Breakfast was good but lunch and dinner wasn't great it didn’t change much over the 10 days we were there and it wasn't labelled very well so guests weren't sure what everything was. We were all inclusive, the drink measures were huge we had to ask them to put less in, cocktails are not included and you had to pay a small supplement. We did enjoy our stay but the food let it down.

• DanniiLB (4/5): Very quiet hotel... - There was 8 of us that had been traveeling since earky hours. Arrived at the hotel around 11.30am. We were told that our All inclusive doesn't start until we get our room keys... absolutely disgusted as we explained that my father was diabetic and we just needed at least a drink. So had to venture out for lunch. Also on the day of your departure All inclusive ends at 12pm. Never have i stayed at a hotel where this happens. Food is OK not a great deal. Safe is chargeable as are pool towels. Being an adults only hotel our ages range between 40-60, we honestly found the hotel to be absolutely boring, any kind of noise we made we got glared at. No entertainment by the pool, or through the day. Don't get me wrong we don't want a party but a darts board or a pool table at least! Definitely dont recommend here if you're with a group of people. Location is lovely, very central for everything. Rooms are also lovely. Definitely not a 4 star and what we paid for it was pricey. Small pools also. The bar shuts at 12am and you have to go up to your room. Spa closed the days we were here. This hotel has so much more potential to improve. Glad we're only staying for 3 nights. Won't be returning here. Come if you want to be judged and glared at for having a good time and laughing and joking. Seems we need to be very quiet by the pool!

• D7935NWlisab (6/5): Needs some improvement - Great location and the hotel was very clean but can say they were the only positives. The hotel definitely needs a freshen up as it’s looks very worn. The towels in the room were very thin and looked and felt like they had been used for a long time and needed replacing . The pool towels that you had to pay to exchange were just as bad and I have never had to pay to exchange in any hotel I have stopped in. The food wasn’t very good at all and breakfast was probably the best meal of the day. Didn’t even bother going for lunch and we ended up going out twice for tea as we couldn’t face another pot luck tea with some of the offerings not labeled to see what it was. The restaurant just didn’t feel welcoming and more like a work canteen and on one occasion we went in there wasn’t a table to fit the three of us on and were told we would have to sit separately to eat. Not what a holiday is about. Definitely not a 4 star. Needs improvement in many areas.
• avrilroffe (2/5): Faulty Towers! - Lovely clean hotel but that is where it ends! We have just returned from 7 nights AI stay. To start off, €28 charged for digital safe, this is the 1st time for years I've had to pay to use the room safe! We were given a pool towel with €10 deposit but told they charge €1 each time we change them. After paying £1200pp for this holiday this is a disgrace. Room was clean, well done to house keeping! But no water in the room. We were told on check in that cocktails were charged additional €2.50 each but how they can warrant charging this for Vodka & tomato juice on AI holiday I don't know? Now to the restaurant, lets say OK if you didn't eat anything cooked! the food was mass cooked canteen food, which the dishes were nearly always out of food, always looking for glasses & teaspoons, milk at breakfast time was always running out, generally rubbish, we ended up eating out, spending a further £200 just to have a decent meal! • elizabethmI3821FR (4/5): Don't bother booking - Room clean and bed comfy, food diabolical, it was the cheapest food available, often unable to identify what it was, not great when all inclusive, the only decent food I had was when we chose to eat out. A couple of times we encountered rude staff, that was restaurant staff and bar staff, although I must praise Gabriel. I have never encountered before on any all inclusive package having to pay rental for pool towels, rental of room safe €4 a day, that is daylight robbery, and I have travelled all around the world. There was no rail at infinity pool to allow access into the pool, nor was there any sign signifying the 3 steps into the pool, bearing in mind that it is an adult only hotel, lots of guests are elderly and infirm, or like myself visually impaired. I brought these concerns to the attention of the Jet2 rep, who shrugged her shoulders and asked what I wanted her to do. On our first day 10th Sept, there was a storm, the lift was out of order until the day we left, forcing us to have to use the poorly lit black stairs with no markings to indicate the edge of the steps, not great, if visually impaired.
• 665pf (4/5): Very poor not what is expected for 4 star hotel. - Not impressed food monotonous and same dishes for 12 nights we were there. Fee to change pool towels of 1 euro each everytime changed. Dropped at bottom on road at 1.30 in the morning when not expecting this. Less than impressed with Jet 2 rep.
• debo506 (2/5): Worst hotel - This is probably the worst hotel we have stayed in, bargain basement the food is awful especially in the evening nothing labelled if you have allergies it’s a nightmare, you have to pay for the safe rooms clean but beds uncomfortable, the pools are tiny and the beds on the front dirty and worn some with holes in, never managed to get there as people queuing from 8.30, if your leaving early no breakfast provided even though you have paid for it, no entertainment absolutely the pits!
• Cupar123 (6/5): Good location but also negatives - Location is perfect. Very chilled out if looking for quiet holiday. Rooms were avarage for 4☆ . I think for what we paid AI for 2 weeks this hotel was expensive . Cleanliness overall was good. Food was very mixed and disappointing, breakfast was best meal. First time we have had to pay daily to change pool towels on AI holiday. Also no british TV channels apart from BBC and Sky news ( this is my personal opinion ) Staff were always very pleasant.I would say this was more 3☆.
• V8456LFsamc (10/5): We loved our stay we had it all hot sunshine, 2 days with thunderstorms and flooding the hotel- the rain was extreme!!! - Food choices - perfect for a smaller hotel, rooms were clean, beds were comfy lots of wardrobe space doors on those could do with bumpers on but that’s so minor ! Always managed to get a sun-bed by the main pool , the chill bar infinity pool beds were always taken but we didn’t want those so not a problem for us.All in all as a party of 6 we had the time we wanted a fantastic time with lots of laughter, sunshine, walks and good food and drinks .Perfect , thank you Talayot Spa Hotel

• lorrainej390 (8/5): Disappointing Holiday - This was my fourth visit to this hotel and whilst I had a good holiday the hotel has unfortunately gone downhill over the years. The positives of this hotel are the location (great for beach/restaurants/shops etc.), the amazing staff (especially Gabriel who kept the bar going) and the fact that there were never any sunbed problems at the pool at the rear of the hotel. My negative comments are based on the fact that this hotel is classed as 4*. The restaurant - constantly having to ask for food items to be refilled, mainly at breakfast, yoghurt, berries, bacon, hashbrowns, condiments etc. Food was not always warm. Snack time had a very poor selection. Evening meals were poor – boring, bland, unimaginative and tasteless. Gluten free options very poor. Cutlery baskets often empty. The bathrooms - soap/shower gel never refilled. Mold in the shower. Grime build up on taps. Poor quality towels that never matched. The hotel - uneven/loose tiles at entrance to hotel were a hazard. Worn paintwork on the balconies. Bar needs more staff, especially when entertainment on. Lifeguard spent more time on his mobile than doing his job. Sunbeds at front pool need replacing/cleaning. Jet2 transfers – the transfers do not go to the hotel entrance, guests are dropped further up the road, if you have mobility issues this is a problem. On our return we walked to the collection point only to find that the mini bus then drove past the hotel doors! I really feel that this hotel can only be classed as a 3* unless there are improvement, it needs a work if it wishes to be classed as 4*. Sad, because this was a brilliant hotel.

A quick walk to Calla Bona too . , .the pool was spotless , food varied and plentiful. Half board was a perfect choice. Lovely staff and rooms ample and clean. Our room has balcony and sea view. Looked at the other hotels whilst here , this one is perfect location . Quiet at night when you need to sleep 😴

• EJA89 (10/5): Beautiful - Absolutely fab adults only hotel in a lovely area of Cala Millor. Hotel was clean & fresh throughout. All inclusive drinks were all branded & of high measures. There was additional 2/3 euro charge for cocktails but these were good proper cocktails & well worth 3 euros! Food - never had any complaints from a group of 6 of us. Considering its a small restaurant, there was still plenty of choice but not too much like some hotels, but id say the perfect amount. Stunning location with an infinity pool over looking the sea. The other pool over looks the street. Both have bars. All staff were very friendly. Highly recommend and cant wait to go back! We booked a private transfer & it was a very easy & quick 1 hour.

Some Bartenders were kind of cold. The drinks from AI package were not that good. Cocktails costs 2.50-3.50 euro extra, but the quality is not that good. F example Piña colada cocktail was not drinkable. Overall was a nice stay. Spa costs 25 euro for 2 persons for 1:30h . Entertainment with live music was a little bit lame.

• shanecF9398EV (10/5): Amazing week - After seeing Various negative reviews before we arrived we were a lilltle worried BUT our stay has been so good we stopped from the 5th to 12th August in room 218 we have come straight home and requested the same room for next July the food was super even as a fussy eater I could always find plenty of options and unlike orther all inclusive holidays we never ate out at all. The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none all glass and windows cleaned every day the whole staff team were amazing 👏 The pools were great there were plenty of sun loungers and the location of the hotel is excellent we walked into cala bona nightly for the entertainment which was plentiful. I cant recomend this hotel enough it really doesn't deserve some of the negative comments in our opinion and we have cancelled next year's holiday to Rhodes to go back to the talyot Well done to the whole team and thankyou for an amazing holiday 👏

• Dream62867409507 (10/5): Would go back again :) - Arrived after 2am on a Friday night/Saturday morning after hellish delays and poor transfer organisation (on the companies part). The staff on reception were welcoming and professional. A fresh fruit water was available by the front desk which was a nice touch. Initial thoughts as I walked in was that the hotel both looked and smelt clean. Room was spacious and had everything I needed, including a safe (for an extra €4 a night) and a mini fridge. Balcony overlooked the pool and restaurant however the sound proofing prevented excessive noise when the door/window was fully closed. Aircon worked amazingly and the room came with a ceiling fan which helped in the 30+ degree Celsius heat. As a non-drinker I only had soft drinks with my All Inclusive but know there was also beer and wine on tap at meal times. Both pools are large enough to enjoy and the sunbathing/lounger areas are comfortable. Spa facilities were wonderful and the staff in the spa were very professional! The prices aren’t bad either. Read somewhere that they charge for spa towels but I used the spa twice in my week stay and wasn’t charged for this. The spa facilities themselves however do come at an extra cost. Again, the spa facilities seemed very clean. Food for breakfast and lunch was great but dinner was hit and miss for someone as picky as myself but this is personal preference. Plenty of local food places and shops for picky eaters though. View from the infinity pool is spectacular. The beach is quite literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel entrance and sports some of the clearest waters i’ve seen! If you get the chance to, I’d recommend visiting the Drach caves in Porto de Cristo!

All inclusive includes all branded spirits, cocktails additional 2/3 euros each but didn’t mind paying that. Very friendly/helpful staff. Clean hotel, we would all return to this hotel and have recommended it to family too! Location is right on the beach front. 1 hr transfer time in private taxi.
• CSTAL (2/5): Jet2 should not be selling this hotel - Jet2 should not be selling the Talayot hotel in Calla Millor, Majorca, it’s worse than all the negative reviews you read, totally awful. Sorry if you have booked this hotel and reading this review, but the food is so bad we ate out every night, if you have a food allergy good luck as the food labelling was hopeless, entertainment non existent an average singer twice a week, you have to sit on sun loungers if you want to be at the bar, usually only one person serving drinks at the bar, air conditioning not working in bar and dining room (canteen), rooms have weird “privacy glass” for bathrooms and toilets, main pool area is depressing with broken wobbly sun beds and dirty looking pool, the front infinity pool area is very nice but only has “24!!”sun beds yes 24 (unbelievable plenty of space for more) and you have to queue until 9.30 in the morning to try and get one - why 9.30, add that to delayed flights both ways, and more than a 2 hour transfer, dreadful. The only positives were the location and it was spotlessly clean, the staff were very hard working and very helpful but hopelessly over worked by the management. It could be a fantastic hotel, the staff work really hard and try, but I have to blame the management who seem to have ignored all the negative reviews and offer a terrible product, every negative point on the reviews still exist and haven’t been addressed. Genuinely bad, I would ask for a refund but guess Jet2 don’t care just like the management of the hotel who don’t care, thank goodness to Stanley's restaurant, just up the road, who provided us with excellent meals - PLEASE AVOID AND LOOK ELSEWHERE.
• Kim (10/5): - Food options were limited but good quality. Beds were comfortable however room layout including bathroom layout where you brush your teeth in the bedroom a bit different.

There's not even water or juice in the room. - I had the all-inclusive option – my check-in was at 3 a.m. And that's where the problem began – after a 10-hour journey, we didn't even receive bottled water in the room. When I asked about a snack, they said there weren't any. As for water, pour yourself a glass from the bulk bottle in the gym. When I asked if there was water and juice in the room (note that it was all-inclusive), they said no. Nothing was available. All the shops were closed. So we went to bed hungry and very thirsty. You have to pay extra for the safe. Just like you have to pay extra for every drink, like a Mojito, at the hotel bar with the all-inclusive option! What a joke! The live music that was supposed to be playing until 11 p.m. ended at 10:20 p.m. The rooms were nice, clean, and modern. Overall, I don't recommend it!
• Imajica (6/5): Could be better - The hotel was clean and well maintained by staff. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom did not have much privacy with frosted glass in the middle but clear above and below. Plenty of wardrobe space and shelving for clothes. Food: Breakfast was good with lots of choice and plates were cleared by staff efficiently. Lunch and dinner could be a bit repetitive but you could always find something Chill bar and pool. This is where the comfortable sunbeds are. It overlooks the sea and the road. The sunbed area doesn't open until 9.30 and there are always people waiting. A special mention to Gabriel, one of the barmen. However there is often a long wait to be served. On more than one occasion this bar was unattended for a while and so no-one was able to get a drink. People were questioning whether this was to cut All inclusive costs. Bottled coke was not on AI and my friend had to pay 2.50 each time she wanted a drink. The pool to the rear of the hotel was big with lots of sunbeds and a "jacuzzi" We could not understand why when lots of guests were using this area, the pool bar wasn't open? After a few guests complained to reception that having to use the lift or stairs up to the next floor and bar was not acceptable, the bar was opened. Is this another cost cutting exercise? Just a little bit of tweaking and reception staff that were consistent with their answers to questions would make this hotel a more attractive place to stay.
• Sherpa51943160017 (6/5): Noisy bank holiday weekend - The positives are that it’s adult only, rooms are good sized, clean, comfortable, with a large balcony. It is also good value. The negatives are that there is building work close by and the noise spoils your holiday. There are residential properties on 3 sides of the hotel so outlook is not great. The shuttle buses cannot drop you or pick you up from the entrance of the property. The reception staff do not provide a good service and the bars are left unattended so you can wait some time to be served. There are no menus on the bars, prices vary and a large draft coke was €5. The food is average. Kettle did not work and so on reporting it, reception staff provided me with instructions on how to use a kettle !! the next day after no replacement had been provided and no update I had to ask the staff to come to my room to prove it was not working, So i ended up up only having this facility for 1 out of 3 days. As other people have said they stop your keycard working before the check out time and then provide another card which does not work. Then they call your room to remind you to check out which is what you have been trying to do!! I have stayed here previously but would never return.

• paulcZ1164MM (4/5): Not a premium all inclusive - To start this review I have to say the premium all inclusive is a scam. In all the years we’re going on holidays all inclusive this is the first time we have come across a hotel that doesn’t have cocktails as part of your all inclusive. You can pay an extra €2.50 per drink on top of your all inclusive to get them . Which we thought was a joke. I haven’t done a review before but this hotel made me feel a little cheated to be honest so I feel I need to let others know. If you arrive on an early flight the all inclusive doesn’t start until you get your room which is around 2pm which was a new one on us also. You can use the hotel facilities to be fair while you wait for your room. But depending on who checks you in won’t be very clear with this. When you do get your room key you need it with every meal time and every drink purchase. And if you order a drink not part of your all inclusive it’s charged to the room and taken from your card given on check in. The hotel is clean and modern on the inside the pools are clean and well cleaned from what we saw so I can’t complain about that. We had the penthouse suite which was really nice and very spacious which is why we came to this hotel. But the jacuzzi on the rooftop isn’t great and you can’t see the view when sitting in It Which I know sounds snobby but it was a shame. Also the jacuzzi only stays on for around 10 minutes a time a press of a button does restart it but this brings me to my main point. It just feels like the hotel is cutting corners everywhere like they don’t want you to have as many drinks on the all inclusive or sit in a jacuzzi for longer than 10 minutes or the way a barman goes missing for 20 mins while you wait for drink then 15 minutes to get served because there’s so many people waiting at the bar. It just feels like we were cheated a little and it’s not a cheap hotel to stay in. For that reason we wouldn’t return
• Q9484JWjackies (6/5): Pool bar - Currently staying here with a group of friends. The hotel is super clean with friendly staff. Food is ok a bit repetitive. Major negative.. When the sun doesn't shine (which has been a few days) the pool bar does not open regardless of how many people there are. Therefore guests have to go up to the chill out bar on the first floor which is open from morning till night regardless of the weather or the amount of people. Due to this lack of foresight by the management. I would not recommend this hotel.

• 937claree (8/5): Great hotel - We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and I am shocked to see some of the negative comments on here as we never experienced anything like that. The rooms were spotless, we were on the 6th floor with a sea view and the room was perfect. We found that after breakfast we would wait for a bed by the infinity pool. The pool opens at 9.30 and some of us queued at 9, but that wasn’t an issue and it was worth it to overlook the sea. The beds would usually fill up quite quickly, but we never saw anyone leave their towels and not use the beds, they were occupied all the time. We were half board as when booking it highlighted that cocktails and some drinks were extra with all inclusive and as we are not big lunch eaters on holiday we thought that would be more economical. Drinks were reasonably priced and although the mini fridge in the room wasn’t great you could get ice from the bar to chill your own drinks down. Food was good, freshly cooked and a reasonable selection of meat, fish, salad and pasta etc. My only criticism would be that it’s not clearly labelled which was frustrating as I’m a vegetarian so was never completely sure what was in some dishes. All in all it was a lovely stay and a hotel we would go back to again.
• Hayley (8/5): Nice hotel. - We enjoyed our all inclusive stay here. The drinks were pretty good and the bar staff were amazing, just had to pay a supplement for cocktails but it was only about €2.50. The food was average all inclusive buffet, always plenty of choice but we personally ate lunch out every day and think it would get samey for longer than a few days. Big beds and clean rooms. Only negatives are you have to pay €1 every time to swap your beach towel and the towels they gave us were very old, bleach stains and frayed edges. There is no hair conditioner which you’d generally expect in a 4* spa hotel. There is no parking at the hotel, but on street parking around. Some times we did have to park more than 5 minute walk away.
• K8969INstaceyh (4/5): Go somewhere better, - Read me! The pictures online look great! The “reviews” we read also read great- so we booked and wow! What a shock we had! So, we arrived on Monday and apparently our room wasn’t ready but lady at reception said we could upgrade to a “better” room that is available now - that price she told us would be an extra 50€ PER NIGHT. We refused this and said we’d wait for our room to be ready, we didn’t have to wait long, a whole 4 clicks on her computer and our room was magically ready- fancy that eh? I’d dare say the room WAS in fact ready but she wanted us to pay for the upgrade of the room. Room was ok, it was clean but we expected better for a 4* hotel. The shower glass you keep reading regarding its lack of privacy is exactly that. The pools are as big as a postage stamp and aren’t deep at all, one pool closes and that bar is kept open, while the other pool stays open but that bar closes so you have to go from the outside pool area downstairs to the 1st floor to get a drink and go back through the hotel again to reach the other pool. Not a very well thought out idea at all, obviously someone needs to either get a manager on job or have their 1 brain cell kick in and sharpish. Food- good god the food! Never have I ever seen my husbands face drop in sheer disappointment except from on the day that I arrived in his life but on Monday, it dropped more. The first thing you come to is the Minions in order to be able to eat and have enough energy to survive the hotel and manage to get back home where you feel safe in your own home. You have to show your room card at EVERY bar, every time you get a drink, food etc. There’s salad, sweet stuff and then there’s the severe lack of options of decent food. The meat “selection” and I use that term very loosly isn’t really an option but if you’re unlucky enough to have already booked this hotel, you’ll find out for yourself, if not, great! Find a decent one like Cala Miller Garden Spa (we’ve been and that was fantastic). The staff are nice, no complaints. The drinks… are you ready?.. let’s go.. we came all inc which you’d think IS all inc but no, you and we are both wrong. Upon ordering a Pina Colada I got asked if I was all inc, I said yes, I was then given the drinks menu and got told I had to pay, I said I’m all inc so doesn’t that mean with drinks? Bar man said no, only on certain drinks. The drinks menu with two prices, are NOT included in the all inclusive and you have to pay so be very careful as this is NOT stated previously. When you’re ordering a beer, the bar staff automatically go get bottles which are to pay for so, again, be careful. Back to the food, it’s basically the same every day and the “snack bar” is absolutely diabolical, I don’t even have words to describe that- burger (same for dinner), hot dog (same for dinner), chips (same for dinner), small slices of pizza you’d serve your toddler, salad. Entertainment on a night- NONE. Go up road, (come out of the hotel, turn left, follow the music, sit down, you’ll have a banging night.) We’ve had to go out a few times for dinner/tea as the food selection was that poor and I don’t expect to pay the amount what we paid AND have to pay to go out to eat after we’ve paid all inc. the meat selection that husband had, not all of it was cooked through so he left it and not just once neither. Beds are nice, cleaners absolutely fantastic, The fridge doesn’t work correctly and is warm so you can’t get drinks from shop (hotel certainly don’t provide water) Sunbeds are atrocious, loads of folk putting towels on them and no one sits there all day and stuff doesn’t take towels off.

• MrB0874 (8/5): - Thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Talayot, fantastic location, all staff friendly and helpful, rooms spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Lots of food options to choose from on a daily basis, also lots of sun loungers in the main pool area, you don’t need to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sun bed.! Only criticisms I have are you have to pay extra for use of the Spa facilities which is only made clear on arrival, also you need to queue for about an hour for a lounger if you fancy a day in the chill out zone. Cocktails are not included in the all inclusive but you are charged a reduced rate, occasionally the price was different from the day before for some reason. Overall I would recommend staying here, Cala Millor is a stunning resort and the Talayot is situated just a short, scenic walk from Cala Bona.

A lovely hotel situated in a prime location, the spot is perfect for venturing out on an evening and having many local bars which serve good food and drinks. Easy and flat roads also. Our rooms were cleaned every single day and could not have been more perfect. Everywhere you looked it was spotless, cleaned everywhere everyday all the time. Absolute perfection. Rooms, we originally got placed in room 205,however we felt as though this was too close to the kitchen and not a lot of privacy and asked to move into a different room (which couldn’t have been any less of a problem) and we were moved into 606 which was a lot better in terms of privacy. The rooms themselves were lovely and extremely clean and had everything we needed. Hairdryer is strong also so with thick hair it was an added bonus ! Staff, the staff there could not have been any more welcoming and kind, i find it hard to believe the staff were rude from other comments and reviews? They couldn’t have been any nicer to all staying at the hotel. Thank you! Gym, the gym had a good amount of equipment to get bits done in there, my partner who trains heavier struggled (as to be expected) but good to get a quick session in before breakfast! Food, the food situation was good but a bit funny? We found the food to be quite poorly labelled, my partner has a peanut allergy so this made things a bit awkward for him but he always found something he liked! , I’ll be honest I struggled to find things to eat on an evening, breakfast was flawless and had lots of different options, dinner felt like a bit of a struggle most nights. Sunbeds, can be a bit hectic on a morning as people queue to grab the beds facing the beach (as in my opinion we’re a lot comfier ), however , the other pool also had great facilities so it doesn’t make a difference really where you are. They’re are signs about reserving beds , however some people left towels for over 3/4hrs and didn’t return? So I do think after an 1hr or so the towels should be removed just so others are able to also use the beds if they so wish. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here, staff couldn’t have been nicer , in a great location and a lovely clean hotel. Thank you!
• Again_and_again_10 (10/5): Child free and blissful - Went end of April/early May for 2 weeks, this time for our wedding anniversary, stayed previously Oct 24 for my birthday. Once again we had a lovely time though we were disappointed not to get room 605 again but instead were in 504 which isn't as nice. I rebooked yesterday and we return on 4th Oct for a further 2 weeks. We have been reading some of the other reviews and are somewhat surprised by some of the comments. We have never found any of the staff to be rude or unhelpful, they bend over backwards to make your stay as nice as possible. I think maybe these complaints come from guests who treat staff "more like servants" than people. Whilst we were there we heard one couple moaning about anything and everything and they were quite rude to the staff. A smile and saying hello goes a long way! We agree about the lift situation, it started playing up during our first week. I had to stand crossed-legged a couple of times waiting as I can't use the stairs but these things happen. We agree signage could be better, we had a few people asking us about where things were. It would be useful if the rooms had some info in them such as the bar tariff (including regular prices and supplement prices, where applicable for all inclusive), dining room opening times, bar opening times, spa opening times etc. As regards food, on the whole it is very good though could be hotter at times and a couple of times the fried potatoes were not fully cooked. Breakfast is always good, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, yoghurts, bacon/sausages etc, omelettes cooked to order, fruit juices and a brilliant selection of milk (even lactose free). Lunches are good, we very rarely bother with the snacks so cannot really comment. Only managed to get a sunbed a couple of times this trip. People were sticking their towels out then disappearing, in Oct, staff were clearing them away after a while to give others the opportunity. We have never noticed a lack of umbrellas with 1 to every 2 sunbeds. The entertainment during our stay was good and bar service excellent with a smile. Room cleanliness very good though first couple of days had to leave a note to replace the Nescafe, got extra coat-hangers when requested. Took a shower mat this time so that resolved the problem of slippery shower floor but there were still no grab rails to hold on to. Also booked a private transfer this time so I didn't have to struggle with my walking stick and luggage. The stars of the show were Gabriel and Gregorio again and Nicholas whom we met for the first time. See you in October

Was slightly disappointed by the lack of guidance pre-booking around what is actually included with “all-inclusive” but besides that we had a lovely time. While the main pool is great, we mostly enjoyed our time in the “chill out zone” with the comfy loungers and infinity pool, very picturesque with the view of the sea. Rooms were clean and beds were amazingly comfortable! Most importantly I would like to wish my thanks to Fahid (chill out bar staff), he was very hospitable - always nice to have a friendly face on holiday. Thankyou Talayot, it would a great stay, my only advice would be the make it clearer with your board options.
• 475CarolineUK (8/5): Lovely stay - I will try and provide as balanced review as possible as for us there were only a couple of things that keep the hotel from being a 5/5 Service: the staff are all phenomenal interesting as I read some people felt they favored Spanish speakers more than- we did not find this at anytime - Giulia on reception was friendly informative and professional so interested in us what we needed etc - we in fact were upgraded on check in and I’m sure it’s just because we engaged and were interested in her and the area. Katherine (not sure of spelling) also helped us on day before checking out arranging for a ‘breakfast bag’ as we weren’t able to get breakfast on check out day. All in all everyone who dealt with us on reception was great and helpful. Gabriel on the upstairs bar - I reckon a piece of the furniture having worked there so long we had laughs and jokes every time he served us Cleanliness: my goodness the maintenance team and cleaners work hard - everything was spotless even cleaning subbed if birds had been there in the night - always cleaned our room early and efficiently no trouble asking for extra towels Pool: We didn’t queue for the infinity pool and sunbeds - it opens at 9.30am and only a few beds - our experience on the main pool was whilst some people still put out towels there were plenty of beds and umbrellas and we saw maintenance adding more, the main pool was not deep but was a fabulous perfect temp - many an hour spent stood in it at the side reading my book lol - jacuzzi was also perfect especially in the afternoon. Lifeguard on duty Bars: ocean club bar opens 10am main pool opens 11am all the bar staff were friendly and service fab. Cocktails are a subsidy if on all inclusive most spirits and wine and beer included in AI. Ice creams are extra and only crisps as snacks which is a little disappointing. Food: all food served in the buffet restaurant including snacks Breakfast a great selection of hot and cold options and made to order omelette were delicious. Coffee and fruit juices were self service Lunch for me the best part were the salad selections everyday including many fish options - yes there’s the chips hamburgers hot dogs and pizzas on offer but the grilled meat and fish each day was cooked well and tasty. Snacks - disappointing but of salad and the chips and burgers with a bit of pizza Dinner- the usual desserts selections inc ice cream tubs - grills had meat and fish each day and again the salads were fab - the main hot courses were sometimes a strange concoction and after a couple of days it did start to feel a little repetitive. The hot food was as usual abroad warm rather than hot. This I think is the main area which could be improved slightly to make this a 5/5 - don’t get me wrong everything I ate was delicious it was more about variety of choice as it felt a bit uninspiring. The staff again very helpful and kept tables clean quickly - all beer and wine self serve at the front of the restaurant All in all a 4.5/5 for me and my husband a lovely side room view 601 and. Fantastic stay in Majorca - we would stay again - can I say your staff all of them phenomenal thanks for making our stay a great week we will come back !
• I3408ZRlisab (10/5): Lovely Hotel and Bar staff - l have one day left at this lovely hotel I was Greeted by Haffid at the bar and then Alvaro it really is like home from home the check in was very quick and got my key to go to the room its a nice room with comfy beds and had a lovely side view room on the 4th floor the food was even better than last year plenty to choose from. came down in the evening for a drink and chatted with Gabriel who was still struggling for glasses... the lads at the bar work so hard there amazing and really look after you . this is my 8th year .the only disadvantage was being dropped off at the top of the road and having to pull heavy cases down a bumpy road .after a 2am start the older people really struggled but that's not the hotel at fault its the travel company . Thank you for a lovely stay the staff deserve so much praise I love Alvaro Haffid and Gabrie there so kindl..hope to see you next year .lisa
• ashevery74 (8/5): Overall good just a few things let it down - The hotel is situated in a brilliant position next to the beach but the problem is when you get dropped off it’s 2 streets down so you have to walk to the hotel 🫤. When we arrived we were told that our room wasn’t ready but if we paid 90 euros we could have another room that was ready so seemed bit of a con straight away. The hotel itself was very clean although they allow dogs and we came back with flea bites so not sure if they check the pets. The staff are o.k but a few of the barmen could be very off but no problems. I read about people saying food wasn’t very good but we couldn’t see why. The food was brilliant with loads of different things everyday so no complaints. The pool area was good but seemed to be a lack of sun loungers for the space available and an early start guaranteed you a good spot but people were queuing a good hour before the upstairs pool opened. The rooms are good and the beds are amazing but not sure about the open plan shower in the room. Overall had a brilliant time and many thanks
• 164lornar (8/5): Sadly infinity pool not open till 09.30 hrs - 2 females who just wanted to lie in the sun ! Hotel location really central with pedestrian promenade in front of hotel so quiet area and nice to walk along in th evenings. Our room was very clean with super comfy beds and powerful walk in shower. Food was so much better than expected with good variety of lovely salads / fresh seafood and baked pastries daily. We never at the same thing twice and we’re very impressed. Drinks were branded but very limited what was included on the all inclusive programme The aim of our holiday was to lie in the sun and relax so we were extremely disappointed the infinity pool did not open until 09.30 hrs.This was not advertised on the Jet 2 website and we would have booked somewhere else if this had been advertised on web site. Why did it not open till 09.30? We would happily return only if the infinity pool is open from 07.00hrs daily.
• Lucyylou7 (6/5): More of a 3-star feeling!! - Stayed here for 10 days with family and unfortunately wouldn’t stay here again or recommend anyone to. Can’t complain about the cleanliness, the rooms, the gym or the staff but pretty much everything else was a disappointment for us. We all booked all inclusive plus (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks) and then quickly found out it wasn’t really all inclusive plus! a lot of drinks you had to pay a supplement for (all cocktails, beer (except Amstel or Cruzcampo), different brands of spirits and for ice creams/lollies these were all chargeable too. The lolly I did ask for on more than one day they didn’t have either. The upstairs bar all snacks/light meals were chargeable - except ready salted Lays crisps. The restaurant or rather canteen, had the same options day in day out for the lunch and ‘snack’ time and there wasn’t a lot of choice at all. If all you like bread, fruit, rice, chips and crisps you will be fine. We didn’t eat once on an evening. Trying to get a sunbed, omg ridiculous. People were out putting towels down before 7am and then just leaving them and not returning for hours. 2 sunbeds we watched were empty all day!! There are signs around the pool saying towels will be removed after 30 mins but no staff did this. There was so much more space for more sunbeds too, considering how many rooms the hotel has it just wasn’t enough for all guests. The hotel should really consider buying some more to add around the lower pool. The upstairs pool bar and area had more comfier beds, around 24 I think. This area opens at 9:30 and people were queuing from before 8:30 for these. It would open, pick your bed, leave your towel then people would leave for breakfast / something else etc. We came to Cala Millor 3 years ago and stayed at Protur Playa and that was just amazing. It felt luxurious, you never failed to get a sunbed, the snacks and lunch options were so nice. You were waited on, not self serve. Glass of cava on arrival, rooms huge with fresh bottles of water in your room each day. And that was £300 cheaper than here for the same duration and time of year.

• amylglover (10/5): Loved every minute - Just home after an amazing 4 day stay in Calla Millor. The hotel was fabulous we could not fault anything. Rooms were clean and spacious, pool areas very well maintained and no problems getting sun loungers. The dining area was also clean and loved sitting out on the terrace over looking 1 on the pools. The food was delicious, salad so fresh. Lots of drinks included in the all-inclusive with cocktails available paying a small supplement towards them but all made fresh. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had a late night flight and were unable to keep our room, but we were given towels and access to the spa showers, so we could still enjoy our last day around the pool. Overall, it was a great hotel, location, and holiday. Will definitely be returning

It’s in a fantastic setting, our room is beautifully clean and well maintained by the maids, the food is great with plenty of choice and not bland at all like someone else has said recently. We have not struggled at all and really have been spoiled for choice. The only negative I would highlight, and this is more to Jet2 than the hotel, is that you get dropped off at the top of the street with your cases and the coach won’t come down the street. Jet2 could look at alternative transport such as smaller vehicles as there were only 20 people on our transfer. Anyone with mobility problems might struggle to get down the street with their luggage. However that aside we are having a great holiday and I would definitely recommend this hotel
• blackandtanlabs (10/5): Absolutely excellent! 5 stars for me! - I loved my stay at this hotel, room lovely and spacious even though I was a solo traveller, thought I would be tucked away in a small room, not so!!, bed very comfortable and I had a side sea view. Room cleaned every day, wifi excellent. TV only showed BBC News but I did not go away to watch the tele! Dining room experience very good, loved the food and there was plenty of variety. Tables were cleared very quickly and I love that the staff were very smart all wearing white shirts and ties. There was always room and never had to wait for a table. Entertainment in the evenings very limited but did not bother me. Cannot comment on the spa and gym as I did not use them. The only downside that I would comment on is that the bar at the rear pool was not open during my stay and so it was a bit inconvenient to go to the upstairs bar to get a drink (not that I'm lazy but carrying hot coffee could have been hazardous) . Without exception the staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. The location was very good at the slightly quieter end of the resort, easy to walk in either direction along the promenade. Lots of typical shops to mooch around and lots of bars and restaurants in the area. Just one other point, the coach did not actually stop at the hotel but at the top of the road, not a problem for me but maybe something for the less able and mobile to consider. Would I stay again? Most definitely!!

• laurapJ2694HX (6/5): Could be great but….. - Lovely beachfront location with lots going on along the promenade, however quite a distance from Palma. It’s so lovely to not have an entertainment rep constantly bugging you to join in with something. It’s great for peace and quiet (most of the time - when the bar staff don’t put the music up to max volume) Unfortunately that is where the positives stop. We’re in the middle of our stay and can’t get past the niggles… 1. Bathrooms - bloody weird. Open plan with minimal privacy, with the shower only partially privacy covered. As someone travelling with my mum for a girly trip this is going to take some navigating. 2. Turn the music down at the pool. I love background music but it’s not an 18-30s club vibe 3. Put more umbrellas around the pool. There isn’t enough for 1:2. We were told to take it from people - thanks but I don’t really want to start an argument over umbrellas. Just put more out and save the drama 4. Day 5 of having chilli, nachos, burgers and hot dogs served for lunch was just beyond a joke. It was like the chef batch cooked too much and we were being served it continuously until it was finished. 5. Any guests that were Spanish seemed to get the red carpet treatment. Want a table, let me create one for you. Want to have a party in the pool at 8pm, no problem. Whereas the rest of us couldn’t even get a smile or hello. 6. The charging of things while all inclusive, such as changing towels, snacks such as ice creams, and cocktails. While they come at a concession price it’s still not something that should be happening. I over heard someone say, “it’s the hotels way of squeezing as much money out of guests as possible” and that’s exactly how it feels. 7. The public areas were clean and well looked after, but the rooms were a different matter. It seemed just to be a basic daily clean of the shower/toilet and bed making. The mirror was constantly dirty, along with all the surfaces. We’re not messy or unclean so it shouldn’t have taken much to give the surfaces a wipe down 8. The hotel is a walk from the coach drop off point. Why a minibus couldn’t get down the road is a different matter, however the staff could be waiting at the drop off point to transport luggage for guests. There were several luggage trolleys in reception gathering dust. Surely this would a better use for them instead of their current ornamental use. Especially as the majority of guests are older and have mobility issues It’s such a shame that these “niggles” seem to be mentioned time and again by guests and not being resolved. This hotel could be the perfect relaxing getaway but the above just lets the whole experience down.
• Explorer18763974409 (6/5): Disappointed - Upon a arrival the hotel seemed peaceful perfect location checked in given room 502 all exited to start the perfect holiday things changed unpacked we noticed a strange smell of sewage thinking nothing serious but as a matter of minutes the smell became stronger we have never complained but this time we made the decision we could not stay in this room we went to reception explained a member of staff said and i quote I’ll come with you to the room strange I thought did he not believe us but never mind he joined us in the lift followed us to the room admitted the room did smell offered maintenance to come to room and put bleach down the toilet we were not happy so he went to speak to manager after a few long minutes waiting he phoned to say we were given a different room so we went to the next room not sure what to expect but it was better than the last room so we packed and moved to next room unpacked AGAIN hopefully this will be the start of the holiday. Went down to pool area plenty of sunbeds pool bar staff very helpful peaceful location now it was time to shower and change for the food greeted by a member of staff it was something I’ve never witnessed people walking around with plates no one had any idea where the food actually was it was back to front the way it was set up over all the food was very disappointing the restaurant was clean but food was basically not to everyone’s expectations definitely not mine staff in this hotel are what makes the hotel bearable they take their time to talk to you never once did we see any management to speak to drinks were as you get in any all inclusive holiday we paid for all all inclusive but unfortunately we ate at most of the holiday would I return definitely not sorry this is my opinion
• Discover37262796808 (6/5): Disappointed with the food,rooms are not really 4 Star,great location though! - On arrival we were given room 502,we entered the room and both noticed the smell of sewage,hoping this would go away by opening the window but,after unpacking the smell was so bad I reported this to reception,the guy on reception was very helpful,after he realised the smell was bad and we then packed up and were given an alternative room.The room layouts are very strange,the sink is in the main room and the shower soaked the floor when used,there was a heavily stained chair and another one with a hole in,one of the bed sheets were stained but,we decided to just enjoy the holiday as I never feel comfortable complaining. The food is very bland and the restaurant has a very unusual layout but,the staff were all lovely,very well presented and so helpful.Location was perfect ,entertainment very poor but the many bars and restaurant in the area are excellent for a night out so I would give the hotel a miss,overall,definitely not 4 Star,would be ideal as a self catering hotel,eat out,drink out,and you will definitely enjoy your holiday!

Highly recommend this hotel , we will definitely stay there again
• pgosling (8/5): 13th Wedding Anniversary with Friends - A short break away for our wedding anniversary in June with friends. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The food selection was a bit limited and the food at snack time was poor. The quality of the breakfast, lunch and dinner was good and all the food was very tasty, but a bit repetitive, which is what I would expect from an all inclusive hotel. Drinks were good, with Smirnoff and Absolute vodka included in the all inclusive. Some cocktails were included in the all inclusive too, other were chargeable at a cheaper supplement cost. Ice cream pots were available, with branded ice cream again available at a small cost of 2 or 3 euros each. The staff were friendly and fairly helpful. The pool areas were well kept and clean, with usually plenty of loungers available - except at the front near the infinity pool. These opened at 1000, and there was a queue to grab the limited number each morning. We were disappointed on arrival to ask for a sea view upgrade to be told none were available. I had emailed ahead of arrival to be told that we could only do this on the day. Our friends had also emailed and had upgraded without issue. The biggest issue we found that we have not encountered elsewhere was on check out day. We had a 2220 flight, but had to check out at 1200. We kept the room until 1600 (at a small extra cost), but even though we had a slightly later check out time - the all inclusive stopped at 1200, this is not normal for other hotels we stayed at before. So after 1200 we had to purchase our food and drinks. The location is beautiful, with the sea view rooms having a great view over the Cala Millor beach and the Mediterranean Sea. There is a great Indian restaurant a few buildings down and also a beautiful Beach Club just up the road in Cala Bona. We would go back to this hotel if the price was right.

• Again_and_again_10 (8/5): Quiet, Child-free & Blissful! - This was our first foreign holiday since March 2020 when Covid cut it short. It took us all this time to find the courage to get on a plane again. The hotel was spotless, room spacious, nice balcony overlooking the mountains & 1 of the 2 pools. There are also sea view rooms. Large walk-in shower, decent hanging space in wardrobe, aircon, tea/coffee making facilities & TV. The staff were welcoming & efficient & special praise goes to Gregorio in the restaurant & Gabriel in the Chill-Out Bar who "went the extra mile". There was plenty of choice at mealtimes although occasionally some of the food could have been hotter. The Chill-Out Bar had live entertainment 4 evenings a week & the singers were surprisingly good, comfortable chairs as well as bar stools. Outside the bar is a large sun terrace overlooking the sea with plenty of sunbeds/parasols & a small infinity pool. The pool at the rear of the hotel is much larger & has even more sunbeds, its' own bar & toilets. It is a short walk to the promenade, bars, restaurants etc. The nearest beach is further. There were a few negatives. No toilets in reception (you had to go to the Chill-Out Bar on the first floor which is not ideal when checking-in after a long transfer from the airport). No toilets in the restaurant (once again Chill-Out Bar although they're both on the same floor). No grabrail in the shower & the floor was very slippery when wet, would recommend taking a shower mat. Would recommend booking private transfers as coaches are not allowed down the side streets. It is around 300 metres from the drop-off/pick-up point (Jet2 brochure doesn't mention this) & if like me you require a walking stick, it is difficult with suitcase & hand luggage as well, especially as there are trees in the middle of the pavement. However, this quiet, adult only hotel is a lovely place to stay & we have already re-booked. We return at the end of April, for another 2 weeks, to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
• garethsI7921XD (6/5): Good clean hotel - Visited this hotel for 4 days whilst on a trip to Cala Millor as part of my business reviews on the local hotels in the area. Staff are very friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I booked all inclusive but some drinks are not included including some cocktails. The food was not overly impressive with not a good variety to choose from for an all inclusive option. I spoke to 5 couples on my stay who have been visiting the hotel for over 10 years, they mentioned that things had changed over the years as they all used to stay either bed & breakfast or half board, now the options are half board or all inclusive and no longer caters for regular returning customers who usually opt for bed and breakfast. I cannot understand why the hotel does not keep the bed and breakfast option in place for guests who prefer to have bed and breakfast as it’s no revenue lost to the hotel as they serve breakfast in the morning to everyone, regardless of whether they book bed and breakfast, half board or all inclusive, everyone gets a breakfast? Apart from the above it’s a good hotel to visit but if you are looking for a self catering or bed and breakfast option then there are alternative good hotels along the strip which cater for these.

The staff are excellent and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to see the chefs actually cooking the food all well cooked and tasty with plenty of choice . We upgraded to a Junior suite which was lovely, the bedroom was spacious and clean as is all areas of the hotel. It’s a nice area of the town too so if we were to visit again I wouldn’t go all inclusive to this hotel.

Es gibt eine schöne lange Promenade und der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer (eingeschränkter Meeresblick) war wunderbar. Das Personal im Restaurant und in der Bar ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben auch den Spa Bereich besucht und sind zufrieden geblieben. Es kostet 25 eur für 2 Personen. Es ist ein bisschen schade, dass alles extra kostet: Kofferwaage 1 Eur, Safe 4 Eur/Tag. Was man beachten soll: die Dusche ist durchsichtig und die Toilette ist nur mit einer dünnen Wand vom Zimmer getrennt.
• I3408ZRlisab (10/5): wonderful bar staff and hotel - I have just come home today from this lovely hotel I go every year but have been twice as my friend has never been to Spain and it was her birthday ..we had a lovely time we had Gabriel entertaining us the first night then Hafid and Alvaro .the staff are amazing they work so hard .nothing is ever any trouble we had an amazing time we always have a lovely time here the last 6 times Haffid told me I was home as they know how much I love it here Alvaro has always looked after me even when I've been alone I've always felt safe. lovely hotel with Anazing staff and food can't wait to see you all next year when I bring mum again lisa . • amanda138a (10/5): A great experience all round. - We stayed at the Talayot from the 30th September 2024 to the 7th of October 2024, and had an incredible experience, we stayed in a junior suite and the room was incredible, we had a stunning view of the sunset over the mountains from our balcony, which we could also view from the bath in our room. The reception staff were efficient and explained things well they were very knowledgeable and happy to organise taxi's or recommend somewhere to go. The Italian girl who greeted us was excellent at her job we'd had a rocky start at the airport and she helped smooth things where the tour company left us flagging. Nothing was to much trouble, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, Enrique in the restaurant deserves a special mention, he was on the ball and had our plates cleared quickly and was quick to help when we needed it. He also realised I like extra napkins and would bring me extras without the need to ask. I hope he enjoyed his days off they were well deserved, he never seemed to stop, nice to see such a good work ethic in someone so young. The suite was kept tidy and we had the option to not have the room cleaned everyday if we preferred, every night our pj's were folded and left by our pillow ready for us to retire. The spa! Sigh I miss the spa the most, their hydrotherapy pools were so good, and my husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed using it. We also had a couples massage, unfortunately we didn't catch the girls names, but they were very professional and made us feel very relaxed and chilled. If you can go for it. There was a good selection of food at every meal (we were fully inclusive) there was breakfast for every taste, I particularly enjoyed the fresh made omelet every morning, but the quality of the fresh produce was excellent. The desserts weren't as amazing, they did taste a little artificial and the ice-cream left a lot to be desired, but the freshly grilled meats and fish, the buffet selection and salad meant we didn't go without. The pool area and bar were clean, staffing was a bit hit and miss here and sometimes you had to wait for someone to come out to serve you as they were also working in other sections of the hotel, the pump for the fizzy drinks wasn't working while we were there so if we wanted a Pepsi it wasn't possible unless the chill out bar was open, then you had to go in and up a floor which was a pain. There was an older gentleman serving in the chill out bar, he was so sweet and when the bar was very busy and he was on his own he did his best to be fair and not keep people waiting to be served, which when he was doing fancy coffee's cocktails and basic bar drinks all at the same time was a feat to watch indeed. We really enjoyed our stay at Talayot it is in a very good location, very central and if you have mobility issues is in a very flat area, the walkways are clean. There are plenty of restaurants and bars where you can eat or drink with plenty of choice from an Indian to a Thai right on the doorstep.

• Pascal (8/5): Bel établissement mais bémol pour la nourriture - Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L’hôtel est spacieux confortable, propre élégant, il a des soirées animés trois fois par semaine. Bémol pour la nourriture, la viande ou le poisson en cuisson minute sont bien trop cuit. Les plats cuisinés manque de goût. Vraiment dommage pour un hôtel de ce standing. En revanche le petit déjeuner est très bon et les boissons sont comprises dans la demi pension (vins, bière,soda et eau. Je signale également que pour les arrivées tardives malgré la demi pension le repas froid n’était pas prévu malgré un appel et un mail. Nous avons juste eu deux tranches de pain de mie avec un bout de jambon et un bout de fromage et deux pommes. Pas de boisson d’accueil dans la chambre.
• Gracia (8/5): - Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel avec une belle vue sur la mer ! Par contre le buffet est limité niveau choix.
• Darren (10/5): Faultless Hotel - Can not fault this hotel for our stay, everything is super clean, staff are friendly and helpful, food and drink is plentiful if you chose all inclusive. The location is great, no outside noise can be heard the rooms, Great 7 day stay
