Close to the city center but secluded enough where it's not super loud or touristy - Loved the small outdoor balcony to take your morning coffee - Host was very accommodating & hospitable - options for tea and coffee available with your room There was a lack of ventilation causing the room to feel humid. Since the bathroom is attached and considering we are hanging clothes to dry, it became very very humid. Even though we ran the AC and opened the window for fresh air, that felt uncomfortable when coming home every day.

The location was very good, it was very accessible to the riviera. The room was very clean. The owner Franco was amazing, couldn't have asked for a better host :)

The room was cosy, had all the amenities required for our stay and the host went above and beyond to provide extra toiletries/recommendations for local sights and restaurants. Nothing to fault.

• Tiago (6/5): Pleasant - It was clean and really close to the city center. The staff was really responsive and nice. The surroundings of the property are a bit disappointing, it is an old part of town with very old buildings which don't look properly maintained. The price seems too high for what it offers.

• Ellie (9/5): Lovely stay in Guest House Kala to explore Split - The property was in a great location in proximity to the old town and everything needed. The room also had all amenities that we could have wanted including smart TV, hairdryer, coffee etc. The host’s family was really friendly and accommodating which we appreciated, this made us feel at home. Nothing. The only thing was the aircon needed some adjusting a few times as wasn’t always responsive to the remote.

The apartment is located right next to the historical center of Split and there are nice cafeterias along the street that takes you to the center that serve amazing breakfast. The room was very clean and our host Frano assisted us with all our needs! He's definitely gone out of his way to assist us in a couple of instances and he's been very kind. Definitely recommended. Nothing

Hosts were always available via WhatsApp to communicate and help with self check-in. Comfortable bed and the room was clean and it was really great value. Highly recommend!

• Kim (10/5): Can highly recommend staying at Guesthouse Kala! Would 100% recommend it :) - Beautiful and clean room with lots of provided goods such as coffee, tea and even fresh fruit from the garden. We've had an own little fridge. The light in the bathroom was great. We got welcomed by the owner itself and it was the perfect balance between privacy and care. The apartment is very central but still in a calm area. Maybe an extra bin for the main room but apart from that everything was perfect!
