• GreyHavens1 (10/5): Welcoming, lovely stay at Michaeleen's Manor B&B - I had a wonderful stay at Michaeleen's Manor B&B. Gerry and Margaret were wonderful hosts and made me feel right at home! The breakfasts were delicious and the room was very comfortable. I loved learning about the history of the town and its connection with The Quiet Man film. I would HIGHLY recommend!

• Mickey (10/5): Would love to come back for a longer stay!! - Very cutely decorated, very clean! The owners were delightful!! Fantastic Irish breakfast. We wish it had been closer to Cong’s little village so we could have walked the distance instead of driving to get there.

Great breakfast, entertaining banter from Gerry and they were good enough to get us into the Quiet Man museum for free. We enjoyed our 4 night stay with then in Cong. There wasn’t a thing we didn’t like.

• Helena (8/5): Exceptional breakfast in a quiet setting. - The breakfast was exceptional. Made all the more so by the lovely, welcoming and charming proprietors who made the breakfasts. Checking in at the facility across the street was odd. It was an unexpected hurdle after a long drive. Being given that information in advance would have been nice. The contrast between the person at check in and the lovely couple who made breakfast the next morning was like night and day.

• Michael (10/5): Michaeleen's is fresh, fanciful and full of Irish charm. - The accommodations were like staying in a country manor. The cleanliness of the entire property was impressive and the host, Jerry was dynamic and welcoming. The Irish breakfast did not disappoint as it was served piping hot and delicious. The theme around the "Quiet Man" movie was an added charm. I didn't like that we had to leave and couldn't spend another night!

• Janice (10/5): If you love "The Quiet Man" ............. - A lovely clean and comfortable BB with excellent staff made our stay very enjoyable. If you like the film "The Quiet Man" then this is the place for you with its many memorabilia include lots of photographs from the film. Can't say we didn't like anything although guests should be aware that the location, is about a 20 minute walk into the Village, "just a stretch of the legs" One of the routes to the village is via the grounds of Ashford Castle. We found this to be a lovely walk with stunning views of the castle , which is a hotel, Lough Coribb and the River. Put another way, you would be unlikely to walk around all of the grounds and see the views if you were not staying at Michealeens Manor

• Andreas (9/5): - Das B&B ist sehr nett gelegen. Wir hatten gute Zimmer. Am besten sind die Zimmer im ersten Stock. Jeden Tag werden die Zimmer gesäubert (wie in einem Hotel). Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben voller Stolz von ihrer Stadt Cong erzählt. Aber das ist ja auch das charmante an einer Reise mehr von den Menschen und der Gegend zu erfahren. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Der Parkplatz war direkt vor dem Haus.

• Anne (9/5): Excellent place to stay, clean and professionally managed - The location was exceptional since it was walking distance to the Ashford castle and town. It's well maintained with good landscaping, professional labeling, and a well described breakfast service. The owners also own the campground across the road and it was very beneficial to have access to their laundry facilities. The breakfast was delicious and talking with the owners was an added bonus. Our room was comfortable and spacious enough for our needs. The only thing we would have needed was a fan for the window or a way to cool the room. We would have preferred a bigger sized bed as a larger sized married couple, but the size of bed seemed to be standard (smaller) in all the places we stayed in Scotland and Ireland.

• Gregg (8/5): Lovely place to stay. - Beautiful building in the countryside. Good sized room. Clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast in nice dining room. Cong is such a pretty village, also beautiful loughs nearby. Real orange juice for an otherwise excellent breakfast would have been good. The "Quiet Man" theme was slightly overwhelming! Just a bit far to walk to Cong -- about 20 mins. with rain usually not far away!

It was cooler outside than it was inside. It would've been helpful to have a fan in the room to help with the airflow. If our stay were any time but summer, this would've been a nice place to stay.

Todo estaba limpisimo, desayuno incluido (pequeño buffette y desayuno irlandes), la habitación y el baño muy grande. (155 euros la noche una triple). Personal muy amable. Alojamiento muy recomendable. Algo alejado del pueblo, unos 15 minutos andando.

The B&,B was less than 1 mile from town. Every question or request was answered. The staff could not have been more helpful and hospitable. The manor itself must be seen and enjoyed. The room was perfect clean comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and varied from full Irish to fruit and yogurt, delicious coffee and lovely conversation with the proprietor Gerry. We enjoyed the Mayo portion of our trip and know we will be back again to stay at Michaleen's.Everyone should stay here. Everything was great not one complaint from the discerning New Yorkers
