- Iris (7/5): - Sehr nettes Personal, für ein Frühstück wird alles kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt (Tee, Kaffee, Milch, Toast, Marmeladen) Es war leider sehr laut, da das Zimmer im 1. Stock direkt über einer Kneipe liegt (täglich bis 24 Uhr, am Wochenende bis 2 Uhr).

Il quartiere è carinissimo è pieno di bei locali e bella gente, vicinissime anche le terme. Molto sicuro per una ragazza da sola. Ti danno gratis anche l'asciugamano. Il receptionist spagnolo è stato fantastico, mi ha spiegato tutto nel dettaglio e col sorriso, senza tralasciare nulla. La camera era molto ampia e confortevole quindi tornerei. Purtroppo il bagno aveva un odore sgradevole di pesce. E la cucina non era molto pulita, andrebbe pulita di più o meglio.

- Consuela (6/5): - The staff was very kind and helpful with check in and check out. Also good recommendations. The hostel is very clean and right next to the metro station. The neighbourhood is nice, quiet and there is a ALDI supermarkt 3 minutes walking. I felt safe. The room had a sink and mirror and you get lockers with a padlock. The whole hostel is spotless and is cleaned fast and thoroughly by the kind guy from Colombia. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. I could barely sleep. Same for the pillows. Better quality would have made for a better stay. The beds dont have curtains, be mindful of that. The showers are clean, but you constantly have to press the button every 30 seconds for water.

Lots of bars / restaurants / supermarkets around, public transportation at the door or Köln Hbf 2 km away by a sunny walk :) 1 toilet and 2 showers on floor 1 not enough sometimes, but still doable.

- Uwe (9/5): Ich komme gern wieder. - Der Weltempfänger liegt in zentraler Lage im Kölner Westen. Die Möglichkeit der Nutzung des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs ist unmittelbar gegeben, da die nächste Station nur wenige Meter von der Haustür entfernt ist. Das Bett war sehr weich und bequem. Mir ist nichts Negatives aufgefallen.
- Paulina (7/5): - Miło, że można częstować się chlebem tostowym, dżemem, serkiem kanapkowym, owocami itp. Całkiem dobry dojazd komunikacją. Wygodne łóżko. Szafeczki w pokoju na kłódkę. Kłódkę dostałam przy zameldowaniu, ale użyłam swojej, bo tamta była za duża... Prysznic w takiej formie jest nie do przyjęcia. Może dla mężczyzn i kobiet z krótkimi włosami to nie ma znaczenia. Aby leciała woda, trzeba było cały czas wciskać przycisk (?). Myjąc się jedną ręką cały czas trzymałam przycisk, a drugą się myłam. Miałam tego jednego wieczora umyć moje długie i gęste włosy. Nie wyobrażam sobie tego zrobić trzymając cały czas jedną ręką przycisk. Już nie wspominając o tym, że ciśnienie wody nie było mocne. Przeszukując internet znalazłam informację, iż jest to ekologiczny wynalazek. Nie wiem co jest ekologicznego w spędzeniu dwa razy więcej czasu pod prysznicem chcąc się normalnie umyć. Nawet nie da rady opłukać dwóch rąk jednocześnie. Inne kobiety w pokoju też miały kłopot z użytkowaniem tego cuda techniki. Brak windy, a hostel na piętrach. Trzeba dźwigać bagaże. Pod hostelem jest jakiś bar i wieczorem/w nocy było głośno. Ogólnie przestrzeni przydałby się remont, ale bez przesady. Jest czysto.

- Ioanna Artemis (7/5): It was nice overall but I definitely missed some things - I liked that there was a big kitchen room where you would meet and hang with new people. Stuff was friendly. There was a short happy hour in the bar downstairs. There were lockers provided and a towel. The shower was tiny (maybe 1 m2) and not so cosy - one had to press a button every 7-8 seconds so as there is water running, there was only a towel heating machine but nothing else to put your stuff or washing stuff etc. + only one toilet for so many people on the floor? :/

The hostel is small, with a comfortable room, clean bed linen, and properly functioning plumbing. There’s a pub nearby, and although I checked in late and the street was full of young people, the noise from outside was barely noticeable in the room. Nothing to add. No issues.

The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful . He gave quite useful guidance. They upgraded me free of cost and i enjoyed my 2 nights to fullest . no elevator available being an old building. I was at 3rd floor but those on 1st floor may be disrurbed due to music at bar downstsirs .Rest all ok !

Highly recommended for anyone lo - I traveled to Cologne to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Cologne Central Mosque, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I stayed at a nearby hostel, which was very convenient and made everything easier. The area around the accommodation is filled with halal food options, making it very friendly for halal travelers. Although it takes a bit of walking to reach the station, the atmosphere and overall experience of this place are absolutely special.

- Martina (7/5): Alles da, was man braucht, problemlos und freundlich - Online check-in war problemlos, die Lage direkt an der U-Bahn sehr praktisch. Es war sauber und alles da, was ich brauchte. Die Matratze war gut. Ein leichter Geruch im Bad war etwas störend, aber nicht nach Moder, sondern eher nach Plastik oder einem anderen Material. das Mobiliar war etwas älter, aber trotzdem ok und ausreichend.

There's a nice bar in the first floor of the building and a lot of other options for drink, food (mostly oriental restaurants) and coffees. Thin walls so you can hear what's going on on the other rooms next to you, but that's an hostel so I assume it's acceptable.
