- Bahareh Dehestani (6/5): - The location! The staff were very caring and supportive. There is a cool coffee shop and bakery right near the hostel. When I entered the room, the room was messy and the same time there were some sands on he floor and the staff swept the floor when they were showing the rooms and talking about everything. I expected more because of the pictures on the Booking Website. There were some tables and chairs on the ground floor, however very messy and a lot of stuff on them! My roommates were very talkative. The beds were really clean.
- Jaesun (10/5): 재방문의사 무조건 100프로인 호스텔 - 도미토리 방 깔끔하고 침대도 넓고 쾌적함.
가격대비 매우 훌륭함.

- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - This is not a tourist backpackers hostel by the way, more like a boarding hostel housing overseas guests who some look depressingly stuck here, n some I would question their mental state, and some seem unaware that it is time to move on. The land lady was lovely to me and accommodating, I heard guests speak disrespectfully towards her. The man that could be her husband makes unkind slid remarks to the land lady and her son when guests walk past. This place seems unbelievably negative and incredibly toxic. It gets worse. The bathroom is divided in half by a 3/4 tiled wall, someone is sleeping on the other side of that divided space. It all seems so very cruel, I felt sick about. No wonder I was dry retching in the bathroom that night, I thought it was only because of the strong acidic oder inside the bathroom noticeable at night when you close the door. I brushed my teeth with the bathroom door open. Be warned too, guests may approach your bed cubicle very late at night for reasons I did not stick around to find out. See above.
- Sarah (1/5): Bad -
- Harry (8/5): Very good - The cabin you get is quite large compared to most hostels. You also get a separate lockable cabinet for valuables. Towel provided and shower was very nice (tempreture and pressure). Staff didn't speak a lot but were friendly and helpful when you needed something.
It's also walking distance to the marina and bars/restaurants. Quilt had some ominous orange stain on it... I just didn't use it as I was very warm in the room, and I'm sure staff would've replaced it if I'd raised the issue.
Dog barking and making a lot of noise at around 2am, waking most people up. I saw another review saying they'd had the same issue, so I think this is likely a nightly occurrence that could be addressed.
No major issues though - for how affordable it is I can't complain.
- Lucy (7/5): Good -
- Dennis (7/5): Family operated guest house in good location. - Location and beds. The bathroom. Too small.
- Ismail (8/5): Very good -
- Aris (9/5): Small, Quiet, and Comfy Place in Vung Tau - The staff are very friendly and the beds pretty big. Also the AC is doing an amazing job :) The bathrooms could've been kept up a bit more - just nitpicking, though.
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sanguk (10/5): Exceptional - This place is, without a doubt, the best value-for-money hostel in Vung Tau. However, there was one inconvenience this time. A long-term guest with an American accent kept leaving the door open, saying there was a smell. If you open the door while the air conditioner is on, electricity consumption skyrockets, and it doesn’t cool properly. But this guy didn’t consider other guests—he kept turning off the air conditioner and leaving the door open.
In the middle of the day, when everyone was suffering from the heat, we couldn’t stand it anymore, so we closed the door and turned on the AC. But he insisted on his way and opened the door again. Eventually, we had to call the manager, who moved him to another room. After he left, we traced the source of the smell—turns out, it was coming from his own spot.
In the end, he didn’t realize his own body odor and kept insisting on leaving the door open. His way of talking was quite rough, he only thought about himself, and his mental state seemed a bit questionable.
Aside from him, this hostel had friendly staff and a lovely dog, making it the best place to stay.
- Maja (10/5): Exceptional - The atmosphere was lovely! The owners was so nice and always smiling :) I am traveling solo and I have many dietetic restrictions so it was amazing that they let me use the kitchen in the hostel. Shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. Around you can find several shops The smell could be better

Location was right between both beaches and near the cheaper places to eat Unfortunately the bed I was given hadn't been made from the previous guest. The second bed I was given had been made but the sheets had not been changed as there was hair and sand all over it. The blanket also didn't seem to have been washed for a while

- Arjen (4/5): Good for one night not really a chill backpackers place - Lady who checked us in was very nice and polite. Very cheap and good location, close to the beach and many restaurants but that unfortunately ends here. You get your money’s worth thats for sure! My first bad experience at a hostel unfortunately🫠 it started with the people who actually own the hostel and live here having a very scary sounding argument with throwing things around (and maybe punches too) downstairs so we were scared to leave since it was the only way to the outside. That was only for a couple of minutes and later stopped, though their loud tv was playing until 10-11pm which wasn’t the best. Theres also an individual gambling on a laptop who was probably the culprit since he looked and acted scary and aggressive so just a heads up for solo travelers. My towel was dirty and very old and worn out and all the sheets and blankets had quite a bit of holes and stains. It was also obvious that nothing really was wiped since there were crumbs and dust next to the bed and weird sticky stuff on my ladder. Bathroom was very dirty and always wet, with the sink, toilet and shower being in the same room so always busy since its obviously shared with other dorm. They also barged in at 8.30 and left both dorm door and terrace door open while cleaning the terrace and sweeping the floors. And did the same at 9am to mop. I’ve stayed in many many hostels and hotels and never once in my life experienced this. The check out is at 12, surely this can be done at any other time? There are quite a few vietnamese people here in dorms who are most probably staying longer term and have no manners and common decency. I understand this isn’t necessarily a fault of the hostel but some rules should have been enforced. Maybe reminder about not being selfish prick could be a start. One girl was watching things out loud on the highest volume which resulted in a guy in our dorm telling her off. She told him to fu#k off so he went downstairs to complain which just ended up with one of the owners I guess telling her something in Vietnamese and that was it. Obviously normal occurrence here.
- Arund1 (10/5): Value for money - Super clean and comfortable. The host family is very nice and helpful. Hot water from the kitchen for your coffee etc, when you just want to sit in the lobby.
Walking distance to the front beach. Plenty of good eating options all around.
- Thanh (9/5): Superb - Nice place, nice people. They treat me as family ❤
- Shylla (5/5): Passable -
