Guest Reviews
- Lee (10/5): Great location - We had a lovely few nights away at here. The property is in a great location just a 10 minute walk from the beach and high street where there’s lots of lovely shops and places to eat.
- Peter (10/5): Comfortable and quiet - Lovely quiet house with parking a few minutes from beach. Easy to drive or walk into town. Made an excellent base for exploring this part of the world.
- Susan (9/5): Superb - Bungalow was ideal for the 3 of us . Easy assess for our 89 year old mum who struggles with mobility .She had the on suite which was ideal for her . we COULD GET THE CAR UP TO THE DOOR SO SHE COULD GET IN EASILY . The replies from booking people as could we go in early due to time we travelled was given quickly and when we couldn't find it we were told exactly were to go . Wasn't the easiest of places to find as the sign for the court wasn't visible from the road when coming in from the left . We were told that sat nav or google maps might not get you there direct but maybe just giving details as it is just of roundabout near crossing past the old laundry turn of might help.
- Rachael (9/5): A perfect place to stay for walks at the local seasides - Nicely decorated, fully equipped, great for our dog, coffee machine, good location, very clean, comfy beds, plenty of space, good restaurants and pubs in the village, lovely village, good shops, local Co-Op, easy parking Only thing I didn't like was the huge cobwebs in the sky light above the toilet in the en-suite bathroom - I was paranoid that a spider was going to fall down on me!
- Emma (10/5): Fabulous stay and lovely home. - Great and surprisingly spacious bungalow in a good position. All mod cons including a coffee machine and capsules! The beds were quite hard and pillows not v comfy.
- Michael (9/5): Beautiful house - Beautiful house, very well equipped To far from sea front
- Susan (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent, able to walk into town centre. Parking was excellent Garden furniture could have been better, ie quality of seats etc and space for sitting four adults on patio.
- Karl (10/5): Very injoyable stay, lovely house and well payed out for 6 people. - Good location to where we wanted to visit. Lovely area with lots to do and see. Nothing
- Zoe (4/5): Disappointing - Location was perfect for us as it was within 1 mile from site On arrival it hadn't been cleaned following last visitors! Still dirty, beds unmade, dirty towels. I Called the out of hours line and awaited a call back. The management company managed to find us alternate accommodation for that night and they would get it cleaned the next day and we can then check back in to Haven House. I'm glad I was able to reach someone out of hours and I'm glad It was resolved quickly. However still not what you expect, or want after a full day on site in the cold and rain.
- Anonymous (4/5): cobwebs everywhere especially in the main bathroom en suite. - location was good the property was dirty, I took pictures & for the money was a total rip off especially £108 for it to be cleaned afterwards. it was probably cleaner when we left.
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Great property for families, well laid out and good facilities. About a 12 minute walk to the beach and the town centre which is very nice to wander around in. Nothing.
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional - Property is very well presented, good size and quiet. The location code for the property, sends you down to an alley way beside the house, and Google maps doesn't recognise the road name. Maybe change the location code so it finds the driveway not the bungalow.
- Hines (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): We spent a delightful two days. Much to see around there. - Location was very good. Property had all facilities and was well stocked. It was new and well presented. Master bedroom was spacious and had large dressing area and shower. It was a short walk to town and to beach. Open plan floors were wood and were perfect for two dogs! TV was big and had good picture. TV had a good selection of channels including Netflix. Also had CD player. Had enclosed garden good for dogs and children. Large parking spaces in front. The third bedroom only had enough space for a double bed so was good for child but not for adult or a couple, Netflix on a Saturday evening was very slow and essentially unwatchable due to slow streaming. Lastly, house was VERY hard to find as postcode too broad an area on Google and using postcode did not lead us to property. When we used the street address we still went to wrong house, and only found it when we asked a neighbour for directions! A map would help greatly!
- Sue (10/5): Very comfortable - Lovely clean house . Very comfortable with everything you could need. The 3rd bedroom is very small but fine for short stays . All beds comfy. Easy walk to town.
