Good breakfast with good cafe in a nice room well decorated and a nice terrace. The bar is a good place as well. Room was large and bathroom as well, confortable bed all clean. I am sorry to say that but the hotel cheat us 3 times, first with the taxes, when we pay the price of the room. Second time when we paid the final bill for the meals and massages we have the taxi waiting for us so we didn't check the total amount, I paid it and when I checked the bills they have charged us more money. And also with the 10% discount in the meals, at the end it was only in 1 of the restaurants not on all of them, there are 3 and a bar with meals, and they didn't do the discount directly when I asked for the discount they say it was too late because the bill was made and give us 2 coffees as complementary. Our room was an old one, nothing extra more than a bed and basically decoration expensive for the room and place, we booked for the family room but it was a normal room it were not place for a 3rt bed. So we wander if it was the normal room or the one we booked, we don't know for sure.

Loved the pool and all. Breakfast , seems like in few hotels we stayed in, nothing to die for but was enough to eat for breakfast. Coffee shop on grounds and a lot of restaurants if you like something else, all weee good! highly recommend! garden grounds beautiful! Spa.. outdated and could be improved to match the hotel. Hooks for towels in the bathroom.. nowhere to hang towels (hand and after shower). Water was hot and hot only ...

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The pool area was a real highlight — a great place to relax and cool off. On top of that, the location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again! It would be better if for breakfast will be more European dishes

- ScottHamill (8/5): Nice heritage hotel with great - The hotel is beautiful and has great gardens and a nice pool. Breakfast was a buffet with a decent variety of food. The hotel is located outside the chaos of the old town and is also on the direct road to the airport. Took just 15 to 20 mins from the airport. TIP order an Uber to and from the airport. The cost is good and it's easy. Otherwise for other journeys, you'll generally find the locals aren't too keen to take your uber fare and you might pay a lot more for a taxi / tuk tuk around town. There wasn't really much service for food and drink around the pool area. It was quite difficult to find staff sometimes. The menu prices exclude taxes so things cost more than you think.

We tried the palak, and sangri ki sabji in vegetarian section, and it was so fresh and amazing to eat. So fullfilling and heart like everything else. Would definitely come here again, maybe to try their laal mass as i came during navratre. Shaam lal and Devender ji were brilliant with the service and behaviour. Their recommendations with the food, helped as well. Thank you!

- jérôme (10/5): Merci 🙏🏻 - Tout: les espaces extérieurs, l’accueil, le service, les restaurants… Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avons eu la surprise de voir qu’il y avait un événement dans les jardins de l’hôtel, une expo-vente sur la mode, c’était très sympa et j’y ai acheté ma première kurta. Il y a 4 restaurants et c’est un peu « the place To be ». On y mange bien et on y trouve des plats variés. J’ai beaucoup aimé la décoration de l’hôtel, un style un peu colonial. La chambre est immense et bien équipée. Il y a des fenêtres en forme de fleurs avec des couleurs qui se reflètent aux murs le matin. Le personnel est très disponible et attentionné. Nous avions fait appel à l’hôtel pour avoir un chauffeur et un guide. Tout était très propre. Les massages proposés au spa sont fantastiques. Sur le mur du fond de la chambre il y avait des traces de vieille humidité. Ça n’était pas dérangeant et la chambre était saine.

Positives were: super helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast, good bar and restaurant, lovely gardens and swimming pool (with peacocks wandering around the garden), free morning yoga classes There was an big Indian wedding for three of our four nights which was very loud and went on late. After our first night the hotel upgraded our room for free to a a quieter part of the hotel.

The price is charged are currently not - I have always wanted to stay here, but it is definitely not as good as it looks in the photos. The frescoes in the restaurant and reception area are very pretty. the staff are very charming, especially those that Reception. The restaurant Staff must’ve been with a hotel for many years and we’re very kind but they were not very hot on the Service. The rooms are old and need to be updated with faded photographs on the wall and old furniture, bathrooms need a good scrub.

- jessyec2026 (10/5): Beautiful Paradise in Jaipur - Niwas Palace completely exceeding our expectations. I knew that it would be nice but had no idea how wonderful and accommodating it would be. Our rooms were beautiful and easy to get in and out of it. Suraj and many of the other staff members from the reception to the valets were over the top welcoming and easy to talk to.

A large property with lots of green space to sit and be quiet. Several restaurants all serving great food. Our room was beautiful, decorated in old, heritage style but with all modern needs met. They gave me misinformation regarding appointment booking, confirming I can call an hour before when I need the message and they will book me in. When I eventually called to confirm the time in the morning for evening booking, they said they didn't have any availability. So that was a bit disappointing

The room (suite) we had was at the front of the property so a little noisy at night with people going past and talking. It would be quieter at the back of the property.

- Nicky (7/5): Time warp charm - This is an interesting hotel - it feels like it is stuck in another time. We found its old fashioned charm interesting but I would not say it was the most comfortable hotel we have ever stayed in in Jaipur. The gardens around the hotel give a feeling of space in this chaotic city and the huge rooms are old fashioned and characterful. It was very cold in Jaipur and we found we could not warm up the vast room. The bathroom was freezing. I am sure it would be a relief in the heat of the Indian summers.

Staff are very nice and ready to help. Breakfast wasnt par with other 5 star hotels, there are very few items. But staff at breakfast are good. Its a 5 star heritage hotel, atleast have a decent hair dryer, I don’t know it could be from 80s or 90s, it is mounted to wall and just on button nothing else, average hair dryer costs 2000 rs, its not hard to replace. Food in the restaurant isn’t good.

- Ashley (9/5): Overall a great stay at a beautiful property, but expected a bit more for the price. - Narain Niwas Palace is an absolutely beautiful property that feels like a genuine oasis in the middle of Jaipur. The decor throughout is amazing, and I loved the spacious, clean rooms. The dining was a highlight for me; breakfast was really good, and I was impressed that they even provided freshly baked gluten-free bread. Dinner was also nice with plenty of à la carte options, though I'd skip the buffet next time as it felt overpriced at 2,500 INR for what was on offer. Overall, it’s a really nice place and was a great experience. We booked a standard double with a king bed but were initially given a room with two singles. Even after they moved us, the new room still didn't have a king bed. There were also several maintenance issues that I didn't expect from a high-end property, like a clogged shower drain, toilet problems, and a missing toilet roll holder. Service was a bit hit-or-miss as well; for the price, it should be superb, but waiting 20 minutes for water is a bit much. It was also awkward when a staff member stood over me while I was filling out a feedback form (in the two days I was there, I was asked to fill out 3 forms). Finally, while the food was great, the music in the outdoor restaurant was so loud we could barely have a conversation.

- Suvir (9/5): A must stay for a taste of old world charm. Simply stunning! - Beautiful old world charm. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Excellent on site restaurants. Enjoyed the Rajasthani puppet show and dancers. Bed mattresses were a bit too firm. Need to use modern mattresses.
- Daniel (9/5): La vie de palace. - Un palace à faible coût. Lieu parfait. Personnel aidant. Bon petit déjeuner. Repas de Noël plutôt simple. Trop simple. The chai a 3 euros alors qu’on peut l’avoir à 20 centimes dans la rue. Donc les coûts sont élevés.
- Yoan (7/5): Bien mais un peu déçus - Le lieu est vraiment joli, c’est pratique d’avoir des restaurants disponibles juste à côté Petit déjeuner tres très bien. Large choix Le premier soir nous avons été dîner dans le restaurant de l’hôtel,on a trouvé que les chanteurs étaient insistants. C’était assez malaisant. Nous avons été déçus par la chambre qui n’avait rien d’exceptionnel La deuxième nuit, il y a eu de la musique jusqu’à 2h du matin. C’était très fort jusque dans notre chambre. De plus, ils se font plaisir sur les prix des transports vers la gare ou l’aéroport. Mieux vaut prendre un Uber.

- Tammy (9/5): Classic stay - Lovely grounds, well kept up. Loved the restaurant outside next to the shops ( too much ?) There were events every evening (3) that we stayed, i didnt realize there was an entire Other Garden / pool as part was blocked off- only accessible in daylight. Very loud venue music, but ends at 22:00 or so.
