The warm welcomes and their great attention, along with the calm and peaceful atmosphere, truly make it clearly the best hotel in Marrakech. • Brandsww (10/5): Best Holiday Ever! - We recently stayecd at Amanjena from June 6 to 9. While the property itself is stunning, as expected from the Aman group, what truly made this stay extraordinary was the service we received from our dedicated butler, Imad. Having stayed in the past at several Aman properties (to mention some, Amangiri, Amanpuri, Amanpulo and other five-star resorts around the world), we have come to appreciate high service standards. But even with that bar set high, Imad stood out in a class of his own. His attentiveness, anticipation, and sincere care elevated our experience to something far beyond luxury. Imad was always two steps ahead, anticipating our every need with quiet precision. One evening, when one of my sons wasn’t feeling well and casually asked if we could get some medicine, Imad had already arranged for a driver to go out and find the right medication and electrolyte drinks, without us even needing to follow up. Each morning Imad was ready with our preferred tea or coffee the moment we woke up. He also took it upon himself to coordinate our room service breakfasts down to the smallest details, remembering our preferences and ensuring everything was exactly as we liked it. One night, after a very late dinner, we returned to the villa around 11pm, only to find Imad waiting patiently, anticipating that we might enjoy a late cup of tea or coffee to wind down. It’s this kind of thoughtful service that defines true hospitality. No matter where we were , be it in the pool area, reception, breakfast area, or restaurants, Imad always seemed to be discreetly nearby, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. To put it in perspective: I have a couple of wonderful household staff back home, but even if I combined their efforts, it wouldn’t come close to the standard of excellence Imad consistently delivered throughout our stay. Thanks to Imad, this was one of the best holidays my family has ever had - an experience that left a lasting impression and reinforced why Amanjena holds a very special place in our hearts.
• lwohara (6/5): Not a typical Aman property - We chose to stay at the Aman based on three incredible experiences at Aman properties in Asia. We had high expectations and we were disappointed with several aspects of our stay. We had nice prearranged pick up at the airport and greeting at the hotel. We had a nice large room and the hotel layout was attractive. Unfortunately the property is in the middle of development all around it so the approach to the hotel is very unattractive and nothing can be done to change that. The employees were very friendly and attentive and we had excellent service throughout our stay. The food was hit or miss throughout our stay. The highlight was the Japanese grill and the low point was the pizza at lunch at the atmosphere and food at the Italian/Moroccan restaurant. Because you are out of the main part of town and isolated from other places, the food should be a stand out and a reason to stay at the resort. Overall it was a B minus. The interiors are tired and we were told at departure that they are closing for renovation-it is past due. The polyester fabric used throughout the property was in stark contrast to the wonderful linen and natural fabrics at other Aman properties. The beds were itchy and the towels were average. The restaurant linens were 100 polyester and so uninviting that I found it hard to believe that anyone would chose to use them. We thought perhaps it was a country standard until we stayed at our second hotel and slid into beautiful 100 cotton sheets and had breakfast with wonderful natural linens. Aman has an eco friendly vibe and the materials do not match the Aman aesthetic in any way. The hotel helped arrange for golf but scheduled car service that got us to one tee time 5 minutes after the time and incorrectly noted the amount of time if would take to get to the course. The second day we asked to leave earlier so we had time to rent our clubs etc and we waited almost ten minutes for our ride to the course. We called ahead for a car pick up to leave after golf and stood for half an hour until we called a second time. You can not be in an isolated location and not have seamless transportation. The spa experience was OK. We had a massage and were told we could not use the steam because it was in use for a private hammer experience. I was escorted to a lukewarm jacuzzi and given a threadbare robe to relax in before my massage. The rooms are right on top of each other and you could hear through the walls- not exactly relaxing or anything like a typical Aman spa experience. Had this not been an Aman I would have said, it is fine but not at the price point they are charging. It was an elevated Hyatt with Aman prices. Once we stayed at our second hotel, La Mamounia, we realized that Moroccan style and food service is excellent and we should have stayed there the entire trip.

Lots of activities if wanted. Would stay again. Air conditioning in the room didn't appear to work and the gym was very warm.

The Moroccan / Italian not intimate enough. The gym and the spa are far too old and small. But the place is extra quiet and well located

• Julie (10/5): Four Marvellous Nights in Marrakech! - The Aman hotel in Marrakech is everything you would expect and more. It is an oasis within the City. The property is architecturally beautiful, and very well maintained. The staff are friendly, attentive and clearly enjoy working at the resort. Our villa was a dream: traditional tiles, authentic décor and linens. The food was excellent, we especially enjoy the varied al carte breakfast menu and the tagines for dinner were perfect! Also, the hotel helped us organise all sorts of activities: a visit to the Majorelle Gardens, YSL museum, walking tour of the Median, lunch in a Berber Village and quad biking in the desert. Lastly, the turn down service and little surprise gift each night was so thoughtful and special! A very heartfelt thank you to Tim and his team.
• 134joshh (10/5): Amanjena translates to "peaceful paradise," and is true to its name - The Amanjena is a serene retreat in bustling Marrakech and one of the finest hotels we have ever stayed at. The grounds and rooms are stunning and every meal is delicious, but the highlight really is the service. Weeks before check-in, Amanjena staff was reaching out to help us plan our visit, book activities, and answer questions. Before we even introduced ourselves, the entire staff knew our names, which was new for us--we had never experienced quite so personal a touch. Housekeeping made our up our rooms immaculately multiple times per day, and every request was answered immediately. The restaurant staff remembered our dietary preferences and restrictions. All activities were arranged seamlessly. The best hotels stand out for their attention to detail, and the Amanjena thinks of absolutely everything. We were visiting for our anniversary, and they helped make it a very special occasion. We couldn't be more grateful!

Meriem, Matthias, Oussama, and Khadija among the many other staff members were attentive and caring in making our experience memorable. It goes without saying that the architecture is a masterpiece. • Travelnomad2015 (10/5): A Beautiful Moroccan Oasis - We came to attend a wedding & spent 3 nights at this beautiful hotel and resort .it’s a perfect place for a wedding celebration. We stayed in a pool villa facing the golf course . This size is huge and you really don’t want to leave this space as it has all you need , including a beautiful outdoor gazebo area and swimming pool . The room itself is very large and dressing and bathroom areas super large and all very luxurious. The service all around is impeccable and the meals were fantastic ! The golf course came into good use too , so if you like golf this is an excellent spot to enjoy golf and for relaxation too . Great gym and spa facilities . A very large communal pool area too . It comes with a hefty price tag ..But it’s worth the cost for what you get . Special touches everywhere and at evening turndown service.

Amanjena is a true haven in Marrakech - from the minute we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated with the most incredible level of service and attentiveness. Matthias and all of the staff truly went above and beyond on a daily basis - we were away for my husband's 30th birthday and they arranged a room upgrade, organised a beautiful cake and made sure everyone wished him a happy birthday on the actual day, from reception staff to waiters, everyone we walked past knew - it's these touches that made our stay exceptional. We stayed in a Pavillion Piscine room which was beautiful - just as incredible as the grounds it sits within. Everywhere you turn is the most picturesque, pristine corner - it's like stepping into a Wes Anderson film set. A truly breathtaking stay in a world-class hotel.

From the AMAN properties, that we have visited so far, this one rankst amongst the best in terms of overall experience. We particularly loved: - The Architecture: What an elegant and beautifully designed property; Ed Tuttle has created a timeless masterpiece here - Our Room: We highly enjoyed the very spacious Maison; it also offered great privacy when we were hosting a guest - The Service: Probably one of the warmest and most authentic service experiences that we have ever had; almost everybody greeted us by name, knew our daily itinerary as well as f&b preferences, e.g. from the second day the team remembered how we drink our coffee, etc; Matt stood out in particular, hence we want to dedicate a full bullet point for him :-) - Matthias Seitenaden: Definitely the best host that we have ever had in an AMAN (and every other hotel too); the small additions that he organised made our stay even more special (e.g. flowers in the room due to our engagement); we also very much enjoyed his proactive recommendations regarding experiences and how he sometimes challenged our plans and made us switch for something better; he truly lives the AMAN values that we so much appreciate - The Experiences: We enjoyed all of them, particularly the side car tour through different parts of the city (Medina, Palmeraie, etc) and the private Agafay Desert Dinner, which was truly magical Thanks to the whole Amanjena team for making our stay so special. • VascoA115 (10/5): Matt King of Hospitality - I felt the need to come back to amanjena and it didn't disappointed. Last year I was there and the experience was from out of this world. I'm not going to talk about the beauty and stunning property of amanjena cuz everyone agrees with that and what impresses me always is the service. Since the first moment that you step feet in the hotel (it's weird to call this a hotel) you hear "welcome home again" and it really feels like home. I was always greeted by name and if someone need to say something to me they would always start with Mr Vasco. I want to congratulate the gentleman that works in the lunch area (I forgot to ask his name but he is the one that wears glasses) because he remembered that my mom likes like a personalized salad and the way she enjoys her coffee with a cigarette always bringing the ashtray to her even in the pool area. Another amazing person of amanjena is I don't how to write it but I know that it pronounces Noman. He was always worried about us and our well being. He remembered our names and our Likes. He was always worried about the shade in our sunbeds and we had amazing conversations about the philosophy of AMAN. He is truly a great guy, he even got emotional in our last day. See you soon Noman. I don't know how to explain how lovely Sha the Spa Manager is, she is so professional and human at the same time. I had a conversation with her of 1h30min about AMAN, about life, traveling, problems of growing up, good things of growing up etc... In which hotel you have the vibe and the workers the time to do this? It's amazing how human are the people of amanjena and not like robots like in other hotels. Lastly but not least I want to say the biggest thank you possible to the mastermind and King of Hospitality Matt, the Duty Manager of Amanjena. When I was there I remember thinking "How would it be amanjena without Matt?" and I realized of course that the hotel would be the same and the service would be of a 5 star hotel, but amanjena is completely different from everything. Matt makes the hotel feel like a big hug (this is weird but it's the best way I can describe it). Matt is so professional and kind at the same time. He's always asking if everything is going perfect to be sure of our well being. In the previous day of our departure I asked him if we could leave the room on a late check out because our flight was at night and he said that he was almost certain but that he would check and tell me later. 5 mins after I had a message on my phone confirming the late check out. On the last day the house keeping team cleaned our room and made the beds like usual, in other hotels if it's your check out date of course that they would not clean your room. Matt sent someone to buy the exact type of coffee of Nespresso that my mom likes. He assured that we had the table that we want every night and would always speak with us during dinner. He received us with hug and said goodbye to us with an even bigger hug. The best thing about this is that I could give another 1001 examples of good service because they are always happening there. Sorry for this amount of information but for me giving examples is the best thing of explaining something instead of just saying "the service in Amanjena is out of this world" Amanjena is a place where you feel truly human connections, an impeccable attention to detail and a truly attencipation of the things you need and like. First and foremost we would like to thank the Manager of the hotel Matthias Seitenaden for being the most welcoming and kind manager we have ever met. He took care of us and made our experience unique in all senses, by making us felt special. Secondly, the service of the staff, is taken very seriously. The professionality and availability of the staff is just top notch. Finally Amanjena is just breathaking, from the architecture of the villas of the perfect gardens, every single meter is a little gem. A final mention, goes to the complemntary tea time with some special musician and breakfast which were unforgettable. nWe will definitely come back.

This was a special trip for us celebrating our honeymoon and my wife’s birthday. The Amanjena experience with nothing short than perfect. As for the property itself, I don’t think I’ve ever taken so many photos before. It was perfect, the architect, and details (from service to design) was exactly what Aman embodies, bringing the countries culture into the property itself. Good was fantastic, and diverse. The dinner venue was beautiful. Especially coming in with no expectation (did not see any photos beforehand) I was quite taken back by the design and experience. We are happy to call Amanjena our home the next time we come back to Marrakech. Thank you and we will see you again soon!

Perhaps the highlight of the stay was the astronomer on site who brought his telescope and photographed amazing pictures of the moon on our iPhones! It is located a bit farther out from the Medina.

• Nkiru (10/5): Paradise - Oh my goodness. I cannot put into words how serene this resort was. Once you get in you’re in a different world, the staff were amazing, the food was so good, the resort was so beautiful my gosh. Definitely worth every penny and I’ll definitely go back again. The rooms were a bit too cold I think it was due to the stone walls and I just couldn’t understand the heating system
• Josip (10/5): More than this, you know there's nothing - True Aman experience, smiles along the way from the first greet. Rooms are actually pavilions with high ceilings, private fountains and gardens. Very spacious estate. Staff would start the room's fireplace each evening. Restaurant options are great, breakfast included. Nespresso and local wine in the room, fancy drink options in the minibar. Special outside experiences available - we even arranged to start on the check-in day from early morning (thanks Mohamed!). One should burn in hell to object anything

• Liz (10/5): We were able to completely relax here. The staff are incredible, so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Thumbs - It’s faultless really. Perfect destination to unwind.
