Guest Reviews
- Norma (10/5): - The cabin was very cozy.
- Alan (8/5): - The views are exceptional. Staff are kind and willing to assist with requests. Location is perfect- gateway to wells gray park
- cookie and snowy (10/5): - Beautiful view and balcony
- Xiaohus (10/5): - Beautiful
- Deanna (10/5): Going with the flow. - We loved this place, off the grid, no cell service and limited WIFI, it had childhood summer camp vibes and it is located perfectly. It’s RUSTIC but that is why I adored it. Tiny restaurant, which after a day of hiking was perfect. It’s quiet and lovely. Bring a book and bug spray - you’ll love it.
- Nicholas (10/5): - Very nice
- Desirae (10/5): - Room was great, had everything we needed. Great view, great time.
- Trudy (6/5): - Was adequate, but very basic.
Air conditioning was very noisy so couldn't have it on overnight, but the room became very warm indeed.
Wouldn't stay again.
- Francois (10/5): - we loved it
- Corrine (10/5): - Amazing hidden gem just off the beaten path. If you stay here you won’t be disappointed. Such cute one and 2 bedroom cabins. I’m so glad we decided to book here despite some bad reviews. The staff are very friendly too and have a little restaurant and snack items in lobby. Breakfast was beyond great. Eggs, homemade hash browns, bacon, sausage. I’m so glad we never made the mistake and stayed in town on the busy highway at any of the brand hotels.
- Gerard (6/5): Out away from the crowds - The accommodations were ok, especially considering the remote location, it was old
- Vijay (8/5): - Limited dining options.
- Marion (8/5): - Very nice setting just minutes from wells gray provincial park’s front gate
- Balinder (6/5): - Not something to go crazy about. Sheets were dirty and distinct smell. Commode was loose and noisy. Bath tub was old and it was on its last leg.
Check in and check out was easy and polite.
Fan didn’t work in room. Obviously the cabin is without AC.
It is what it is.
- Tracy (6/5): - Wonderful staff and the views and surrounding area gorgeous. The frog and bird sounds were wonderful to hear.
It was a 20 minute drive up into the park and is NOT located within Clearwater.
The room was quite aged, and had a musty/mildew smell and there were several spider webs and their occupants.
Location was stellar, and a not very picky traveler will appreciate the peace and quiet very much.
- Jasmine (8/5): - Love that there's no cell service. It can be a true escape.
- Kenneth (8/5): - Very quiet. Resort a bit run down but clean and pleasant rooms. A bit understaffed due to covid but staff onsite was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Very accommodating!
- Clark (8/5): - Closest hotel to fantastic Wells Gray Provincial Park. Lovely log cabin rooms under new friendly ownership. Only issue is food: as they only serve breakfast, and there are no other restaurants around, remember to bring what you want to eat with you!
- Melanie (10/5): - Great location, nice rooms, beautiful view.
- Ian (10/5): Super helpful staff made the difference - Staff were super helpful. Great base to explore Wells Gray Park. We had a great stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Receiving was good and service was too good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property had these little cabins, they were clean and newly updated however the room had this very musty smell and we could figure out why. The pictures in the website were not what we got . The water was undrinkable as they were going through some sort of renovations. They did provide bottled water for you. Since the water was drinkable we did not shower there. There was no wifi provided or cell service in case of an emergency. We sat outside most of the evening and it was very nice and relaxing being disconnected. Leaving the property early next morning we were able to catch a black bear running down the road. The manager and staff were very friendly . We would stay there again !
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Rustic log cabins with great amenities and exceptional service.
