Guest Reviews
- Barbara (9/5): An excellent value in a beautiful place. - Gorgeous setting. Every room has a balcony and sea view. The beach is large and sandy and the water is clean. The food is very good as well. Quite a few steps to get to some rooms.
- Barry (10/5): The overall perfect place to stay. - Freiendly warm staff who made us feel welcome and eager to help with any requests to maximise our stay
- Jessica (10/5): - The property is in an excellent location with one of the most stunning views imaginable. Waking up and enjoying the scenery every day was truly unforgettable and made the entire stay feel peaceful and relaxing. The atmosphere was beautiful, clean, and very welcoming.
What really made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive from the moment we arrived.
- Globetrotter27 (10/5): - Sehr schöne Lage mit phantastischem Blick aufs Meer. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Frühstück. ---
- Howard (8/5): Amazing location - The location was amazing but possibly a bit remote for some, a car is a must. Views from our room was loverly
Swimming pool & surrounding area.
The owners were very helpful. The surprise of having to pay for sun beds on the beach. Rooms were adequate. No tea/coffee making facilities (had to borrow a kettle ,cup's etc)
Mosquitoes were a nuisance (use repellent & less of a problem)
- Gary (7/5): We got what we paid for, staff were great and friendly. We did arrive at the start of October so everything was winding - Location was good, beach and pool ideal, staff very friendly. Best shower in our four week Greek holiday Was a bit basic, would have liked tea and coffee facilities

- Angella (10/5): Beautiful place to relax! - This place offered a perfect balance of value and comfort. We loved the view and the staff was so kind and friendly.
- Małgorzata (10/5): Cudowny - Piękny hotel położony nad piękną plaża ale urzekło mnie to ,że całkowicie akceptowali naszego pieska .Tak pięknej piaszczystej plaży ,łagodnego zejścia do morza ,kryształowej wody i piaszczystego dna tuż przy hotelu nie mogłam sobie wymarzyć Wszystko rewelacyjne .Rada -musisz mieć wynajęty samochód by zwiedzać Paros ,dotrzeć do pięknych jak z obrazka miasteczek, ale także do pobliskiego sklepu
- Lucelia (8/5): - A vista mar e a envolvência.
- Lydia (9/5): -
- Pietro (7/5): -
- Angela (10/5): Great place for couples and families, locations is amazing - The room was comfortable, you have an option of beach or pool.
Option to eat dinner at the place or go locally for food. Location was good, out of all the hassle and bussle Nothing
- Cleopatra (10/5): -
- Pascal (7/5): - Restaurant très moyen
- Jane (6/5): God udsigt - Fantastisk udsigt over stranden og havet.
- shirley (9/5): Authentic Greece - Beautiful place right by the beach, loved the balconies - great for an evening chill, staff ever so friendly Felt that the menu could have been a little more varied, perhaps a few deals and offers throughout the week.
- Yadiz (10/5): The most loveliest stay in my whole 2 week trip in Greece. - I loved how welcoming the staff was especially Antonio and George those guys are amazing. The property was lovely in front of the beach and perfect location.
- O'flynn (10/5): Brilliant - Location is amazing, we were given rooms with a terrace facing the sea. Fantastic view to wake up to. Cold air con made heat bearable. Breakfast was delicious, pancake machine hit with kids, it was also open until 10.30 so no alarms needed. The family that own the hotel are so welcoming, friendly and informative. Picked us up and dropped us to bus stop, arranged a trip to Naxos for 5e. We stayed for 8 nights and could’ve stayed longer. Lots to explore locally but also easy to get to anti Paros and Naxos. The food served in restaurant is delicious and wide selection of veggie dishes, my son loved veggie burger, I had the local food. It wasn’t an issue for us as we like walking but the location is isolated and 30mins walk to supermarket.
- Ash (9/5): Great Surfer Location - Great staff, good breakfast, comfortable rooms.
Location was great for wind surfers, but not so bad for tourists Rooms had some ants.
Need a car to go to main centers
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional - The view is to die for. We were in the family room (number 10) and the room overlooked the ocean directly. Our kids could go to the beach and we could watch them from the patio area. It was amazing. The pool hours were a bit limited as it didn't open until 11am, which is quite late for kids. But the pool area and view from pool were magnificent. Pool hours were limited. You would need a car to get around the island. There is a bus stop but the hike up the hill in summer months is tough.
- Family (9/5): Superb -
- Rhonda (9/5): Superb -
- Nabil (7/5): I hope they can renew the facility and find ways to prevent ants and mosquitoes from entering the ro - The staff were very friendly and helpful Ants and Mosquitoes
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Can’t beat the location on the water and the free breakfast was great!
- Denise (10/5): Made us feel very welcomed - Really helpful staff, went out of their way (: Nothing
- Elene (9/5): Superb -
- Mallory (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nat (10/5): Lovely resort in a quiet area - The staff were fantastic, view is beautiful, breakfast was great and beach and pool superb! We loved everything but you do need a car
- Nat (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful week in Paros at Paros Philoxenia, everything was above expectation! Incredible view and very friendly staff, we would definitely recommend here but a car is necessary to see all that the island has to offer
- Melanie (10/5): A Wonderful Weekend - This is such a lovely place. The staff were helpful, friendly, and cheerful. The view of the sea from our balcony made my heart glad.
- Dawn-marie (10/5): A wonderful property in a quiet, but accessible part of the island. - I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast, which was wonderful, was included in the price of my room. I found the staff to be generous, helpful and welcoming. Paros Philoxenia is in a great location, close enough by car to the "major" attractions but also remote enough that you are away from the crowds. I would definitely stay here again and base my entire stay on Paros from here. Honestly, I absolutely could not say anything negative about the property.
- Anne (8/5): Very good - Place in front of sea
- Debra (10/5): Great overall - The view Power outage
- Jaymri (4/5): - Our initial check in was great. Plenty of instructions and contact with the staff on how to get to the property using the bus system. After that, even went down hill. This property will nickel and dime you for everything. A towel? Extra. A second room key? Extra. Half of the staff was kind, the other half rude. Breakfast was subpar, and on the second day, they didn't have anything ready AN HOUR after breakfast started. The beds were very flimsy. The view was spectacular though! The bus stop wasn't a far walk, but there is nothing to eat or do in the immediate area. You have a 30 minute walk (or short bus ride) to get to a restaurant, market, or shop. I would consider this a hostel and not a hotel. So, if the bare minimum is more your vibe, this place would be a good fit.
- Daesha (10/5): Exceptional - The view, rooms and staff were amazing!
- William (6/5): Pleasant - Nice quiet part of Paros with great access to windsurfing
- Lina (8/5): Simple but good! - Location, cleanness, welcoming owners. Breakfast could be better. Staff serving customers at the bar could improve on their customer service attitude
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - It was beach front !
- Mac (9/5): Superb -
- Carlos (10/5): Stunning sea view, sun-and moonrises over Naxos and windswept beach with golden sand and crystal clear water with a scen - With a to-die-for sea view and perched over a windswept beach, Paros Philoxenia offers sun- and moonrises above Naxos, a laidback atmosphere, super clean rooms, welcoming staff and a priceless at-home feeling. Populated by windsurfers, families and pensioners, the hotel is perfectly located between Piso Livadi and Drios, both of which within walking distance along a scenic seaside trail. From Piso Livadi, you can take a 20-minute ferry to Naxos for a day trip to the island for only 5 euros round trip. In Paros, make sure to visit the village Marpissa, near Piso Livadi and have moussaka at Stella’s, a restaurant behind Golden beach, approximately 10 minutes on foot from the hotel. You can reach the hotel by bus from the Paros port for only 3 euros (Ask to stop Tserdakia = New Golden Beach) but not the airport. Enjoy your relaxing holiday, bring a book and remember what a great value deal Paros Philoxenia is for a 3-star hotel.
- Joshua (10/5): Great place, with lovely people and a perfect location - Great facilities, great staff/owners and you can walk right out onto the beach which was perfect for us.
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Francisco (8/5): Very good -
- Pamela (10/5): Loved! - The beautiful beach and sunrise every morning, great staff, very friendly. I would highly recommend Outside porch area could have been swept and a bit cleaner but the ocean view made up for it
- Trevor (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location, great staff.
- Lisa-marie (9/5): Relaxed and laid back paradise in Paros - Staff were so friendly, helping us out with traveling, driver picks and drops you to and from bus stop for free, receptionist was extremely helpful and lovely, great views, surf school right outside Was a little remote with closest shop 1.5km away
- Carla (10/5): Best accommodation!! - Best accommodation we have stayed in on our 9 week euro trip!!
- Most accomodating hotel in Paros !!
- Amazing customer service.
- Would recommend a car. The staff were more than happy to help us hire a car and order taxis at a very decent price
- Waiters were all so friendly and attentive to our needs. The barman bought us mosquito spray and free shots
- Offered washing services
- They cleaned the rooms properly each day
- Clean, amazing view !!
The customer service here really made the stay so so nice! You’ll need a car to get around and see the island as it is a bit of a walk to the nearest town
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - It’s location
- Mirella (7/5): Good - The hotel has very friendly, welcoming and warm staff whom are there to help. The hotel is wind surf oriented, since there is a windsurf shop below the hotel at the beach. Hotel is located at the beach and the rooms have a nice seaview. It is good to have a car/scooter in order to drive to nearby restaurants for dinner in the evening. The breakfast is simple and effective. Rooms are spotless clean, though not the newest. The pool is nice and fresh. Sunbeds are oke, but definitely umbrellas could be added to the sunbeds as all sunbeds are in the sun during the middle of the day and afternoon. For sunbeds at the beach below, where the hotel is located they still charge you an additional 20€ per day even if you are a hotel guest. According to the sign nearby the pool/bar that is, we did not check it out. Beds at the beach do have umbrellas though.
- Julie (9/5): Warm and welcoming with amazing beach views. - Loved the sea view and beach access. We got an upgrade so it was wonderful to have two rooms together. The hosts were warm and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was tasty and the automatic pancake maker was a huge hit with my son. The pool looked great. We had a lot of wind so didn’t use the pool or beach but the n better weather they would have been amazing. Food for lunch was great too and so were the helpful recommendations. Not the most modern place we stayed. But it was comfortable and had everything we needed.
- Gsassi (10/5): Quintessential Greek Getaway and Relaxation - The view of beach and sea were stunning. The architecture and layout of the hotel is quintessential Greek. Rooms stay cool and soundproof for great naps. Windows could be updated because some cracks in bathroom let in mosquitoes. Umbrella and beach chair rentals should be included in price of room.
- Donha (10/5): Simply beautiful - Fairytale-like location in Greece! The property is great for relaxation and leisure. Breakfast is simple but good. I'd suggest renting a car or scooter like us from Xilaras (the hotel arranged this) to go around as other places are too far by foot. The room doesn't have nets and as much as we tried to keep everywhere closed we were being bitten by too many mosquitoes! I'd recommend getting spray against mosquitos and for mosquito bites.
- Teodora (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect! Looking forward to coming back here ❤️
- Dimitris (9/5): Superb - The location, the view, the bed Breakfast, small tv
- Ruiz (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, and hosts were so helpful and pleasant. Specially George was so kind and helpful 😊 The breakfast was delicious. We recommend the place a 100%. Everything was perfect!
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (9/5): Comfortable - Close to the beach great facilities Needs an update
- Ketsia (10/5): - Our stay was amazing, the beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous and the staff so nice! We will definitely come back.
- Nicole (10/5): Peaceful, beach-town vibe with gorgeous grounds and breathtaking views! - Beautiful grounds, gorgeous views, many options for communal outdoor seating on the property, beachfront resort feel with sandy New Golden Beach. Outdoor space with a view. Comfortable beds, great water pressure. Staff were wonderful! Nothing. If anything, perhaps a bit remote without a car/moto. (That’s also part of the charm).
- Janine (8/5): Peaceful and at home - The staff was extremely welcoming. The hotel had a great location. We were granted with 6 hours more for late checkout. They always had a solution for any of our queries We had to pay 10 eu daily in order to have an umbrella and chairs at the beach.
- Nickyhench (10/5): A fabulous friendly family run hotel. - Fabulous family run hotel.
Food was amazing and reasonably priced .
Very friendly. We were introduced to everyone and nothing was too much trouble. Nothing.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Picturesque, quiet location, excellent views of the sea, lovely apartment, nice food, nice swimming pool and relaxation areas, directly opposite the beach, decent breakfast to get you started for the day, staff very helpful and friendly, not too far away from the harbour town that has restaurants and bars and daily boat trips. Would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing family holiday that we thought was great value for money. We didn't have time to go windsurfing at the windsurf centre right there, but that was our own fault.
- Conor (9/5): Superb - Great calm location with a quiet beach great for families or couples. The staff were fantastic, helpful both with local recommendations for both food and things to do. This really sold the experience. Breakfast was much like what you would expect for a small hotel! Few things could use a little refreshing but otherwise no complaints.
- Sevak (10/5): Exceptional - It was like my home away from my home:)
- Sevak (10/5): Exceptional - The best hotel I have ever been...
- Sienna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): Spent most of our day at the beach! - Everyone was super friendly and helpful!
- Fabrice (10/5): - Superbe vue des chambres, personnel adorable.
Hotel familial.
- Yannis (10/5): A paradise hotel and location. - Very friendly and smily owners. Every one working here was doing his maximum to help us, to advise us …
A fine sand beach directly in front of the hotel: “new golden beach” with seats and parasols…The view from the appartement was absolutely stunning… we had a massive private terrasse. We were upgraded and had two appartements instead of one. Breakfast included very good Nothing
- Angela (10/5): Outstanding beachfront property with exceptional staff and host that treat you like family - - amazing beach front location
- host and all staff are friendly and helpful
- facilities are outstanding
- communication and hospitality is very homely Nothing we didn’t like
- Amanda (10/5): Perfect beach & amazing staff! - The beach & the staff were the highlights of our stay! Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids from 2-14) booked a junior suite which fit us perfectly! The hotel arranged our transport to and from the port (for a fee). The room is basic but we didn’t spend too much time in it because the hotel sits right near the most perfect little beach! Although Golden beach is just a few minutes walk away, the convenience and emptiness of this beach was just what we came to Paros for. Great and varied breakfast. The pool bar/restaurant is a great convenience and our kids loved having their delicious milkshakes on the beach! We’d recommend a car if you’re wanting mobility around the island as this is nicely secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. A couple of other hotels next door with lunch/dinner options. Top notch however was the staff! Everyone is so warm, friendly, and chill! Just our vibe 🤙🏽 The rooms could be refreshed a bit.
- Alejandro (8/5): Must come - Please come it’s a basic but lovely property. Can use at little upgrade in washrooms and bar area but service, staff and view is just awesome
- Felix (9/5): Superb - + Very nice Hotel with direct access to a nice relaxed (surfer) beach
+ Room with great view and own balcony/terrace
+ Solid Breakfast
+ Very nice staff
+ Parking for the car next to the hotel - nothing to complain about given the value for the price
- Shower was a little old with no door or curtain, but that was no problem
- Kevin (10/5): Wish I could stay longer - Friendly family atmosphere Nothing
- Gwendolyn (9/5): Relaxed Stay - The hotel staff is relaxed and very welcoming and happy to help with anything. We took the bus from the ferry terminal and got picked up and dropped off at the bus stop. Room and facilities were clean and tidy and the location is very beautiful. If you enjoy a beach holiday with not many distractions it's the perfect place for you. You'll need a car to get to other places for drinks and food, there is a small restaurant and bar at the hotel and next door hotels have similar. Good size pool and lots of nice space to sit outside in the shade. The food wasn't amazing and the variety is not there, but it's not bad. Hence, get a car so you can visit the fantastic restaurant nearby.
- Dalia (8/5): Wonderful overall - The staff was amazing, there is a beach right infront the property and another one 5 min away with the car. it is a bit far from the down town Nousa, 30 min with car.
Loved the room and the balcony, the bathroom is tiny, wish it was a bit bigger, but it worked. Bathroom is a bit small.
- Rene (7/5): Great location, good value for money, has potential to be so more more with a few touches. - Location, shower- hot water and pressure!, breakfast was adequate. Room decor was very basic, coyld be so much nicer with just a little attention to detail; pillows, more authentic pictures, decor.
Lots of mosquitos and ants.
- Melanie (10/5): As a solo traveller I would definitely stay here again. - My room was at the top of the building, nice and private and with a good sized balcony and lovely sea view. It was extremely clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to help me with a couple of issues I had. As a solo traveller I really appreciated this as well as the warmth and friendliness of both Nikos and Lila and their friends.
- Huy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Enjoyed it a lot - Very calm not crowded
