• Samira (9/5): Schöner Platz fernab des Massentourismus - Wunderschöne, sehr gepflegte Anlage mit sauberen Zimmern/Bungalows und bequemen Betten. Es gibt direkten Meerzugang und am lebendigen Riff, das nur ein paar Meter entfernt ist, kann man unzählige Fischarten sowie Schildkröten und Rochen sehen. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und das Service sehr gut! Für ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis braucht es: einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer, einen Föhn und das Frühstück in Buffetform.

• Michael (8/5): 10 Nächte in einem Gartenparadies - Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderbar grün und fügt sich harmonisch zusammen. Die Bungalows sind komfortabel und geräumig. Besonders erwähnen muss ich das Spa und die Anwendungen...unglaublich schön und gut gemacht. Ein besonderes Lob an das Spa Team von uns. Der Pool Bereich mit der Nähe zu Bar, Restaurant und Tauchbasis war perfekt um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen. Jeder des gesamten Hotelpersonals waren mega freundlich und nett. Immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Das Essen war einfach köstlich und typisch balinesisch. Die Aussicht vom Bungalow (Sea View Bungalow 3) war unglaublich wenn morgens die Sonne aufgeht. Als Urlaubsunterkunft kann ich das Resort nur empfehlen. Wenn man das Resort bucht um im Meer zu baden, Schnorcheln oder Tauchen vom Strandyaus, muss man wissen das es keinen Strand gibt. Stattdessen muss man über einen Kieselstrand mit teils sehr grossen Brocken ins Wasser. Dazu kommen noch manchmal etwas grössere Wellen aufgrund des fehlenden Saumriffs das man in der Vergangenheit hier zur Kalkgewinnung leider abbaute. Fazit...Ein und Ausstieg teils sehr mühsam und nur für Menschen ohne Gehprobleme zu empfehlen. Wir sind Taucher und abgesehen von den erwähnten Problemen ist das Tauchen hier sehr schön und Artenreich. Es lohnt sich hier die Unterwasserwelt zu erkunden.

Von der Anlage bishin zum Personal alles top! Das Tauchen was von Dive Center organisiert wurde war unbeschreiblich. Eine Wiederholung ist hier sogar ein Muss.

The food is good and not too expensive I didn’t like the vibe. It feels a bit cold, business like, I didn’t find a happy Indonesian vibe like in other hotels in bali. Bad wifi, you have to fill in your password every 5 minutes Too much noise from the village, iman shanting for 3 hours every night. Diving school does not feel welcoming at all.

• Anita (9/5): Nice experience - Our stay was lovely. The hotel grounds were incredibly scenic - lush and green with views of a volcano in the background. Cozy hammocks and a warm pool added to the relaxing atmosphere, and it was the perfect spot to watch the sunrise. The rocky coastline had crystal-clear water, and we even managed to enjoy some snorkeling. The flowers ands welcome drink on arrival was a very nice touch, and the room had all the essentials, just one small note - in comparison to other places we ran out of hot water quite quickly. It’s also important to know that there’s no motorbike rental available, and getting to the island’s center or south could be challenging. On our check-out day, it was a bit tricky to get a Grab or Gojek to Ubud. Despite that, the surroundings were truly amazing, exactly the setting and vibe we were looking for, plus the view form the room was truly breathteaking!

My expectations coming here prior was that I did not know as I have never been this side. We had a rented Villa in Ubud as my partner loves the yoga scene however I am a scuba diver and after getting a driver the first week it was taking 2.5 hours to get to my dives so I decided to book this place after searching on booking.com it exceeded my expectations it’s quiet the staff are so so friendly the food oh the food is so delicious. I didn’t utilise the dive shop as I had an external dive guide however I would not if you were doing this a small charge would be nice to use the facilities to clean your gear even though you aren’t diving through there. Spa - is absolutely a must! Best massage I have had in 3 weeks - very affordable Dive Shop - staff only one seemed over bearing nothing was a yes more than a no. I think a small surcharge for using dive shop facilities if diving external is fair I was happy to pay but it was still a no. Wifi- There basically is none while we were staying I understand the fact of getting away but some work remotely and also I had a family emergency with a relative back home so I had to rearrange my return flight it was nearly impossible with the internet infrastructure here. I would recommend Starlink? As I will be bringing mine next year Recommend - a small fitness area, yoga mat, TRX fitness, small weights,

• Sergej (8/5): - The diving center does not have its own boat and they do not take you to see the reef and sunken ships. You can dive only near the hotel, and this does not make sense, because the depth is small and a mask is enough. Mice run around the rooms looking for food,because the rooms are not clean enough. SPA is very good. Breakfasts are also very good. The view of the sunrise from the hotel's shore is simply fantastic
• Dominic (10/5): Great stay with the family and will come again! - We booked one of the two two-bedroom villas with private pool, which was a bliss for the kids. The resort is under Swiss ownership, which explains the cleaneliness. All staff is extremely friendly and every day utterly helpful. The dive center was super, too, and I could enjoy some beautiful dives even at the house reef, while family had a great time at our pool. One morning reception helped us to book a local fisherman to go fishing, starting before sunrise … fantastic!! I guess you don’t come here to enjoy typical Balinese Food local style. For that you go down the street and find yourself. But, the food provided by the resort restaurant is very pleasant and first of all save to eat (contrary to a minor risk on the street, if you have a sensitive stomach).

Not a very touristy area, pretty much stayed in the hotel for the entire four days, but loved every minute of it! Cute little bungalows spread out over a perfect lawn with beautiful flowers. Restaurant with a view over the water. My husband got certified as a diver and was also super happy with it. We went snorkelling right in front of the hotel and there is so much to see! A wonderful break from the craziness of the south-east of the island.

Beautiful sunrise to experience. Very peaceful and relaxing. No kettle to make own hot drinks in room. Only one type of pillow available which was very firm.

• Sean (8/5): Very good - The location and view cannot be beat, and the staff were warm and helpful. I didn’t like the restaurant. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was minimal: essentially there were three fixed options. I went with two slices of bacon, two pieces of toast, a very small plate of fruit, and a small glass of juice (which was almost entirely foam). The wait staff was pleasant, but it was an incredibly small selection of foods. Dinner was not great either (dry chicken, and mystery chopped something or other).

Bungalow is clean and modern - more spacious than it appears in the photos. Good meals and menu selection. Our bungalow was the closest to the restaurant, but the Wifi only connected in the restaurant, which was a bit frustrating. Quiet location means that There aren’t any dining alternatives nearby, but the restaurant was cheap and good. It was a shame that the Two small pools with the bar in between, could have so easily combined into one long lap pool, with the bar located on the resort side. Totally understand that Bali is still getting back on its feet after Covid, but it would have been nice to have free drinking water in the restaurant, like the other resorts where we stayed, during this same trip.

• Cassandra (7/5): Good - A great place to stay visiting family who grew up in a village in kubu. A nice safe place to stay! The views and resort layout is stunning. The 2 bedroom villa was very spacious and a huge yard with a pool made it great. They did some happy birthday decorations on the bed and bintangs in a bucket as requested also a lovely birthday cake and sang at dinner for my partner. Would stay again! Prices are cheap and very reasonable. Lots of bugs! We just sprayed the doors and curtains at night as the doors do have slight cracks in them even when locked allowed small bugs to get in. The two bedroom villa wasn't as private as we thought with cleaners & gardeners entering to check things in the yard and pool in the morning they were entering a few times. would be nice to be made aware first that this happens.

• Era (4/5): A good resort but too many bad experience. - The resort is beautiful and clean. The garden is pretty. The location is a bit isolated but we like it and it's direct in front of ocean. I paid for 2 BR villa with private swimming pool. We got villa Emma, which is the furthest from beach and any other facilities ( restaurant, bar, common swimming pool ) 1. There is NO INTERNET CONNECTION in Villa Emma, I PAID for it ( at booking.com it said wi fi is available)!!! They can not fix the problem until the end of our stay. It made our the stay was not comfortable at all. We'd have to go to common areas, restaurant and common swimming pool to get a wi fi connection. Why did I pay villa with private swimming pool if we've kept going to common swimming pool for a wi fi connection while relaxing and sun bathing. We came from Singapore and France, no one want to use data roaming from overseas to connect Internet. 2..There was a MICE in the bedroom. On our first night I saw a MICE in one bedroom where my daughter was sleeping. I closed the bedroom before it moved out to other rooms, it was cornered inside. That night was pourring rain, no land phone neither internet connection. My son have walked two times under the rain for help. We wanted hotel staff get rid of that mice. Two staffs arrives after 45-50 minutes, they opened the bedroom door and in one minutes later they announced there was no mice. They could not find it or they do not know how to find it (?).The next morning they asked the gardener to put a mice trap inside...and that's all.....we stayed 3 nights with a possibility a mice ( or more ?) inside bedroom. That's true that we never see another mice there until end of our stay but I don't pay this resort to have an experience eye to eye with a MICE. 3. The staffs are very nice but not helpfull. 4. PADI Scuba diving centre does not have a permanent instructor. So if you want to do a discover scuba diving, you may need to book an instructor few days in advance. In our case we can not dive at Kubu Indah resort, because there was no freelance instructor available.

We contacted them through phone and they where so helpful. We asked them if they can deliver it to our next destination and we will pay for the transport. It was arranged within a few hours and the next morning it arrived at my destination. I 'm super happy with their service! -
• En-xi (9/5): food still good as usual, the view and pool too. recommend to stay. If arrive too suggest prepare your own meal or order - the pool and sunset can’t find any socket to charge my equipment and device

• Naga (1/5): im sorry i stay all over the world in many kinds of hotels, this one seems to just want money. poor service and faciliti - layout ok , decoration ok, room on nice location poor customer service, tiny welcome drink, no bottle water in room just small jug of water! no toilet amenities at all. no tea/coffee maker, asked for hot water, must buy. this hotel looks good but is not, its german owned and just is cold. sorry never again
