The only thing I can fault is the AC. We stayed during a very hot time and the room was too hot, maybe because we are British and can’t handle the heat!

• Marie (1/5): - Nous sommes très déçus car l'établissement ne correspondait absolument pas à la description ni aux photos publiées par booking. L'hôtel était totalement à l'abandon, aucune réception, aucun personnel sur place, tous les espaces communs étaient fermés, l'hôtel était en partie délabré, la terrasse d'accueil, lieu principal de l'établissement, avec vue sur la mer est en train de s'effondrer, des morceaux de bétons tombent dans une cave, ce qui rendait cet espace dangereux et inutilisable. Nous avions réservés avec une option petit déjeuner mais rien ne correspondait aux photos, nous nous sommes retrouvés avec un plateau très minimaliste, sans service ni buffet. La ville était totalement fermée à cette période, ce qui n'était pas précisé dans l'annonce. Ces éléments constituent un manquement évident aux services promis et à l'expérience attendue. Je souhaite donc obtenir un dédommagement pour ce séjour non conforme. Je reste bien sur à votre disposition pour transmettre les photos attestant de la situation.La propreté de l’établissement était également très préoccupante : notre chambre comportait de nombreuses toiles d’araignée, de la poussière partout, et aucun ménage n’a été effectué durant notre séjour. Il n’y avait aucun personnel disponible pour répondre à nos besoins — nous avons même dû dormir avec une seule couverture une personne pour deux, sans possibilité d’en obtenir une supplémentaire. De plus, toutes les chambres de l’hôtel étaient grandes ouvertes, donnant une impression d’abandon et d’insécurité.
• Uwe (10/5): Zimmer mit Sonnenuntergang und familiärer Gastfreundschaft. - Die Lage ist super, direkt gegenüber vom schönsten Strand in Ios. Direkt gegenüber ist dazu ein tolles Fisch Restaurant. Chris und seine Familie sind total herzlich und gastfreundlich. Chris hat uns eines schönen Abends zum Ouzo eingeladen und wir haben uns länger unterhalten. Es ist Urlaub wie bei Freunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber liebevoll zubereitet. Es gab auf Anfrage gefüllte Toasties und tollen Cafe / Cappuccino....Die Zimmer sind sehr nett im Kykladen Stil entworfen, mit schönen Rundungen. Dusche hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Balkon mit Panoramablick aufs Meer und Sonnenuntergang war gratis dabei, aber unbezahlbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Nichts

• Antonella (10/5): - Il comfort che ha questa struttura é grandioso! Si scende e ci si trova su una delle spiagge più belle di Ios: Mylopotas! In più é distante 8 minuti dal centro di Chora. Al di là di questi aspetti positivi, i proprietari George e sua moglie, la suocera di George e le ragazze che lavorano di mattina, durante il momento della colazione, sono persone fantastiche! Ci hanno dato dal primo giorno una super accoglienza: grigliata in occasione del proprietario! Sembra di essere a casa. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura! See you soon!

Al llegar al hotel, nos informaron de que nuestra habitación no estaba disponible porque supuestamente estaba averiada y no quedaban más habitaciones en el establecimiento, de dicha incidencia nos avisaron sin previo aviso, lo cual nos complicó el viaje.Nos reubicaron en otro hotel cercano, pero la calidad y estética no se correspondían en absoluto con el hotel que habíamos reservado y pagado. Además, teníamos contratado el desayuno incluido en la reserva original, pero en el nuevo hotel no estaba incluido . Para poder desayunar tuvimos que desplazarnos al hotel inicial y, tras una larga explicación (contando que no hablábamos el mismo idioma), para entender que podíamos hacerlo allí aunque no estuviéramos alojados, como así nos lo dijo el hombre que nos recibió y nos realojó el primer día, y que casualmente no estaba allí. En resumen, la gestión de la incidencia dejó mucho que desear y no recibimos el servicio que esperábamos ni por el que habíamos pagado.

• SPYRIDON (6/5): - Δωμάτιο με πολύ ωραία θέα σε ιδανική τοποθεσία στο Μυλοποτα. Σε χρονικά διαστήματα με ζεστή και χωρίς αέρα ο παλιός ανεμιστήρας οροφής είναι ανεπαρκής με αποτέλεσμα να είναι αρκετά δύσκολη η διαμονή. Το νερό δεν έχει καθόλου πίεση. Ελλιπής καθαριότητα.

• Armin (8/5): Väl prisvärt hotell med engagerad personal på fenomenal plats - Det ligger väldigt centralt och nära den mycket populära och Ios finaste strand - Mylopotas. Det är även gångavstånd till en annan mycket fin strand (Kolitsani). Bussen stannar precis utanför hotellet. Personalen är oerhört trevlig och hjälpsam. De tog väl hand om oss och hjälpte till med att ordna reservationer på en fullbokad restaurant. Hotellet ligger bra till och är prisvärt. En fördel är att det ingår en enklare frukost med kaffe, något som var en positiv överraskning. Man bör komma ihåg att det för närvarande inte finns AC på rummen men det finns dörrar till en balkong som kan stå öppna samt en takfläkt. Det funkar ändå bra! Hemsidans bilder stämmer också bra med verkligheten! :)

It is just 2 meters from the bus stop serving the entire island of Ios, and 10 meters from the beach, right across from the famous Drakos tavern. The rooms are simple, quiet, clean, and pleasant, with a beautiful view of the sea and at unbeatable prices. Georges and his family welcome their guests like members of their own family and are always attentive to your needs !

• Valle (6/5): - Las vistas son preciosas, está enfrente de la playa y tiene un balcón grande. El recepcionista era una persona maravillosa. El baño es horrible, la ducha no existe, es un grifo encima del váter así que se empapa todo y la puerta no cerraba. No hay aire acondicionado.

La stanza era molto essenziale, non c'era l'aria condizionata e il bagno era scarso, la pressione della doccia era sufficiente solo per darsi una sciacquata.

• Marina (8/5): I recommend it, it’s a good property. - The staff is very friendly, and there’s also a fridge in the room to store drinks. Very close to the beach and with a sea view. There was no shower curtain, but it wasn’t much of a problem for me. Breakfast was less rich compared to other hotels, good, but nothing special.

• Claudine (2/5): Très décevant. Hôtel mal entretenu - Seul point positif: la propriétaire Maria, 80 ans, est très gentille. Je déconseille fortement cet établissement. Chambres situées au deuxième et troisième niveau, énormément de marches. Aucun mobilier, tout est en béton peint, le lit, la penderie, la table… et la peinture est défraîchie, vraiment sale, il y a des trous dans les murs. On sent les ressorts du matelas. Pas de climatisation, pas de sèche-cheveux. Le ventilateur au plafond inutilisable tellement il grince. Porte de salle de bain qui frotte par terre. Petit frigo bruyant. L’eau du lavabo coule au compte-goutte. En résumé tout est vieillot, c’est normal puisque la construction date de 1970 et n’est pas bien entretenue. De plus cet hôtel est situé tout au bout de la plage de Mylopotas et en octobre il n’y a plus une seule taverne ouverte ! Mieux vaut louer au port qui reste vivant hors saison.

L'emplacement est idéal, devant un arrêt de bus qui vous emmène en 10 min à Chora. Superbe plage à 3 min à pied, et très belle vue sur la baie et la superbe mer Egée Pas de climatisation, il faisait un peu chaud dans la chambre !

• António (3/5): Alojamento sem condições - Boa localização, com paragem de autocarro à porta do Hotel. Perto de um Beach Club, de restaurantes, cafés... Instalações muito antigas e totalmente desajustadas às necessidades atuais. Quarto sem ar condicionado, apenas uma ventoinha ruidosa. Poucas tomadas, o que limitou o carregamento dos nossos equipamentos eletrónicos. Casa de banho sem quaisquer condições: não havia zona de duche (tomámos banho, literalmente ao lado da sanita), o lavatório era extremamente pequeno e a torneira enorme, o que fazia com que nos molhássemos a lavar a cara e/ou os dentes. Sem espaço para colocarmos os nossos pertences e o pior de tudo, o autoclismo estava partido (apesar de termos informado o funcionário, logo pela manhã, ao longo do dia não houve qualquer reparação. Quando voltamos a solicitar uma solução, foi-nos dada a possibilidade de utilizar o wc de outro quarto. As fotos do quarto, disponibilizadas no Booking, não correspondiam à realidade. Ficámos 2 noites e não houve limpeza do quarto. Pequeno almoço servido no jardim, apesar do espaço ser agradável, não apresentava condições: falta de mesas e cadeiras, pouca diversidade, muito, muito básico. Tínhamos de solicitar tudo ao funcionário, pois não há buffet. Precisa urgentemente de obras de remodelação e de melhorar a qualidade dos serviços.
• Mario (7/5): Fantastische lokatie! - Ios Plage ligt op een werkelijk fantastische plek met mooi uitzicht over het gehele strand (een van de mooiste stranden tijdens ons bezoek aan 4 eilanden). Het hotel, eigenlijk meer een guesthouse, heeft een hele fijne en gemoedelijke sfeer met dank aan de vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaars en medewerkers. De bedden zijn heel goed (stevig). Strandbedden een zeer acceptabele prijs van €30 per set bij Faros op 5 minuten lopen De kamer is flink gedateerd, heeft geen airconditioning, de badkamer is erg klein en de douche heeft geen gordijn of afscheiding (zou ook niet echt passen). Enig onderhoud en investering zou op z'n plaats zijn. De wifi op de kamer was slecht (als in geen bereik). Het ontbijt was beperkt, maar op zich okay. Ondanks de mindere punten en vooral de lokatie, een prima verhouding prijs/kwaliteit van €130 per nacht.
