The room was warm, spacious and cozy.

Voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor auto's. Sommige personeelsleden zouden wat vriendelijker kunnen acteren. 's avonds in de lounge kun je wel een drankje bestellen, maar er is geen kaasje / worstje voorhanden. Dat vinden de meeste Nederlanders wel lekker bij een drankje, toch ?

Wir hatten das große Glück, einige Tage im Hotel St. Georg zu verbringen – und es war von Anfang bis Ende ein absoluter Genuss! Zimmer: Unsere Junior Suite (Nr. 104) war riesig, modern, hochwertig und gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Besonders gefallen hat uns der edle Eichenparkettboden und der anschaltbare Kachelofen – so etwas habe ich noch nie zuvor in einem Hotelzimmer gesehen! Die große Sitzecke, viel Stauraum, ein Safe und die riesige Schiebetür zum überdachten Balkon mit Liegestühlen und traumhaftem Blick auf die Berge haben das Ganze perfekt gemacht. Das Bad war ebenfalls sehr großzügig mit Badewanne und Dusche, alles stilvoll und neu. Auch die kleinen Details haben überzeugt: beleuchtete Schränke, kuschelige Daunenbettwäsche, Bademantel, Wellnesstasche mit Handtüchern und Latschen – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und nicht zu weich, wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Essen: Hier wird man kulinarisch rundum verwöhnt! Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen: eine große Auswahl, frisches Obst in bester Qualität, eine Saftpresse, gutes Brot und Brötchen – ein Traum. Einziger Mini-Kritikpunkt: der Bacon hätte etwas knuspriger sein dürfen 😉. Das Abendessen bestand aus einem hervorragenden Salatbuffet und vier weiteren Gängen. Abwechslungsreich, liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Besonders der Grillabend mit bestem Fleisch, von der sympathischen Chefin persönlich serviert, war ein Highlight. Man merkt: hier wird mit Leidenschaft gekocht und serviert! Wellness & Außenbereich: Die Saunalandschaft ist großzügig und sehr gepflegt, der Innenpool wunderbar und der Außen-Whirlpool mit Bergblick einfach herrlich. Toll finden wir auch, dass der Wellnessbereich erst ab 16 Jahren ist – so bleibt es schön ruhig. Der Gartenbereich ist ebenfalls wunderschön angelegt, mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten zum Entspannen. /

- Tim (10/5): Very happy to recommend - The six course evening meal was generally outstanding, including an excellent selection of dishes for the salad buffet. The outdoor whirlpool is a great addition, in a beautiful setting. Our room was spacious and the mattresses were the perfect firmness for us (as side-sleepers). The hotel is well located for the two cable car stations in Mayrhofen, as well as the bus services to the Hintertux Glacier and the Schlegeis Lake. The staff were very attentive, courteous and friendly. A very minor thing - the hot breakfast options were lukewarm. The hotel we stayed at subsequently cooked hot food to order and that is definitely the superior option. But otherwise, there was nothing we disliked about this hotel.

Die abwechslungsvolle Gestaltung des Hotels war sehr beeindruckend. Ein paar Wassergläser statt der Plastikbecher im Zimmer wären gut.

- Rydnell (10/5): Nice skiing holiday - We did have a fantastic stay for 9 days att this very nice and very well maintained hotel. It was our second stay at this hotel. This time we had a nice room with a big balcony facing the Ahornbahn. The hotel offers several facilities such as a nice spa area with an indoor pool and an outside jacuzzi and there are also different kinds of saunas. Excellent dinners and breakfast are served in a nice restaurant. The owners and all of the staff are very caring. The hotel offers good parking facilities and the location is close to both lift stations Ahornbahn and Penkenbahn and are easily reached. A ski room for storing boots and skis is offered. We are over all very satisfied with our stay and hope to be back next year again.

The food was quite excellent with a slight Austrian flavour, whilst the staff in this family run hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location suited us well as we planned to do as much walking as we could, and it was in a good position for the ski lifts. We were there in June so skiing wasn’t on our agenda. Mayrhofen itself is quite charming with all the facilities that we would look for. We can’t think of anything!
