- julie_spafford (8/5): Lovely holiday, just needed a couple of minor changes! - Very welcoming Reception and always helpful. Must single out Bianca who was so very kind.
We asked if possible for a walk in shower and got a disabled apartment on the Ground Floor. We had a wet room which was perfect for me suffering severe arthritis. Got to say that the shower gel had a really lovely fragrance..
Two single beds which were a bit softer to what we are used to but still slept well. Lots of wardrobe and shelf space. Two settees in lounge area. Hob and fridge. All very clean.
Breakfast was ok. Good choice of cereal and home made (I think) plain and flavoured yoghurts . Fresh fruit. Artisan breads. Typical streaky bacon and mostly chorizo style sausages. Lovely big hash browns. Scrambled, hard boiled and fried eggs. Orange juice was weak but I really liked the chilled water with lemons in and one with oranges in. Staff were always pleasant and quick to clear tables.
The pool area was very clean with lots of sunbeds. The only problem being the beautiful big trees around the area meant you were often in the shade but with plenty of sunbeds, you could move.
Snacks from 1100-1700. Burgers and pizza, bread cakes, bit of salad, bit of fresh fruit, chips or wedges but wasn’t always hot.
Lunch was lots of salad items including sweetcorn and tuna. Always lovely little squares of tasty pizza. Couple of meat dishes, potatoes, chips and different veg. Show cooking was usually a fish and one or two meats but they had already been cooked and put in a dish to keep warm so were a bit dry. What a shame! For all inclusive diners red, white and rosé chilled wine on draught. Mini cakes or gateaux and some fresh fruit.
Evening meal was very much the same. Lots of cheeses but no idea what they were and no biscuits to have with them as an alternative to cake.
Not always signs on the foods to say what was veggie option which upset one or two people..
Bar drinks were Bombay Dry gin, Ron Bacardi etc. Estrella beer in small glasses and the fake Baileys was tasty. Very friendly staff especially Patricia. I quite liked the idea of charging €1 for plastic cups to make sure they were brought back to the bar to get the €1 back rather than them be littered around the pool area.
Evening entertainment was hit and miss and sometimes just music. Best night was the Wii fit bowling but that was probably because of the people involved. Friday night was a singer who never arrived. There were quizzes but my hubby is hard of hearing and struggled to understand what the rep was saying. A game of bingo had us arguing over what number had just been shouted out.
Lovely rooms, lovely staff. Just needs one or two tweaks to make it a good 4*

- Kate (8/5): Overall 9/10 - The hotel was nice and big, very clean.
Beds were very comfy.
Having the supermarket attached to hotel was a bonus, although it wasn’t the cheapest.
Also Nice and quiet :) Reception staff and bar staff could off been a bit more pleasant, very abrupt and not very forth coming with advice.
Lack of communication between reception staff also.

- LenF981 (8/5): Just needs a bit of a polish. - We came at the end of September for two weeks. Overall we hade a really nice and relaxing time. As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are quite dated and in need of an uplift, particularly the bathrooms. Although fully functional and of a good size they are a little dark and most metalwork somewhat tarnished. The infra red bathroom heaters were not functioning and I suspect that the hotel deemed it warm enough to assume they were not required. However, Sept/Oct mornings and evenings are a bit fresh!
We had a studio which was worth the extra cost as it gave us plenty of room to sit and relax away from the bedroom.
The tv in the ‘lounge’ area has only one English language Chanel, BBC world news. All other Chanel's are Spanish and German.
If self catering or half board etc., the kitchen area is well equipped but any extra requirements can be obtained from reception.
The bedroom has two 3’ beds side by side to form a double. The decor was somewhat unconventional in that the pictures were of sketches of naked women (also in the lounge/2nd bedroom)!
Plenty of hanging space and drawers.
Although Jet2 suggested there was no daytime or evening entertainment there actually was. Some provided by the in-house team and others by visiting acts.
The pools were well kept and there were plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The indoor pool was beautifully warm and the sauna and steam room were fully functional, as was the gym/fitness room. The Spa offered manicures and massages etc. as required.
The lounge bar was spacious and service was prompt. All inclusive drinks were a little disappointing. Ok, they were premium brands of spirits but limited to gin, whisky and vodka. Cocktails were pre-mixed. Anything off the list cost about €12. There was no option for all inclusive visitors to pay a little more to upgrade a drink. For example, cava was included, but to have a kir royal I.e. add a drop of cassis liqueur was not possible. But if you paid, it was €12. When queried, I was told it was because they served a superior cava!!! Not really the answer I wanted or expected.
The restaurant food. There was always plenty of choice at all meal times and dishes constantly replaced as necessary. Show cooking was a bit disappointing as generally unless you spoke to the chef, all meats and fish were well over cooked and dry. When I asked the chef to cook the thin cuts quickly he obliged and they were perfect. He seemed to think a crispy piece of meat is what was we wanted!
Wines were available on tap as was beer soft drinks and water.
Waiting staff were excellent and cleared away plates promptly and quietly.
A big thank you to Maria, Maria, Mohammed, Jorge and Carmen , Juanjo and Patricia the restaurant staff who served us so well. Additionally all the Chefs who listened and took on board all requests and suggestions.
The ‘in house’ supermarket was very well stocked and had nearly everything you would need if you needed to supplement your stay or were self catering. Fresh bread was always available.
Reception staff were happy, welcoming and ready to help.
Oh, of course there’s always a but!
The holiday was let down by only one area of staffing. Housekeeping. After 8 nights we had to ask for clean sheets. We were told they would be automatically changed every 3/4 nights. The, what I think were rubberised mattress protectors caused us to sweat quite a lot and most nights the sheets suffered, and the bottom sheet was always very crumpled. Housekeeping made the beds each day. I say made the beds. Yes they were very tidy on first inspection until you turned back the duvet to get into bed. The duvet was neat but the sheets were just as tangled and untidy as when you got up in the morning!. Wash basins were never wiped down and when the soap dispenser ran out I placed the emp unit in front of the basin but it was still there after the room was serviced. Sadly the floors were not swept and any thing that was accidentally left on the floor e.g. talcum powder, was still there days later.
Just as a tip for those who like a pillow menu, there isn’t one and the pillows are very firm!
With a few tweaks to the housekeeping, and show cooking and a little room updating this hotel could genuinely be a 4star hotel than one hanging by its fingertips to 3star. The HM group have a little jewel that now needs polishing.
The hotel is in a quiet location but only 6-7 minutes stroll to a lovely beach. It’s about mid way between Sa Coma centre and Cala Millor centre, both about a20 minute flat stroll.
- nathanstokes2017 (10/5): Brilliant stay - We stayed for 5 nights couldn't off asked for a better stay staff was super friendly and helpful. Location
- antekx13 (7/5): Dobry wybór, jeśli chcesz połączyć morze, naturę i spokój bez przepłacania. - Hotel położony w cichej okolicy, zdala od imprez, barów i sklepów. Około 10 minut spacerem do plaży Cala Millo. Czyste pokoje, wygodne materace dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania okolicy.
- pemimoDenmark (8/5): Nice stay - All in all a nice hotel. Could do with a little upgrade. Is looking a bit old in some places. Bathroom Kit hen ect. Location is fantastic though
- PeterR529 (8/5): A Gem of a place in so many ways - Just returned from a lovely stay at Mar Blau. Overall is was a very very good experience.
Staff were super friendly and accommodating and facilities were very good and in line with the star rating.
We found the broad European/Spanish food options very good and varied, however if you have a narrow taste pallet, it may come across as limited.
It's location for us was great with the beaches and resort of Cala Millor much closer to the hotel than those of Sa Como.
It's also located close to the main bus routes so also excellent for exploring further afield.
I'd highly recommend this hotel to those travellers who are rounded and knowledgeable of Spanish accommodation. - If it's steak pie and fish and chips you are after, this place I'm afraid is not for you.
- Escape766623 (10/5): Brilliant holiday - Read a lot of poor reviews but this hotel was amazing food really lovey maybe not much variety for children usual chips and pizza every day. Drinks at bar not a lot of choice depends on what you like but I bought a bottle of my favourite alcohol for 8euros and added it to my coke as they wanted 6 euros for one shot I did ask permission and bar person said it was ok so was happy. The room was a studio and was lovely clean lovely fitted kitchen with kettle and fridge hired the safe hairdryer in bathroom free internet . I couldn’t fault the staff only one miserable barman but other than him they were all lovely. I don’t normally go back to any hotels like to go to different places but would go back to here for a short break again as it was only a 2 hour flight.

- kelseyf508 (8/5): Single parent with 2 children - This was my first experience of travelling as a single parent. I felt very safe at the hotel, all the staff were lovely.
Rooms were very spacious, a little dated but we didn’t book a holiday to spend it in the room. It was kept clean, daily. I didn’t have an issues with noise, just the normal people coming in and out of their doors in the morning and evening.
We booked as bed & breakfast, there was lots of different food options.
The mini market shop on site was a life safer with the kids always wanting crisps, sweets and drinks. This really helped keep the cost down.
The pool snack bar’s food portions were huge! Good quality food too. Personally, by the looks of the all inclusive food, I was glad we only paid for bed and breakfast.
The pool was a nice size, quite cold until the mid day, opened at 9am and absolutely no issue getting a sun bed. There were some parts that were shaded all day though due to the trees but you soon got to know where those spots were.
Restaurants and bars were a 20-30 minute walk away from the hotel but were well worth it. Lots to choose from. Our top 3 favourite places to eat were Restaurante Maritimo, Café De La Mar and RESTAURANTE AMAPOLA BRASAS.
The beach was very pretty, also 20-30 minute walk but worth a visit.
Overall was a lovely family holiday.
- Gonzalez M (9/5): Estupendo!

- DebRobinson69 (6/5): Quite a nice holiday - All in all a lovely hotel. We only had the cleaner a couple of times during the week when we put the sign outside our door but on neither of those occasions were the floor swept or the toilet rolls replaced. There seem to be a fair few flies on the inside of the hotel. Lovely scenery in a nice area but quite far to walk to anywhere else. The supermarket on site was very minimal and you could tell that it was closing down as the shelves were pretty empty by the end of the week. They literally had nothing. All of the staff were as friendly as you would like them to be. The bar area was lovely tidy and clean. it was great that you could use the taxi app we found this very efficient.
- E5243PAchristopherk (6/5): Nice but needs updating the rooms - Hotel should be 3 star not 4 star, staff very nice. Friendly all of them..
hotel clean. Pool nice , Food very nice plenty of choice, entertainment not good
What let's the hotel down is rooms , had a studio very tired. Black mould ,shower taps loose on wall and water does not come out correctly , furniture needs taking to rubbish tip /replacing/recovering. Very worn on stool and bench. Room facilities
Tea poor weak tea and no coffee or milk in room which you expect in a 4 star ???
- johndoe005 (4/5): Be prepared for some problems - The hotel was okay, as other reviews mentioned, everything is a bit outdated, but that is not a problem at all. However, the roof started to leak on two occasions, once in the bathroom via the fire alarm/emergency light and once at the front door from the air conditioning. Speaking to the front desk did resolve the problem. But they seemed to expect this issue, which means that almost all rooms have this. No effort was made to explain to us why this is happening or give us options to change rooms. It felt like a home, but for the wrong reasons, where issues come up and it's okay to have it.
- Jayley4000 (10/5): Fantastic place - We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We were self catering and had a apartment. It was spotlessly clean. You had the option to upgrade to all inclusive at 55€ pp, per day. There is a supermarket on site and it is a nice walk in either direction to Cala Millor or Sa Coma. We would definitely stay again.
- OrsiFx (8/5): Review - Overall it was a great hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved, especially the bathrooms (we had ants in 2 of our rooms). The beds are worn out and not so comfortable. Other than that everything was great. The breakfast was a delicious with lots of options.
- Orsolya (8/5): - Great location, lovely staff, and delicious breakfast buffet. The rooms could have been cleaner, especially the bathrooms (we had ants in 2 of our rooms). The beds were not so comfortable.
- vioricar843 (10/5): A Dream Vacation at HM Mar Blau – Thank You from the Heart! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - We had a truly wonderful stay at HM Mar Blau from September 16th to 25th, and we would like to sincerely thank the entire team for making our vacation so special. Everything was perfect – from the professionalism of the staff to the attention to detail and the genuine care shown to all guests.
One of the most memorable moments was celebrating son’s 20th birthday during our stay. The warm welcome, thoughtful gestures, and personalized touches made that day unforgettable and deeply meaningful for us.
We’ve returned home with full hearts and a suitcase full of beautiful memories that we will cherish for a long time.
Thank you so much for everything – we truly hope to return one day!
- Arianna (9/5): Ottima esperienza - Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Servizi ottimi, stanza pulita. Posizione in zona tranquilla in una cittadina residenziale dell'isola. Perfetto per famiglie.
- Michelle (10/5): - Brilliant from start to finish, pool was lovely, friendly staff, epic breakfast buffet!
- Minibreaksuk (10/5): Review - Overall the rooms are a little dated and so are the bathrooms. BUT!! the public areas are well maintained and really clean. Restaurant is good, lots of variety and well managed.
Pool area very clean, good sunbeds etc. The staff are fabulous and that makes you overlook any minor issues. They are friendly, helpful, good sense of humour and always had service with a smile.

- AdrienneDavis2025 (10/5): Loved the stay - Hotel was clean and cool. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Would have been nice to get coffee and milk but cant complain. The pool hours were a bit odd and could definitely do with extending but the pools themselves were beautiful. Steam room and sauna were a nice addition. Overall really good stay.
- m6ncu (8/5): Great stay and a perfect location. - HM Mar Blau was a great hotel to stay in. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The room was very spacious and cleaned every day. The only issue was meal choices. It was very much the same choices each day, including theme nights that gave just a few changes. Regardless of this, I still managed to eat plenty each meal. It's a great location with the main areas of Sa Coma and Cala Millor just short walk away. We are hoping to book a further stay at this hotel in the near future.

- E8087QWmeganc (4/5): Long review - Extremely dissatisfied. - Myself and my partner went to HM Mar Blau in Sa Coma mid September 2025. We booked a package holiday with JET2, and paid £850pp for 6 nights all inclusive.
We were very dissatisfied with the room we were given, we were greeted with an instant Damp/Stale smell that literally choked you out when entering the room, tangled hairs all over the bed and an unstable fridge that all of our drinks had fallen out of. At this point it was 3am in the morning and we were too tired from our long day of travelling, so we took some pictures and went to bed hoping to get it resolved the next day. Following on from the previous night we had awoken to now a very well lit room that uncovered all of its features, including mould all along the curtains, scurtan boards and the AC unit. We had woken up with congested nose, itchy eyes and felt just generally under the weather from staying in this room for one night. My partner who works and professionalises in environmental hazards had gone down to reception to raise the concerns of the condition of our room, we were assured that the problems would be addressed and looked into. After breakfast there still wasn’t any sign of anyone so we had taken a shower, this was possibly the worst mistake we could have made. The bathroom absolutely flooded with water in which it went under the door and all the way into the bedroom, we spent an hour trying to clear up the water in which we had to use all the hotel towels provided and including our own just to get the amount of water up. As the floors were tile this had caused the room to be extremely slippery and had soaked all our belongings. We had gone down to reception mid day after this incident and reported it to the staff there, in which yet again they assured us a cleaner would be up to sort out any mess and replace towels along with a handyman to take a look at the shower. I can only assume this is why our room was covered in damp and mould. We had spent our whole first day waiting around on the balcony as the room was that unbearable to be in, for the cleaner and handyman to show up. In which to no surprise, they never did. For the 3rd time of the day now, around 5pm we had visited reception again and said no one had came up to the room and we needed showers and to not be in a damp room. So we had asked to be changed rooms, in which they declined and told us they’ll send someone up. So we went to dinner hoping it would be resolved when we go back up for the night, yet again no one had been and we had now wasted our whole day waiting around for someone to show. Feeling very defeated we had to suck it up and go to bed, feeling drained from the day, not had showered and felt under the weather from the mould. We both suffer with hayfever and allergies and couldn’t bare the runny nose and stinging eyes along with the putrid smell, we had to leave the balcony doors open just to get some air circulation which also just resulted in us getting bitten to death by bugs. My partner had gone down to reception one last time at around 10pm and point blank refused to sleep in the room and requested our room be changed, even then they were still reluctant, tried saying staff would be up and they couldn’t do anything about it until a manager was present that week. We had shown the staff the pictures of the state of the room and said we couldn’t deal with it any longer and would have to contact Jet2 if they couldn’t sort this for us. They then very very reluctantly set us up in another room, which was lovely, smelt fresh, clean bedding, no mould or damp, and a working shower. We couldn’t believe the improvement this room had on our current one. We were repeatedly told not to get too comfortable and we would have to go back into our original damp room the next morning when they could talk to a more senior member of staff. Having a better nights sleep in this room we just couldn’t settle for going back into such a disgusting room we were originally placed in so we contacted Jet2 ourselves, in which we had to send over endless pictures and videos as proof before they would even do anything. Nether the less, Jet2 had spoken to the hotel and we were posted in that room for the remaining few nights. Which our experience was a lot better with, it was just so unfortunate our stay had to start so negatively and setting such a low tone for our holiday which we paid good money for.
For a 4 star hotel, i wouldn’t personally rate it more than a 2.5, at a push a 3. The food was very average and covered in flies most of the time, you had to pay a deposit on plastic cups just to have a drink around the pool, which was annoying since you had to constantly keep track of your cups and end up having to pay more money if you had forgotten them or left them somewhere. The overall experience was pretty average in the end, but started off so badly and unpleasant.
On a positive note, Sa coma is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our time there, anytime that wasn’t spent in the hotel was lovely.
- Petronella (8/5): - Het ontvangst was vriendelijk.
- sml250 (8/5): Nice week in the sun - We have just had a lovely week here. The staff were all lovely. The room needed a new fridge but apart from that was very nice. The beds were really comfortable. I think the only thing that let the hotel down was the evening entertainment or lack off.
They only put on one live act during our week stay.
Overall a very nice relaxing week away.
- sarahgiblin2025 (10/5): Fantastic hotel - We visited this hotel for the 1st time for our little boy's 1st holiday and we absolutely loved it. Staff were really friendly, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Very clean & tidy. The reception area smells absolutely gorgeous when you walk in! Whatever it is i NEED some. Rooms are clean and bright, bedding, neds are very comfortable and fresh towels every day. Cot for the baby was there ready for us, we didnt need to ask with i thought was amazing as in other places we looked at you had to 'pre-order' one. Pool areas, restaraunt and bars were very clean, again staff were lovely. Handy shop on site for any bits of goodies or groceries you may need. The ladies who cleaned the room were very polite too, always said good morning. Location of the hotel was great too, close to the beach and the shops. We also hired a 4 seater bike from one of the local shops which was brilliant for getting around on. We will definately be staying in this hotel again. We cannot wait to return. Thank you for a fantastic holiday & for making our little boy's 1st holiday very special.
- cath20252025 (10/5): Week in Sept 2025 - Lovely hotel. Food was excellent. So much choice and variety day after day. Lots of different foods in smaller portions so you could try several things at each meal.
Plenty of room in restaurant, bar, at both inside and outside seating, and never any issues at all getting a sunbed.
Entertainment not really to my taste but there was something different on each night and there was also plenty to do during the day which you were invited to but never pressed into (pool, darts, aquafit, various things for the children there). There is also a table tennis table and a gym, a sauna and a very warm indoor pool. Short walk to the beach. Lovely room with fridge, kettle, hob and well equipped (even though we were AI). Wi-Fi great. All staff lovely throughout. Highly enjoyable, relaxing break.
- D3436URjamesb (10/5): Great stay friendly staff. - Lovely hotel, we read reviews after booking and saw people.complaining about how unclean their.rooms had been and how.many ants was in their rooms however, we saw none of this, when we arrived, our room.was clean and 2 bottles of water left for.us as we arrived in the early.hours.of the morning. Staf have been very polite and friendly and our rooms have been cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels.
We have had a few issues with the kettle however, staff have been very helpful and sent somebody with a new kettle straight away.
I couldn't really fault the hotel and staff and would happily return.
- adyrusuadrian (10/5): HM Mar Blau review - Good vacation, very gentle and caring stuff. Overall a very pleasant experience, thank you very much
- 476nicciw (8/5): Lovely week in September - Came home last weekend from a week here. Lovely hotel, the room was clean and the staff were lovely. Nothing was any trouble for the requests we made about the kettle being broken or help with local advice.
We were self catering so didn't try any food here. The Spar shop inside is fairly priced too a great little facility to save a walk.
The indoor pool was lovely to use daily if you dont want to swim outside, as was the sauna.
The only downside was the distance to walk to Cala Millor or Sa Coma as you are literally between the two, but a bike is only €11 for the whole day and very cheap compared the other bike hire shops. but, dont let that put you off, there is plenty to see along the way.
- woodywoodpecks (10/5): Lovely hotel in a great location - Situated between Sa Coma and Cala Millor this hotel was perfect for our stay we found the hotel was very clean, excellent staff and handy onsite shop. Excellent safari zoo nearby and horse riding just next door had a lovely scenic evening ride along the coast. Plenty more to do nearby. Would recommend the Kings Head for food drinks and entertainmet great friendly staff! Resort felt very safe no rowdy groups very chilled out place for families. We would definitely return. 5 star.
- S3136OAjuliaf (8/5): Great value - Lovely staff, rooms felt outdated, plenty of breakfast options. Wifi was not very consistent. Wish we could have gotten a real bed instead of 2 twin beds with wheels.
- cristinagapuz2025 (6/5): Massage service - We arrange for a massage service- it was arranged on a different date, requested for a woman massager send a man instead, the massager seems in experienced
- W6812XOolivias (8/5): 4 Nights - Stayed all inclusive here for 4 nights 5 days. Is a good hotels with the entertainment staff being so friendly and enthusiastic, the food is good, breakfast being the best meal out of the 3. If you have an allergy you may struggle however, did notice the chef walking around with guests telling them what’s safe for them but food isn’t always labelled. The rooms are okay, could do with a bit of a refresh but generally have everything you need & the beds are super comfortable. All the staff I had encounters with were lovely and friendly.
The pool area is also lovely, edges of the pool could do with new gutters and some tiles are missing (but that’s just me being observant)
2 local beaches are in walking distance both very lovely, with some nice bars on the way, local shops and lidi not far as well.
Good running/walking routes around the hotel, the gym is small but has rower, treadmill, bike, free weights and a smith machine, can’t fit more that 4 people in there comfortably though.
Overall would stay again, no longer that 4 nights unless doing B&B as a personal preference to go out to try new food.
Thanks X
- kathrinelaktina (4/5): Definitely not 4 stars hotel - We were surprised that during our stay room wasn’t cleaned even once. The cleaner visited and made our bed but didn’t clean floors. We had hair, sand everywhere. Bathroom was smelling bad by 4 days and ants came to our room because it was so dirty.
Had no soap for dishes or sponge, didn’t have towel for feet. Wardrobe was smelling old and terrible from the first minute we entered our room.
Food was nice, not a huge variety though
Staff is nice but slow, made us sign million documents on arrival at 3am
- supervasc0 (10/5): A really noce one - The experience was so good, that in the next time I go to Maiorca I will definitely choose HM Mar Blau
- denisetW4071UE (8/5): Great holiday - Stayed for 10 nights from 7th to 16th September, on arrival the staff were very welcoming & friendly as they were every time we asked them anything
The apartment was what you would expect from a Spanish hotel & was clean & comfortable, we had a little kitchen area which has a kettle & small hotplate plus crockery & cutlery
There is a supermarket on site which stocks a wide range of products & the staff in there are lovely too, it's about a 10 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful & shops
The whole area is lovely & very well looked after
We had an absolutely fantastic holiday at Mar Blau & would definitely return
Alles kostet extra: Safe 3 Euro pro Tag, Badetuchwechsel 2 Euro pro Tag.
- 582joane (6/5): HM Mar Blau - good size bedrooms with comfy beds. we were in a suite and had separate living room with comfy sofas & TV. lots of wardrobe space, fridge, kettle and oven if needed. safe was with 25 Euro deposit fully refunded. Towels were 10 euros again refunded.
Pool area clean and lots of Sun Beds. no towels allowed on before 10am so that was brilliant.
We stayed B/B it was ample food and everything you could want.
We had Lunch from the snack bar on one occasion which was enormous and really one meal could feed two people to be honest it was lovely food.
We walked to Sa Coma beach which was amazing but was a long walk so if you have problems with walking then get a Taxi for 10 euros it's so worth it.
Beautiful Island will deffo return.
- 938nathanielc (8/5): Excellent stay - exceeded both of our expectations - Overall mine and my partners stay at this hotel was far better than we had expected. Before travelling we had read reviews and were quite worried due to some negative reviews. However this hotel exceeded our expectations.
We arrived at the hotel as 2pm and our room was ready straight away. This was a really bonus as we had been travelling since 3am and allowed us to feel welcomed right away.
The hotel as a whole was very clean and our room was also cleaned each day. The room was also very spacious however the bathroom was dated and could potentially do with some slight renovations.
The room had a kitchenette however we did not need this as we were all inclusive.
The all inclusive food was a bit mixed with some options feeling repetitive. Especially as my partner is more of a picky eater sometimes there were limited options. However the quality of the food was very good for an all inclusive buffet. As well as this the drinks options were also good, with a range of pre-made cocktails which we enjoyed throughout the holiday.
The hotel gym was not as shown on the photos so I am not sure if this has been updated since we booked the hotel. However the gym itself wasn’t too bad - with a smith machine and dumbbells for weights and some cardio equipment.
The pool was not as big as it looked on photos and was cold across the whole day, however, it was big enough to enjoy throughout our holiday. There were more than enough sun beds which you were told to not reserve before 10am. At the beginning of our holiday this seemed to be what people were doing but towards the end of our stay people seemed to be reserving them from not much after 9am. Nothing was really done about this.
We visited Cala Millor most days as it was a 20 minute walk to the centre, as well as being 10 minutes from the sea. Overall a perfect location for me and my partner.
All the staff were really friendly especially the staff working behind the bar and in the restaurant. One thing to note is that if you have a late flight you have to pay €30 to keep your room till 3pm and then €50 to keep your room until 6pm. There are showers in the spa but they were not great however did the job. The lady on reception stated that our room was not available on our last day so we could not extend the room, however she didn’t even know our room number so this was our only negative experience with the staff in the hotel.
Overall a really great stay and would visit again.
- lucywD4160YH (8/5): Hotel and surrounding areas lovely, watch out for lifeguard! - Hotel and staff are lovely, good location and well equipped rooms. Food is standard for all inclusive but still nice with lots of options. Entertainment staff are lovely and very enthusiastic! Lifeguard for the pool lets the hotel down, the older lady is incredibly miserable and perhaps should not have a job that requires her to sit by the pool if she is going to shout at you for splashing her, which was of course is inevitable being sat poolside. She was also less than pleased when others were jumping in the pool and felt no way about showing the disgust on her face. Due to her apparent fear of water I am not at all convinced she would jump in and help if a pool user was in any difficulty.
- neildoran2025 (8/5): Holiday Sep 2025 - The hotel and staff were really good. I've seen some reviews regarding the food in the restaurant but cannot agree fully with the negative ones, the food was varried and generally excellent, good choices and plenty of it. if something ran out, we asked the staff and it was replaced with fresh. We are not fussy eaters and will generally try anything.
The rooms are a little dated but were always clean, as was the rest of the hotel. without exception all of the satff were friendly and heplful. Reception, Entertainment, Bar Staff, restaurant Staff and Cleaning Staff all contributed to making our stay enjoyable and memorable.
A big thanks to you all.
- Nika (10/5): -
- anadumbrava08 (10/5): Excellent - Very happy overall with all the services.
Clean, friendly staff, and nice facilities.
We enjoyed our staying.
- sharonsavage67 (10/5): Family holiday - Amazing place and made to feel welcomed with Amazing staff great food all day amazing choice very clean comfortable rooms cleaned every day 😀
- Trail27784157807 (8/5): Good stay with friendly staff - Mar Blau was my first ever experience at all inclusive. The hotel was welcoming, the staff were all great and the facilities were good. The gym is small, if you’re a big gym user, it has a few machines and some weights and limited space if there are more of you in there than 3 to do a workout. I used it a few times but ended up going to runs every morning instead. The local areas is beautiful, with a lovely 5 k loop of your doorstep up through the nature park to the castle at the top and back which gave great views of both bays. The area for a woman running on her own was safe - lots of other runners out so I never felt worried. The food was good, I’m a veggie and it was sometimes a bit difficult to know if food had meat in as it was not always so well labelled. But the options were good at every meal. The pool was also good - a big pool not too deep as they did a class in it every lunch time but ok for swimming and cooling off - lots of selection of sun beds and no mad run in the morning to get a good spot (which I’ve seen of tik tok and I was slightly concerned about). There were lots of activities too both during the day and night. The evening entertainment was mixed, and the daily entertainment, although I didn’t take part, looked fun and the staff were energetic. The local beach is a 6 minute walk, again I went on my own some times and felt safe. The water was so clear and loads of fish just there along the rocky shore. Overall, the stay was relaxing and the clientele were really varied which I loved.
- Rannveig Helen (5/5): - Spacious apartment and veranda. Quiet area. When we arrived the cups and some of the cutlery in the apartment were dirty (unwashed). We traveled in a group, the dishes in the other apartments were also dirty. There was no dish soap or sponge to wash with. The apartment was a bit run down. We could hear a lot of noises from the hall and neighboring rooms. The beds were not so good for our backs... The air-conditioning could not be adjusted and it was freezing cold, so we had to cut the power by removing the key card at night to be able to sleep without getting cold and sick. The shower was not working well and the shower wall had a leak and made a puddle on the floor.

- 746lynnep (6/5): We were a multi generational group of 4 adults and 3 children. We'd booked together. Our rooms were 3 floors apart! - We had a late arrival and nothing was available and our rooms were not as we'd hoped.
Our sheets were changed once during our stay, on our last night!
Despite the signs, sunbeds were reserved with towels from early morning, and then not used!
- Cassie2323 (8/5): Average stay - Myself and a friend payed £500 for room only for 4 nights at this resort. The room was ok in size and had cooking facilities however the hub was small and slow, took a lot longer to cook. The fridge was constantly leaking and the staff just put towels down. The shower would also leak and wasn’t very powerful. Room was cleaned but didn’t feel like a deep clean at all. Pool was very small and freezing cold so very rarely went in. Location was quiet with a 20-30 minute walk to nearest town so wasn’t too bad if you don’t mind walking. Nice stay but probably wouldn’t return to this hotel.
- Nikolay (6/5): - Zimmerreinigung könnte besser sein
- Garrett Keatings (10/5): - Air con brilliant, rooms so quiet with everything you need. Pool area lovely with plenty of beds. Would stay again!
- Leonardo (9/5): Una settimana a Maiorca.
- Lilia Andrea (4/5): -
- Ann-Sofie (8/5): -
- Ombretta (8/5): - Il Ping pong Palestra troppo piccola
- Inspiration736860 (10/5): Great stay, excellent location and service - We had a great stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, the hotel is very comfortable, and the service was very good. Everything went smoothly and we really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended!
- Sightseer25628393910 (6/5): OK - Could be improved:
- Hotel spa showers where we had to shower on the last day had no doors and no privacy
- There was no late checkout available
- The rooms were run down
- The beds were uncomfortable
- The room floor was rarely swept, covered in dirt and sand. I asked for a brush so I could do it, but they would not give me one
- Always short on towels, rarely given 4 (for 4 people in room)
- Gym was poor, very hot, hardly any equipment
Done well
- Great food
- Nice clean pool
- Very polite, helpful restaurant and bar staff
- Lots of sun beds
