• KmDUKIC (10/5): Very Impressed. Loved the Private Villa's, the Restaurant and the Staff. - This place was a perfect end to our time in Bali. We wish we had a few more days here to relax and unwind. All the staff were wonderful, from Reception, to the Porters, Food and Beverage Staff and the Groundsmen. We ate mostly at the restaurant, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had two Celiacs in the group, and finding they had a separate gluten-free menu just for them was a treat. Nothing we did not like.

The resort’s restaurant , Groove, serves delicious , quality local food too. Resort provides complimentary common washing machine and dryer. Complimentary transport to Seminyak Village ( mall and street shopping , cafes, restaurants) and to Seminyak beach as well. If you sign up for the in house massage which is at Anantara Legian, transport would be provided too. But the massage is not great. Quiet , pleasant , very clean, comfortable place. We would like to thank Jaya, Wira, Nyoman Suwarjana, Dewa , for their warm , friendly hospitality. Also thanks to Yeny from reservation who started contacting us to confirm our stay, took of flight details, bed preference plus provided us with all the necessary information required to enter Bali. Appreciate it. A great team , always greeting us with smiles .

• Judith (10/5): To sum up our Stay Fabulous Very Happy - Lovely Service from all staff in all departments with happiness and smiles couldn't fault them So willing to help us. The rooms were a good size with every thing in the kitchen you need ,Plus 2large bottles of water for kitchen plus 2 small bottles of water for bathroom daily. A laundry equipped with serval washers and dryers plus laundry power. a buggy that if you phone 0 will pick you up to take you to Breakfast ,Pool or Reception area's as it is a long walk . Softer Mattress as I found it a Bit firm. Also a few more Power points for our use.

From the moment I arrived, the warmth and honesty of the staff stood out — especially the team member who assisted with my bags. I had mistakenly tipped in the wrong currency, and to my surprise, he came back to clarify and return it. Such integrity is rare and speaks volumes about the calibre of the team at Avani. The reception team, as always, was incredibly accommodating. I had several delays and changes during this trip, and they handled everything with patience, grace, and sincere hospitality. I felt completely taken care of, even while pushing the boundaries of flexibility. And of course, the restaurant team — absolutely fantastic. They always go the extra mile, and this time was no exception. From warm greetings to preparing special requests, they made every meal feel like a personalized experience. • ECFoodNTravels (10/5): Wonderful pool villa (4.5/5) - We loved this boutique resort hotel booked through the GHA app. The entrance and lane leading to the hotel could easily be missed, but once within the premises, hotel guests will discover a number of delightful pool villas, rooms and apartments. Titanium status was recognised: early check-in; complimentary breakfast; welcome fruit platter; complimentary afternoon tea; late checkout (but we didn’t need it); room upgrade (but we didn’t want the three-bedroom pool apartment). We really liked our two-bedroom pool villa which was surrounded by lots of greenery. There was a very nice lap pool, and the rooms were well-appointed, spacious and quiet. There was also a small living room-cum-dining area, with a kitchenette. The villa was self-contained and would be perfect for a small family or even a small group of friends. Breakfast at Groove cafe overlooking the main swimming pool was decent enough, with à la carte local and western dishes, in addition to a small buffet spread. However, the croissants were definitely not the buttery and flaky ones most travellers are familiar with. For this reason, and because we also sampled some other items, you could easily skip the afternoon tea, especially if you have a tight schedule. Staff were friendly, obliging and attentive throughout the hotel: Dewa, Suardana, Andika, Frida, Inn, Raka and Juni. The housekeeping team also did an excellent job. The Avani Seminyak is a very pleasant boutique hotel and resort that would be perfect for those who simply want some peace and quiet to rest/recuperate, or relax and chill. On the other hand, shops, cafes and restaurants are also within walking distance or just a short drive away (via ride-hailing apps Grab or Gojek). Various tours can also be arranged through the hotel. Highly recommended!

• GrandTour657281 (10/5): The Best Service We Experienced in All of Bali! - My partner and I stayed at the Avani Seminyak in September 2025 and had the best experience ever! The service we received was, without a doubt, the best of our entire trip across Bali. To start with the location, it is extremely convenient for anyone visiting Seminyak for shopping, given its close proximity to various commercial areas. The hotel also makes exploring easy by providing a free shuttle service to and from the beach at three different times. The resort itself is beautiful, featuring well-maintained gardens, a great restaurant, a gym, a swimming pool, and even a self-service laundry facility. Our accommodation was spacious, quiet, airy, clean, and technologically well-equipped, providing the perfect retreat. The hospitality from the staff was simply impeccable from the very first moment. Upon arrival, we were offered a welcome drink and snack while they thoroughly explained the resort's operations, including schedules, facilities, breakfast options, tours, and the surrounding area. We were truly impressed that everyone, from the reception team to the gardeners, called us by our names right away. Luggage and guests are brought to the accommodations via a convenient internal shuttle. We want to give special recognition to the team members who made our stay unforgettable. We were exceptionally well received by Frida, Agus, and Aldo at the reception desk upon our arrival, and Wita and Juni were always available to assist us at other times. The entire restaurant team, housekeeping staff, the gardener Nyoman, and the rest of the team also deserve high praise for their kindness and dedication. Much of our exceptional experience is owed to Frida, for whom we are extremely grateful! She was proactive and helpful in countless ways, assisting us every time our Grab drivers struggled to locate the hotel and always giving us excellent local tips. She constantly checked in to ensure everything was going well, and she truly went above and beyond on our last day. Our flight home was close to midnight, and our check-out was scheduled for the morning. We assumed we would have to spend the day exploring or trying to find a cool spot to wait. Instead, without us having to ask or pay for anything extra, Frida offered to store our luggage, allowed us to use all the resort facilities (pool, gym, restaurant) throughout the day, and even arranged an unoccupied room for us to take a final shower before heading to the airport. The service offered truly exceeded all expectations. We sincerely hope the hotel recognizes its employees, as they are rare gems! We will definitely recommend the Avani Seminyak to friends and family and - if we return - this is exactly where we will stay again!

The beach is driving distance, easily reached by Grab or with the hotel’s daily shuttle service. The hotel restaurant is excellent but there are also many delicious restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in a room with a private pool, and it was such a nice space to relax and enjoy.

Impressive quality of service. - As others have mentioned, the absolute stand out feature of this property is the genuine, warm welcome and professionalism of ALL the staff: reception, restaurant, housekeeping, garden team. Without fail, they made me feel special, welcome, important and they were there to make your stay enjoyable. On this basis alone, the resort deserves top marks. The property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The free laundry facilities is a nice touch (i counted 6 washers and 6 dryers). A few comments of note. The property is secluded, hidden away from the beach which gives it a very quiet, remote feel, despite being in busy Seminyak. That being said there is no meaningful view from the rooms. The property is long and narrow. I think the stand out rooms are the villas which have private pools and are closest to reception . i stayed in an Apartment which was very spacious and has a private terrace but to note that it is a fairly long walk from reception past all the private villas to the Apartment wing. The main pool is relatively small, but rarely busy as people in the villas have their own private pool. There are no doubt more luxurious properties in Seminyak - but you wont find anywhere with such attentive and friendly staff.

The room was spotless, and the bedding was fresh and clean. I especially want to compliment Nurasa, who helped me with both check-in and check-out. • schumachermc (10/5): AVANI resort vacation in Bali - Our stay at AVANI was excellent. We stayed at AVANI for 7 nights. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable. We swam in the pool several times and had drinks and food by the pool. The temperature was warm in the pool and it was very refreshing and relaxing. There was free laundry facilities, it was close walk to stores and restaurants. The walk to the beach was about 10-15 minutes, close to 1 mile. The sunset at the beach was divine. Everyone was out there flying kites. It was so beautiful and peaceful and the clouds were just lovely. The best part of our stay at AVANI was the customer service. Each and every staff member went out of their way to smile, say hello and any requests we asked for they were so accommodating. The food was excellent at the restaurant there on the premises. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were great. I got an iced latte almost everyday. It was delicious! Thank you AVANI for the incredible service and stay!

Rooms are very large and always clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to friends and family. The location is also great - steps away from the busy area of Seminyak but the property itself is peaceful.

From the absolutely sweet Frieda, Aldo, Rama Vijaya and Sri. I wish i could mention all their names. We were so touched and impressed when my son fell ill during early parts of one morning and the reception arranged for a doctor to reach our room in under 30 minutes. We had a one bedroom pool villa for eight nights. The room was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate in returning.

• nealb795 (8/5): A lovely place to stay. - The Avani hotel is located at the end of leafy lane just off one of the main thoroughfares in Seminyak. Its secluded position makes it ideal for some tranquil down time. The staff are very welcoming and eager to make sure your stay is the best it can be. The villas are well appointed and offer plenty of privacy. Outside the villas the lane is bordered by some well stocked and maintained flower beds. These are a testament to Neuman, the gardener, and his teams care and attention. All in all, the Avani is a lovely place to stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast were abosulely gorgeous. All the staff really made us feel great and special mention to the buggy driver Juni and plump guy (sorry don't know his name) and Alfred at the restaurant. Juni was especially helpful when we were locked out of our room and he tried all means to help us to gain access to our villa. Generally Avani helps to enhance our holday while in Bali which in itself is a fantastic holiday destination.

• s0niabr0wn (10/5): Fabulous authentic resort - Love this resort. We stayed here for 2 separate weeks in April, first time in a 1 bed pool villa (just 2 of us) and second time in a 2 bed pool villa and were joined by our friend and her granddaughter (Miss 6). The villas are pavilion style with the living in the middle of the space with the pool running the full length between the bedrooms/ensuites which are at either end. We spent hours in the pool at the villa and at the resort pool, often we were the only ones there, was like having the place to ourselves, although the resort was pretty full, but it’s very spacious. The villas are slightly tired but they are so authentic it doesn’t matter and they are well maintained. We self catered our breakfasts and some lunches, the villa was well setup for this, yet there is a lovely restaurant /bar in the resort too, if you feel so inclined. It is also easy walking distance to Seminyak Main Streets. CircleK convenience store next door and Bintang Supermarket about 10-15 minute walk or quick ride. Great little restaurants nearby (5-10min stroll) too. The staff are awesome and were very helpful and friendly, always lovely greetings as we came and went. Thank you all for helping make our holiday so wonderful. The resort is down a very long drive so it is very peaceful even though you are so close to lots of busy-ness Only negative, we’d have preferred only 2 sunloungers at the 2 bed villa plus an outdoor table and 4 chairs instead of 4 sunloungers, but this is just being picky.
• ange_kong (10/5): Wonderful Bali resort - We stayed in the beautiful spacious two-bedroom apartment for 5 nights and had the most wonderful family holiday! Instead of the usual buffet breakfast offered by most resorts, this resort had ala-carte breakfast menu that turned out to be even better than buffet style. We looked forward to choosing from the wide variety of breakfast options each morning - even gluten-free ones. Every dish was prepared with perfection and we loved having great coffee, fresh juice and delicious breakfast right in front of the pool. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. No request was too difficult for them - from preparing boxed breakfast sets at 6am one early morning, calling our Gojek driver to ensure he picks us up directly from the resort lobby, to making restaurant reservations for us. They would even help us with our laundry if we were going out for the day! We felt like royalty with the way the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Special mention to Dewa, Juni, Frida, Anggun and several others at Avani. Their customer service was impeccable and made our stay at Avani a very enjoyable one!

Shared spaces were equally comfortable and relaxing. What impressed us the most was the warm hospitality of every staff member, they made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. While not beachfront, the hotel offers a peaceful, private villa-style experience that feels truly Balinese. Shuttle service to the airport, beaches, and malls made everything seamless. We loved dining in our suite and had a fantastic private BBQ dinner organized by the staff. Speaking of staff — they were all incredibly friendly and made us feel completely at home. Highly recommend for families looking for a quiet, cozy, and personal stay in Bali. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

• 991dorist (10/5): Nicely appointed apartment, warm & helpful staff, close to nice restaurants and spas - Had a relaxing and pleasant stay at their 2-bedroom suite, which was bright clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. All of the staff are consistently warm, gracious & helpful, specially the ever-smiling Jaya, Wira and Nyoman at front desk, all the restaurant wait staff and staff who assisted in our Indonesian cooking lesson, and Gus Adi who delivered our room service breakfast. Resort address is walking distance to a number of small spas and a gem of a small restaurant, Hibiscus. The beach is a short drive away. I would highly recommend this resort for a lovely stay in Bali.

The privacy and private pool are definitely highlights of the hotel, and the service staff are incredibly friendly and willing to assist with any queries. However, the hotel is a bit run-down, with issues like peeling paint on the walls, a faulty rain shower, and dirty water in the gym.

Our request was accepted and made the necessary arrangements ASAP. Booking.com is misleading by posting its a 5 star property which it is not so should not expect a 5 star facility or arrangement. Breakfast was not buffet. Food was ok but there are better cafes nearby. Too many mosquitos and bathroom water stinks sometimes.
