• Olivier (10/5): J'ai passé 3 nuits excellentes à Kakis B & B - Les chambres sont spatieuses, propres avec un lit confortable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le personnel sympathique. L'endroit est calme, bien situé dans la ville. Et la ville (Sigulda) est un bon point d'ancrage pour visiter les châteaux autour, Riga, Cesis et le parc national de Gauja

• mrcaes (8/5): Nice, but little old - The staff were friendly. There is free parking. The place is pleasant and centrally located. The room was clean. The Wi-Fi works well. Breakfast was a typical buffet but it was good; you can always find something you like. The room was clean, but a bit dated (I’d put on white duvets and sheets to give it a cleaner, more neutral look). I’d upgrade the pillows and mattresses, they need some actualisation. The rooms are above a bar/pub, so it can be a bit noisy (but it closes at 11 pm, so we didn’t have any problems). The rooms are poorly soundproofed; you could hear the neighbour’s shower and toilet. It’s true that the bathroom smelled awful. In our case, we sorted it out ourselves: you have to let the water run (5–10 mins) and air the room thoroughly; the smell went away. (They should be careful and do this themselves before welcoming guests).

Numuriņā pieejama arī elektriskā tējkanna un ledusskapītis. Pieejama arī bezmaksas autostāvvieta. Nebija kur piesieties.

Todien ārā bija drēgns,lietains auksts laiks. Numuriņā nebija apsilde,bet tā mazliet parādījās rīta pusē,arī ūdens bija ilgi jātecina,lai nāktu vismaz mazliet silts.Ūdens dušā prasījās siltāks,arī TV nerādīja nevienu kanālu.

• Remei24 (9/5): - Mucha amabilidad. Como iba fuera de temporada y el hotel estaba vacío, me dieron una habitación muchísimo mejor. Me dejaron dejar la mochila unas horas antes del check-in. Llegué antes de la hora del check-in y no conseguía encontrar el sitio (está en la misma cafetería) y cuando entré no nos entendíamos bien y me mandaban a otro sitio. Pero no pasa nada!

• Antoinette (7/5): - Location was in walking distance to restaurants, the castle, and cable car. They were also able to provide me with a cot for my child. Room needed to be updated. Breakfast was just okay. Not many options and was pretty picked over when we arrived to eat around 8am. There are plenty of other breakfast options that are walkable from the place.

Das war uns bewusst, und wir hatten auch nicht erwartet, bereits einchecken zu können. Wir wollten lediglich unser Gepäck abstellen, um die Umgebung erkunden zu können. Leider war der Empfang nicht besonders herzlich. Das Erste, was wir hörten, war, dass wir zu früh seien und noch nicht einchecken könnten. Schließlich durften wir unser Gepäck problemlos dort lassen, was sehr hilfreich war. Dennoch hätte ein freundlicherer Empfang und ein Lächeln einen deutlich besseren ersten Eindruck hinterlassen. Nach diesem Moment war das Personal deutlich freundlicher, vermutlich war es bei unserer Ankunftszeit im Restaurant gerade etwas stressig. Trotzdem hätten wir uns gewünscht, etwas wärmer willkommen geheißen zu werden, damit man sich von Anfang an wohlfühlt.
