• Werner (10/5): Allein die HI ist ein Grund, wieder nach Edmonton zu kommen - Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist das erste, das man registriert. Erfreut stelle ich fest, dass es mehrere Aufenthaltsräume gibt neben dem grossen im Erdgeschoss. Es war alles perfekt sauber, ich fühlte mich sofort wohl und bedauerte, dass ich nur für eine Nacht hier. Besonders hat mir gefallen, dass nicht nur Empfehlungen für Restaurants am schwarzen Brett waren, sondern auch Beschreibungen für den ÖV - wie komme ich zum Flughafen. Das habe ich noch nie gesehen - und es hat mir sehr geholfen (die Bushaltestelle ist vor der Zahnklinik etc.) Da fällt mir gar nichts ein. Denn an der schlechten Anbindung des VIA-Bahnhof ist die HI weder schuld noch kann sie etwas daran ändern.

• Angus (3/5): - The staff was great . The amenities were great. But i was physically attacked by another guest. And the room should have a camera. Very dangerous. My recommendation would be do not book in a group dorm as its very unsafe . Especially if youre a male. If youre not used to a prison atmosphere stay away from that situation The front desk staff / the common areas and the shared kitchen

• Georgia (8/5): - An ideal little hostel. Comfy clean beds, bathrooms were exceptionally clean, nice and quiet in the evenings. Free parking.
• Shereine (9/5): Definitely come back again - The place was clean with friendly staff, they were very flexible and helpful whenever I needed to make changes to my stay or whenever I needed to get a service from the reception. The place is close to so many restaurants and bus stops which is convenient for anyone new in town. It's also very close to downtown and almost everything is within walking distance.
• Viacheslav (10/5): - This is my second time staying here, always friendly staff and great location near the bus stop. The bed is a little firm, but for the price it's a good option.
• TESSA (10/5): Great stuff! - Comfortable and clean, beautiful equipped kitchen and lots of various common and study areas for most travelling needs! Very top notch hostel! I would revisit 100% Hot and clean little showers in the separate shared bathrooms, comfy beds and pillows and the towels provided were soft and nice too. Hallways can be a little noisy, but hostel protocol is to bring headphones anyways, and if you forget, the front desk give you free earplugs. Also send a note if you'll be arriving late as there is a need to have your keycard if you will be needing entrance to the building after 11pm.

• Roger (6/5): My stay @ HI Edmonton Hostel - Nice neighborhood, proximity to Whyte Ave, cheap laundry, budget friendly accommodations. Staff seemed cold, no privacy, snoring dorm mates. Had to use ear plugs to block it out. The dorm room didn't fully close; you have to apply firm pressure to close it. The water dispenser in the kitchen isn't cold, mediocre, and highly used utensils and kitchenware. I ordered food throughout my stay. Also, the vending machines are overpriced, and the washrooms are smelly. The establishment doesn't accommodate individuals with an Edmonton ID. However, in my instance, they made an exception.

• Denise (8/5): Sehr praktisch und günstig - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und man ist innerhalb von wenigen Minuten auf der Hauptstraße. Auch mit Bus und Band ist man innerhalb von 15 min bei größeren Einkaufsstraßen und Arenen. Es gab kostenlose Müsliriegel und Porridge am Morgen und immer einen wochenplan was so gerade ansteht. Es gab sehr günstige Möglichkeiten seine Wäsche zu waschen.

• TCHUMA (9/5): Thank you - I like the atmosphere , the location and definitely, the staff are very helpful and hospitality wise oriented. The facility is clean and well maintained, and the kitchen is clean and welcoming with the smell of different aroma. The bunk bed idea, it is not for me and for my comfort, however I am fortunate to be the only occupant of the bunk. I am grateful for that and thank U universe .

• ilona (8/5): Bien - Lit confortable, auberge calme, bien situé, propre. Et on a le droit à une barre de céréales et des gruau le matin. Les rideaux de douche ne sont pas très propres et le jet d'eau très très fin.

It was off season and there wasn't a lot of guests so was able to get a room to myself for a fraction of the cost of a hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Soap dispenser in the ladies dorm washroom was busted, but I'm used to bringing my own. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were clean though.

• Teresa (7/5): A bit noisy with fire trucks first night…second nite blissful cool with rain and I slept well! - SUPER Staff great, called taxis for me, helpful,xtra blanket no problem, super attentive, kitchen great some people leave a bit of a mess, but overall everything you need is there! Note for me the scarved Islamic women talked too way loud in hallways, with other Arabic staff. Know from going to Egypt the culture seems to talk too loud for me. L O L! Being self aware….reminder perhaps their are not so many people aro7bd…no need for everyone to hear them talk. Nice ladies with softer voices would be much appreciated. Some other organizing their trip couple upstairs in a meeting room on left off stairs…were yakking yakking and yakking until 4am. My window was open because it’s hot….it required me to crawl out of bunk, and go and ask them to please shut the 2 doors if they are going to talk lol night, it was awful. However the woman was csincerely aplogetic and they were very quiet after….thank you….sadly they were just self absorbed. Should maybe just have a note with images….on public area doors of rooms encouraging guests and residents…. to close the door if they decide to talk and chat and stay up late. Sound travels very well down halls. I will bring ear plus next time! Great place great staff lovely guests and I will be back. Hope u accept my feedback.. cheers! All stated above
