All.... what can i say not well organized & very bad service should improve & train all the staff in a proper way to entertain a guest not other way that is rude & never say sorry to guest at all it's a very bad manner,make short & simple my first & the last support HARRIS RESORT BARERANG,cos the service,food & others is very poor not like Batam & Waterfront HARRIS 100% good thumbs 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 but there's one staff very young boy name by Dalfa if im not wrong, from day 1 till i check out he very humble & polite always say sorry behalf of the resort,this type of staff we need more get it?!
angie (6/5): A good place for family bonding. - Private beach with beach activities. Dalfa at the reception is very kind and helpful. He introduced me to ASR membership that Harris is under. Jetski and ATV is the hightlight. No banana boat sadly. Buggy service is provided even to Barelang seafood. It is a wonderful experience. First time experience, a bolster is provided in the hotel.😄 Very good. Love the breakfast provided. Plenty to choose. A great start to start the day fuel up. Air con noisy is very loud. Woke up with a headache the next day. Air con remote could only reflect fan speed adjustment but the noisy levels remains high even the fan was adjusted to the lowest. All other buttons could not be used for any other settings. Feedback from the reception that all the rooms are the same. Basically, just ON and OFF button could be used. Shower water pressure is on the low side for the twin bed room. Plenty of mosquitoes in the room. Property did not reply ALL my messages about Shuttle bus arrangement from Batam Ferry terminal. It was quite a disappointment for us prior to the trip planning. It could be quite a headache if you are not familar with this new place. Booking.com said they forwarded the message to the property but there was no respond or follow up from the property either. Cooler provided is not cold enough. providing a mini fridge is a better option.

Bernhard (8/5): - The location of the Hotel is great. The outside area is well arranged and clean and close to the beach. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The breakfast is a little costly but offers a lot of varieties. The hotel has 2 restaurants. A traditional food one in the main building and western food one at the pool side. Both restaurants don't offer kids menus even the entire hotel is designed for kids. We weren't able to get French fries in the traditional restaurant as French fries to their definition belongs to western food. This kind of food policy seems to be unfriendly to kids. Furthermore the electric systems in the traditional restaurant and as well as in the garden/pool area has numerous damaged/open junction boxes. This is especially for kids a serious safety issue. Electrical safety needs to be improved significantly!

Front office is neat, staff are courteous but more training needed. Housekeepers did a good job for the bed, but one of the rooms we booked has cold shower only, took 1 hour for them to rectify the problem. Egg Station has long queue has only one staff mending. Food is cold.

RAHIMAN (10/5): Ok , - Started the morning with an excellent buffet spread – everything was fresh, well-prepared, and offered a wide variety to choose from. What made the experience even better was being warmly greeted by the friendly staff, who made us feel welcomed right from the start. A truly great way to begin the day! The General Manager not friendly and dont know how to greet customer. Like as though we owe him money !
Pamela (8/5): - Staff was very friendly and approachable. Transport to get there was very easy with the shuttle bus provided. Cleanliness is quite good considering this resort is not that young. Only 2 downsides - there were so many mosquitos in the room! We killed 16 mosquitos, seem to be coming from the drains in the toilet.. Other thing is there was strong smoke smell due to guests smoking/vaping around the beach club area so it wasn't the most pleasant.

Ethel (8/5): It was okay. - I like my room, it is clean and i like some of the food. I like the pool and sports activities. Most of the employees are kind and smiling. No aircon for the cafe and lobby. The waiting time for transportation to come is very long for pick up and there is no follow up call if you have driver or not. You do not have walkie talkie so the drivers know what room they should go to pick up guests.

Gwenne (8/5): Good value and comfortable - It was close to the bridges and as we came to cycle, it was super convenient. Away from the hustle bustle and traffic of the main city. Resort is clean and gardens well maintained. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The room ac was very loud and the remote control didn't work. It was quite cold and I could not control the fan intensity. The sound of the ac prevented proper and deep sleep. The bathroom mirror light was also falling apart. Looking at the room closely everything is built with cheap material and finishing. Bathrobe was also a thin cloth that had yellowish stains on it.

Sivuilla on maininta että lentokenttäkuljetus lisämaksusta ja maksutta lauttaterminaaleihin näin ei kuitenkaan ollu vaan maksettiin itse tullessa taksi ja paluumatka hotellin järjestämä. Joskin hinta oli erittäin edullinen.

Jeremy (5/5): Resort with decent views and water activities - Reception had great customer service. Birthday surprise was carried out without hassle. Buggy drivers and other staff like room service staff, engineers were polite and helpful. Food was nothing to shout at. Dessert was sold out when ordering for room service. Room service food however was subpar. Massage facilities felt like a scam and staff was unprofessional. No foot washes before the massage, staff talking and even yelling during massage, long wait time for milk scrub to dry without any service happening (about 20 mins), was told to soak in almost cold milk bath for the remainder 30 mins of our massage. Avoid the massage facilities until better reviews if any.
Tran (7/5): Very quite place, and not much happening at the resort due to Ramandan - Unfortunately we there during Ramadan, so patrons were low in number. Therefore breakfast was very average and some of the dishes seem to have been left over from last night dinner. Coffee was good. Room was spacious and although we had garden view, the outdoor view was lovely and well kept. The ground is very spacious and ideal family visit when not during Ramadan There was so confusion with payment. I misunderstood that payment have been settle via Booking.com. However that was not the case. Reception staff mentioned to my brother, but I didn't have a chance to settle it on the first day there as that day was packed with activities. The staff had my room physically double locked such that I was not able to get in even after outstanding payment settled. Three attempts with made with the help of the attending staffs, and 30 minutes later I was able to get it. I was furious because it was late into the night, and I was very tired from the days outing. They could have handle it better as I have another night with over 24 hours to settle this matter.

Nicx (6/5): Harris Waterfront has better experience 🫣 - Mr. Boy was very helpful during this trip. Hr is the saving grace of this trip. We were serve a pasta with Flies and it felts unhygienic although it was replace by another dish. While having buffet breakfast, most of plates has stains. Placed to the room with stairs even mentioned that another person has some injuries. Availed the 90mins massage and was asked by the masseuse if want to massage the face and say yes but after the session asked for 200k idr to give her due to the face massage and has done it together with the 90mins session, less than 90mins to be exact.

Jerlin (4/5): Disappointing.... - View only My family and I are so disappointed in staying at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. In fact, we have booked for 2 nights. However, the room that the resort provided to us was so dirty. The toilet was dirty, whereby there were worms on the floor and also at the toilet bowl crawling as well as the mosquitos, the dressing table was oily and sticky, and there was stain on the bedsheet, aircon not cold, etc. This was my first time staying in a room with such a bad condition. As a result, we are so unhappy and requested to change to another room. After which, we also requested to change to one night stay instead of two nights. Even breakfast timing also gave us incorrect information, and the reservation team told us that the breakfast would end at 10.30 am. We went over at 10 a.m., but the kitchen crews were clearing the food and plates. I asked them why they were clearing the food, and they told me the breakfast ended at 10 am. What a bad experience 😕

The distance to Barelang Seafood was so near and they even provided buggy down. I guess a nice sofa or a simple set of table and chairs would do instead of an additional portable bed in the room?

Would still choose to stay for a quiet working trip. - Being a beach resort it was expectedly not near shopping areas etc. It was a pretty good hotel nonetheless if you wanted somewhere with a beach vibe. The Spa was quite good too. I was there for a personal prayer retreat, hoping to be near the waters. I booked a sea view room. It wasn't as close to seas enough. The view from the room I was assigned (#3++) to was partially obscured by trees. Maybe the #5++ rooms would have been better. The quieter spots to pray, away from the beach access and pool bar, had lots of mosquitoes. The breakfast wasn't too bad. Still value for money.

Peterkg (8/5): Smily but lack warm - Great place to chill and relax. Pools ranging from toddlers to adults giving everyone an opportunity to swim and play. Periodic foam bubbles at the kids pool area is fun for children of all ages. Housekeeping need to beef up their service. Better to provide a check list for the staff. The staff from Front office and F&B though friendly but lack sincerity and warm with the exception of those staff managing the children's play areas, they are so patient and good with children.

Massage and spa Helpful and friendly staffs Near by seafood kelong Buffet Breakfast - it is the most important meal of the day where many guests will gather. The food need to make more effort. Dishes - to be serve hot, example porridge and other menu were just warm.
