• Lidia (9/5): Great location close to the Familia Sagrada - Location was within walking distance of places of interest. The rooftop pool was nice to relax after a long day of walking. The location seemed safe. The room was a good size and clean. Staff were very helpful with any questions we had or when we needed a taxi.

• Wayne Haylett (7/5): We had a lovely stay and enjoyed out time at the Radisson Blu 1886,thank you - Location was great for visiting the Sagrada Familia and views from the top floor were a bonus.Our room also had a side view of the Sagrada. Bed and linen is of great quality.I requested hypoallergenic pillows as I have a feather allergy ,theses were delivered promptly to our room and feather pillows were removed, Bathroom layout is very nice with individual area for toilet and shower,good use of space.The soap,body wash ,lotion ,shampoo and conditioner dispensers are very nice .Towels are a good quality and nice size. The complimentary chocolates with explanation of the Gaudi pavement stones were a lovely touch . Large glass bottle of drinking water provided daily was also appreciated . Small bar fridge to keep your own drinks and snacks cool was great.Nice kettle and coffee machine with coffee,tea and pods provided daily . Breakfast is in a lovely location and the food is of good quality and a nice varied selection.It was also good to note a full separate gluten free selection for those needing this.The chef did also make a delicious omelette for me on request. We were not notified in advance that a 100 Euro deposit would be taken when checking in. We did pay in full at check in. Nowhere on the Booking.com listing is this mentioned and it was the only property of the 7 different hotels we stayed in throughout Spain that this was required!! We were informed that the full 100 Euro would be refunded within 2-5 working days ,if no incidental expenses were incurred,we did not have any additional expenses ,..........which still has not been refunded !!! 2 big beautiful doors with Juliet balcony in our room,that were very dirty and the doors can only be opened 5 cm which seems pointless when booking and paying additional fees for a room with a balcony.It is not a true balcony with a view as you cannot lookout of the door opening due to the opening restriction.

• Ruslan (9/5): Beautiful hotel with an amazing atmosphere and location, but the breakfast experience did not match the overall high sta - I liked absolutely everything: the excellent location next to Sagrada Familia, the stunning terrace views, and the atmosphere of the hotel itself. The room was stylish, comfortable, and very cozy. Excellent value for money. Overall, the hotel left a very warm and beautiful impression. What I didn’t like was the breakfast. The presentation felt quite limited and not very appetizing for a hotel of this level. I think this is something that should definitely be improved. In my opinion, Hilton hotels handle breakfast much better, and I would recommend taking inspiration from competitors. It was actually the first time I had ever seen smoked salmon served in a deep bowl, which honestly surprised me.

The fruit was not seasonal, no berries etc, pastries weren't refreshed regularly. Need more coffee machines and there was no tea available.

Coffee machine and complimentary water are nice touches. Reception staff really helpful. The rug that the bed sat on had not been cleaned/hoovered. It had several clothing tags from the previous guest. The foyer area smells beautiful - they must have a signature scent, but our floor level (6) smelled strongly of bad body odour which seeped into the room a bit unfortunately.

• Roland (9/5): Es war ein toller Städtetripp, mit hervorragendem Hotel, traumhaften Wetter. - Das Hotel liegt 6-8 min Fussweg zur Sagrada Familia und somit auch zur Metrostation. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und doch zentral. Die Dachterrasse ist nett ausgestattet mit Blick auf die Sagrada Familia. Das Terrassenpool und die Liegen mit dem Liegeplatz sind sehr sauber. Ebenfalls ist das gesamte Hotel sehr sauber geführt, sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend sowie reichliche Auswahl an Produkten. Ebenfalls sind genügend Tische vorhanden, sodass jeder einen Platz bekommt. Vielleicht etwas jammern auf hohem Niveau, aber in der Lounge an der Bar hätten zum Cocktail oder gemütlichem Drink ruhig ein paar Nüsschen oder kleiner Knabbereinen mit dazu serviert werden dürfen. Wie gesagt, jammern auf hohem Niveau. ;-)

• Anita (6/5): Don't Choose Your Room - The room was extremely clean, I booked it in advance. nespresso maker and kettle scrupulously clean. Rooftop bar areas beautiful, lovely pool, proper plants and trees, lovely vertical gardening and design. We booked the room weeks in advance, as we received an 'choose your room' email saying we could do this. We arrived in the morning and left our luggage until 15.00. When we got back the room still wasn't ready, we were offered a different room, which we refused as we also discovered we had to pay 42.50 euros for the room booking in advance, something that was not on the email! We were given two drinks vouchers for waiting 1,5 hours for the room, but as my partner ordered coke he got two, and there ensured an argument about the fact he needed to pay for one of them. They still charged us 42.50 and did not take anything off the late room, I was shattered and just needed to lie down somewhere. Amazing how reception can really put you off what was otherwise a really good hotel- stark contrast to previous week in Marseille with straight 10s in every category.

Nao me deram o quarto e tive que me virar por Barcelona para encotnrar outro hotel. Alèm disso tinha uma cantora no hall que deixava mais dificil a comunicaçao. A pior experiencia da minha vida com um hotel.
