- Romain (10/5): - The cottage was very good! It was huge, it felt private and it was well-equipped. Everything was clean and pretty. I think it was very good price-quality and it is close to the famous hiking trail. They also did the favor to take us next morning to the station. They also had a drink bar available and a shared space too. Very nice! The pillows weren't that comfortable.

- Sean (9/5): - There were no public transportation, restaurants, or convenience stores nearby, but the hotel provided shuttle bus service free of charge to and from the Izu-Kogen station where everything was. On the flip side, a 5 minute walk gets you to the coast and the views there were breathtaking! The private hot spring was amazing as well. Our room does not include breakfast but we were able to make reservations for breakfast. It was buffet style with both Japanese and Western food at a pretty reasonable price. There was also a restaurant inside the hotel that serves dinner but we didn’t get to try it.

- Tatiana (10/5): - Наш отдых в отеле, хотя и длился всего один день, превзошел все ожидания! Очень уютный коттедж, а в номере нас ждал настоящий сюрприз — собственная ванная с термальной водой. Окрестности — чудесное место для прогулок. Отдельных похвал заслуживает ресторан: очень вкусный завтрак и потрясающий ужин. Спасибо шеф-повару — всё было невероятно вкусно! Но главное сокровище отеля — это его персонал. Особая благодарность за доброжелательность, отзывчивость и настоящее гостеприимство! Хочу рассказать один случай, который особенно нас тронул. Я не знаю японский язык, и мне нужно было узнать, работает ли в пасмурный день ближайшая мандариновая ферма, так как мы планировали туда поездку. Персонал на ресепшене не просто помог с информацией, но и предложил неожиданную помощь. Нам был положен трансфер до ближайшей станции, но сотрудник отеля отвез нас не на станцию, а прямо к воротам мандаринового сада! Это невероятно упростило наш путь и сэкономило массу времени. Это был жест высочайшего уровня заботы о гостях! Большое спасибо всему коллективу отеля за эти незабываемые впечатления! Мы уезжали с чувством глубокой благодарности и надеждой вернуться снова! Спасибо!
- Veronika (10/5): our best stay in japan - It's our second stay at this hotel, we booked a hous with an onsen bath in it. We really loved the place when we first stayed there. The house itself is comfortable and outhentic, we really enjoyed privat onsen bath (which was quite unique for us). Though hotel is located pretty far from the station, it's really close to amazing picturesque cost. We had a walk there like, every day? :D We asked to pick us up by car on station on the day of arrival. stuff sayed they will, but nobody came. so we had go through the town to the place with all the luggage by walk (~30 minutes) Although they give us a lift when we were leaving, so thenks for that!

- Hila (9/5): - The staff was super helpful and very friendly! They picked us up from the train. The apartment was great and very spacious. We liked the tatami room on the first floor and onsen bath was an amazing addition to our stay. There is a beautiful view just 5-7 minutes walk away. The area around was amazing an interesting, our best time in Japan (we had a car). Can't wait to be back. You need a car, as not near by buses (20+ minutes walk)... we walked to the train to rent a car.

- RUI (9/5): - 房间很大，床垫也很舒适，有厨房可以自己做火锅吃，冰箱制冷也不错，锅具碗筷很齐全。员工态度很好，接送我们到伊豆高原站，而且不是定点班车，是随时出发的面包车，到达车站大概10分钟，需要注意的是接送车有营业时间（9am-11am，3pm-5pm）。 房间里要是洗衣机就更好了，前台到房间有一些轻微上坡的路途。
- Jin (9/5): Our stay was out of our expectation. - The place is a seperated house so you can enjoy your own space. It was clean and tidy and even has private hot spring. There is a swimming pool and tennis ball court. The place also provides free pick-up service from the train station. The place is bit far from the station so it is not wise to walk from the place to the station, especially at night.

- Filipe Alberto (4/5): Just ok - The location was great for hiking, and the staff was extremely kind and always willing to help. The rooms were extremely but extremely clean and spacious. The breakfast was rather disappointing. For the price we paid, we expected at least some proper coffee, which we did not have as the one available tasted like instant coffee. Whereas the house was quite clean, the access to the house was covered with large spider webs and spiders, meaning that at night was terrifying to walk home as we could not see them. Despite not having seen any bugs like some guest described here in other reviews, we did have to kill a cockroach which was walking around our bathroom. This could easily have been fixed with some cockroach traps which are fairly inexpensive in Japan. In general, we felt that the entire place was long due some repairs, and that left us with a weird feeling. For the price we paid for, we surely expected much better. It wasn't bad, but it seemed that there were a lot of things which could have been easily been taken care of but that weren't.

Es gibt einen Shuttle Service zum Bahnhof, was ganz gut ist, da die Anlage etwas abseits ist. Die Lage ist etwas unpraktisch, und dadurch dass viel Natur außenrum ist, gab es Insekten im der Wohnung. Aber das war halb so wild.

- Hannah (9/5): - absolutely love our room! our room is spacious, clean and comfortable. it has private onsen and japanese room too. staff were kind and hospitable as well. love the pick up service from izu kogen to the hotel. highly recommending this hotel. hotel is about 10 minute walk to the runessajogasaki bus stop (where buses to izu kogen station and jogasaki coast stop). these buses have limited schedule (e.g. last bus from jogasaki coast is 5pm) thus if you miss, it's hard to move around. hotel though is providing pick up and drop off service from/to izu kogen which could be requested ahead. there is no convenience store nor grocery around the area. nearest ones are found in izu kogen station. better pack up food before going to the hotel or order dinner and/or breakfast from them.

C'è a disposizione una piscina (niente problemi per i tatuaggi) e i campi da tennis, per chi volesse rilassarsi un po' in acqua o fare dello sport. La colazione è sia alla giapponese che internazionale con una buona varietà tra dolce e salato. Siamo stati tutti molto soddisfatti. L'area è un po' isolata e lontana dalla stazione, ma c'è la navetta che accompagna fino alla stazione dei treni, o altre destinazioni se possibile.

- Aguena (10/5): Exceptional - As I informed my estimated check in time, the cottage had the air conditioner running keeping the place in perfect temperature at our arrival. The cottage is simple but it has everything necessary and the private onsen is the best! Everything was very clean and tidy.
- Bell (10/5): AMAZING. I almost stayed an extra day just because I loved my stay so much. I mean that! - I mean, exceeded my expectations and BEYOND! Everything was so clean, private onsen, full tatami to sleep for the night, even used two bed spreads to make myself a cushier sleep on the tatami mats. Full kitchen and bath. Cannot recommend enough. Also just in a gorgeous area, with a UNESCO cliff hike literally next door!!! Also, the staff were amazing (especially the night shift when I checked in around 8pm) and were patient in using google translate with me.
- Dean (10/5): Nice place to get away from the city. - The hot spring and the friendliness of the staff, especially for our late night check-in was heart warming. The selection of the snacks and drink is limited at the reception office.
- Anna (8/5): Very good - The location was near the coast and the area is very quiet, good for relaxing. During summer is probably the best moment to visit. You have an entire cottage for you and there are a lot of facilities, bbq, tennis court and pool (only open in July and August) The nearest convenience store was at around 25 minutes walk and the station as well is at 25 minutes walk, so if you don’t have a car be prepared to walk a bit. There is a bus stop nearby that runs every hour (more or less). Eventually I went around just fine, just be prepared to walk.

- Walter (9/5): Big apartment with private onsen - Best of all is the private onsen. Furthermore we were lucky and got upgraded to a bigger apartment. Rooms are a bit dated, but in good condition and pretty clean. Ample space for parking. We love the surroundings: Jogasaki Coast with its volcanic stone formations and two volcanoes. No toaster. Workspace in the kitchen is extremely small. No desk and no dinner table in the room.

- Ekaterina (8/5): Cozy place to escape from city noize - Very good kaiseki dinner and breakfast with local fish and seasonal ingredients. Spacious traditional house, private bath with onsen water. Bath tube is big enough for two women. Balcony gives luxurious feeling of being in ancient Japan. Quiet place, easy to get to volcanic shore. TV was a bit old and I couldn't connect my devices to it. No convenient store nearby. Futon mattress was harder than I expected.
- Bart (9/5): Superb - The personal onsen was a first time for us and really, really nice. The cottage was spacious with a nice combination of western and Japanese rooms, so we could try both. Location was good for walking - noting the coast trail which starts right next to the facility is quite narrow and full of spider webs (September); when we took the bus to the NY Lamp museum, the walking path up North was much better and very, VERY nice. There are drink vending machines on-site, but hardly any other food options except for the reservation-only restaurant. It's a bit harder to get to without your own car; luckily the staff is happy to pick you up and bring you back to the nearby train station for free. It's a bit of a walk to bus stops for other sight seeing. As we were at Jogyasaki in September, it was already lower season; the large swimming pool could still be used but was having a low water level - still nice and refreshing, but a bit hard to swim in. We did take the BBQ, which needs a reservation one day in advance. It was fun to do - basically you're provided with meat, fish and some veggies and a Weber BBQ in a shed where you are left to BBQ this yourselves, but we felt it to be a bit overprized at 4400 Yen and less appealing TL tube lighting. We had some misunderstandings with the staff due to language barriers, so we had to apologize deeply for confusion caused.

- Vikrom (9/5): Peaceful and lovely place - Private onsen, very polite and smiling staff, spacious room, microwave to warm food and amenities The final road to the room and the road to the reception lobby are quite small due to the bushes along the road. It would be nice if the hetel make it wider so customers do not have to worry that the bushes will scratch the car's doors or side mirrors.

- Ludek (9/5): Superb - We were super satisfied and we enjoyed every moment here. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Room (actually 2-floor apartment) was great. Japanese beds - only futons. But they were very pleasant for sleeping. Kitchen equipment was good but we did not use it much. A private onsen was great. The place itself is wonderful (200 meters walking to the sea coast through wild forest). We were there after season, so it was very quiet with few guests. We enjoyed rich breakfasts (japanese style blended with western: croissants, jam etc) as well as wonderful served japanese dinners (diverse, nice, tasty). Overall great experience. It was not straightforward to communicate in English but we enjoyed this as a part of japanese experience (... and everything was easy with the help of google translator).
