• Erika T (7/5): Nice Ryokan located at a Onsen street Nice ryokan located at a Onsen street - The staff were friendly, when we arrived we were greeted by a staff who directed us to the lobby and assisted with our luggage The room was nice had a nice outdoor area which you could sit outside to admire the cherry blossom tree but a little small for 4 adults. We booked the room with meal plan ie dinner and breakfast included , it was nice and tasty The free internet was ok but had some issues later as the connection became spotty. Overall had a nice stat with my family NA
• Jessica (10/5): Very Authentic experience. Not much English spoken so be sure to have your translator ready. - The room was so clean and thoughtfully laid out. The staff was warm and friendly. The rooms were large and peaceful. They changed our room over for sleeping while we were at dinner. The onsen was very peaceful. It was an amazing experience! I'm not sure what could have made our stay any better. It was an amazing experience from start to finish.

• Satoshi (4/5): 一部に心温まるおもてなしはあったものの、全体的な満足度としては再訪には至らないと感じました。 - 今回宿泊させていただきましたが、全体として良い点と改善を期待したい点の両方を感じました。 まずお食事についてですが、楽しみにしていたほうとうは味のまとまりが感じられず、麺の食感も含めて満足度が高いとは言えませんでした。家族全員が残してしまう結果となり、非常に残念に感じました。また、鮭についても味付けが弱く、印象に残りにくい一品でした。 さらに、料理の食べ方についての説明が特になかった点も気になりました。お店側としては当然のことでも、初めて訪れるお客様にとっては分かりづらい場合もあるため、簡単なご案内があるとより丁寧な印象になると思います。 衛生面では、醤油差しなどがベトついており、使用前に拭く必要があった点も改善されると良いと感じました。 また、客室については、ゴミ箱の数や容量がやや不足していると感じました。家族での利用ではゴミが出やすいため、もう少し余裕があると快適に過ごせると思います。加えて、テレビのサイズもお部屋の広さに対して小さく感じられ、やや見づらさを感じました。 一方で、ディナーの際に花粉症の私に対して箱ティッシュと簡易的なゴミ箱をご用意いただいたお気遣いには大変感動いたしました。こうした細やかなおもてなしは非常に心温まるもので、印象に強く残っています。 全体として、サービス面での温かさは素晴らしいと感じましたので、今後はお食事や細部の清掃・案内、設備面がより良くなることで、さらに満足度の高い宿になるのではないかと思います。 上記にまとめてます。

• NAOKO (5/5): 期待して行きましたが、残念でした。 - 建物とお庭は良かったと思います。 お部屋のトイレの換気扇はあるが、換気されない。匂いがこもったまま。 洗面所の排水が流れにくい。 洗面所に置いてあるティッシュが硬すぎる。キッチンペーパーのよう。 浴衣のプレスが悪い。使いこんでいるからか襟元がビシッとしない。 フェスタオルがガサガサ。歯ブラシはありますが持参を勧めます。 浴室の洗い場の椅子が高すぎる。 サウナが使えない。

• Jorika (6/5): Pleasant - Its a lovely very traditional ryokan and the staff is friendly and tries their best to make your stay comfortable. We had booked a room with a hot tub but apparently that was not available. Upon asking about the room we were told that there was no room with a hot tub, but it was in the description of the room we booked. We had chosen this ryokan as we had two travellers with tattoos and we knew they would not be allowed into the Onsen part of the hotel, so we booked a room with hot tub to make up for that. Communication was difficult as none of the staff spoke any english. Nearly no information in the hotel is in English, not even in the booklet in the room except for the emergency sheet.

• Dominique (8/5): Very nice cost-value in the center of Yamanashi - The traditional cozy rooms, the onsen, and food were very good. Some of the electronics such as the hairdryer could need replacement.

Be hungry when you go - both the dinner and breakfast had too much food for me. I ate as much as I could. I wish I could have asked for a ‘small’ version of the meals beforehand. I was still full from dinner when we went for breakfast.
• Mf (9/5): Super beautiful ryokan, slightly inconvenient location - The ryokan itself was really nice, with a beautiful pond! The staff was super friendly and the food so delicious (although a little too filling for most of my friends haha) It is quite inconvenient to get to, you will definitely need a car. Also if you would like to explore the surrounding village, you will need a car as well. Unless you want to walk for 1+ hours
• Thais (9/5): A quiet and comfortable ryokan in the hot springs district of Kofu - This is a gracious ryokan tucked away in a tiny back street in the hot springs district of Kofu. It looks old, but is scrupulously clean and comfortable. The reception area looks out onto a Japanese garden with a small pond with koi carp. The room was a spacious 10 mat size and very comfortable, and as well as an alcove, there was a wooden balcony with outside seating. Breakfast and dinner were served in the restaurant, you had your own table with your name on it, and the food was excellent. The onsen was wonderful, male and female baths were swapped during the day so you could have a different experience. While in some ways it was ideally situated in the hot springs area, it was a little too far to walk to Kofu Station where the transport was, for example to go to Shosenkyo Gorge. The taxis weren't very expensive though.
