Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not so good - This is in China-Town, so it is a old house and the stairs and corridores are Wien down. My rom - number 3 - was full og beds, one bunk-bed an one ordinary, and after that it was not any more space. The view was the backyard. The window was not possible to Lock. The area is not childfriendly, but central. There was no cocktoaches or wall-lice, but dirt behind heater and in corners. If smelled strange, special in the wardrobe, wich I did not use. The room was more expensive that the standard.
- Bernard (2/5): - I got not the place I booked, close to the conference center where I had to go, but another one, some 20min (more) away. The rooms are to low (less than 6 ft), noisy, you hear every noise from the neighbours, the "garden" in front was a mess, I had to be afraid of bedbucks and found some small insect in the bathroom that I would regard as a yound cockroach … and the owner put a snarring "pestchaser" in the room, i.e.: they must know of this danger, too.
How can this even be considered (by Expedia or the city of Toronto) to be a space to be rented? Is there no control??
- Verified traveler (8/5): 便利なエリア - ケンジントンマーケットの近くで食事や買い物に便利
- Frank (2/5): - Do NOT book this room. The building is essentially an URBAN SLUM that you'd expect somewhere in SE Asia. Sketchy strip on Spading Ave. You know something is not right as soon as you see the building and enter the filthy staircase: closet-sized room, heating controlled by opening the window, bare mattresses, child-sized bunk beds and a roll-away cot. Definitely NOT worth the price and NOT suitable for anyone. I urge all to STAY AWAY from this 'apartment'.
- Verified traveler (6/5): For the budget traveller. - Okay low budget accommodations, old converted apartment. Key lock process at night is difficult when checking in, the entrance is too dark. The owner was extremely quick to respond to requests for service (above average). Could use upgraded bed, desk and chair, tv. Did provide wifi internet. Wifi noted cable, so bring one just in case. The router is in the room.
