• Els (9/5): We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Tavira Terrace! - Warme ontvangst met een welkomstdrankje en koekjes. De twee dames waren altijd heel vriendelijk en we kregen zelfs een parasolletje aangeboden toen we naar het strand gingen. Het zicht op Tavira vanop het terras is prachtig. Zalig ontbijten zo.. Voor de mensen die slecht te been zijn, hou er rekening mee dat het 120 trappen zijn naar beneden naar het dorpje. Met de aangename temperaturen van mei was dat wellicht minder een uitdaging -vooral naar boven- dan in hoogzomer bij 35 graden.. 😅

• Isabel (10/5): A place to be! - Ein wunderschöner Ort! Alles sehr individuell und dennoch ein hervorragender Standard. Ein gemütliches und liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Ein kontinentales Frühstück gibt es auf dem sonnigen Balkon mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Das schönste am Frühstück ist der traumhafte Blick vom Balkon über die ganze Stadt, das Marschland bis hin zum Meer. Zum Relaxen gibt es einen tollen Pool mit kleinen Sesselgruppen und Liegen. Den ganzen Tag gibt es Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank, die bei Abreise abgerechnet werden: die Bar of Honor - einfach toll! Das beste aber, sind die beiden netten Gastgeberinnen, die jeden Wunsch erfüllen und immer gute Tipps für Besichtigungen oder Restaurants haben. Danke, ihr habt den Aufenthalt so persönlich gemacht! • Mirza (10/5): Fantastisk service og strålende opphold på Tavira Terrace - Hadde et fantastisk opphold på Tavira Terrace. Kjempe koselig sted og den super vakre utsikten over Tavira er virkelig fantastisk. Fra ankomst da vi ble møtt av Kristoff & Manuella fikk vi veldig god informasjon og fantastisk god service. Rommene var koselige med eget bad og veldig koselig interiør. Det var ca 10-15 minutter gåing så var du i Tavira sentrum, med fine kafeer og restauranter. Hvis vi skal bo i Tavira igjen så kommer vi absolutt tilbake til dette sted 👌. Sengene var litt harde.

The location is up on a hill so be prepared to climb several stairways. The breakfast was pretty good but the coffee was not strong enough and eggs would be a nice addition.

Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll und künstlerisch eingerichtet. Das Bett war mir etwas zu kurz und zu hart. Zum Frühstück würde ich mir noch ein Ei wünschen.

We stayed in a very comfortable superior room with en-suite and large balcony and fantastic views. Everything about this place is well thought out, breakfast is fantastic, the pool area delightful. A peaceful haven - but the steps up and down to town will be a barrier for some. The steps on the walk down to town! The trains that others mentioned are infrequent and slow running so really are not an issue.

• Carole (10/5): - From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. We stayed in the room that had the bathroom 'outside of the room' which was not an issue. It is right next to the room and we were provided with robes. It was never an issue and the bathroom was very nice! We had an early departure on our last morning and they were kind enough to make sandwiches for us to take since we couldn't stay for their wonderful breakfast. The women that run the place are so wonderful and kind. Make you feel like it is your home.

Das gute Frühstück gab es auch auf der Terrasse, serviert von unseren lieben Hausdamen. Im Haus gibt es eine Bar, an der man sich mit Getränken versorgen kann. Die Innenausstattung des Hauses ist überaus geschmackvoll, man kann sich kaum satt sehen. Tavira ist zu Fuß über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Wer es nicht zurück schafft, nimmt ein Uber Taxi. Wir sind immer gelaufen, trainiert. Am Pool wäre eine Einstiegshilfe nützlich. Ansonsten alles gut...

• Bozidar (10/5): Would love to come back - Relaxing, cozy, comfortable. This is a great guesthouse. There's nothing to complain about, in my opinion. We had it all and a great view of Tavira, too. Late check in, I guess, but it's clearly stated so plan around it.

We had a double room that opened onto the terrace with the pool. Managed a swim in the middle of April! Breakfast was delicious and served overlooking the pool and a fabulous view of Tavira and the river. There are a lot of steps if you're walking into town but that wasn't an issue for us. Really excellent areas for relaxing both inside and out with a vast array of books and games. Would highly recommend, especially because of the very warm welcome 😊 Nothing. It was all wonderful 😊

• Regina (8/5): Schönes, privat geführte kleines Hotel, von dem aus Tavira zu Fuß erreichbar ist - Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis des Frühstücks war sehr gut. Es gab frischen Orangensaft, Müsli, Obst, Käse, Wurst und Marmelade. Dazu Brötchen, Toastbrot und Kekse. Die Kritik manch anderer Gäste hinsichtlich "immer dasselbe" konnten wir nicht nachvollziehen. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus ist beindruckend. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen und auch drinnen. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, wenige Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der in der Nähe vorbeifahrende Zug ist deutlich und auch nachts zu hören.

El.antitrión, muy amable y con un dominio de todos los idiomas, da todas las comodidades para llegar al lugar. El desayuno en la terraza espectacular experiencia para empezar el día. Ideal para pasar más tiempo dentro que fuera de la preciosa cuidad. Nuestra habitación era con baño privado fuera pero pegado, como en tu propia cosa. De Lujo!! NADA. Nos costó irnos porque es para quedarse . Volveremos sin duda . Creo que es mucho mejor que en las fotos

If weather is bad - pool table, football table, chess set, board games & lots of books. Hand rail in shower and for getting into pool would be better for safety, especially if guestsd have any mobility issue.

Great breakfast sitting on the terrace. What a find we had a lovely few days staying here and we would thoroughly recommend the Tavira Terrace. Nothing! Everything about this hotel was great. It is positioned high on a hill with a series of steps to walk up from the town. We used Ubers occasionally which were very good. Cheap and speedy so if you don’t fancy the climb just use those.

• Elske (6/5): Prima verblijf en lief personeel. - Het personeel is super vriendelijk, ontzettend fijn en heel erg lief. De service was absoluut niks mis mee. De faciliteiten zijn goed en prima onderhouden. Er is een pooltafel, mooi groot zwembad en mooi uitzicht over de stad. Gratis parkeren voor de deur. Het was echt super koud binnen. We waren er eind December, en de ramen waren beslagen. Overal was het koud, ook bij het ontbijt. Het comfortniveau valt helaas ook wat tegen. Het ontbijt is prima. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding was niet in verhouding met wat we hebben ervaren. We kunnen ons voorstellen dat het in de zomer prettig is, maar in de winter zou ik het niet aanraden.

• Martina (9/5): - Ich war über Weihnachten der einzige Gast. Monica, die Seele des Hauses hat sich rührend um mich gekümmert. Ich bekam sogar eine Matte für meine morgendlichen Übungen. Ich hatte das Zimmer 7 in der oberen Etage mit einem grandiosen Ausblick über Tavira. Die Pension liegt etwas oberhalb der Stadt. Über einen etwa 15-minütigen Spaziergang und eine 120-stufige Treppe errreicht man die Stadt. Auch für mich als Untrainierte war das überhaupt kein Problem. Alles in allem war meine Woche im Tavira Terrace superschön. Das Frühstück ist zwar liebevoll angerichtet, aber inhaltlich ausbaufähig. Positiv bzw. besonders lecker waren der frische Orangensaft, der Quark und der Kaffee. Ich hätte mir dazu Eier gewünscht, und bei Brot und Käse regionale Produkte.
