• Dan (10/5): Amazing place to relax - The staff were exceptional, always very friendly and helpful. Aya was particularly helpful with our stay and we want to thank her in particular! The bath with a view of the Japanese garden was beautiful and the highlight of our whole stay, as well as the tea set and complimentary tea bags. The futons were also very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff!

The toilet was very cute , and there was a private bathroom with a wooden bath tub by the window so we could enjoy the bath and the view of the garden. The public baths were fantastic. We used it twice a day. It was not busy and very clean. The natural thermal water was fantastic. The changing area was very clean and well organised. The best thing about this hotel was the meals. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and beautiful. Also the Japanese garden was quite big, pretty and relaxing. The entrance of the hotel is located on a busy road. • Julie (10/5): Relaxing cultural experience! - The meals and private dining room were amazing! The room was so spacious and relaxing. It was my first time using the baths/hot springs in Japan and it was the perfect way to unwind on my last day of vacation! Had problems finding the entrance when I mapped the directions. Had to call the staff. They were very helpful and came to find us!

It's an oasis of tranquility from the hussle and bussel of life When dropped off by bus, feels like arriving on a motorway. Fortunately it's a short walk but no easy crossing apart from the very kind drivers who stopped in traffic to let us cross.

• Pornchai (10/5): A magnificent stay celebrating 160 years of history! - A wonderful experience at a legendary ryokan! We stayed during their 160th anniversary, and the atmosphere was so lively and festive. The decor is beautiful, and the central garden is a must-see. We also really enjoyed the famous indoor hot spring. The staff were very attentive and kind. A truly grand and historic stay!

• sori (10/5): 친정엄마와 함께 떠난 모녀여행, 성공적! - 밥 부터 맛있었고, 제공된 모든 음식이 정갈했습니다. 다른 후기에 음식 맛이 생각보다 평이하다는 (그보다 낮다는) 이야기가 있어 걱정을 많이 했는데, 정말로 맛있게 잘 먹었고, 특히 친정어머님이 (김치는 생각나지만) 맛있게 잘 먹었다고 하셨습니다. 가이세키도 만족합니다만, 저희는 기본 코스에 한 단계 업그레이드 해서 받았고, 사시미에 랍스터가 추가되었습니다. 이어 나오는 된장국에도 랍스터 머리가 들어있었어요. 최상급 코스는 생선구이가 있던데, 상급으로 업그레이드 한 것으로 만족합니다.

• Hyunok (9/5): - 가이세키 정식, 조식, 내부 인테리어, 청결도, 친절함 모두 만족합니다. 하카타역에서 30분 거리고, 온천물이 매우 깨끗해서 70대 부모님부터 대학생 아이들까지 모두 만족했습니다. 정갈하고 정성스러운 식사도 좋았고, 입구 왼쪽으로 5-10분만 가면 돈키호테도 있는데 이용객이 적어서 편안하게 쇼핑했습니다. 체크아웃후에 다자이후 텐만구를 다녀와서 5시 비행기를 타니 시간이 맞았습니다. 재방문 의사 있습니다. 구글맵에서 버스에서 내려 4-5분 걸으면 된다고 나와있는데.. 엘리베이터 없이 계단이 많고 길이 좁아서 짐들고 부모님 모시고 걷기가 불편했습니다. 대욕장에 사람이 거의 없어서 이용에 불편함은 없었는데, 가족탕이 있었으면 더 좋았겠다는 생각이 듭니다.

• Nikolai (10/5): Truly a Highlight During my Japan Backpacking trip - Everything about this place was so wonderful, the whole experience, from facilities to staff, I would say is world class. The rooms and private bath was heavenly, and the onsen is divine. I would be telling all my friends and family to visit here if they ever go to Japan. I loved it so much, that I already started looking at future dates to return while I was still booked in. This is not really a negative, but more of funny - during the checkout, there was a lady wearing a black suit that seemed so stressed out trying to help me out. I was sorting things out with my luggage on the front desk, and I think she wanted everything to be perfect on making sure everything was ok and tidied up. Just chill, haha! I already had an amazing time, so no need to stress and be so worried. You guys are all amazing! :)

Je suis végétarienne et j'ai pu bénéficier d'un repas entièrement végétarien (vegan même je crois), repas traditionnel bouddhiste ^^ (à demander en amont bien sûr) Un gros + pour moi : j'ai demandé si je pouvais aller dans les onsen malgré des tatouages (j'aurais compris qu'ils refusent), mais ils ont dit que c'était ok avec des bandages pour masquer les tatouages et ils me les ont fourni. Rien n'était pas appréciable, tout était parfait, à la hauteur de l'expérience qu'on attend. Le lieu est accessible à pieds mais ce n'est pas très agréable, mais ça, ils vont pas pouvoir le changer ^^
