• Benoit (2/5): Demande de remboursement - La suite avec vue sur Colisee maus qu’une nuit sur 2 bien qu’ayant reserve 2 nuits L’etablissement devrait me rembourser le differentiel entre une suite vue sur Colisee et une chambre standard (que j’ai payè) sans meme une reclamation de ma part ce qui parait tout à fait normal. Malgres ma reclamation je ne suis toujours pas rembourse ce que je trouve malhonnete.

Then when it was time to sleep- a buzzer went off every 2 minutes. Non stop. No sleep. After trying to contact them the next morning- I called booking.com and asked for a refund and went to another hotel.

• Miriam (8/5): Prima verblijf met prachtig uitzicht - Het uitzicht op het Colosseum was prachtig. Ondanks dat het aan een drukke straat lag was het toch niet gehorig. Kamer was zeer schoon en netjes en leuk ingericht. Bed was aan de harde kant, maar prima. Genoeg stopcontacten. Badkamer prima in onder. Bed werd steeds opgemaakt en handdoeken verschoond. Keurig. De mozaïek tegeltjes kwamen op sommige plekken van de muren. Dat doen ze in de Sint Pieter toch beter. Misschien kunnen ze dat repareren. Verder een keurige nette ruime kamer schoon, goed bed, goede douche en toilet.

We did decide to splurge more on a place because of that factor alone and was disappointed to see that we in fact could not see the colosseum.

• Roberta (6/5): Posizione top a Roma vicino Colosseo - Posizione e vista colosseo eccellente per il prezzo pagato. Camera al primo piano con ascensore. Mini frigo in camera con bollitore e macchinetta del caffè. Rifacimento del letto e cambio asciugamani giornaliero. Stanza con qualche pecca, porta d'ingresso a 2 ante piccola e per passarci con il passeggino bisognava aprire anche la seconda anta. Appendiabiti con grucce e macchinetta caffe/bollitore/ minifrigo messi assieme dentro a una nicchia con porticina. Bagno senza finestra con qualche mattonella della parete staccata. Camera un pò impolverata e pulizia non ottimale.

But that was it maybe the price was reasonable too? Water pressure needs improvement, especially when it comes to the hot water. The room can be better when it comes to its cleanliness, and presentation. Toiletries needs better labeling (shampoo, body wash). The walls were thin enough to hear other people.

• Andreas M (5/5): Great location near Colosseum, but a few drawbacks - We stayed at this hotel in Rome, and the location was absolutely unbeatable – right next to the Colosseum. We had a two-level room, with the bed and a large TV upstairs, and the toilet and shower downstairs. The WiFi was a bit glitchy at first but worked fine after a while – we were even able to stream movies on the TV. On the downside, the hot water pressure was weak, and the showerhead was fixed to the ceiling, which made rinsing off a bit more time-consuming than usual. Despite the central location, the room itself was very quiet. The only noise issue was some nighttime roadwork outside the Colosseum, but that’s obviously not the hotel’s fault. The air conditioning didn’t work – only the fan. However, this might be because it’s not very hot outside yet. We found it worked well to just open the windows and air out the heat when we came back in the evenings. Overall, a mixed experience – fantastic location and quiet room, but some maintenance issues with the bathroom and A/C.

From the bathroom you could smell the stench from the sewage system, you had to keep all the windows open at night too. On the walls visible fungus. The rooms are not as in the photos in the description it is that there are new furniture and renovated rooms, which is a lie. I do not recommend avoiding it, fear to wash in the bathroom

• Mark (10/5): Loved the area and access to metro, everything else in walking distance, great local restaurants and amenities and suppo - Booked studio double room with washing machine. On arrival we had been given a 6 bed apartment with some doors that were locked (including the one with the washing machine in it). Took a short time for host on WhatsApp to sort out. Property was a couple of blocks away from the Colosseum. Space and facilities, the small moka and the gas stove meant a good coffee first thing in the morning. Proximity to the Colosseum and metro meant access to the local attractions, (Col and Forum) & Vatican activities easy each morning.

Dużo restauracji, choć lepiej odejść ok 500m od Koloseum aby zjeść smaczniej i taniej. W pokoju nr 4 mieliśmy wspaniały widok z okna na Koloseum. Pokój wyposażony w czajnik oraz ekspres do kawy na kapsułki. Byliśmy w bardzo zimnym marcu i ogrzewanie klimatyzacją sprawdzało się doskonale. Łazienka w porządku, suszarka i ręczniki na wyposażeniu. Pani w recepcji bardzo uprzejma i pomocna. Polecam jako baza wypadowa, wystrój pokoju to wczesne lata 70-80' ale do Rzymu nie jedzie się po to aby siedzieć w pokoju... Brak większej szafy na ubrania.

Tight elevator would be an issue if someone is bigger or with many large luggages. For two people with 2 small luggages and 2 backpacks it fit but in other cases would require additional trips on the elevator.

• Emilie (6/5): No frills rooms but great location - It was very close to the Colosseum and some great little bars and restaurants. Our room looked nothing like the pictures. Definitely dated. The rain shower was disgraceful, I had to clean all the black mould off of it so it flowed out better, not a job I should have done. The coffee making facilities were very poor, so we went and bought our own stuff and “borrowed” the communal kettle in the mornings for coffee. We needed to buy milk, and sugar. The bed was reasonable, although the bed in room 19 had a dip in the middle so one of us kept falling into the middle. The toilet paper was not re filled in our 3 nights, but luckily we just about managed, despite being a couple who both have ibs. I’m sure if we had asked for it, we’d have got that refilled. Overall, the property is tired, our friends were in room 18 which was nicer than our room. Our room, 19, definitely needed a facelift. The photos showed a kitchen area and washing machines which we never saw. It was a pain having to walk from the office to the flat with cases, but we are fit enough that it didn’t bother us, but had we been elderly, it would have been difficult.

• Simon (8/5): Perfect location to experience close up the Colosseum & Forum, but will be busy - Best location / view in Rome, my room was across the street from the colosseum, so can't get more central. Historic Roman apartment block, that's visible in all of the documentaries about ancient Rome, with stunning rooms / facilities. My room had a basement bathroom, and additional, unadvertised 2nd bedroom that could be good for children. Having office staff on site came in handy when I locked myself out of the room, after a run around the forum, in a thunderstorm. They didn't laugh too much. Easy access to subway, bus, and taxi rank outside the door - also, has 24h minimarket round the corner, and lots of touristy restaurants - some of which are great No faults with the place, but should be aware - this is the closest you can get to the Colosseum, Forum - so will be busy with tourist groups, traffic etc. However, you do get easy early access to the key sites - and looking out of the window at 3am to see a deserted Colosseum - magical experience

• Hugo (9/5): Repetiría sin duda. - Todo estuvo genial en nuestra estancia, la habitación no era la del bloque principal con vistas al coliseo, pero solo estaba a una calle, así que la zona la increíble, la habitación súper bien, muy grande y con todas las comodidades que se necesitan, hay radiador para el invierno y calienta la habitación muy bien, la cama es muy cómoda y grande, increible para ir con pareja, el baño muy bien también. En resumen repetiría sin duda. Por poner alguna pega la tv no conectaba con app como Netflix para poder ver una película o serie por la noche y solo habia canales en italiano, pero como digo por poner alguna pega. El resto todo genial.

• Patricia (8/5): Satisfeita - Gostei de tudo, tudo mesmo mas segue abaixo somente algumas palavras.. Para quem busca total tranquilidade, este talvez não seja o local mais indicado. O prédio possui um estilo rústico e não conta com isolamento acústico, o que é compreensível. Os quartos são próximos uns dos outros, o que exige maior cuidado com o silêncio. Além disso, há um quarto de depósito em frente ao quarto em que fiquei, o que ocasionou certo movimento e ruídos na porta. Como eu apenas chegava para dormir, acordava e saía, a estadia foi tranquila para mim.

• Tanja (10/5): - Friendly staff, comfy and clean bed in a great location. I got surprised with an upgrade to a room with a view of the colosseum. Also was lucky enough to score a later check out! Absolutely incredible!

Expensive for what it was but still a nice place and frienly reception - The staff were friendly and went out of their way as quickly as possible when we were allocated a room that was not suitable as it didn’t meet the listing info. Perfect location to the Colosseum Very expensive for the basis of the initial room that was not suitable for three people
• Andrea (8/5): - Struttura moderna , in centro vicino al Colosseo. Posizione ottima per poter raggiungere le maggiori attrazioni di Roma, ben servito e con la fermata metro a pochi metri di distanza. Camere spaziose e provviste di tutti i servizi necessari. Assolutamente lo consiglio !!

Posizione dietro il colosse - Molto molto bella la struttura Per raggiungere la casa ci sono due piani di scale e nel palazzo non c’è l’asxensore. • Petya (8/5): Great stay in Rome for three nights at the emd of May - The location was amazing - across from the Colosseum, with restaurants all over the small near by streets, and only two metro stops away from termini station - for travel to the Vatican and out of town trains. The external blinds that are fully sun proof were awesome also - zero light comes in when they are closed making for a great night of sleep and sleeping in. It is on the 4th floor so there is no street noise (plus the external blinds help for that also) Wifi was very weak - so if you need wifi for anything this would be a problem if you don’t have your own data. My daughter had to use my hot spot to be able to use her phone

• Eduardo Alejandro (9/5): Excellent location, frequent response, very nice place in the center of Rome - Excellent Location and easy and clear access to the rooms The coffee does not have replacement daily, they have hours keeping service, but only made bed, and take trash out, nothing else! The rooms are not located were the guests do the check in, it’s around three blocks away
