- 裕子 (10/5): - とにかく景色が最高！ 目の前に海が広がり、部屋にいても食事していても美しい海や島々を観る事ができます。 夕食も新鮮な魚介など工夫を凝らした美味しい料理でした。 スタッフ皆さんが料理の説明をしてくださり楽しい時間を過ごせました。 プレイルームではアルコールや珈琲も頂け、ボードゲームやちょっとしたライブラリーもあり楽しめます。 夕日の見える季節に再訪したいと思っています。 特になし

- Ben (10/5): Outstanding property, cannot recommend it highly enough! - The view of the bay is exceptional. It’s fantastic to overlook it from the room and also from the restaurant. The traditional style of the room created a lovely experience. The Onsen on the balcony overlooking the bay is an experience not to be missed. This felt truly luxurious. The staff cannot be faulted. We speak English and very little Japanese and the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The food was beyond delicious. Prepared before our eyes and explained by the staff with care and detail. I cannot thank the staff more for their care and kindness. Overall we loved the property, although we would have preferred a queen or king sized bed - we are very tall!

- Danielle (9/5): A relaxing island oasis that I thoroughly recommend! - Enjoyed spectacular sea views from a private onsen bath in our own room. The kaiseki dinner featured Iki island delicacies and the flavors were divine! Breakfast was also a culinary treat . The staff were extremely attentive, courteous and very helpful. The carpet in the bedroom is a hard, tight, natural weave with little knots that we couldn’t walk on with bare feet. Would be better to have a softer covering or throw mats on top of this carpet so that guests can be more comfortable moving around without having to wear the clog style slippers.

- Caron (10/5): The best retreat ever - We had an AMAZING stay at Iki Retreat. Everything was seamless - the hotel driver picked us from the lunch place directly (we went for lunch first when we arrived at Ashibe port - you can arrange everything through email before arrival), and throughout our stay, Katano helped us with everything as he was able to speak some English. Staff are impeccable and attentive, room with a magnificent view, private onsen on our private terrace, everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat was provided - drinks in the room, use of private bath and gym (gymwear also provided if needed) were provided with no extra charge. We opted to have breakfast and dinner included and the food was just out of this world. Delicious delicacies - iki beef, squid, teppanyaki, sashimi, sushi, condiments etc.....the chef will prepare everything in front of you. You do have to pay for the alcohol with dinner... Our jetfoil got cancelled and Katano and the staff helped to find alternatives for us as well. I could go on and on with only everything positive to say....

- Anthony (10/5): the ultimate in sophisticated luxurious relaxation - Absolutely exceptional in all respects. Luxurious and sophisticated; this is a treat worth saving up for! Terrific staff, superb dining, extremely relaxing… would have liked a map of sites and dining options around the island to have been provided at check-in. the same applies to information on bicycle hire from the adjacent hotel….

I’ll definitely r - the view and room size with the private onsen the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. especially ayako and a gentlemen forgot his name those two were amazing and made the stay wonderful. also the dinner that was served was exceptional. the public bath at night was a bit scary. there were spiders hanging off the roof. at first hard to tell because it was dark.

- Verified traveler (8/5): お食事を目当てに - とにかく食事が素晴らしい。またぜひ雲丹の季節にいきたいと思います。 お部屋はせっかくリノベーションするのならもう少し思いきってほしかったです。 お部屋の露天風呂は昼間はあつあつですが、夜お酒が覚めたころにいれたらぬるま湯しかでてこず（体感ほぼ水です）、雪の舞う中しばらく我慢して入っていたのに全く温度が上がる気配がなく凍えました。そこだけ要注意です。
- Verified traveler (10/5): 全てが素晴らしい - 非常に若い総支配人と女将でしたがホスピタリティのレベルも高く、旅館という言葉で済ませるには勿体ないアコモデーションでした。 到着から帰りの送迎まで細かな配慮が詰まっており、リピートしたい宿ナンバー1と言っても過言ではありませんでした。 朝食の時間に間に合わず、寝坊していたにも関わらず、出掛けにお弁当まで用意してくださったりと、高級老舗旅館のサービスと言っても過言ではありせんでした。 客室の露天風呂も素晴らしく、夕陽を眺めながら源泉掛け流しを客室から堪能できる旅館は少ないも思います。 リニューアルされてから間もないせいもあり、非常にキレイなお部屋でしたがドライヤーだけが気になりました。 出力が弱く恐らく女性が髪を乾かすには時間が掛かるのではないかと思います。 食事についても非常に満足度が高いものをお出し頂きました。 ひとつひとつに手を抜かず、高いクオリティのお料理を提供して下さり、食事だけでも行けるなら行きたいと思わせてくれるものでした。 温泉と料理でお客様が来てくださるという女将の言葉がありましたが、スタッフの皆さんのホスピタリティも含めて是非またお邪魔したいと思える、皆さんにお勧めしたい宿です。 夕食付きのプランとそうでないものがありますが、絶対に夕食付きを選ぶ事を強くお勧めします。
- YURI (10/5): 贅沢の極み - 楽しみにしていた壱岐の旅行は、初日移動日を除き滞在期間中(3泊4日)はずっと雨。お天気には全く恵まれませんでしたが、お宿は色々悩んだあげくに海里村上さんを選んだのは結果的に大正解でした。フロントから眺めるダイナミックな景色、お部屋に備え付けられた天然温泉の露天風呂、ラウンジではこだわりのコーヒーにジャズの音色が心地良かったです。そして焼酎に良く合う絶品の懐石料理。何もしない贅沢さを初めて堪能しました。しかし何よりも素晴らしいかったのはスタッフの皆さまの温かさです。細やかな気遣いや笑顔。他ではきっと経験できなかったであろう滞在中の旅のプランニング···。ゆったり過ごしたい方には是非オススメです。
