• Eliot (9/5): - Balcony with amazing view. Very quiet. They drove us there the first time. (It's about a kilometer from the main street in town.) Beautiful 10-minute walk downhill to quiet Carabi Beach.

Ma il vero valore aggiunto sono Valerio e Makis, host attenti e simpaticissimi, che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno veramente piacevole. Teli, ombrelloni, giochi da tavolo e ampia scelta di libri in varie lingue sono a disposizione degli ospiti... Che dire, tutto perfetto!

• Paola (10/5): bellissima vacanza - Tra le cose che ho trovato più interessanti e utili vi è la posizione dell'appartamento che è non lontano dal centro di Livadi, ma abbastanza lontano da non soffrire di traffico e persone. Inoltre, due bellissime spiagge sono raggiungibili a piedi da casa. Una terza, la più bella dell'isola in assoluto, a soli 7 minuti di auto. Infine non lontano dall'appartamento si trova una taverna dove la sera di ritorno dal mare si può restare a cenare consumando dell'ottimo cibo greco!!!

Accueil très sympathique et serviable de notre hôte Makis.

• Fabrice BUTEAU (10/5): Excellent séjour très sympa - Très bel appartement. Belle terrasse avec super vue, abritée du vent dominant et ombragée. Accueil super sympa, l'hôte (parlant français, italien...)est venu nous chercher au port pour nous montrer le chemin. Petits gâteaux maison et confiture nous attendaient. Je recommande fortement. 😁 On peut regretter le chemin d'accès très caillouteux, mais ce n'est pas grave, il nest pas tres long et il suffit de prendre son temps

• David (9/5): A great place to stay on a different and friendly small island. - It suited us very well, being out of the town and beside fields and beaches - but we didn't mind the walk uphill to get back in the evening. Only one thing - the hot water was a bit erratic, and sometimes cold.

• Daniela (10/5): The apartment is very nice, has all the facilities, is very comfortable, and the view is fantastic! - The owners are very nice and helped us with everything we needed! They even took us to the port on our last day! The apartment's location is a 15-minute walk to the port. It's not that bad, but it's better if you rent a scooter or car because it can be a little hot during summer days. However, there are also taxis that can take you if you don't want to walk.

• Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - I had a fantastic time staying at Maroussa’s Apartments. Makis and Valerio were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very nice and everything worked. The view from the balcony was stunning. I thought the location was ideal as it was nice and peaceful being just outside the main town. Very close to two nice beaches. I highly recommend staying here.

The apartment was extremely tastefully decorated and well supplied with everything you could need. We loved our peaceful meals on the terrace listening to the birds. Our hosts were extremely hospitable - leaving a lovely welcome basket of small goodies which was very much appreciated. The beaches are only a few minutes walk away- and the port a nice walk along the beaches. We absolutely loved our stay from start to finish- and will definitely return! A little gem. Nothing
• Trav2 (9/5): We enjoyed our stay immensely - View, cleanliness, comfortable bed. Well set up with utensils, kitchen and airconditioning but with screens on windows and doors to keep the flies and insects out. A great balcony with exceptional view was excellent. The host could not be faulted - thank you Markis. The property is located high above the main town, which can be a problem without a vehicle. Otherwise it's a 15 minute walk to the beach (downhill, but naturally, all uphill on the way back.

• Eleni (8/5): Comfortable and well equipped rooms - The host was very welcoming. The breakfast was nice, in a beautiful little patio at the back of the building, but sadly it was offered only until 10:00. The rooms were fully equipped (big kitchen, hair dryer) and well decorated. There were two air conditioners, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. All windows had nets to prevent insects from entering the house. The host also offered to lend us umbrellas for the beach, as we didn't have our own. I felt that the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, especially the shower. Even though the apartment had two air conditioners, one of the bedrooms didn't have. Also, our bedroom was a bit dark, it had only a tiny high window.

• Gwen (8/5): We loved our time on the island, would definitely return if possible. - Makis was a great host - very helpful & informative. Breakfast was delicious - a lovely selection of homemade dishes. The bathroom facilities were rather difficult to use due to the floor flooding when using the shower.

He picked us up at the port, even though the ferry was an hour late arriving and when we left he took us back to the port The room was clean, very spacious, (bigger than expected), and well equiped with everything one could need. The big balcony offered privacy and a great view. All set in a peaceful location. The breakfasts were good with delicious preserved sweets. Because it was early in the season and the breakfast area wasn't yet open, it was a real treat to have our breakfast baskets brought to our room, so we could eat on the balcony. We loved listening to the frogs. It's quite a walk back up the hill from the town but a taxi back is only 5 euros.
• Daniela (9/5): Would come back any time!! - The host was really really welcoming, friendly and helpful! The view is fantastic and everything really quiet. Travelling alone was perfect, but if there are more persons, the bathroom is really small and gets wet, when showering. It is no problem at all, but one should know it.
• Constanze (10/5): Highly recommendend - The apartment consisted of two rooms and a balcony with a fantastic view over the island landscape. Breakfast was excellent, there was a selection of homemade jams and marmalades , delicate cheese from the neighbor and much more. The port center is within walking distance. For our excursions and island life we got valuable tips and information from the owner.

• Anca (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great time at Maroussa's, the room had everyting we needed, exceptionally clean, with a great view of the sea. The breakfast was very good, with homemade fresh food. The host was welcoming and very helpful with a lot of useful info regarding best beaches, bus and ferry schedule - very important on greek islands, where sometimes basic information is not as easy to come by for tourists. Be mindful, if you have mobility issues, there is a 15min walk up from the port. The host was very helpful in driving us from and back to the ferry, so carrying the luggage was not an issue.

• Mercedes (10/5): Stay in Serifos - Everything. Mika came to pick us up to the port as is need it due luggage and hills, he explained about Serifos and giving tips. Breakfast is AMAZING, everything fresh with local products or home made. Mika brought us back to the port for our next ferry and we left our luggage in his travel agency the whole day, super good and recommend 200%. all good, no issues
• Lydia (10/5): Exceptional - Makis was an INCREDIBLE host, friendly, helpful, full of useful tips and interesting stories. The place itself is so peaceful, with great breakfast with local products and home made jams. Overall would recommend and stay there again Walk from Livadi is a little tiring as it s uphill (but only 15 mins) - and Makis gave us a lift to and from the port so overall location worked out okay thanks to the amazing host :)
