Simona (4/5): Mittelmäßiger Aufenthalt - Die Lage war sehr gut . Das Frühstück sehr preisgünstig und dafür wirklich ok Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht , die weit auseinander waren.Ein Zimmer war in Ordnung , dass andere Zimmer hatte ein altes Badezimmer . Dusche war in der Badewanne mit hohem Einstieg . Wir hatten im Vorfeld nach zwei zusätzlichen Decken gefragt , trotz telefonischer Zusage waren keine Decken da ! Die Wolldecken in den Zimmern waren verschmutzt mit Flecken!

Rolf (5/5): Stammgäste werden nicht als solche umsorgt - leider. - Für zwei zusätzliche Kissen wurden mir 10 Euro zusätzlich berechnet. Das habe ich bisher in keinem Hotel erlebt. Beim Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant habe ich mich extra an die Weisung der Rezeption gehalten, erst Platz zu suchen, wenn eine größere Reisegruppe ihr Buffet-Essen beendet hat. Dennoch wurde ich von einer Kellnerin angefahren, was ich denn wolle..... Zum Essen vergaß selbige das bestellte Getränk und das Essen war hinsichtlich der Temperatur an der Grenze. Kurz: Bier und Essen waren für mich noch gerade kalt genug bzw. noch gerade warm genug. Dafür setzte im Küchenbereich dann eine lautstarke Diskussionsrunde zu Tagesereignissen ein. Als Stammgast ( Buchung seit einigen Jahren immer 2x pro Jahr) wird man nicht erkannt.

Gritt (2/5): Das war ein Griff ins Klo. - Leider nichts. Unfreundliches Personal, Zimmer befand sich im 3.OG, es roch nach „ muffigen Keller“. Badezimmer starker Sanierungsbedarf. Wir hatten es vorgezogen dort nicht zu schlafen.

Timur (9/5): - Отель находится на курорте. Чистейший воздух и вода. Запах солода и пива в воздухе!!!! Персонал не всегда на месте и не всегда контролируют ситуацию. На завтраке меня смросили, являюсь ли я их гостем? Наверное они ДОЛЖНЫ сами это знать... ну и т. д....
Gisela (5/5): - Ich hatte den Eindruck mich bedanken zu müssen im Goldenen Löwen übernachten zu dürfen. Anscheinend klappt die Kommunikation zwischen booking.com und dem Hotel nicht. Das letzte verfügbare Zimmer mit einem durch den vorherigen Gast verursachten Schaden mit Dachluken ohne Aussicht.

Bulmer (5/5): Don't stay if you are American or want good food. - A very charming, old hotel. Our two rooms were on a mid-level between 2nd and 3rd floors with "roof balcony" access just our own. Extremely close to Kostritzer Brewery where we attended tour and tasting which was why we chose it in the first place. The senior staff was almost hostile at every opportunity from check in, not accepting American Express as payment, to assigned seating for a mediocre breakfast, not even on the list for breakfast the second day, to why they lock the hotel from 10:00am to 3:00pm and don't tell you or where the "back door" access is. Greatly different treatment of German guests. Would not recommend staying here as Americans. Dinners were pricey and not very good.
David (6/5): Disappointing, given the price - Secure parking for bicycles. Fair value breakfast (7 euros). Dirty titles around the bath/shower. Very thinly staffed - have to wait some time for someone to attend reception. Meanwhile, the few staff can often be seen having a fag and a natter in the 'beer garden', where they have their own table permanently reserved.. Wifi doesn't reach beyond reception.
