- 桂 (7/5): - 選んだお部屋が私達にぴったりだったこと 広さも清潔さもあり、お部屋でも良い時間が過ごせました 朝の入浴が9時までで。せめてチェックアウト寸前まで入れたらよかったです 宿泊者数と朝食バイキングのメニューや量や席の，バランスが悪いと感じた 朝食バイキング，他のホテルは種類も豊富で手作り感のあるものも多く，今回はそういうことが感じられずで 今から思うと素泊まりでもよかったかと。

- Liao (8/5): Fab - would recommend - The onsen was phenomenal, it looks way better than it does in the pictures. The hotel is older but it gives off a truely authentic vibe. the rooms are much bigger than other Japanese hotels too. Staff are very hospitable and helpful, I really enjoyed my stay. The location is fine if you have a car but I can’t imagine going to Beppu without a rental car. It would’ve been nice to have a dim light by the bed, it was either darkness or fully lit.

- Sebastian (7/5): Geräumiges Hotel mit nostalgischem Charme im Onsen-Kurort - Das Frühstück war in der Tat sehr gut. Die Unterkunft ist für Beppu sehr kompetitiv im Preis, und das Hotel ist gigantisch - wäre sicher gut, wenn man in einer Gruppe reist. Das Rotenburo war erwartungsgemäß großartig. Die Auswahl an Restaurants in der Nähe des Hotels ist nicht so prall - ich würde daher empfehlen, ein Zimmer mit Abendessen zu buchen. Nicht wie ich, nur mit Frühstück. Nördlich vom Hotel gibt's übrigens nen 7-11. Das Hotel ist außerdem riesig und leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen - der Geruch des Teppichbodens ist etwas staubig. Die Zimmerausstattung mit sehr analog aussehendem Radiowecker ist auch nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß, und die Steckdose am Bett liegt doof, wenn man Handys laden will.

- Judith (4/5): Great location and breakfast, but the room was dirty, musty, and poorly maintained. - Free breakfast, which was decent and appreciated, and the location, which is right next to a beautiful waterfall and river The room felt old and poorly maintained. There were visible stains on the carpet and furniture, and there was an old, musky odor that made the space feel even less clean. There also weren’t enough outlets to charge multiple devices, and no large towels were provided, which was inconvenient.

- 正晴 (3/5): 残念です。 - 森の中にあって落ち着いた雰囲気。 上の部屋から23:00〜6:30 頃まで、こちらの気配に呼応する様にカラン、カシャンという音がずっと続いた。 翌朝フロントで事情を説明したが、上の部屋には誰も宿泊しておらず分からない。今も音がしますかと聞かれ、行って確かめてみてくださいと言いました。 ロケーションも静かな雰囲気もよかっただけに、何だったのか分からずですが残念です。 動画撮ったので音声アップして聞いてみて欲しかったですが。

Obwohl es in keinem mir vorgekommenen Onsen in Beppu ein Problem war (Horita, Shibaseki etc.), scheint es das dieses Hotel Kunden mit Tattoos immer noch nicht in ihr Onsen lässt...sehr veralterte Einstellung meiner Ansicht nach und schade da dies der Hauptgrund für die Buchung in diesem Hotel für mich war. Ich muss auch sagen das diese Info nirgends sichtlich aufzuginden war vor meiner Buchung.

- HUI CHEN (10/5): - 房間很大(塌塌米+床鋪),活動空間充足,只是浴室非常的狹小,大眾池洗澡會比較舒服; 但因交通不便,適合自駕者,停車場很大,也有迴車空間,上下行李不會淋到雨;櫃台比較容易遇到外籍服務員(英語也不是很好) ,不會說日語的話,可能要出動翻譯機;溫泉池也不錯,雖有年份,但整體的環境是整理得蠻乾淨的; 附近步行距離沒有任何店鋪,回飯店前記得採購

- AndrewL4718 (10/5): Great time, comfy and clean - Very friendly staff, quaint and quiet hotel. Large space and japanese style room was a good size. Hotel is a bit old, but felt clean. The bath houses are traditional japanese separated by gender/sex. Location is a bit further out from any grocery or restaurants that are within walking distance. There is a playground across the parking lot that was nice to have for kids.

- Joan (9/5): J’ai passé un superbe séjour dans cet établissement, je ne peux que recommander - L’hôtel est superbe et calme, la chambre était immense, propre, traditionnelle et la vue sur la montagne était belle. Le personnel a été arrangeant pour que je puisse profiter du onsen alors que j’ai des tatouages, et ont offert une entrée au parc d’attraction de Beppu L’accès via les bus et la marche peut être un peu difficile avec les valises pour les voyageurs sans véhicules

- Joshua (10/5): - I have stayed in 12 hotels on this trip, and this is the friendliest, with the kindest staff. I needed an extra pillow and they brought it to my room within a few minutes, they got me a taxi for my bus out of town, they had better then usual English understanding and treated me very well. The property is a little old, and I noticed the other guests were mostly older people (I’m 44, most the others were over 60) so it is not a hotel for having a party, but for a high quality nights sleep, I highly recommend it.
