• Elke (5/5): - Lage sehr schön, gemeinsame Aussenbereiche großzügig ausgestattet. Das Ferienhaus entsprach nicht den Fotos wie beim Buchen der Unterkunft. Wir hätten das Haus so mit dieser Innenausstattung nicht gebucht. Wir empfinden dies als Täuschung. Küchenausstattung eher dürftig.

• Paola (7/5): Logement sympa pour une courte durée - La localisation où la vue est superbe , c’est son gros point fort Le ménage pourrait être améliorée (un peu de poussière, toiles d’araignées..). Il y a aussi beaucoup d’humidité, ce logement a besoin d’être chauffé pour pouvoir un peu améliorer ça (heureusement qu’il y avait les chauffages d’appoints sinon on aurait eu froid)
• Laura Clorinda (10/5): Una casita preciosa en medio de la naturaleza. - La casita era preciosa. Había todo el necesario para pasar un momento perfecto en el medio de la naturaleza. El camino cerca de la casa es precioso con vistas al Teide y al pueblo de Agulo. Nada, fue todo perfecto.
• Araceli (9/5): Retiro en la naturaleza - El paraje es impresionante, tiene un encanto único. Tienen un detalle de bienvenida y es que te dejan desayuno para varios días. Nada!
• David (10/5): Recominedo 100% - Es un lugar maravillosa. Su ubicacion no es la mejor ya que dependes del coche pero quitando eso es perfecto, un espcial rural inmejorable, unas casas muy bonitas, bien equipadas y acojedoras. La mia la casa "D" tenia wifi y endima televisión nueva con internet en definitiva poder poner nuestra series y peliculas. La habitacion pricipal muy bonita con su propio baño. Y para los que necesitan comprar comida y demas teneis el pueblo de agulo a un maximo de 20 minutos.

• Angelika (9/5): Landhaus am Wanderweg - Traumhaft ruhig und abseits gelegenes Landhaus direkt am Wanderweg für Selbstversorger. Küchenausstattung OK, Holzofen für kalte Nächte vorhanden, alle Heizstrahler waren in Verwendung. Bei Schönwetter ein Traumplatz! Bei der Ankunft hatte es 12 Grad Außentemperatur und im Haus (das größte der Anlage) die selbe Temperatur. Wir baten den Vermieter (eine Kette) telefonisch um die Möglichkeit, in einem kleineren Apartment/Zimmer einzuziehen (auch bei gleichen Kosten), da es uns schwierig schien, das Haus mit rund 8m Raumhöhe zu heizen. Obwohl die Anlage bei weitem nicht voll war, wurde uns diese Möglichkeit nicht gewährt bzw. man hatte den Eindruck, dass hier keine individuelle Lösung für uns als Gäste gesucht wurde... dass man sich ehrlich bemüht hätte, uns bei unserem Anliegen zu unterstützen. Fazit: Die Location ist top bei Schönwetter, ansonsten kann es dort sehr kühl werden, man muss sich auf Zeit zum Aufheizen einstellen. Empfehlung für Ruhesuchende, keine Infrastruktur in nächster Nähe.

• Jan (7/5): Overall, the stay was acceptable due to the cleanliness and welcome package, but several practical issues and the very f - The place was clean and there was a welcome package. The location was quiet, there were free parking spots available, the area felt cozy, and there were some very cute cats around. There was a bad smell coming from the shower and the water did not drain properly. There was only a bedsheet but no duvet cover to put over the blanket. Initially, we were given the wrong door code. One of the heaters started to smoke when it was turned on, although it was replaced promptly. In general, the location is, as already described, in the darker part of the island. While it was around 20 °C in the south, we only had about 7 °C and it was constantly cloudy and foggy, and we never saw the sun. It’s simply something that guests should be aware of beforehand.

• Irene-TPC (1/5): No recomendable - Habiamos reservado dos noches y nos fuimos tras la primera noche, sin duchar ! La experiencia fue muy decepcionante. Desde el momento en que entramos, la casa desprendía un olor muy fuerte a humedad, moho y cerrado, absolutamente inaceptable. El baño estaba en un estado de limpieza muy deficiente, hasta el punto de que ninguno de nosotros quiso ducharse. Las almohadas también olían mal y tuvimos que cubrirlas con nuestras propias camisetas para poder dormir. Además, las ventanas no aislaban correctamente y dejaban pasar el viento durante toda la noche. Habíamos solicitado previamente algunos detalles básicos para el perro y no había absolutamente nada preparado a nuestra llegada. La cocina estaba en pésimas condiciones: faltaban vasos y cubiertos, la nevera estaba sucia y el estado general dejaba mucho que desear. El salón es muy incómodo y no existe un espacio adecuado para sentarse a conversar, más allá de la mesa de la cocina. La situación fue tan desagradable que, aunque habíamos reservado dos noches, decidimos marcharnos tras la primera. Consideramos que el estado de la vivienda no se corresponde con lo que se espera de un alojamiento anunciado en Booking y necesita una mejora urgente en limpieza, mantenimiento y equipamiento.

• James (7/5): Rural accommodation in a stunning location - Absolutely stunning location. Beautiful views and countryside. Superb value for money, given the price we paid. A great base for exploring La Gomera, especially with some footpaths running right past the accommodation. Could have been cleaner on arrival. The weather at night was cold and damp, but the houses would have been more comfortable with better heating. We had an issue with one of the kitchens, and although I contacted the staff by WhatsApp we never received a reply.

Heel rustgevend en prachtig omgeving middel in de natuur. Inrit naartoe en parkeer plek was klein. Geschikt voor kleinere auto's. Grote auto's en een volle bezitting zou een parkeer probleem kunnen geven.
• Niclas (6/5): Charming and cozy, but too cold and moldy in the winter time. Maybe more for a summer stay. - The view from the apartment was gorgeous! The fireplace was a life saver. You are very close to one of the most iconic view points and very near the national park. A few nice hiking trails near by. The apartment was freezing cold. First night we arrived late there was no fire wood to heat up the place. None of us slept that night it was pretty miserable. The property staff did rectify the situation and we were provided with unlimited fire wood the remaining of the time. The apartment is charming but it was covered in dust and suth. We believe there is also alot of mold especially in the bathroom. One of my kids with Asthma was sick the entire time. Charming place, gorgeous surroundings but too moldy if you are there in winter time. Maybe would have been a different experience if it was sunny and warm and we could have been more outside.

• Mihaela (7/5): Fairytale location and place, but not ok at maintenace and cleaning - The location, the place, the houses are amaizing, beautiful valley, the buildings arhitecture, tiles, everything is with very good taste, who designed it really cares about spanish architecture and also did a very good job with the interior design, wood furniture, good apliances, nice outside areas, with chairs and sunbeds, a barbecue area. Also because it was cold, the stove did a great job, we had firewood just next door so we could heat the house. Sadly, even the house has quality furniture and apliances, in the bathrooms they are not well maintained and also not proprely cleaned. Cleaning is not wel done. So sad, there is water, acces to clraning products so...no excuse for not proper cleaning.

Very clean and cozy The balcony door wouldn't open during our visit and we booked specifically for this reason. When I text our host to alert them they just said 'The door is blocked" The bed was also hard.

• Levit (9/5): Пора сделать хотя бы точечный ремонт. Двери в туалет плохо закрывались, необходимо отрегулировать краны с водой. Но это - Жить среди гор с видом на море!!!, что может быть прекрасней. Немного отдаленно от ресторанов, но все супер!) Нельзя забывать, что в горах гораздо холоднее чем на берегу. У нас был дождь и туман, а внизу было солнечно.

Unfortunately, we stayed during rainy days, so the inside of the cabin felt a bit damp and our clothes didn’t dry well. However, I believe that in good weather this place is absolutely perfect.

• Eva (10/5): - Heel leuk dat er een basispakket aanwezig was! En de open haard is echt een heerlijkheid, zeker als het wat frisser is buiten! Het douchegordijn ofwel langer maken of nog liever een deur in steken... Liep helemaal over nu.
• Gabriele (5/5): - Wir hatten zwei elektrische Heizkörper und einen Kaminofen, der mit Holz beheizt werden kann. Das hat uns sehr geholfen, die vielen kalten Tage zu überstehen. An schönen Tagen ist der Standort ein guter Ausgangspunkt für einige Wanderungen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr einfach, z.B. ist die Küchenzeile sehr eng und der Herd wenig geeignet, um ganze Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Es hat vier Mal in den zwei Wochen durch Fenster und Dach reingeregnet, sodass wir das Regenwasser aufwischen mussten. Es war niemand vor Ort, dem wir das hätten kommunizieren können. Überhaupt fehlte es an Ansprechpartnern: keine Rezeption, keine Servicekräfte, die regelmäßig vor Ort waren. Nur einmal wurden uns in den 2 Wochen, die wir dort verbracht haben, frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher vor die Türe gestellt (regenfest verpackt). Unsere Unterkunft war eine Hälfte eines Doppelhauses, das scheinbar gar keine Geräuschisolierung hatte. Dadurch war es äußerst hellhörig. Der Standort ist sehr abgelegen, z.B. können Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants nur per Auto erreicht werden. Die Straßen sind eng und sehr kurvenreich. Wir hatten 10/14 Regentage mit teilweise sehr stürmischen Wetter, was die Straßenverhältnisse durch Erdrutsche und Steinschlag sehr gefährlich gemacht hat. An zwei Tagen sperrten die Behörden wegen eines Orkans alle öffentlichen touristischen Einrichtungen. Las Casa del Chorro machte auf uns keinen gepflegten Eindruck, z.B. wurden während unserer 2 Wochen dort niemals die Terrassen und Wege gefegt, obwohl es wegen der Stürme viel totes Pflanzenmaterial etc. gab.

• Matthias (7/5): Schöne Anlage mit ca. 6-8 Wohneinheiten. Wenig persönlich. Schlüsselbox mit DIY - Die Lage ist pittoresk, aber weit weg von allem. Einkaufen und Restaurants liegen 25-30 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt. Es war kalt, Feuerholz könne ich im Supermarkt kaufen, war die email Antwort der Rezeption, die irgendwo auf Teneriffa verortet war. Der ganze Checkin Prozess war sehr unpersönlich und fühlte sich Self-Service mäßig an. Die Wohnungen sind extrem hellhörig. Ich konnte den Deutschen nebenan beim Abendessen zuhören….

Ubytovani sme neboli presne v tej jednotke ktora je na fotografiach s vyhladom na more, ale v zadnej casti, len pre info. Parkovanie hned v areali, vyuzili sme aj vonkajsi gril, vsetko super. Takisto aj velmi nas potesilo mensie take zakladne obcerstvenie na uvitanie, voda mlieko chlieb maslo dzem :) uzasne kludne tiche miesto v nadhernej lokalite.

• Lise-Anne (9/5): - Décor à couper le souffle. Belle villa avec un charme rustique, bien équipée. Il a plu énormément durant le séjour et quelques fenètres prenaient l'eau, mais la villa était tout de même três propre et c'était un inconvénient mineur.

Pedí cubre-colchones impermeables para la cama de mi hijo de 2 años y los tenían puestos a nuestra llegada. La iluminación no era excelente, se podría mejorar. Aún así volveríamos con la casa tal cual estaba, fue impresionante.

• Glenn Andre Maldal (9/5): A magical and cosy place to get away from it all. - We decided to make this our base on La Gomera for our weeklong stay, and did not regret it. It’s set in a spectacular location with a lovely view toward the ocean and a marvelously starry sky on clear nights, and is close to many of the best trails on the island. Agulo and Hermigua is close by and has plenty of dining options (including the amazing El Faro), and the Mirador Abrante is within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and our apartment had all necessities, including a washing machine. If you stay here, we also highly recommend the short hike on Montana El Cepo, which is only a short drive away. Nothing to dislike, but you do need a car to get the most out of your stay here. There are no places to eat within walking distance and the beaches of Valle Gran Rey will be an hours drive away. It’s a lovely drive, though, so we didn’t mind.

• Jakub (8/5): - We enjoyed the apartment and the surrounding area - you can easily get from there to Mirador de Abrante for the sun raise. The house is spacious (we stayed in 1 Two-Bedroom Superior House) and has two bathrooms, which was helpful - there were four of us. The apartment felt a bit damp — the towels, although freshly prepared for our arrival, were slightly moist and had a musty smell. Additionally, we noticed there was only one wine glass provided, which wasn’t quite enough for four people.
• kristien (9/5): - Wij hebben genoten van de stilte van de locatie. Op loopafstand van de mirador en het rode mars landschap. Het huisje is ook stijlvol ingericht met houten meubels en leuke details zoals een kaars, schilderijtjes met historische prenten, basispakket voorzieningen (brood, confituur, koffie, thee, melk). We hadden 2 ruime terrassen. Vriendelijk onderhoudspersoneel. Twee katten die opgevoed zijn (niet binnen komen in het huisje) maar voor gezelligheid zorgen. Voor ons was het de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een paar dagen. Douche bovenste badkamer

• Gloria (9/5): Muy bonita. Tranquilidad y naturaleza. - La casa tiene un estilo rústico muy acogedor y bonito. El salón es precioso y la cocina cómoda y súper bien equipada. Genial la chimenea. La terraza con las vistas en plena naturaleza es magnífica. Esta muy apartada de todo y no hay muchas cosas cerca pero precisamente buscábamos esa tranquilidad. Ducha con presión y muy calentita. Cambiaría todas las bombillas de la casa a luces cálidas ya que muchas son de un blanco intenso que molesta un poco. Hay unos gatitos muy monos que hacen compañía pero se hacen pipí en los muebles de la terraza.

• Nuuria.Alonso (5/5): - La ubicación. Está al norte y había muchísima humedad dentro del alojamiento y la zona. El valle estuvo todos los días con niebla y no se veía nada. Si vuelvo a la isla me alojaría en el sur.

• Koilp (9/5): - El sitio es precioso... Las casas muy amplias, adecuadamente equipadas, limpias y cómodas. Es un lujo poder hacer vida en la terraza, con unas vistas impresionantes y rodeado de naturaleza. Esta cerca del centro de visitantes, y del mirador de Abrante, la carretera para llegar es buena. No es tanto que no me gustó, pero si una advertencia: esta en medio del monte. Aunque parece estar cerca de Agulo, la verdad es que son mínimo 20 minutos de curvas para llegar. He ido con niños de 9 a 17 años, y es ideal como punto de salida para excursiones.

• Britta (10/5): - Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Las Casas del Chorro sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, ruhig gelegen und perfekt, um einmal richtig abzuschalten. Genau das Richtige, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Durch die Lage konnten wir wunderbar entspannen, gleichzeitig aber auch mit dem Auto bequem die ganze Insel erkunden. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die einen erholsamen Urlaub in einer schönen, gepflegten Unterkunft verbringen möchten.

• Nina (9/5): - Häuschen für uns alleine. Alles hat funktioniert- konnten in Ruhe mit der Waschmaschine unsere Wäsche waschen. Cosy, obwohl ein wenig altmodisch. Trotzdem super sauber. Alles funktioniert. Genialer Ausblick bis zum Meer (ab dem zweiten Tag befand es sich im typischen Nebel auf Gomera, da es ziemlich hoch liegt). Wegbeschreibung, Google maps und Zufahrtsstrasse einwandfrei. Es gibt eine kleine Heizung u nen Kamin für kältere Tage. Ruhe und Natur pur!! Nur eine Kleinigkeit: der Zahlencode der schwarzen Box an der Türe, wo wir unseren Schlüssel finden konnten, war zuerst der falsche. Über WhatsApp antwortete aber uns sofort jemand, der uns auf die gleiche Weise zuvor die Infos für die Anfahrt zukommen ließ. Gut, dass sie uns auch zuvor schon die Zugangsdaten fürs WLAN haben zukommen lassen - dort gibt es nämlich weder netz zul Anrufen noch Daten für WhatsApp.

• Janki Palo (8/5): Nice setting, but due to foggy weather, not a choice we would make again. - This was a very nice find, but perhaps not a choice we would have made had we known more about what its location entails. We do wish the listing had shown a little more of the foggy weather which, after speaking to locals, we learnt often dominates this part of the island. All the photos show sunlit cottages and views, but our experience was quite different. Every time we left Casas del Chorro, just a few kilometres away, the sun was shining; however, weather by our accommodation was mostly cold, humid, and cloudy. It came as quite a shock after spending time in the west enjoying sunshine. We arrived in mid-July and even ended up using the fireplace in the apartment, as it was so chilly. It would have been helpful if the listing had given a more honest picture, showing a bit of both worlds. Of course, the weather cannot be helped, but since this seems to be a frequent occurrence, it feels fair to mention it. That being said, the main kitchen and living room area were lovely, with their tall ceiling. We also really enjoyed the terrace and the very friendly cats. The cleaners and maintenance staff were kind whenever we saw them, and the setting itself is magical, surrounded by lush vegetation. The kitchen is missing a dish drain rack. Also, the wardrobes and the second bedroom had a strong musty, humid smell, which was not very pleasant. The biggest issue, however, was the shower – the curtain is too short and, no matter how uncomfortably we tried to position ourselves while showering, water still ended up spreading around the bathroom, leaving it constantly wet and unpleasant. An easy fix would simply be to buy a longer shower curtain!
