- Prashanth (10/5): - Well-appointed rooms centrally located, a short walk from Fort William railway station. Carmen and Phill are wonderful, welcoming hosts, who reached out in advance to understand our itinerary, dietary needs, and interests, to help us in the best way possible.
- David (10/5): - I stayed for two nights when booked on the Jacobite Train. One of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. I was on my own so stayed in the single room - small but very comfortable and very quiet. The choice for the inclusive breakfast was huge and delicious - it set me up for the day. The view from the dining room is spectacular, especially from the table they gave me, which one member of staff told me was the "naughty corner". Carmen, Phil and the staff were great, friendly, full of helpful information and fun to talk to. Long conversations about cars, career changes and life in general over a pint - the local craft IPA is really good by the way. Make sure you try it. The same goes for Guisachan Guesthouse. You must try it.
- Austin (10/5): Excellent - High quality accommodation very conveniently located close to Fort William town centre and railway station. Everything very clean. Host was very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of options.

- Karen (8/5): - Great property when it isnt hot outside. Unfortunately i stayed one night and it was super hot and hard to sleep in my twin bed room. The windows in the UK dont have screens and these windows opened up to a view of a wall which had little airflow so it was hot. There was a ceiling fan luckily. The breakfast was great and the owners were friendly. Property is close to restaurants.

But the breakfast was very good with plenty of special items like smoked salmon. The owners are very welcoming and the parking is free.

Really good location close to the station and the high street. It seemed a little overpriced. Perhaps room 10, which is a single, not directly next to its ensuite, and a little like sleeping in a caravan should be less than £130. It felt too expensive, especially against competitors in Fort William. I’d stayed in a well located, larger and better presented double in Fort William the night before for nearly half the price.

I was staying in a single room which was small and cosy, very clean and had everything I needed for my 1 night stay. Walking distance to the town centre, train station and has lovely views over the loch.

- Andrew (10/5): Excellent accommodation - I have become a lot more indecisive as I approach retirement and deciding on which accommodation to book in Fort William was no exception. There’s a lot to choose from in Fort William but I eventually opted to book the Guisachan Guest House and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was, it’s a well maintained property, clean and the owners are very friendly and efficient. I was in room 2 on the ground floor at the side of the property, it had a recent shower room upgrade which was lovely, there were the usual tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, a small wall mounted TV with Freeview channels and a comfy double bed with bedside tables. There was a continental breakfast buffet and a cooked to order Scottish breakfast which was very tasty and was served in the dining room with a view of the water and mountains. There’s also a small bar and comfortable lounge area but after a long day of photography I was too tired to do anything other than go to bed early, and the bedroom was comfortably warm. I would definitely book the Guisachan Guest House if I am up that way again and am more than happy to recommend it to others as being in a great location for exploring the beautiful scenery in the surrounding area.
