• Horst (9/5): - Alles im Verhältnis zum Preis ausgezeichnet. Schöne Anlage mitten im Zentrum mit grossem Barbereich und 2 mittelgrossen Pools. Sauberes Hotel, saubere Zimmer, extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, schöner (innenliegender) Frühstücksbereich mit gutem vielseitigen Frühstück. Zimmer zweckmäßig gut eingerichtet, alles sauber und funktional. Mir sind die teils mäßigen sonstigen Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehbar, vor Allem nicht im Verhältnis zum Preis. Tiptop Wahl im absoluten Zentrum wenige Meter vom Strand, Bushaltestelle 20 Meter. Geschäftsmann, selbstständig, 61. Parken ist in der Innenstadt kaum (legal) möglich. Natürlich ist es abends nicht ganz leise; ds sollte aber klar sein wenn Sie in der Innenstadt von Cala Ratjada buchen. Es ist KEIN Ballermann Hotel mit dem typishen unterirdischen Publikum, Anfang Mitte Mai sehr freundliches normales Publikum.

• claremB1005RS (2/5): Horrible horrible horrible - AVOID at all costs. This is no 3 star hotel, it’s more like a 1 star hostel. Thoroughly disappointed. Swimming with cigarette ends and dead flies, room poor. Booked through Love holidays and the pictures on their site do not reflect the rooms you stay in if you have to stay in the building over the road from the hotel you think you’ve booked. Stay away is my advice
• Tomasz (8/5): Decent hotel - Comfortable beds, lovely view from the 6th floor, good variety for breakfast including well done bacon. Toilet is fitted literally under the sink so makes usage very difficult. We tried to call reception from the room to find that there was no socket and the cable was pushed into the gap in the wall. We searched room and there was no socket anywhere.

• 267chantellem (8/5): Great value for money always clean - This was the most reasonably priced hotel with breakfast included in the package love holidays were offering. I booked about a month before and checked in at the end of July I stayed until 2nd August 2024. I was worried when I looked at photos and heard reviews. But it turned out fine. I checked in at 1am and there was someone on reception. He put us in the connecting building (not the main building that has 6 floors). The connecting building has 3 floors. I stayed in room 208. It overlooks the square. There is a club Chucca that plays music on the square in the evenings and closes at midnight. The noise didn't bother us. The room had 3 single beds. The bathroom looks exactly as the photos it needs a little modification but it was okay for the price. The air conditioning in the room was very good.The room and bathroom were very clean even the balcony furniture was clean. They change towels everyday except Thursday. All the staff are very nice. Lots of families with kids stay here, which was great as my daughter had people to play with. The breakfast buffet was okay they had bacon, sausages, eggs, fruits, breads, cereals. They don't check your room number at the door so anyone can walk in. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. A kids playground and a rocky beach (no sand) 7 min walk from the hotel. We went horse riding at Rancho Bonanza which is €35 each person. It's walking distance from the hotel but it was too hot, so we took a taxi which cost €6 one way. We also went to the beautiful sandy Cala Agulla beach €7 taxi. You can buy parasols for €14 at the shops behind the hotel. We also went to Splash world water park inside of Globales Bourganvilla resort in Sa Coma. We took the 424 bus from behind the hotel (€6 one way) and then from 'Savenes 1' bus stop, we took a taxi (€5.50) to Boganvilla. Use Taxi Rapid +34971562556. Splash World was great you get a day pass which entitles you to unlimited free drinks and food (burger, chips, fish fingers, nuggets, hot dogs, slushies). It cost £105 for me and my daughter but it was worth it. Mallorca Safari Zoo is accross the road from the back of Bourganvilla.

• colinroyw (10/5): Faultless - Having just returned from a week's stay at Hotel Bella Mar, I cannot praise the hotel, the facilities and the staff enough. Trying to find a fault is just about impossible. Yes, a mini fridge in the rooms would be an added advantage, but so few hotels have this, so it's not a major issue. The breakfast is first class & an amazing selection for all tastes. The two pools, the rooms and all areas of the hotel were all well maintained, clean & attended to by the friendly and excellent staff. Looking forward to a return in 2025.

Very friendly and kind staff, always happy to help. Great location. Great selection of food for buffet breakfast and dinner. The fact that there are two different buildings. At the smaller one, the lift is in between the floors, so you always have to go up or down the stairs after you use the lift, even carrying your suitcases on arrival and departure. This building is not designed for elderly or disabled people. They close the main door of the small building at night, so you must go to the main one and cross the street through the tunnel which includes even more stairs.
• sarafI73MO (2/5): Hostel not a hotel - We were offered this holiday due to our original booking being cancelled ( Covid19) and this hotel is not a happy hotel. The staff are overworked and often overwhelmed, we only saw 7 staff members in the 10 days that we were there. The staff were friendly and helpful but there is no welcome pack in the room for information such as meals, WiFi etc and the staff are so busy, getting help is difficult. We booked half board, breakfast was always good but evening meals were hit and miss leaving us eating out more than in. Drinks have to be paid for with the meal, even water and don't touch the coffee machine as this is only permitted at breakfast. There is a fridge in the lobby with hand made sandwiches that you can purchase for lunch, do not be fooled into all inclusive as there is nothing, no ice cream for the kids etc. All inclusive means that you can get drunk, thats it. On the plus side, drinks are half the price of the surrounding bars should you want to get drunk. There is no tea, coffee facility unless you purchase it from the bar. The maid swaps the towels but leaves hand towels instead of the bath size. Again, all the signs of a tired hotel. When we arrived, I could have cried due to the difference in this hotel and our original booking with the price being very similar. I was gutted. The bathroom has no plugs on the chains, holes in the ceiling and the toilet water ran constantly, The flush mechanism broke. It was repaired but wouldn't flush properly. We didn't spend much time in our room due to the area being so beautiful and the people being so friendly. It is a German holiday resort but that wasn't an issue for us. However, we are a middle aged couple and this is for the younger people who want to stay out all night, hence a lot of noise. We were mis-sold this hotel as it has only the best images displayed. Do your research properly before you go to the Bella Mar. I am rating the hotel 1 star and the poor staff that work there a 5. The hotel is crap and there is little the staff can do to change it. The owners need to put there hand in their pockets, update it and employ more people to run it. Maria, we loved you ❤
• 651hilaryh (10/5): Cala Ratjada lovely hotel - What a lovely, very central, hotel! We had a room on the 5th floor with fantastic views. The room was pretty, cosy and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfasts and dinner, though not offering a huge choice (for dinner), were fresh, good quality and excellent. We couldn't fault the hotel and we will definitely stay here again. Price per quality is very good. A lot of 4 star hotels nowadays are not as good as this one.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Sehr Zentral gelegen und für ein paar Tage ausreichend. Zimmer sind relativ klein war uns aber klar weil wir es ja so gebucht haben. Nur bitte kein Zimmer im Nebengebäude zum Hinterhof geben lassen.Aussicht ist sehr Getto mäßig und man kann nicht die Fenster öffnen. Es stinkt dermaßen nach Diesel von irgendeiner Anlage auf dem Gebäudedach her. Sonst ist das Essen echt 4 Sterne Wert. Jedenfalls würden wir wieder kommen.

El buffet libre es bueno, buena relación calidad-precio. Está bien ubicado en Cala Ratjada y es posible desplazarse al puerto y la zona turística caminando. Si he de volver a esa zona, sin duda repetiría estancia en este hotel.
• jills541 (10/5): Fantastic week at hotel Bella mar - Me my partner and son have just came back from a fantastic stay at hotel Bella Mar. There is nothing bad I can say about the hotel. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly couldn't do enough for you. My little boy fell and hurt his leg and the staff were so kind and supportive especially as Alfie has aspergers and takes a bit more care some times. The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern bedding changed regularly, every day if requested, every 2 days was enough for us and the room was cleaned to a high standard We stayed half board and have stayed in 3 star hotels before so we weren't expecting much when it came to the food. Thankfully we were pleasently surprised the food was amazing breakfast and dinner, lots of choice and good quality food, with lovely staff there to help you. The 2 pools are great one smaller one for the little ones but still big enough for adults to enjoy also. The hotel is situated in a great location right near the shops and 3min walk to the harbour All in all it was one of the best holidays we have had and as soon as we get a chance we will be back for another visit. Thank you hotel Bella Mar we loved it 😎
• jheather (6/5): Ok hotel- value for money in beautiful Cala ratjada - Room was nice and clean. Staff nice and polite. Food ok, fresh but a bit average. Good location (5 mins from the beach, restaurants, and shops) but can be loud outside sometimes at night. I was surprised to find out that there were no drinks (not even water, tea etc) included for dinner on half board and that toiletries like soap were not re supplied. I would recommend but please mind it is average but good value for money.
• KrisztinaSzigeti (2/5): I didn't sleep any night - We spent 10 nights in the hotel, but we couldn't sleep 1 night because of the jerk, peasant Germans. On the 1st floor, right next to the staircase, we had to listen to all the giggling gangs, and at dawn, before 7 am, the music was roaring, which the residents tried to overthrow. The staff aren't really interested in getting a man to rest. I tried to ask our neighbors to sleep at 4 am, but they shouted. The room number was never checked in the restaurant, so you can eat for free!

Staff are most helpful bar one receptionist. Food is good but won't be staying here again. Best part of hotel is lovely Maria who works in the dining room
• wienerwalzer80 (6/5): Hostel more than hotel - I spent 2 nights as the nearby Hotel Amoros, where I've booked my stay with a friend of mine, sent us there for an unclear reason. We weren't told why we had to move somewhere else even if they had our reservation... We were a bit disappointed even if this hotel was similar according to location and classification but however we had to move. Staff was friendly but spoke just german (I can speak german but it is not common and usually people communicate in English). The room was not very clean but, considering you spend most of the time outside, it is ok. Breakfast was quite good and I appreciated watermelon (absent in hotel Amoros). Location is very good being the hotel located in the center and 5 minutes from the bus stop. The only negative aspect is the kind of guests: groups of young Germans who speak loud and get drunk every night! The hotel should set rules for stopping such unpolite behaviour in respect of people who want to relax.

• misstukgal (4/5): Where to start.... - Hmmm well let's just say I wish I'd done my research beforehand! 3 hours to get to hotel, on arrival we were dropped at the top of the street and told to make our own way to hotel! Checked in to find this is a totally German resort! Never stated this on website, perhaps I should have read the reviews! Neither concierge or the staff could barely understand us, room small and very basic and dated, room door wouldn't close so within 5 minutes I wasn't impressed, however one member of staff did try and help us and the door issue was resolved! Breakfast was bland and repetitive ok if you like eggs, meat and cakes and cold coffee! Our room was facing a busy main road smack at the front of reception and across from the pool, noisy all hours of the day, not good at night either when your trying to get some sleep and rowdy Germans screaming and shouting or bin men clattering at 4am! The resort itself is very nice, we did manage to find a couple of restaurants who didn't mind us being there but all the others were rude against us kept us waiting to be served with both food and drinks! The final straw was our departure pick up time from the hotel, asked 3 times if they had it, twice was told to come back later as they didn't understand me! I ended up calling the transfer company myself! This may be a German resort but if they didn't want English people staying at the hotel then it should stipulate this when trying to book!! Definitely won't be returning

• Erin19682015 (8/5): Pro's and Con's - The staff at this hotel are amazing especially Pedro, Matteo, the guys behind the bar (always smiling) and the restaurant staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is great, always a different selection and tasty. It has a great choice of beaches nearby. The downside - the majority of the clientele are Germans under the age of 30 who get so drunk they have no respect for anyone or anything. We were in Room 108 which faces the square and there was not one night when they were not fighting/screaming at each other. They get back to the hotel and are so drunk they cannot remember where their room is and start banging on random doors. As I reiterate THE STAFF ARE AMAZING considering who and what situations they have to deal with. This was a little problematic for us as we were travelling with our little girl who is a light sleeper. BUT in summing up if you want a beautiful place to stay (Cala Ratjada) in a clean, hotel, with great food, and SPANISH staff that have the patience of saints, this is great value for money. To make your stay more comfortable a lobby, air conditioning, a reception and a hairdresser are available. The staff in this 6 storey hotel speaks German, Spanish and English. 2 fresh water swimming pools with a separate children's pool are available. Sunshades and sunbeds are available free of charge at the pool. The hotel is within easy reach of bus stops, bars and restaurants and supermarkets. Distance from the hotel to: Cuevas Arta (15 km). • moustik234 (6/5): Party Hotel - It was a nice stay. Employees are friendly but not so helpfull. Mostly we thought we were annoying them when we ask anything (except two of them). We were principaly young people and drinks were included in the all inclusive, just disappointed because wine was not include like the ice creams. Breakfast and Dinner were mostly correct, but not really various. All inclusive didn't include lunch or any tea breaks...The worst thing was the WiFi, not included we had to pay for it and once we had pay we found out the connexion was poor and not working well. It is a correct hotel at least, it is ok for party holidays.
