Guest Reviews
- Beckford (10/5): The staff there are very nice, property very clean and the food was very good - The fact that I have been there over 7 times in 2 years speaks volume Need more breakfast options
- Charlette (10/5): Amazing hotel and will be visiting again - Great location, very clean, friendly staff, amazing WiFi connectivity, comfortable beds, tennis court available if you wanted to use and a great gym that opened up really early. Loved the traditional food they offered too. Archer who served the breakfast/drinks was absolutely fantastic!! Everyone needs someone like Archer. Thanks again N/A
- Bertino (8/5): My stay was nice and relaxing and very comfortable. - The breakfast was really good. The location was convenient. There were too many leaves in the pool.

- Lenore (8/5): I wanted a quiet home like situation for my trip , and you provided it. Thank you ! - I enjoyed the real Jamaican food! Fresh tasting yellow yam and sweet potatoes. The best in a long time! The patio door seemed frail, and the first night I was a little nervous….can someone enter from there while I sleep? However, I prayed and trust God for my safety. I slept well every night after that.
A little improvement on that door would be good.
- Jeremain (9/5): -
- Juliana (6/5): Very good value for money - The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were really friendly and acted on feedback given. Very good value for money. There was a lot of noise at night.
- Oneil (8/5): - A bigger modern tv The small tv
- Judy (8/5): A little gem in Kingston town - A little gem in Kingston town, a lovely space to relax and explore the locality. Polite and friendly staff, close to local amenities and popular tourist attractions. Nothing to add here
- Christine (9/5): Perfect for short stays in Kingston - The staff are exceptional. Very friendly, courteous, and helpful with any local queries that I had.
The grounds and public areas are beautifully kept, a good onsite gym, lovely swimming pool.
The room was comfortable, and clean.
The location is perfect, in the heart of New Kingston with easy access to restaurants, banks etc. I went for my early morning walk at Emancipation Park which is barely 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Just a 10 minute walk to catch the Knutsford Express to my next location or the airport. The room could do with some updating including having two working bedside lamps. There was one bedside lamp and it wasn't working.

- Willis (8/5): I had an excellent experience. It truly felt like a home away from home. - Excellent customer service. Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Meals are 10/10. I had no dislike.
- HavanaClubSilverDry (8/5): Comfortable vintage place - The place is like vintage, and very quiet. The room was comfortable with a lot of space and a desk for remote working. The breakfast is very simple. For bread they have only bagels, and not toasted.
- sharon (7/5): -
- Keithland (9/5): - All was good
- Jeremain (9/5): -
- Amahati (8/5): Good - Not much, checked in at 10 and left at 5.55am, no one was at the reception so left the key with security since I was rushing to the airport. Cleaner cups in the room.
- Simms (10/5): -
- Robert (9/5): Awesome! - Amazing staff! Nothing to like!
- Andrea (9/5): Great historical place. - I like the position, so near to the bus station and to the city center. Really safe area. Please guys, help the woman who is deal with breackfast. She was really aggressive in every response.
- sathis (8/5): - Room was big and reasonable. WIFI was ok. Staff was excellent. breakfast
- Domonique (7/5): Would stay there again. - It had a very cozy feel. It was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay there. The food options were limited, I’d have liked to see a little more variety

- Jean (5/5): The location was great but the room was extremely basic and very old and dated - Location Age of the property needs to be refurbished
- DeLeon (3/5): Very disappointed. - Great location and beautiful property. Romaine a the front desk was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was late, was always cold, no fruits, except a whole lot of mangoes that one that picked up. No juice. Only one server, she was never at the table. Kept on walking away as if she she did not want to work; not approachable, appears you're bothering her. had the same experience for 3 mornings, same server. Nothing....not a satifyiing stay this time. Was totally disappointed with my overall stay. Started from the room. Shower dirty with hair in the shower. Empty dispenser in shower. Hair was seen on the 2 lotion bottles sitting on the counter, one was half empty, no shampoo, no soap. Jamaican breakfast was ok, but constantly told you can't get this plus that, we don't have enough. Continental breakfast was never ready. Breakfast late, was always cold, no fruits, except a whole lot of mangoes that one that picked up. No juice. Only one server, she was never at the table. Kept on walking away as if she she did not want to work; not approachable, appears you're bothering her. had the same experience for 3 mornings, same server. On one occasion the receptionist had to go inside the back area and got individual glasses of juice for each guest present. TV did not work, per staff they are in the process of changing out the boxes. A/C stopped working, maintenance had to reset it.
- Shemar (10/5): My stay was memorable and amazing one thankfully for your stay Mekada that made it possible. - I would like to start off saying it’s a calm and peaceful environment. your staffs are well mannered and helpful but the person that stood out for me was a female called mekada she’s a life saver throughout the entire booking to appearing journey and I would love for you guys to help me commending her for her excellent customer service. That i had to return home.
- Ferdinand (8/5): - The location is always a win. In the heart of new Kingston so you can't lose. Excellent service as always. The television was down most of the time, which was an ISP issue. But, that creaky bed was a challenge.
- ERROL (9/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Best Place To Stay in New Kingston - The location for one but also because of the surroundings , you feel like you are separated from the busy city of Kingston Although the food isn’t bad there have been many changes in the restaurant . The continental breakfast is average at best and you should have the option of ordering what you want and not be forced to eat the buffet . I know the Liguenea Club will figure this out .
- Gail (8/5): -
- Anthony (9/5): Cooper - Good location to my event. Breakfast was great.Staff was amazing. Room was clean nothing to complain about. Nothing
- Gardner (8/5): - Everything
- Kennedy (10/5): Can’t wait until our next stay - Our stay was wonderful Loved the property
- Shereen (8/5): Overall they tried their best with everything.. - The breakfast was ok The breakfast needed to keep warm throughout the time. It wasn't. The taste was fine.
- Carlos Alan (10/5): - El hotel está en el centro de kingston, asi q la ubicación es perfecta. Caminando puedes ir al supermercado o restaurantes. Todo estaba limpio y la atención es buena
- Mary (6/5): - Having had confirmation of booking - 2 days later received email to say that room not available. They did however offer another category of room for the same price.
Had to email to receive confirmation of the alternative.
- WAYNE (9/5): I am definitely returning. Even got an application for membership. - I liked it overall. Nothing, so far.

- Jacqueline (9/5): Would recommend and stay again - Location, facilities and amenities. N/a
- Ellie (10/5): Oasis of calm - It was an oasis of calm!!! Loved our stay here. Nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Kingston. It’s not modern but super clean, great facilities and lovely staff. I’d come back here every time any future time I’m in Kington. Breakfast was very average and cold (but still fully recommend the property!)
- Melissa (6/5): I enjoyed my stay here the staff was great kind safe. I didn’t worry about my safety not once. The breakfast included if - It was quiet peaceful It could be updated the rooms make it a little modern paint tv . The restaurant could have better lunch options more Jamaican food.
- wright (5/5): - The location All that noise that was coming from across the way was rocking the windows doors and extremely loud at times becoming unbearable to ones ears made sleeping very hard.
- Jennifer (8/5): Pleasant - The location. The staff were friendly. The restaurant could operate in a more efficient manner. Had to wait a very long time to get breakfast service.
- Adrian (10/5): -
- Tove (9/5): -
- Daila (7/5): - The staff was very helpful and courteous. Location was great. There was no elevator, facility was very outdated, the headboard was loose and banged on the wall with the slightest movement and breakfast was inedible due to it's extreme saltiness.
- Jeremain (9/5): -
- Njoroge (8/5): - Loved that the room was spacious, fresh and very clean. Everything was excellent apart from the breakfast. Breakfast for 2 people took an hour to prepare yet they had said it will take 10 minutes. We almost missed our flight.

- Omar (8/5): - Good
- Carol (9/5): Unprofessional Security guard - The food was good The security at the gate on the night shift 03/25 was very disrespectful and argumentative. Poor customer service and didn't even direct me to the location of my room which was #33 and a very far distance from the security guard and the place was not well lit. I know this is not the culture of the facility since I have been staying there since the last 15 years. The security guard needs to be managed properly.
- Mahone (8/5): Sufficient for a quick overnight stay - A bit rundown but still comfortable Breakfast was cheap
- Andrea (5/5): - The room The food
- Natureboy 00 (10/5): Comfortable - Location and breakfast
- Shenae (8/5): -
- Denvie (8/5): -
- Sabrina (10/5): - Très bon accueil, au calme et chambre bien équipée
- Shauna (6/5): -
- kenneth (8/5): Pleasant and relaxing, would highly recommend to whoever is looking for affordable accommodation in the New Kingston are - I really liked the location. Pleasantness of staff especially the ones at the front desk. Breakfast was cook. Even though it is a grand building Victorian or Georgian style building, maybe it is also a listed building as well. I think that the building is due for some Minor upgrades and renovation just to keep pace with the other buildings in the surroundings. Not a major dislike but I think that is something that the management should consider doing.
- Cassel (9/5): - The persons at the front desk let you feel very welcoming. One of the server at breakfast was unpleasant
- Reid (9/5): -
- John (10/5): Very quiet and peaceful - It was really nice and quiet. I enjoyed my stay very much and my girlfriend as well. She wants to visit back again. 🫠10/10
- Brown (9/5): Great location & good Jamaican breakfast. - Great location & lovely Jamaican breakfast. Balcony floors need painting.

- Cassel (9/5): Great stay - The receptionists were very welcoming and displayed excellent customer service skills.
Upon approaching the desk they greeted you with an infectious smile, that was not fake.
The breakfast each morning was excellent. My only disappointment was with one of the server at breakfast. She has a turn off look.

- Nicole (9/5): Liguanea Club - Location
Staff
Clean Tha sound of hitting the tennis ball as early as 630am.
No good.
Great location.
Need to upgrade and maintain
- Fredrica (10/5): Great experience - Central clean relations plus the meal was an added value Nothing
- Aj53 (8/5): Good location and comfortable. - The location was good, we arrived late and the restaurant was closed. But we could easily walk to a nearby hotel to get some food and drink. The pool area was nice and the gardens well kept. Unfortunately we couldn't make the most of it as we were only there for one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. As the restaurant was being refurbished, the breakfast was a bit basic. The continental breakfast didn't seem freshly made. But hopefully that will be different next time we visit. There are no lifts, so if you have problems negotiating the stairs, ask for a ground floor room.
- MarBells (6/5): Staff and location are great, but... - This was my third time staying at the Liguanea Club. I love the traditional look and the location is unbeatable. The breakfast situation has improved considerably since my last stay a few months ago, with more choices. The front desk staff, Jermaine, Roxanne, and Romain are very pleasant and personable. The servers at breakfast were also pleasant, and one remembered me from my last visit four months earlier. Unfortunately, while the staff and location remain a reason to stay, the facilities leave a lot to be desired. There was no bar soap in the room, and when I asked, I was told the delivery hadn't come. We used the usual bath gel provided in the rooms to wash our hands, but then when we ran out and I asked for more, I was given shampoo instead because that was what was available. So we were expected to wash our hands with bath gel and bathe with shampoo. There were mosquitoes and a moth in the room, but I didn't see the point in complaining. The faucet in the bathroom is badly tarnished, making it appear dirty, and missing the C at the top of the cold water faucet, leaving a hole in the faucet. It just doesn't look professional. I would also add locks to the bedroom door as the only lock is the type where you turn the small tab on the actual door handle. I felt safer placing the iron board behind the door so at least I would hear if someone tried to open the door.
