• HIROAKI (5/5): 大型ホテルで直前予約でも宿泊できました - 建物は古いが清掃はされています。スタッフは3人と話しましたが2人は優しく1人は嫌な態度をされ人によります。近くにコンビニやレストランなどもあり、夜の市場は楽しめます。 シャワーの排水が悪く水たまりになります。 市街から離れたロケーションも静かであればよいですが山側（西側）の部屋は朝の7時過ぎから洗車業者の高圧洗浄機の音が一日中うるさいです。 部屋も広いわけでもないし施設も古く観光に出るにはタクシーが必要な立地でサービスがあるわけでもない、価格がだいぶ高く感じました。
• Felicitas (7/5): Gute Lage, unbequemes Bett - Ruhige Lage, dennoch war man schnell in belebteren Gegenden (Maya Shopping Mall, One Nimman). Hotelpersonal konnte sehr schlecht Englisch sprechen. Rauchgeruch im Zimmer. Zimmer war zwar relativ geräumig, aber die Matratzen extrem hart. Frühstücksbuffet war OK, sehr wenig Optionen für Vegetarier.

• Paul (10/5): A nice stay in Chiangmai - This hotel looks like an old hotel from the outside and inside the lobby but the rooms look to have been modernised. There's is an old style telephone next to the toilet for same reason (It doesn't work)

• Rainer (7/5): Es war für 4 Tage halbwegs ok ! - Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war ok ! Es war etwas altmodisch und in die Jahre gekommen ! Es tropfte Wasser von der Decke und es dauerte 3 Tage bevor der Schaden behoben wurde.

• Olivier (5/5): Welcome to the 19th century! 😏 - The staff were efficient and responded well to requests. With period costumes, horses, and carriages, everything would have been perfect for the 19th century. The problem is, we're in the 21st century! I think there's a lot of work to be done to modernize this hotel. Perhaps some people appreciate this atmosphere, but we don't.

• Giovanna (8/5): Best hotel for conventions and large groups - We loved our stay at The Phucom Hotel,there was a dance festival we attended at the very place,upon arriving we found this hotel very austere and dark but we later appreciated it is almost entirely covered in teak wood.Our room was on the ninth floor and it was very large,almost like a small apartment with a wide window showing the mountains.Bed was comfortable,sheets clean and smelling fresh,chamber ladies ready to please any request you have of extra towels,coffee or tea with a smile.We realized the Phucom is as large as a small airport that's why is so popular with conventions and tour buses,we have never seen so many buses in one place,because of the size of this hotel and the insulation by the wood it is always quiet and yet it is located under the flight pass and on one of the busiest main roads of Chiang Mai.Breakfast needs some help We found breakfast was unispiring and the location on a road extremely busy and not easy to cross
• Simon (8/5): Very good - Although the hotel is old, it is very well maintained and clean. Bed is very comfortable and I loved the wooden structures very much. The swimming pool is quite big and peaceful. Location is good as able to walk to the shopping area and eateries. Don't really enjoy the breakfast as very monotonous. Everyday nearly the same food. Quite strange that bottled water must pay.

• Stephanie (7/5): Pleasant stay close to conference centre with amazing views. - Good location, close to conference centre. Amazing views. Comfortable, spacious room. Nail salon and traditional Thai massage parlour on-site. Not necessarily a negative, but most guests seemed to be Thai tour groups and staff spoke minimal levels of English. Quite far out of the city centre, so has to catch lots of Grabs. Pool was not functional.

Not far from the local markets and attractions. Staffs are nice and friendly. The place is quite old, but it’s still functional. Therefore, it’s not a big deal at all 😊
