• Davide (10/5): - Ho trascorso una settimana all’Hotel Alexander the Great a Marsa Alam ed è stata davvero una bellissima esperienza. Lo staff è stato sempre molto gentile e disponibile, pronti ad aiutarti per qualsiasi esigenza e sempre con il sorriso. L’hotel è ben curato, perfetto per chi cerca relax e tranquillità, e offre anche un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Ma la cosa più spettacolare in assoluto è la barriera corallina: davvero stupenda, con un mare incredibile, ideale per fare snorkeling e godersi la natura. In generale è stata una vacanza che rifarei volentieri e che consiglio a chi vuole staccare e vivere il mare di Marsa Alam.
• ChrisZwahlen (9/5): - Die Anlage hat uns sehr gut gefallen, erwähnenswert ist die Möglichkeit zusätzlichen Massagen nehmen zu können. Wir haben das nach unserer Tauchwoche sehr geschätzt und liessen uns gerne massieren. Auch die Lage und das Meer hat uns gefallen, wie auch unser Zimmer so direkt mit Meerblick. Eigentlich gibt es nicht viel was wir zu beklagen haben, ausser vielleicht das der ausgeschenkte Alkohol extrem verdünnt ist. Und das man am Morgen wenn man eine Liegestuhl am Meer möchte, sehr früh aufstehen sollte, oder den Personen ein paar Dollar zu steckt.
• Lorenzo (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana all’Alexander the Great Resort a Marsa Alam e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Il resort è ben curato e dispone di un’ampia spiaggia, perfetta per rilassarsi. Il vero punto forte è la barriera corallina, semplicemente stupenda: ideale per chi ama fare snorkeling e godersi il mare. Le stanze sono spaziose, belle e confortevoli, mentre lo staff è davvero il top: sempre disponibile, gentile e pronto ad aiutare in ogni situazione. Un’ottima scelta per chi cerca relax, mare spettacolare e un ambiente accogliente.

• Davide (9/5): Sono stato benissimo - Il resort è praticamente sul mare, nessune ripide discese per raggiungerlo tutto in piano, spiaggia sempre pulita ed attrezzata, personale efficiente e cordiale. Il ristorante offre una buona varietà di piatti e la sera lo chef fa un dolce dal vivo con una crespella fatta al momento deliziosa Il grill restaurant
• Lili (10/5): - Avevamo scelto il resort un po indecisi. Era la nostra prima esperienza nel resort. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo fatto lunghe passeggiate sulla riva del mare. La mia prima esperienza di snorkling. Tutto lo staff gentilissimo. La cucina un po locale, ti devi addatare ma, trovi sempre qualcosa che possa piacerti.I vari caffe vengono distribuiti dalla macchina. Un grazie al pasticere che si trovava alla sera sempre fuori e ci regala la sya sfogluata sottile , dolce e buonissima. Grazie alla signoraa che preoarava il oane al forno tutte le sere. Se si vuole spendere di piu ci sono due ristoranti: uno Italiano e l' altro Grill. Le due piscine nel cortile interno bellissime e molto curate. Noi abbiamo acquistato tre trattamenti in coppia presso la SPA e siamo rimasti soddisfatti dei massaggi . La spiaggia curata e con tutto quello di cui hai bisogno. Per noi e stato tutto meraviglioso!🫠
• monika (3/5): scarso - COLAZIONE BUONA IL RESTO MOLTO A DESIDERARE, sempre le stesse cose, la pasta immangiabile, dolci molto scarsi e frutta altrettanto. credo sia bisogno di una aggiornamento il villaggio è molto diverso dalle foto che avete pubblicato. Vecchio , malconcio e mancanza di aggiusti adeguati, avuto problemi ben due giorni con perdita acqua nel bagno, chiesto più volte intervento di un idraulico, wf quasi inesistente. sicurante non sarà un villaggio che dove si ritornerà pur amando marsa alam
• Mahmoud (10/5): - Świetny hotel w Marsa Alam! Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie, wszyscy mega mili i pomocni, naprawdę czuć dobrą atmosferę. Animacje super, codziennie coś się dzieje. Jedzenie bardzo dobre, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Śniadania, lunche, kolacje - zawsze świeże :) Klaudia z Guest Relations to prawdziwy skarb tego hotelu. Uśmiechnięta, pomocna, wszystko ogarnia od ręki i naprawdę dba o to, żeby goście czuli się zaopiekowani :) Świetne miejsce na wakacje, zdecydowanie polecamy!

Dalla spiaggia c’è un pontile che porta alla barriera corallina che è stupendo. Super gentile il receptionist mohamed salah, che ci ha aiutati durante il soggiorno.

Il personale è super gentile, un ringraziamento speciale a Abdul delle escursioni, Rosa e Clara animatrici che sono super simpatiche e la ragazza bionda della reception. Il relax è assicurato.

• Gabriele (7/5): Average hotel - The staff were courteous, especially Sultan the omelette specialist. The bread-making lady was very nice to us. The house reef location was good. The entertainment was funny. The bathtub curtain and towel railing were old. The head of the waiters in the restaurant was treating his staff in a very harsh way, unacceptable behaviour of him. The food quality was low on average, cheese was bad, but I guess it's hard to get food in the middle of the desert. We had stomach problems probably because of the salads not being fresh all days , every day.
• NagyNemes (10/5): I was happy ín this Hotel. - The hotel was great. Not luxurious, but extremely friendly, clean. The staff is polite, helpful, everyone smiles, I only think of everyone with love. The food was also satisfactory for us, it was always enough. They also brought a fruit plate to our room. It was my birthday the day after we left, but they brought a cake in the evening. There is a sandy part of the beach suitable for swimming and there is a coral wall from the pier. We have no reason to complain, in fact... I warmly recommend it to anyone who values ​​friendly, pleasant relaxation over luxury. Excellent value for money. Thank you for everything MG Alexander. I won't say anything bad, because what I didn't like is insignificant, not worth mentioning.

• Šárka (9/5): Skvělé! - Moc krásná pláž, skvělý přístup do vody. Jak mělčina, tak i přístup přes molo na potápění. Velmi milý a nadstandardně ochotný personál. Hotel je sice “obyčejnější”, žádný luxus, nicméně odpovídá ceně. Za nás maximální spokojenost. Jídlo by mohlo být lepší a pestřejší. Nicméně, na dovolenou nejezdíme za jídlem, takže žádný problém. :-)
• iris (10/5): Gran arrecife y relax. - Tienen acceso a la barrera de coral, muy cuidada u protegida. Hasan, housekeep era muy amable y profesional. La habitación estaba siempre perfecta. Ofrecen paseo en camellos y caballos! El camello está atado todo el rato por una pata sin poder moverse. En pleno siglo XXII es inaceptable que estén así los animales salvajes.

• Csaba (9/5): Másodszor voltunk itt, nagyon szeretjük ezt a szállást. - Kedves segítőkész személyzet. Kényelmes szoba Bőséges ételek, italok minden napszakban. A fürdőszoba kicsit elavult.

• Miłosz (10/5): - Pobyt w tym hotelu był rewelacyjny! Pokój był bardzo komfortowy (mega wygodny materac), a pan od sprzątania – Rahman – prawdziwy mistrz! To, co potrafi wyczarować z ręczników, to małe dzieła sztuki 😊 Plaża cudowna, czysta, piaszczysta. Na plaży znajduje się też bar. Jedzenie również dobre, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Jedzenie dostępne praktycznie przez cały dzień śniadanie, obiad, przekąski, kolacja - nikt nie będzie chodzić głodnym. Muszę też szczególnie pochwalić barmana Arkmana, który robi najlepsze drinki i zawsze jest uśmiechnięty oraz mega uprzejmy. Cała obsługa hotelu zasługuje na ogromny plus – życzliwi i pomocni. Ogromne podziękowania należą się również Klaudii, przemiłej Polce pracującej w hotelu – pomogła nam zarówno przed przyjazdem, jak i w trakcie pobytu, za co jesteśmy jej bardzo wdzięczni. Na pewno jeszcze tu wrócimy! ☀️🏖️

• Marco (10/5): Ottimo soggiorno - Mi sono trovato bene, barriera corallina molto bella tuffandosi dal pontile. Bella camera con vista mare e lo staff gentilissimo, ringrazio in particolare Mohamed Salah della reception che ha fatto di tutto per rendere piacevole il mio soggiorno e anche il lifeguard sul pontile Mahmoud, un grande amico. Il cibo non mi ha particolarmente soddisfatto, dovrebbero migliorare qualità e scelta.
• Rabee (7/5): تقييمي جيد عدا المطعم يجعله سئ - #تحيه و تقدير للأستاذ محمد صلاح حيث كان في استقبالنا و حقيقي مهذب جدا و متعاون جدا جدا .. و قام بعمل جيد معنا بالفعل # تحياتي ايضا للأستاذ عمران اضافه مهمه للمكان عندما تذهب للمطعم الإيطالي او مطعم المشويات تعرف كيف يتعاون معك و يقوم بعمل اللازم #تحياتي لفريق الانيميشن حقيقي شباب رائع # تحياتي للست المحترمه التي تعمل الخبز المصري حقيقي طعم رائع و بشوشه جدا المطعم الرئيسي اسوء شئ في هذة الرحله . لقد ذهبت الي أماكن كثيرة في شرم الشيخ و الغردقه و لم اري مثل هذا المطعم من طريقه التقديم و ايضا الجودة التي لم اري اسوء منها . حقيقي اتمني تغيير فريق عمل المطعم لاستمرار هذا المكان لان تقييم اي مكان يبدء من المطعم
• Di Palo (1/5): Anche il peggio ha una fine. - Esclusivamente il mare Tutto. Iniziando dall’inizio: arrivo in struttura e nessuno ci accoglie per indirizzarci alla reception. La camera era, appena ci è stata consegnata la chiave, sporca e con le lenzuola piene di macchie, così come gli asciugamani. L’odore dell’intera stanza era terribile. La cucina ancora peggio e con poca varietà di pietanze. Il personale, in particolare in spiaggia, insistente, maleducato e che a tutti i costi cercava di venderci servizi extra non richiesti. Non consiglio assolutamente questa struttura.

• Simona (9/5): Mein toller Urlaub im Egypten im Hotel MG Alexander the Great - Sehr schöne Bademöglichkeiten im Meer und auch im Außenpool, wunderbar für Familien mit Kindern und auch zum relaxen, Essen war international und Regional, es gibt ala Cart italienische Restaurant, Fisch Restaurant und auch Grill Restaurant. Große Angebot an Animation Programm, nettes Personal, besonders großes Lob an Herr Hassan und Ali Belmen aus der Rezeption, zum Hotel gehören auch paar Schopps, vielen Dank an Herr Mahmout für seine Freundlichkeit und gute Preise im Supermarkt. Ebbe und Flut, aber das gehört zum Meer 🌊 .
• Honey (10/5): Exceptional - We had an amazing stay! The hotel was super clean, comfy, and the food was honestly sooo good, there’s something for everyone. Pool, beach, vibes, all great. Every person working in hotel was very, very kind and helpful. But the real star was Klaudia from Guest Relations! ❤️ She’s just awesome, always smiling, super helpful. You really feel taken care of with her around. She made such a big difference in our stay, and we’re so grateful for that! Totally recommend this place and if you get Klaudia looking after you, you’re in good hands! 🙌
• Ziad (7/5): I got everything I needed from this trip the food comments aside but other than that it was good - Tourist and animation team were great and drinks at the bar were okay. The Italian restaurant was great, it was fine dining, the grill restaurant was good. The food in the main restaurant had a huge room for improvement, pasta station was horrible the omelette station was always busy and the deserts almost had no taste

The set menu of the buffet it’s the same all the days, my only comment is to have different set menu everyday this will be perfect

The pool area and sea view were breathtaking. The real highlight of our stay, however, was Mr. Waleed from the reception. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. He made sure every part of our stay was smooth and enjoyable, and his hospitality made a big difference—we truly felt at home thanks to him. There wasn’t anything major we didn’t like. If anything, the variety of food options could be slightly improved, especially for guests staying longer.

• Elke (8/5): Sunny Marsa Alam resort with a variety of animation - The resort is 30 minutes from Marsa Alam airport. I had a standard garden room and was very happy about that. The room was far away from the evening animation area and close to the beach. The cleaning person did a proper job and was friendly. There is a large animation area (theater and stage) which is busy every night as well as a club that can also get busy. The beach area was lively with aqua gym, Zumba and lots more. Special thanks goes to Waleed Fo at reception who helped me sort out some requests. I really appreciated the quieter garden room close to the beach area. The food quality and choices should be improved.

I had an issue in the beginning with my all inclusive drinks but they were able to resolve the issue. Good food with enough variety in the buffet. • Maya (3/5): I would not recommend it, bad odors in several rooms - Service staff is really, really friendly and wants to help. There is a lady baking fresh bread everyday which is really lovely. I really don’t recommend this resort. It’s in desperate need of a complete refurbishment. Rooms and shared spaces are incredibly worn and many have bad odors. The last room I stayed in had shower curtains that have turned yellow and smelled noticeably very, very bad. Noise is also an issue in rooms near the main pool. Food options are limited and incredibly disappointing in quality and taste.

• Andy (5/5): This is not a four star hotel, I would give it max. 3 stars // but it was cheaper then the regular 4 star hotels - Location not too far from airport/Marsa Alam/ Elphinstone reef for super dive spots, friendly staff, rooms were clean and spacious, close to the beach Lots of plastic/dirt on the beach Even on the house reef lot of plastic floating under the water. They (staff/tourists) throw plastic on the beach just next to the boundaries of the hotel: this all gets back in the sea Reparations needed in the room (toilet/shower/sprayer) Expensive souvenirs/shop/doctor/excursions Really trying to rip of the tourists instead of requesting a fair price (5 times a fairly high price) Too much sales people questioning non stop in the first days Pool not so clean, hurt the eyes (chlorine?), lots of sand in the water Toilets on the beach really dirty and stinking: clean the place more often! Drinks during daytime all in super bad plastic cups that are so light they fly everywhere when there’s a bit of wind. Get proper cups all the time and get more people to wash them instead of throwing hundreds of bags of plastic away every day Food was very poor: no taste/spices -> pizza’s got burned/ fish was still raw/ Dive Center needs more/better material for rent The jetty wasn’t accessible: difficult to go to the house reef Staff is sometimes more busy trying to entertain guests instead of doing a proper job (restaurants)

• Moomen (10/5): Exceptional - Staff are amazing,, really helpful, room was so clean and big for me and my family, animation team really good , Food and beverage team doing their best to make everyone satisfied and the ala cart restaurant was so tasty... Maybe will visit it again Food in the main restaurant alot of it wasted because some items missing the good taste, the hotel need more staff in the main restaurant was feeling sorry really for the workers and i think would be great if new sections open do avoid the long waits for picking the food and makes the stress less on the staff , the quality of food in the main restaurant needs to be same as in the ala cart ones. Also there is a lake between rooms hope it will be fixed as its a perfect spot for mosquitos .
• Mahmoud (8/5): Safe and enjoyable. - Staff were great, always proactive and addressed everything that we wanted. They constantly checked with us if things were fine. The hotel and rooms were clean and our room was spacious with a beautiful sea view. Special thanks to Mr. Mohammad Abbas and Mr. Mohamed Salah from hotel reception and management and also Mr. Hassan the restaurant manager. Food was acceptable quality, however, I feel that there should be much more variety and better food quality.

• Bill (10/5): Excellent stay and I will stay there a third time - The best part of this resort is the staff. Always friendly, courteous and helpful. I would especially like to thank Duaa at reception. She was great at checkin and gave me an excellent rate when I wanted to stay an extra day and she arranged dinners at the Italian and Grill restaurants. Great service with a warm personality! The wifi can be a bit weak in parts of the resort. The signal in my section of the resort wasn’t that good at times. Suggest adding French Fries the menu

We had business meetings and were returning after the lunch time (as it is all inclusive), hotel staff prepared lunch for us and left it our rooms. This was a great gesture !! Food was good too and the atmosphere is very cosy. On checkout, I was pleasantly surprised that they prepared lunch boxes for us as we were flying out of hurghada !! Over all very please with the stay ! Everything was good!

• خطاب (8/5): Great experience with some caveats - Everyone treated us like VIPs. Anything we asked for was done immediately with enthusiasm, generosity, politeness, and friendliness. Mr. Mohammed Abbas, the manager, was onto every detail and followed up personally on our every need. All the staff were very dedicated, nice, and hardworking. The food was not bad, but was disappointing still. Only very few items were good. The AC was not effective enough, but it was OK. The worst thing was the location. Don't go driving like we did. Take a plane to Marsa Alam, then take the hotel's shuttle.
