• David (10/5): Lovely!! - Great little traditional hotel on the seafront at the edge of the old town. Used many times for a night or two stay or a day hotel when we have late evening flights back to the UK. Location
• martine (5/5): - avons logé coté rue à l'arrière et cela était très bruyant, les derniers clients entendus aux restaurants en contrebas jusqu'à 1h30!!!!! limiter l'horaire des restaurants à minuit?! ajouter des volets? pas sûr d'une efficacité totale car il y en avait 1 sur 2 et en bois.

• Lynne (8/5): Couples holiday - We stopped one night on our way back from Albania. We walked from the port about 25 min walk following the sea to our left. The hotel is a great location for wandering around the old town with bars, cafes, restaurants all around and lots of souvenir shops and small supermarkets. We had a good sized room The bathroom was compact but had a nice shower although it was small. We had a kettle and small fridge. There is a small lift available to each floor as reception is on the first floor. We had a small balcony and window overlooking the sea front and could see the sea front, port and cruise liners it was a lovely view. We were able to leave our bags in storage for the day after checking out as we had a late flight home. Would definitely stop again. Nothing although the hotel is slightly dated/old fashioned

• David (8/5): Convenient place to stay overnight, good value for money - Very central with good views of the harbour. Helpful staff. Breakfast available at the Agora Taverna beside the hotel. Somewhere to store luggage.

• James (10/5): Comfortable and very convenient location - We were able to check in early which was very helpful. The room was comfortabe and clean. The street outside was quite busy, with cars and people speaking loudly into the early hours of the morning, but it was to be expected and didn't disturb us too much.

It was early season and meals weren’t served. The room was a triple but the third bed made it cramped. Slightly old-fashioned, which I like, but charging points would have been nice

• David (8/5): Great spot to stay in old town - Great location within walking distance of all the old town’s key attractions plus restaurants, shops etc. the bed was comfy and a nice bathroom. The WiFi was terrible. It is fairly pricey for what you get.

• Elisabeth (10/5): Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, in das wir gerne wieder kommen möchten! :) - Das beste Hotel um zu Fuß die Altstadt zu erkunden und nach einer Shopping Tour mit gutem Abendessen ist man schnell wieder zuhause… Wir haben es sehr genossen, dass wir durch die Lage des Hotels gleich in der Fußgängerzone waren! Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen und im Cafe/ Restaurant im Erdgeschoss des Hotels ausgezeichnet gefrühstückt! Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir würden gerne wieder hier wohnen!

• Raymond (9/5): Really enjoyable stay ,great location and spectacular view from the room. - Full of character and history The hotel was opened in 1878 and has been renovated over the years and gives you a feel of how travel was decades ago. Hard to describe the ambiance of the hotel but it was a very special place to stay. We chose the hotel because of its location as well as its past and can’t rate our stay highly enough Loads of restaurants with two either side of the hotel entrance and also taxis straight across the road If I had to find a single fault the room had a great shower but tended to soak the bathroom floor but don’t let that deter from staying there it was a great hotel
• annette (7/5): Great location. Comfortable if a little dated - Great location on the edge of the old town with fabulous harbour views. Comfy beds, new bathroom. It’s fairly noisy but does have double glazing and air con but we had the windows open. You can walk to the airport in about 40 minutes but we were knackered from walking around the town so got a taxi. It was £17 euros which I felt was good value considering the location It’s very old and quite tired looking. If you saw it from the outside you probably would walk right past. It’s quite expensive for what it is but then you’re paying for the location. Reception is on 1st floor but there is a lift as the stairs are stone . The balcony is tiny and not big enough to sit on. Corfu town itself is very busy with lots of big groups walking around so it must get incredibly busy at times. We went out of season (April 2026) so. Or too bad. Restaurants are expensive but if you stay away from the touristy areas and go out a bit you can save money and get more authentic cuisine

• Penelope (10/5): Beautiful, authentic hotel with amazing views and location. - The hotel was fabulous! We had a corner room with a fantastic view of the harbour. The location was excellent with the old town within easy walking distance and we even walked from the airport! The bathroom was modern and clean, however, the shower was a little too powerful for the shower cubicle and consequently the floor became sodden with water after every shower. The shower itself was excellent though.

Very nice cafe downstairs with a good Greek coffee. WiFi . The worst WIFI I had in my life. This hotel is not practical at all if you should have teams call and work remotely.

Immediately adjacent to Old Town restaurants shopping and easy walking to key attractions. Great view of the port. What’s to not like? It’s rustic and 160 years old -if people want chrome and glass this isn’t it. We loved it.

• Yuanyuan (6/5): Below average stay - The lady by checkout was very nice! Location is close to old town. I had a corner room with a very small window so it was quite dark and extremely small. Definitely not worth 80 euro per day. There is no curtain for the shower, so once shower, the toilet and floor are all wet. Internet is super slow, so if you like me need to take some working calls, don’t bother. The table still had dust on it. Looks like not cleaned for a while.

Easy to walk to and from the ferry port and with a taxi rank directly opposite it’s a good stay for an early flight and simple access to Corfu airport. Rooms are adequate, bathrooms all modern and functioning well which is not always common in Greece. Take note of the central staircase it’s very impressive. Will most definitely stay here again. Our room had the usual kettle and cups supplied but for some reason without any tea or coffee sachets being supplied. When I queried this at reception I was informed that clients were expected to bring their own. Fair enough but this should be clearly mentioned on the web site.

• special (7/5): Έχει μια ιδιαίτερη γοητεία και σίγουρα είναι διαφορετικό και ενδιαφέρον. - Αυτό το ξενοδοχείο είναι χτισμένο γύρω στο 1840. Θα μπορούσε να είναι μουσείο αν είχε διατηρήσει περισσότερο τον αρχικό του χαρακτήρα, αλλά για να φτάσει στο σήμερα έπρεπε να τροποποιηθεί και να προστεθούν οι σύγχρονες ανέσεις. Αυτή η προσθήκη, ακριβώς επειδή το αρχικό κτήριο είχε την συγκεριμένη ηλικία, δεν έχει φτάσει το επίπεδο που θα έβρισκε κανείς σε ένα νέο κτήριο. Αν σε έλκει το παλιό και μπορείς να ζήσεις με τις επαρκείς αλλά σίγουρα όχι άψογες σημερινές ανέσεις, είναι σαν μια βόλτα σε άλλον αιώνα. Με την δομή που έχει το κτήριο, αυτό που θα μπορούσε να είναι καλύτερο, θα ήταν η επιμονή στο παλιό. Ακόμα και τα μπάνια, είναι μικρά, οριακά κάνουν την δουλειά τους, θα είχαν πολύ ενδιαφέρον αν είχαν προσπαθήσει να δώσουν έναν χαρακτήρα πιο κλάσσικό. Τα πατώματα είναι ξύλινα. Όχι ξύλα πάνω στο μπετό. Ξύλινα στη δομή τους. Αυτό μπορεί να το αισθανθεί κανείς όταν περπατάει. Έχει ενδιαφέρον, δεν ξέρω αν θα είναι για όλους έτσι.
