• Hannah (8/5): Very good value - The pool area was excellent and the location was very good. The bed wasn’t super comfortable for our liking but could have been a preference thing. Coffee machine didn’t seem to work and cleaning could have been better but overall for value it was very good.

• Lindsay (9/5): Fabulous apartment, great size and location - Very accessible apartment (had been to marachique multiple times (different apartment) everything you need Lack of hand soap , washing up liquid etc (small starter pack would be amazing) had read previous reviews so had taken dish wash tabs etc

• Loureiro (10/5): Feedback - Ambiente muito agradável e familiar. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. A casa possui todas as comodidades necessárias. A piscina é magnífica. Localização muito boa, quem tem carro facilmente consegue se deslocar para diversos sítios. A garagem é um pouco apertada para quem tem carros grandes, mas no exterior há sempre lugar para estacionar. As camas poderiam ser um pouco mais confortáveis, os colchões são duros mas a verdade é que isto vai do gosto pessoal de cada um.

• Andreia (10/5): Um lugar a voltar comcerteza 😃 - O apartamento é muito acolhedor e tem uma fantástica varanda que apanha bastante sol. A piscina é espetacular, enorme e este ano talvez devido à temperatura exterior a água da piscina estava a uma temperatura ainda mais apetecível. Recomendo vivamente Vila Marachique. Ideal para famílias com crianças pequenas - tem outra piscina também grande para os mais pequenos e um espaço verde envolvente fantástico para descansar ou para fazer atividades (dispõe de um parque infantil e um espaço com balizas para os mais pequenos) Dispõe ainda de uma rede de Voley para quem gosta de jogar. Tem o Intermarché mesmo em frente ao aldeamento.
• Alan (9/5): Lovely stay, close to alvor - Lovely pools and outdoor area, nice quiet location, supermarket across the street and helpful owner. Supplied a cot for our baby The beds were uncomfortable but the pull out sofa was great to sleep on
• Mark (9/5): Lovely apt in a lovely complex with a 15-20 walk to Alvor. - Apt was very nice. Clean and comfortable. Had everything needed for a self catering stay. Intermarche only across the road. Air con and TV available also for when needed. We’ve stayed in Vila Marachique before so knew the area. The pool is exceptional and the pool bar a real bonus. Residents at the pool need to provide their own pool umbrellas. There was none to use in the apt so had to purchase our own - which we had to leave behind then as couldn’t take it on flight home. Apt could have provided one for guest use? The shower in bathroom is undersized. Very difficult for grown adult to fit in and manoeuvre. Suitable for kids only. But there is an en-suite in main bedroom. But all in all we had a lovely and relaxing stay.

• Niall (9/5): Lovely apartment with everything you need in a great complex - Great complex with two big pools (baby and adult). The baby pool suited our 3 year old who was in it all day. Pool bar also great for food, snacks and drinks during the day. Apartment was really well equipped and had everything you would need for your stay! It is a bit of a walk to the village. Which wasn’t too bad going down, approx 15 mins walk. However with kids we had to get taxis home as the hill back up can be challenging
• Anna (6/5): Such a lovely apartment but not the most comfortable stay unfortunately as we really love the area - Location Space within the apartment Vila Marachique pool area Noise in the building was shocking most nights, we had no idea how to deal with it as there is no security so found ourselves having to ask other guests to please not bang the door or shout in the hallway in the middle of the night as we could hear everything and it woke us and the baby multiple times a night… There was almost nothing provided such as basic cleaning items, toiletries or condiments (don’t want to sound unreasonable but some bin bags or salt in the dishwasher would have been helpful) The removal of bedding from the second bedroom, we rented a 2 bedroom apartment specifically and it was very inconvenient that pillow cases & sheets were not provided in the room for us. The travel cot wasn’t really appropriate for an infant under 1 yo

• Elaine (6/5): Pool area makes it an ok place to stay but definitely better options available in Alvor - The pool area is large and spacious plenty of sun beds, nice pool bar Basic apartments with very limited facilities- no washing machine, extractor fan doesn’t work, basic supply of cutlery and delph. No facility to store luggage etc for late flight

• Mpolokeng (8/5): Beautiful property highly recommend - Beautiful layout and clean rooms. Such a comfort stay, the property has an amazing pool area and cafe and was nice location. The shower in the second bathroom is extremely small 🥲. Also there weren’t any condiments (sugar,salt,milk etc) just small things that really make a difference for a short stay self catering accommodation but the coffee capsules were available which was appreciated but tricky without any sugar. Other than that I loved the property and would definitely book again.

• Leslie (10/5): Biggest and best Apartment we have ever had. - Location was ideal for us as we have stayed in this area previously and it was handy for supermarket, restaurants and bus stops. ( I have COPD and PAD and can`t walk any great distance ) The pool was amazing, only downside being the pool bar was getting refurbished when we arrived and did not open till the day before we left. The apartment itself was fantastic and had absolutely everything you could need for an enjoyable self catering holiday and it was the largest apartment we have ever stayed in over the last 22 years of coming to the Algarve. The one negative thing we did not like was that the shower cubicle in the shower room was very small and neither my wife nor I could manage to get into it and have a shower, maybe alright for children to use.

• Maria (9/5): Great apartment, ideal location and has everything you need for a fab holiday - The location was perfect for us, the layout was great and it had everything we needed. Couple of niggles really, the utensils, crockery and glasses were dirty in the cupboards. The mattresses on the twin beds were rock hard and therefore very uncomfortable. The bed settee however was fine to use instead. Could be more responsive to messages, if there had been a problem then it would have been difficult to sort it out. Keysafe doesn’t fit the key and it was not in there when we arrived.

• Carine (1/5): Arnaque - Appartement moderne et propre Piscine appréciable Nous avons eu l’appartement 003 du Lote 9 et sur l’annonce, l’appartement est entièrement climatisé, c’est pour cela que nous l’avons réservé. Sauf que c’est une arnaque !! aucune pièce n’est climatisée !! (il y avait 2 ventilateurs mais ça n’a rien à voir avec la climatisation) nous avons voulu aller à la réception mais il n’y a plus de réception sur place… donc nous avons téléphoné (pas facile de se faire comprendre) mais la dame n’a rien voulu savoir. Elle devait nous apporter un 3eme ventilateur (pour qu’il y en ait un dans chaque pièce) mais nous n’en avons jamais vu la couleur. De plus, l’appartement ne convient pas pour 6 personne : nous avons eu uniquement 4 grandes serviettes et 3 petites. Le canapé-lit n’a même pas de linge de lit … super hygiénique … et nous avons essayé de contacter l’établissement avant notre arrivée pour savoir s’il fallait en prendre avec, jamais eu de réponse ! Bref, une arnaque car un appartement en bord de mer sans climatisation était bien moins cher.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Had a great time at Villa Marrachique - Villa Marrachique is a lovely complex, well maintained and very clean. we have stayed in Block 5 before , but not that apartment. apartment lovely and clean, beds comfy. Apartment had all we really required, but 2 pool passes instead of one would have made things easier, but we managed.
• Brenda (7/5): lovely complex - app was lovely, nicely fresh and bright. there was no cleaning at all in our 10 days. no cushions by the pool which was a pity.
