• Jürgen (10/5): Tolle kleine in sich geschlossene Apartmentanlage - Wunderbare, von sehr sehr netten Gastgebern geführte, kleine Apartmentanlage mit tollem Pool und schönen Zimmern. Aussicht top, uns hat die etwa 200m entfernte Straße absolut nicht gestört. Wir besichtigten von hier aus alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten im Westen der Insel. Anlage mit den gemütlichen Liegen am Pool ist in sich perfekt abgeschlossen. Supermarkt und Tavernen fußläufig gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. ---

• Lara (8/5): Ruhige Oase fernab des Massentourismus, ideal mit Kind und unschlagbar im Preis, wunderschöner Blick auf das Meer! - Bei dem Appartmentkomplex handelt es sich um eine kleine Oase an der Nordküste Kretas. Es ist ruhig, übersichtlich und sehr gepflegt. Das Betreiber-Ehepaar ist sehr freundlich und spricht gut Englisch. Sie wohnen selber dort und wenn sie mal nicht da sind gibt es eine Nummer, die man anrufen kann, sodass sie innerhalb von 5 min da sind. Wenn man nichts von ihnen braucht, bekommt man aber eigentlich nichts von Ihnen mit. Wir haben uns bei unseren Ausflügen immer lokale Insidertipps geben lassen :) Am Pool waren wir immer alleine (Oktober 2025), was wir mit Kind als sehr entspannt empfunden haben. Für unseren zweijährigen Sohn gab es einen Garten und einen Spielplatz zu entdecken! Außerdem grasen Schafe auf dem benachbarten Feld :) Die Unterkunft verfügt über alles was man braucht: Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Herd, Ofen, Sandwich-Maker, TV, Safe, Duschbad und ein Balkon mit wunderschönem Meerblick! Man kann sich also gut selber versorgen. Es kommt täglich eine Reinigungskraft vorbei und Handtücher werden gestellt. Für Autos stehen ausreichend Parkplätze direkt an der Straße zu Verfügung. Diese ist wenig befahren, die Parksituation dadurch sehr entspannt. Das benachbarte Örtchen Damia ist fußläufig zu erreichen (10 min), dort gibt es alles was man braucht: Supermärkte, Restaurants, Tankstelle, Apotheke, sogar ein Arzt. Auch das Meer ist fußläufig in 5 min gut zu erreichen. Der Strand ist allerdings sehr steinig, was wir als wenig attraktiv empfunden haben. Allerdings wird es ein bisschen weiter schon deutlich sandiger. Infrastrukturell ist die Unterkunft gut gelegen: Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße ca. 50 m entfernt. Mit dieser ist man auf der Insel gut angebunden: Georgioupoli 15 min (Fischerörtchen, Kapelle direkt auf dem Meer, schöner Spielplatz direkt am Parkplatz am Hafen), Argyroupoli 30 min (Bergdorf, sehr attraktiv) Rethymno 30 min (angespannte Parkplatzsituation, Tagesausflug aber gut möglich), Chania 1 Std. entfernt. - Pool etwas kalt (zur Hochsaison aber sicher angenehm) - Hauptstraße in der Nähe evtl. manchmal laut (haben wir aber nie als störend empfunden) - Kühlschrank mitunter sehr laut (haben wir nachts manchmal ausgemacht) - abends/nachts schnell viele Mücken im Zimmer (Fliegengitter wäre wünschenswert)

• Carole (10/5): Wonderful apartments. - We were self catering we were met by the owner who explained the area and where things were . He then showed us to our room where he explained everything in the room he also gave us complimentary drinks and water. The apartments were beautiful well equipped and spotlessly clean. The pool area was lovely. The cleaning staff removed waste/ rubbish from the room daily and exchanged linens and towels. We would not hesitate to recommend and return. Absolutely nothing.

• otto (10/5): - I přes pozdní příjezd ( v 22:30),vřelé přivítání, v ledničce malé občerstvení (pivo a nealko pití).Čisté pokoje(každý den úklid),úžasný bazén. Jezdíme na Krétu 10 let a toto bylo to nejlepší ubytování. Úžasní hostitelé ve všem poradí. Nedaleko jsou obchody a taverny. V případě další návštěvy Kréty se sem rád vrátím a velice doporučuji tyto apartmány jak pro jejich umístění a čistotu tak pro ochotný a vřelý přístup majitelů.
• helen (10/5): A comfortable and clean apartment with great sea view - A quiet location but only a 10 minute walk from the village which has a few restaurants, bars and shops. A large apartment equipped with everything we needed and a lovely sea view. It was comfortable and very clean. We hired a car and we were only a few metres from the main road of the island so it was easy to get around and visit places. The pool area was lovely although the bar was closed while we were there. Great staff.
• Nicole (10/5): - Fin dall’arrivo lo staff é stato molto cordiale. Il nostro volo era in ritardo e abbiamo avuto problemi con la Macchina , siamo quindi arrivati dopo la chiusura della reception. Lo staff ci ha comunque aspettati pazientemente . La stanza era molto grande , più di un solito monolocale , il balcone vista mare molto bello 😍 Pulizie perfette. Ritornerò presto , ciao ! ☺️

• Aurore52 (10/5): Un petit coin de paradis - Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au calme. Hôtel magnifique, très bien entretenu, entouré d'une belle végétation (palmiers, bananiers, fleurs et plantes en tout genre). Piscine au top, vraiment appréciable avant ou après une journée de visite. Notre chambre était immense, d' une propreté remarquable et très bien équipée (on peut facilement cuisiner du petit déjeuner au dîner). La literie était de très bonne qualité. Terrasse d'une belle dimension avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. Le tout géré par des hôtes charmants, d' une grande serviabilité et d'une gentillesse incroyable. Nous avons eu une contravention et ils n'ont pas hésité à prendre de leur temps pour nous tirer de cette situation embarrassante. • holger (9/5): - Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, gute Lage, sehr nah am Strand und top sauberes Zimmer. Ausblick auf das Meer und den Sonnenuntergang! Die Hauptverkehrsstrasse zwischen Chania und Rethymnion liegt sehr nah, mit entsprechender "Begleitmusik". Klimaanlage funktioniert prima, ist aber sehr laut. Aber man gewöhnt sich ja an alles 😉

• Mariusz (9/5): - Poledas Apartments bardzo mile nas zaskoczył. Obiekt ma świetny klimat, zadbaną i przyjemną część wypoczynkową oraz bardzo uczynnego gospodarza, który zawsze chętnie pomagał. Łóżka były wygodne, aneks kuchenny dobrze wyposażony, a basen rewelacyjny. Miejsce jest ciche i spokojne, a jednocześnie blisko do wszystkiego. Dodatkowym atutem jest piękna plaża tuż za ulicą. Zdecydowanie polecam! --- Poledas Apartments was a very pleasant surprise. The place has a great atmosphere, a well-kept relaxing area, and a very helpful host who was always ready to assist. The beds were comfortable, the kitchenette was well equipped, and the pool was excellent. It is quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything. As a bonus, there is a lovely beach just across the street. Highly recommended! Mrówki/ants

De eigenaar was ook super vriendelijk, je kon alles vragen. Je krijgt ook tips om lokaal te eten in de buurt, echt een aanrader! Verder was het er zeer rustig, wij vonden dit super aangenaam.

Great location close to shops, tavernas, supermarkets etc. Bus stop one minute walk away although it is reccomended tickets should be reserved in advance but the hosts will do this for you. Close to many beaches. Lovely pool in a garden oasis. nothing

It is in a convenient area as bus stops are no more than 5 mins walk. There is also a strip of restaurants and bars and supermarkets no more than 15 min walk. Thank you again for hosting us 😁

We stayed in a large family room which was perfect and had great air conditioning to help cool us down. The host was really friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do/places to eat in the local area.

The property was one of the best we have ever stayed at on a trip abroad we couldn’t fault it the property was very clean and very well looked after there was everything we needed at the apartments from parking for our hire car to pool there was a playground our children it was in a lovely part of the island there was mountains at the rear and beach at the front the owners were very hospitable nothing was to much we felt very safe and comfortable with our family here and would love to return in the future. • Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Poledas apartments feel more like a home than a hotel! The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful during our staff. They helped us book the bus (the bus stop is outside the hotel) and recommended places for us to go. They make the extra effort to make you feel welcome. The pool area is beautifully decorated and serene, with plenty of loungers available. Some noise from the main road nearby but we rarely noticed it and is the case for all hotels in this area anyway.

We traveled as a couple and loved every single detail of this accommodation: a beautiful position overlooking the sea, very close to the village center but distant enough to enjoy the amazing quiet, a beautifully decorated common area with nice and cozy swimming pool and an awesome garden, a super clean room with a very well equipped kitchenette (coffee brewer, kettle, toaster, pans and pots, fridge with welcome beverages, electric stove and even the oven!) if you wish to cook your own meals, everyday cleaning service. Not to mention the super nice and welcoming owners, Valantis and his family, always there to help you and offer you their support for any necessity. We visited Crete several times and this was without any doubt the nicest place we went to, out of any previous B&B or hotel. We would definitely go back without any hesitation and recommend it to anyone. Nothing

• John (10/5): Brilliant hospitality in a lovely place - I Stayed with my children here during the first week of August and we had a great time. The size of the room was more than adequate for 3 children and an adult, the bathroom was clean and the kitchenette was useful for making a cup of tea or preparing a sandwich (we ate out most days so didn't fully utilise the oven/grill or hobs). There was a good sized balcony with superb views of the sea and the beautiful sunsets. The room was cleaned daily by a lovely lady (who was very kind and understanding). The owners of this property were exceptional in their hospitality. They were very attentive and focused on the needs of their guests - There was always someone in the reception or just outside to wish you good day or kalimera and you almost felt like a family member not a paying guest such was their kindness. The grounds of the property are lovely with very healthy plants adorning the in between spaces and the perimeter. Myself and the children also loved the pool. As Poledas has only a few apartments the pool never felt crowded and most times we had the pool to ourselves which was lovely. Location wise, Poledas is situated just off the E75, just outside the village of Kavros. This means that it's a 15 minute drive to Rethymno and a 5 - 10 minute drive to Georgioupolis. The apartments are also very close to the beautiful lake Kournas with it's crystal clear water. The children absolutely loved Lake Kournas and it's a wonderfuly relaxing place to go where you can hire a paddle board/pedalo or go for a swim. There's also a lot of good tavernas around Lake Kournas with exceptional views of the lake, mountains and sea. I would definitely recommend Poledas apartments. It was clean, quiet, relaxed and the hosts were superb. I found the whole area of Kavros/Georgioupolis to be very family oriented and very safe and would definitely recommend it to others.
• Michal (10/5): Super clean apartment with very friendly staff ! - Absolutley amazing stay!! We came here after 4 not nice days in different hotel and we were amazed with this place and our hosts !! Very nice friendly staff, pool cleaned daily.Room cleaned every day at the high standard. On check in we got free gift - basket with fruits and wine , we felt so welcomed. At the check out again small gift! Location, we had car so location for me was good. Hotel was around 500m from the beach but we still had sea and mountain view. Shops and Taverns all walking distance from hotel. At check in we got many information about places to visit. You could really feel the nice, cretan atmosphere here. If I ever come back to Crete I will come back to Poledas!

View - mountains and sea from balcony ❤️ People - super lovely. Room - comfortable & clean. More spacious than expected. Pool - clean & nice layout. Having to come home!
• Miloslava (9/5): Superb - The place is amazing and the host was very kind and welcoming. Even offered our children peaches from his garden. It is close to the beach, close to restaurants and shops. Kavros village has nice long sandy beach. Apartment was spacious, cleaned every day with balcony facing the sea and green garden. The swimming pool was well taken care of surrounded by flowers. The location is quiet but walking distance from the village center.
• Okyalos (8/5): A nice place to stay at Georgioupolis. - The family room was really comfortable for a family of 4. The location of the property is ideal if you have a car and would like to visit both Rethimno and Chania. The owner was really helpful and was sharing information for nice restaurants and sight seeings in the area. Our room was missing a curtain at the bathroom.
