• Sophia (10/5): Comfortable stay with excellent transport links - Lovely single room on the first floor. The road is busy with a tram stop right opposite, but it’s quiet and the black out curtains mean the street lights aren’t a bother. The room was clean and comfortable. The room wasn’t massive, but for one person it’s adequate. The staff were friendly. The heating worked well as it was cold outside! The WiFi is great and you can stream easily. Two areas for improvement, the hallway echoes, so when people come back at 2 in the morning you hear everything because there is nothing to absorb the sound, which is unfortunate. Also, whilst it is a single room 1 pillow and 1 towel is a bit rubbish. Two pillows and two towels would have made the stay much easier and more comfortable. The hotel is well located for eateries and the tram stop is a minute over the road. Would definitely recommend as a good value option in good proximity to Cologne.

• Melissa (6/5): - Bei unserer Ankunft am Hotel war die Beschilderung zunächst verwirrend. Mehrere Schilder wiesen auf den Hoteleingang hin, jedoch wurde uns die Tür von einem Mitarbeiter direkt vor der Nase geschlossen. Anschließend wurden wir von verschiedenen Angestellten darauf hingewiesen, dass sich der Eingang auf der Vorderseite befinde. Dieser führt jedoch ins Restaurant, was durch die Schilder nicht eindeutig zu erkennen war. Die allgemeine Atmosphäre während unseres Aufenthalts empfanden wir als unangenehm. Besonders negativ aufgefallen ist uns das Verhalten des Kochs: Beim Verlassen des Hotels am Abend wurden wir in unfreundlichem Ton wegen unseres Parfüms angegangen. Auch am nächsten Morgen beim Auschecken gab es weder eine Begrüßung noch eine Verabschiedung, stattdessen erneut abfällige Bemerkungen. Dieses Verhalten war respektlos, unprofessionell und hat den Gesamteindruck stark beeinträchtigt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass es vor dem Haus kostenlose Parkplätze gibt. Weniger angenehm war dagegen, dass die Zimmer nicht abgedunkelt werden können, da keine geeigneten Vorhänge vorhanden sind. Das gastronomische Angebot haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen und können es daher nicht bewerten.

Vor der Eingangstüre große Mülltonnen welche riechen, der Abzug aus der Küche zieht direkt ins Zimmer und stinkt. Darüber hinaus ist das Zimmer mehr als fragwürdig was die Sauberkeit angeht. Sehr schlimm

• Ferdinand (10/5): Köln - Sehr kleines Zimmer, aber es hatte alles, was man für eine Nacht braucht. Daher völlig ok, vor allem auch bei dem Preis.
• Andreas (10/5): - Für eine Nacht war das Zimmer zu dem günstigen Preis richtig super. Hervorragend war auch die Parksituation in der Seitenstraße des Hotels. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut, noch dazu zu einem sehr humanen Preis. Kurzum, ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen, das kleine Einzelzimmer mit 8 qm ist für 1 bis 2 Nächte völlig ausreichend. Komme gern wieder.
• Ellen (10/5): - Wirklich ein sehr schönes gemütliches kleines Hotel. Es gibt ein Einkaufszentrum in der Nähe und einige Supermärkte und Restaurants. Die S- Bahn ist auch direkt nebenan gelegen. Ich komme bestimmt noch mal hier her.

• Martina (10/5): Excellent location to where we had to go. - Beautiful room. Comfy bed. Great shower. Breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, coffee, orange juice. The lights on the bedside table didn't work.
• Michael (6/5): - Das Hotel liegt an einer 4 spurigen Straße mit Bahn in der Mitte, leider war mein Zimmer strassenseitig. Da es sehr warm war hatte ich die Wahl bei Hitze oder Lärm zu schlafen. im Winter währe es kein Problem, da die Fenster gut den Schall dömmen.

• Frank (5/5): Pleasant enough stay, beware of undisclosed Tourist Tax...! - Overall, stay was fine. Very small room, but as advertised. Comfortable bed. Signage on arrival is confusing as there is no Hotel Triton but Triquetta instead. TV programming also confusing as channels really start only at 300+ (as I found out by accident on my last day). Tiny sink. My main criticism, however, is re/ undisclosed charges for Cologne's Tourist Tax for non-business visitors (5%; introduced in 2014). Both confirmations from booking.com and the hotel (which I reviewed on the spot first with the clerk and then the hotel manager several times) showed a price including all charges/extras and taxes with no reference to the Tourist Tax. Instead, one day before my arrival and 2 days after the free cancellation period had expired I received an e-mail from the hotel stating that a surcharge of 5% is to be paid. When I refused to do so the manager was called and referred to their T&Cs (AGBs) and declared that it was my responsibility to review these and to be generally aware of local requirements. My recommendation to rather update their confirmation form and to sort this out with booking.com was responded to that this has nothing to do with them as the agreement is between booking.com and the customer (fancy that!)... Needless to say that I didn't pay the extra charge and that I have no desire to return.

The room I had was a double room and was nice but had no fridge (my two friends in the single rooms had fridges) the beds were very soft but was fine. The air con wasn't working and when I brought it up with reception I was told they were sorry that it wasn't working but it never got fixed. So really apart from thr AC I had a really nice stay here and I would recommend it. Broken AC

• Patrycja (10/5): - Zwar kurzer, doch sehr zufriedener Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer unter dem Dach war beim Betreten zwar sehr warm, aber durchs Lüften kühlte es schnell ab. Sehr sauber, neues Bad, bequeme sehr hohe Betten. Top! Leider sind die Betten nicht verbunden und rutschen auseinander.

• Omar (4/5): - The staff was curt and mostly preoccupied with the restaurant patrons. The room was small and they had tucked the bed in the angle of the room where you could not sit on the bed without hitting your head. Bathroom was a good size though.
• Jeroen (4/5): Disappointing - I paid upfront which clearly stated all taxes are included, but I needed to pay additional tax at the hotel otherwise I would not get the room. So the prices which are shown and advertised are not correct and should not be used for comparison with other hotels in the neighbourhood.

• Mónika (10/5): Nice hotel in Cologne - The hotel has a good location, it is within 20 mins from the main train station (with S-Bahn). The staff is really helpful and kind. The hotel has a nice restaurant and there is a possibility to have breakfeast. My room was small but clean, it was perfect for me as I travelled alone. Nothing here

I had to cut my trip short due to a family emergency and the staff was understanding and I hope they can compensate me for the other half of the trip which I wasn't able to complete. • Angelwings444 (6/5): Convenient location outside the center of town - Clean double room,but very small. Not much bigger than a closet. Fine if you are just showering and sleeping there. (Not good if you are claustrophobic). Affordable price for Cologne hotel. We thought we booked in the hotel but on check in was told we had to go across the street to our room. Reception not very friendly or helpful. We did not eat at the hotel, there is a great bakery/cafe next door for breakfast. Tram outside the door is convenient to city center with great places to eat and explore.
