To find the car park, please enter Triftgasse-Wilhelm-Tell Gasse/Kronenburg in your satellite navigation system.
Go halfway up Burgstraße, turn left into Triftgasse/Wilhelm-Tell-Gasse, and turn left into a side street until you see the sign for Parkhaus Eifelhaus (car park). If you walk past the garden, you can go up the steps towards the hotel.
The creperie/café is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The à la carte restaurant is closed between Sundays and Tuesdays.

We hebben daar sávonds gegeten en s'morgen het ontbijt, beide van uitstekende kwaliteit. wij hadden de bruidskamer, welke erg ruim was iclusief grote badkamer. Auto kan mooi voor het hotel geparkeerd worden. S'avonds was er verder niets te doen.

Enkel een veluxraam welke je nog niet eens deftig kon verduisteren. In het dorp zelf is er niks te beleven , we moesten een half uurtje rijden naar het eerste restaurant. ( op woensdag is er geen mogelijkheid om in het hotel te eten )

- Gabriela (10/5): Perfect time spent in a perfect place! - I really recommend this place. It is a very beautiful village where the time stopped. All the houses and streets are very old, it is a quiet place where you can feel you return in time and you can recharge your own batteries. 🙂 The Villa Kronenburg it is a very beautiful place, with amazing staff, very kind and careful. All is arranged with very good taste. The restaurant offerts you great food, wine also very good, breakfast very good. The rooms very clean and with all you need. This is a place where for sure we will come back. For the summer they have a nice pool, they have sauna and also rooms with sauna, very nice terrace. If you want enjoy a massage you have the option here. Thank you all for this great accomodation and time spend here! ❤️ Everything was perfect.

The rooms were nice but as it was situated on the upper floor it was a little bit dark.The view was stunning The extracosts with everything! The wellness:45 Euro- 21 Euro breakfast was too much regarding we needed to order the choice of food at our arriving and only had buffet once. Regarding that we payed 3 rooms for 5 nights I have to say that I was a little disappointed because I forgot my GSMcharger and noticed only in the evening.Nobody contacted me and when I asked to send it to me I had to pay supplementary 5 Euro for their work.

- Wilhelmus (8/5): Nice stay in a wonderful als hotel near a castle ruine - Wonderful pittoresque location Room seemed different than booked. A "Romantic Superior Double Room" was booked with a "large double bed". However, the double bed was rather small and also the room did not lool like the one shown with the particular room booked. Monday and Tuesday there is no restaurant. However, this can be known in advance.

Restaurant is great and the burghaus itself is great and maintained well even though furniture and the facilities were old in the room. Anyway, I would like to thank the peoole working there and their attitude and the nice village/town itself. They even changed one of our rooms due to the my complain of one room being super small. Again staff is the best there! Selection at the breakfast was not too many considering the price. Wine at the dinner was not of good quality a bit spoiled, we did not drink it almost but still paid for it. In any case staff was super positive and caring, hence I have paid for it anyway) But all was of high quality and tasty. 🙂

We chose it for the historic atmosphere and it was a good value - It is an impressive old property decorated in an old traditional style. It is in the heart of a historic Krönenburg village. The village itself is a tourist destination worth seeing. The only restaurant inside the hotel is very pricy with very minimal selection on the menu.
- Thijs (6/5): Niet wat we verwacht hadden - De locatie. Het is echt een hele mooie locatie en een mooi gebouw. De dame die ons ontvangen heeft was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zei gaf ons een goed en welkom gevoel. Kamer was duidelijk niet zoals op de foto’s.kamers waren met simpele soort van action spullen ingericht. Bed was klein en niet comfortabel voelde de veren van het matras zitten. We hadden een superieur kamer geboekt maar de luxe was ver te zoeken mijn inziens. Het ontbijt was van 8:00 tot 11:00 maar toen we om 9:30 kwamen was bijna alles op en werd het heel slecht aangevuld.zelfs om een bord moest je vragen ,ook de dame die het ontbijt regelde was niet vriendelijk en liep on geïnteresseerd rond en zag er alles behalve representatief uit. Een echte tegenvaller voor een ontbijt van 21 euro per persoon.Bij aankomst moest ook nog toeristenbelasting betaald worden dit gaat natuurlijk over een zeer laag bedrag maar bij de boeking stond duidelijk inclusief alle kosten en belastingen.Ook stond er duidelijk op boeking.com gratis parkeren maar dit bleek ook nog eens 10 euro per nacht te kosten.Al met al ben ik van mening dat de prijs enkel verdedigbaar kan zijn door de locatie de rest was voor ons een behoorlijke tegenvaller,helaas.
- Marty (9/5): Super ervaring. - De aankomst vonden wij fantastisch. Je gaat terug in de tijd. Dat geldt ook voor de locatie. Wij vonden het een hele mooie ervaring. Alles goed schoon. Badkamer schoon. Het matras is een pocketverenmatras. Je hoort de veren als je beweegt. Ik kwam daardoor lastiger in slaap.
- Christoph (4/5): Außen hui, innen 😢 - Von außen ein tolles Ambiente mit tollen regionalen Speisen. Auch das Personal super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Leider passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht und die Fotos der Zimmer täuschen den ersten Endruck. Für alles wird zusätzlich Geld verlangt: - Parkplatz im großen Innenhof 10€ pro Tag ca. 20 m entfernt (ca. 50 m entfernt ein großer kostenfreier öffentlicher Parkplatz). - Außenpool 10€ pro Person und Tag. Sauna nochmal extra. Selbst in der Zimmermappe findet sich bereits auf der 2 Seite die Auflistung aller Extrakosten. Die Zimmer sind sauber hergerichtet. Bei der Ausstattung und dem Design fehlt die Liebe zum Detail. Überhaupt nicht zeitgemäß oder dem Ambiente der Burg entsprechend. Eine Beratung wäre dringend nötig. Es hat extrem viel Potential, aber leider weit entfernt von einer Villa und dem Ambiente nicht würdig.

- Maarten (7/5): Schoon en gastvrij, maar het geld niet helemaal waard. - Gastvrije mensen, de kamer was heel schoon, de bedden waren prima en er was een EV charger. De kamers zijn erg gedateerd, op zondag was het restaurant gesloten, het ontbijt kost 21 euro per persoon en dat is het niet waard.
- Vladislav (10/5): - Das Haus ist einfach wunderbar – sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön – perfekt zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Vielen herzlichen Dank für die Möglichkeit, unsere Zeit in diesem tollen Haus zu verbringen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

- VPBXVII (8/5): Heerlijke uitvalsbasis voor fietsen en wandelen en dan bijkomen aan het (buiten) zwembad - Het Zwembad is heerlijk, het ontbijt is goed. De locatie en rust in het dorp zijn fantastisch. De ontvangst was erg vriendelijk. Heerlijk rustige kamer. EV Charger aanwezig. - Geen snacks of iets kleins te eten aan het einde van de dag, het restaurant is seperaat en biedt die mogelijkheid niet. - Het restaurant is prima maar niet meer dan dat Onze "Romantische" kamer: - Geen koffie/thee apparaat in de kamer, wel "beneden" en dan betaal je 2.50 voor een zelfgemaakte Senseo. - Het bed ziet er leuk uit maar kwaliteit matras is matig - Geen Airco- was nu net niet nodig - WC is in badkamer, niet erg romantisch

- Niels (8/5): - De locatie is prachtig en de moeite waard om deze streek en het hotel te bezoeken. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De prijs van het ontbijt was vrij fors. Meer dan 20 euro voor een ontbijt. Het ontbijt was prima, maar de prijs had wat lager gekund.
