We had some issues with the shower. Once we got the water coming out, it was hard to get the temperature to be consistent. Not a big enough issue to prevent us from coming back.

The owners were very friendly when we met them at check in and helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We had breakfast provided which was excellent and had a good choice of quality products. Only thing was the fan in the bathroom was noisy but it wasn't really an issue for us.

- Jemma (9/5): Fantastic - The hotel was beautiful staff were fantastic second to none the room was fabulous the facilities were brilliant and the breakfast was epic thank you. They only thing that wasn’t great were the creaky beds they were comfortable clean but when we turned over they would creek and shake it kept waking us up but apart from that it was fabulous.

- Rolf (9/5): Wunderschönes altes Steinhaus mit einem tollen Flair und liebevoller Einrichtung - Wunderschönes altes Steinhaus mit einem tollen Flair und liebevoller Einrichtung
- Christine (10/5): Lovely border town full of history. - The location was good, nice and quiet. We could walk to town with no problem. Parking on site was useful. The room was nice and large with a small fridge. The bathroom had a bath with shower over. Breakfast was really good with a good choice and the staff were lovely. If we were in the area again would stay here as a first choice. Nothing to do with the property. We found it difficult to find somewhere to eat out in town. Sunday and Monday evening there was only the chip shop and an Indian restaurant open for food. There were food pubs in other villages though.
- Wendy (10/5): -
- wright (10/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful location. Just what we needed - Lovely big spacious room, bathroom with bath and shower. Located in a quiet area. Staff were absolutely lovely - we’d stay here again There was nothing we didn’t like. Wall mounted Shampoo and conditioner may have been a nice touch.
- Helen (10/5): A lovely stay. Would highly recommend - Very welcoming staff, comfortable room and lovely breakfast. The shower had little power.
- virginie (7/5): Ok for one night - Very friendly staff Breakfast setting
- Peter (9/5): A very comfortable stay and with friendly staff -
- Neil (10/5): A beautiful hotel, in a beautiful setting, in a beautiful town. - The hotel was perfectly situated a ten minute walk from the centre of Jedburgh in a quiet small estate of houses.
The owners couldn't have been more helpful during our stay, giving advice on places to eat, and places to see.
This helpfulness was mirrored by their staff, who were very friendly, and attentive to all our requirements.
The breakfast was included in our stay, and catered for every need, including gluten free vegetarian, which one of our party is.
Overall, a brilliant place to stay, and we hope to return very soon. The only aspect of our stay which we found disappointing was the showers.
Electric showers tend not to be the most powerful at the best of times, and ours was no different.
It was only a small minus in the grand scheme of things and in no way spoiled our stay, but perfection would have been a power shower.
- John (10/5): -
- Barbara (6/5): - Breakfast gave me mushrooms despite my informing them in advance and arrival on the breakfast form that I had a severe allergy
Waitress dosmissive
- Doug (10/5): -
- Sandra (9/5): Comfortable room in attractive, well located house. Wonderful breakfast! - Good location. Lovely house in pretty fairly private surroundings. Host was friendly and informative with regards local restaurants etc. Wonderful breakfast. Room might have been a bit warmer in the evening. However located an additional heater in the wardrobe which was effective.
- Peter (8/5): pleasant comfortable stopping point on our Scottish trip - well located large house with private rooms and excellent breakfast ! Gardens always tricky at this time of year , rooms good but will need updating in the next 3 years
- Wendy (10/5): -
- Nick (10/5): High class accommodation with warm welcome and friendly service - Super comfortable and spacious room, with comfortable facilities and quiet location. Very high quality breakfast.
- Fiona (10/5): - Warm welcome and great recommendations for local evening meal restaurants. Spotless luxuriously large bedroom, in such a beautiful house, very comfortable beds. We were very cosy. And so quiet. But the breakfast - wow - a huge choice - and the cooked breakfast I had was delicious. Team couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Thank you all for a perfect stay. Nothing.
- Michael (10/5): Loved it. - The location was great, the staff were amazing and the breakfast was just as good. They checked us in early as we had travelled from Kent for the Kelso Ram Sale. Very friendly and accommodating and would definitely book again. The only thing that let it down slightly was the shower. On high power it was either too hot or too cold and eco mode was little power. This wouldn't put us of booking again though.
- James (10/5): Great location, lovely property with spacious well appointed rooms, breakfast was 10/10!! - Staff were very friendly allowing us an early check in. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Good quality bed and other amenities. Small kitchen area is a nice touch they even provided a few chocolate bars. Breakfast was fantastic, full cooked with all the trimmings. I will be back! Nothing that I didn't like.
- Ingrid (10/5): - Sehr freundliche Gastfamilie, außergewöhnlich gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück , ruhige und doch zentrale Lage!
- Mark (10/5): First class B&B - Lots of lovely extras in the room. It's lovely to have a sofa in the room. Good breakfast Nothing
- Judy (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): An excellent, high-quality B & B in every respect, would be very happy to re-visit. - Just about everything. A lovely house and a lovely room, including a separate but en suite bathroom and a mini kitchen. All of this complemented by a very pleasant and helpful hostess and a spacious, tasteful and well-appointed breakfast room. The breakfast was first class; fresh ingredients nicely cooked and served by efficient and attentive staff. Good parking available on-site, and within walking distance of the centre of Jedburgh. Highly recommended! Nothing.
- John (10/5): - Location, big room, staff and good breakfast.
- Anne (10/5): Great hotel - Friendly staff and rooms where a really good size.
On site parking a bonus. And location to the town centre was perfect. Nothing.
- Annette (10/5): Great location and superb accomodation. - A superb and very well organised stay. Friendly staff and very comfortable, well-equipped, spacious and beautifully decorated room. A lot of thought has gone into making a stay here such a lovely experience.
- John (10/5): - Room, location, friedly host and breakfast.
- Nicholas (10/5): Warm and friendly staff, beautiful facilities, would recommend - Large room with lovely wooden furniture, fridge with cold water in it and a bath to help smooth our tired legs
- Rosie (8/5): Comfy bed and breakfast - Warm welcome, comfy room, nice breakfast, quick responses I liked it all
- Monica (10/5): Aanrader!
- Mark (9/5): -
- Rory (10/5): -
- Tessa (10/5): A memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. - A beautiful building with garden. Only 5 minutes walk from the centre in a quiet location. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was gorgeous and the decor had been well thought out. Attention to detail was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and a good choice range available. We would be very happy to return. Nothing here to dislike
- David (8/5): -
- jo (10/5): Fantastic Georgian house. Lovely staff and superb breakfast - Breakfast was superb. Incredible variety. Staff so very friendly. Nothing too much trouble The en suite could have done with a makeover. The sink was cracked and tile grouting missing. Also seal between bath and wall was gone. However it was very clean and tidy
- Suzanne (10/5): Lovely host and lovely room. Would recommend. - Great location and host and a fabulous breakfast. Gluten free much appreciated.
The room was really lovely, like a small apartment with a separate lounge. Two very small tv's. Nice bathroom but the shower was also very small and a bit lacking in power, a larger person would not be able to turn around in it. Lol. However for one night it was absolutely no problem and did the job.

- Peter (10/5): A lovely place to stay after a long day on St Cuthbert’s Way - We were given a warm welcome and the staff were very friendly. We had a large, airy room which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We got a packed lunch which was good value for money.
