• Diane (6/5): - We were really looking forward to our stay here and assumed everything was set. However, when we got to the property around 8 PM, the front desk informed us that our host, Marianne, had not sent them the required endorsement to allow us to stay, so they prevented us from checking in. We tried calling and messaging Marianne and Jarre multiple times through the emergency line they had provided us, but no one answered, so we had to wait in the lobby for another 1.5 hours. After several attempts, we finally got through to Marianne, who told us we were supposed to reply to an email with copies of our IDs, which we had never received, even upon double-checking our email inboxes. She had sent one email some weeks prior that the front desk had received that listed only one member of our group followed by “+4 guests”, but the front desk stated it was insufficient and that we still could not enter the property unless our host provided all of our names. After messaging her all of our names, Marianne then forwarded it to the front desk, who finally permitted initiation of our check-in process, approximately 2 hours after arriving to the property. The unit itself was comfortable with strong AC and a second toilet. However, only 2 pairs of slippers were provided for 5 guests, and there were no hand towels or paper towels, just 5 bath towels in total, so we had to buy our own. While the space was decent, the check-in process was stressful and disorganized. We would not stay here again.
• Miguel (1/5): Cockroaches and smelly apartment - One giant live cockroach in the bathroom at the moment I arrived. Also the apartment has an incredible bad small, like garbage. I did arrive at 11 pm. Just for that reason I stayed the night. Next morning there is another cockroach, this time on the floor of the main entrance.
• Guest (1/5): Horrible not gonna recommend this place - Location Cockroaches and no extra towels for third guest The hanging lamp wasn’t hanging at all and the power went off the 2nd day and nobody of the property owner showed up. We checked out earlier and went somewhere else.
• Michael (8/5): - The unit was nice, clean and comfortable. There were 2 issues I had, 1) the TV, which I didn't use and 2) the AC, it started to leak so I had to turn it off and use the unit in the bedroom. Other than that, I had a great stay.

There was only 1 bed and 1 small sofa - no extra blankets, sheets or pillows. After check in, I was told there was an extra charge for a futon. Also, we arrived late at night and there was no drinking water in the unit.

• Yolanda (1/5): Bad - I book for 3 people, I'm aware there's only 1 queen size bed. I'm expecting that for the 3rd guest there should have been a pull out bed, instead there was none the couch is small to sleep in since it's only a two sitter couch Im short and could only lay up to my knee. They provided an extremely thin foam pad. I could swear " it's as thin as the baby changing table pad" bedsheets and a thin throw blanket provided without a pillow case. The room need fixing, toilet paper towel holder are broken also the shower head. I love the location are very accessible to everything you need. The staff are friendly, just the room provided to us was BAD!! On checking in. No information was provided by the host to check us in, no authorized notes. We waited and calling till they told me they need a copy of my ID, in which i should have been informed from the beginning. I'm not sure how do you do a smooth transactions after you book and paid for it already but still needed to notify the host on arrival. Room accommodation very bad!!

• Ace (6/5): - Conveniently located close to the malls and centers. The only thing is that the vibration coming from the noise from the clamp on the floor kept us up all night. Security is pretty annoying and gives time limit for visitors coming in and out of the unit as if they are visiting a jail person that only has few minutes of encounter allowed. Otherwise it’s ok condo. Nothing really special and pretty basic amenities.

But as the apartments are owned by different people ( my first ever experience with this type of accomodation at Expdeia). Exhausted after 8 hour flight we reached the Uptown Residence. Told the reception we are checking in and to be advised that they DO NOT have any information about our check in. I was horrified. I then tried to phone the number provided on Expedia but the number was unreachable. I then sent message via Expedia and finally got hold of the host who hadnt advised the reception of our arrivial. And its not that we were checking in early or anything. We were checking in late and yet the communication was poor. To anyone using this accomodation as amazing as this is, please reach out to the host by messaging them to ensure they have advised the reception about guest arrivial.

Unit was spacious and has all the kitchen equipment that you need. Washer/dryer was a plus. Had a hiccup with the WiFi when we first checked in but it was sorted out within a couple of hours of me notifying the property manager. Note that no baggage storage is available at this facility.

• Aileen (9/5): Thoroughly clean apartment/unit/condotel. Will stay here again - Stayed 2 nights. Family with teenagers. Great location, restaurants everywhere offering various cuisines. Condotel very clean, no bugs, no flies or mosquitoes. Bedrooms and living room all air-conditioned and properly working, electric fan is provided in the living room. Spacious shower with hot water and excellent water pressure. Checking-in was simple, no fuss, if you have the required documents. Initial contact with staff not good but when I messaged and called Jenny she replied promptly. Extra mattress and bedding provided. Kitchen clean and basic kitchen utensils clean. Washing machine and dryer are provided but did not use. Clothes rail provided which was handy for wet towels to hang after shower. Towels/shampoo provided. As the unit is very clean, there is no funny smell aside from the disinfectant used for the toilet. Wifi excellent, no hanging. Provide complimentary bottled/mineral water, as often like us who travelled from abroad and arriving late, water is often missed. No update given on 2 matters given to contact person.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - In the first minute I discovered a cockroach on the dining table. But then my wife and I discovered two more on the curtains near the bed. Then lastly a big one on the fridge door. I had a feeling there would be roaches in here because the week prior I stayed in a room on the 33rd floor and in three days killed 20 roaches with a spray under the kitchen sink. So the hosts is well aware of the roach problem but didn’t want to refund me my money when I asked to cancel for my second week. So when I arrived this time (to the room on the 10th floor), I noticed the roaches right away and left. I just booked across the street. I hope everyone reads this and stays away. I’m not getting my money back even though I didn’t stayed the two nights, even though there were plenty of roaches, even though I had a horrible experience the week before. I wouldn’t have been mad if the host would’ve just allowed me to get my money back for the second stay at least. The host won’t do anything about this. They’ll just offer someone to clean your room, which does nothing because many of the roaches were little, meaning that there’s a nest here. DON’T STAY HERE!!!!
• VICENTE (10/5): A wonderful stay beyond my expectation ! - Everything inside the room was very clean, everything was well-arranged and no foul odor. I feel at home during my stay. The staff were courteous and very accommodating. You can see in their faces the readiness to assist you in case of any concern.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - This was a horrible experience. I complained to the management about cockroaches. In my time staying there (the first time) I killed 20 roaches, using a spray that was under the kitchen sink. Because the spray was there, the owner must’ve known about this problem. The management didn’t help me out. I have a second reservation, which I asked to cancel and get a refund for because of this issue. The management knows the issue and continues to allow people to book rooms. And this is in BGC. These issues need to get handled. Roaches.... not good. Don’t book here!
