Guest Reviews
- C5550TMtinah (4/5): Not good - In the shower it was not clean, as you can see in the photos, this is disgusting! It was up the walls inside shower as well
The check- in and check-out was ok.
- indiekaurs (10/5): Amazing hotel - AMAZING Hotel, great location and as a female solo traveller, I felt very safe. A huge thank you to Irman, he was truly amazing and his customer service was outstanding. He is a credit to this hotel.
Definitely recommend!!
- mjdy2k5 (8/5): Good hotel in a fantastic location. Quiet, and cheap and cheerful. - Check in was nice and easy with the computer terminals in the foyer. We were checked in within seconds, but there are staff on hand at all hours in case you need them. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right by the marina with good options of bars and cafes nearby. The hotel rooms themselves were compact but had everything we needed, we had a twin room and the single beds were small. Our room had internal facing windows which was actually ideal for a good nights sleep. The room was immaculately clean, as were the hallways and dining area/bar. The rooms don't have a kettle or cups, but you can get coffee from the breakfast buffet for free until 11am. We didnt stay for breakfast, but it looked nice from what I could see. Locked luggage room for bag storage. All in all a lovely stay, good value for money.
- muneeb (8/5): - Good location
- Thomas (10/5): - Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are self service kisoks in the hote to check in and outl. The staff seemed to be on hand to help you without even asking. Location is very good, close to train stations, bus stops and tram stops. The room was clean. Would recommend.
- SoYun (10/5): - Clean. Convenient.
- David (6/5): - Good location
- Karla (10/5): - Rooms are very small but overall quite clean and comfortable. Nicely updated. The fan over the shower was filled with dustballs that dropped on the floor but a minor complaint in terms of cleanliness. Close to the harbour, shopping and Aker Brygg. Don’t come with a lot of luggage or you will have no place to put it all except on your bed!
- Jon (8/5): - Rooms need updating, paint work had multiple chips and scrapes. Can’t rate the staff, as did not see any. You check in and out yourself, so unless you use the bar and restaurant, you see no staff.
- Justin (2/5): - The hotel concept is not for everyone. It’s ‘self-service’ and very basic / limited. Almost like living in a dom room. I’d happily not stay there ever again. Thank you.
- Sarah (8/5): - Good little hotel, great bar. Room was very small, but other than that very comfortable. Would stay again.
- Dwight (8/5): - Room was nice enough, but tiny. Bed was wall to wall. Bathroom very nice but small again. Very convenient location .
Biggest complaint was noise. We were on 2nd floor and noise all night from outside.
- Laura (6/5): - The hotel was pretty much bare bones. Not worth the price we paid. It was very clean and in a good location. Walked from the train.
- Veronica (10/5): - Excellent property. The staff were very helpful. When thw luggage room got filled they allowed us to use their bar atorage room. So kind!
- Kristine (8/5): - Very nice staff. Beds in standard room not US twin size but more like a cot size. Room was quite small and no windows open in the rooms. Otherwise nice stay
- Satchi (10/5): Good value and great location - Lovely hotel, well located with lots of bars, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Close to the waterfront too. Staff very friendly
- FLORIN-LUCIAN (8/5): Decent and good value. - Decent hotel, good value for the price. We have skipped the breakfast, it seemed over-priced.
- Kristine (8/5): - small room, but in a good neighborhood and safe easy building.
- 834nessm (10/5): Great location - Great location clean tidy and great breakfasts
Staff were friendly and online check in and wifi super efficient
Good bar downstairs
- Wei (6/5): - Good location
- KIM (8/5): Great stay - This is a great hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I do recommend asking for a room above the second floor and not near the street. There are quite a few delivery trucks that make a lot of noise in the morning. Other than that, the staff was fantastic and friendly. The room was small but clean.
- Malka (4/5): Good location - My room was extremely small. Very very basic. No instructions as to how to use the lights.
Room was clean, location was central to everything.
Staff was accommodating.
- Becky (8/5): - Our room was tiny and dusty. Breakfast was ok.
- Halwinder (10/5): - Very hot in the room
- Christopher Mark (8/5): - Great hotel and bar for a business or pleasure trip.
- Emma (6/5): Okay - It was okay. A bit dusty and tap water was super cloudy and white. The lock on our door wasn’t fully working as you had to push and lift the door really hard to lock it, otherwise the door would just push open
- Amanda (8/5): Good place to stay - Close to everything. One thing though, we were on the 8th floor and we could hear the nightclub on Sunday late into the night. Not super loud, just you loud enough you could hear it.
- Rink (10/5): - Super clean and quiet! Did a quick overnight for a cruise in the morning, but lots of restaurants nearby. Bed was super comfy although the pillows are flat by American standards.
- David (10/5): - One of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever been and it was over $700 for two days-very steep price, but then it’s the height of the tourist season. I rated the staff 3 stars because I never saw any. The hotel is in a great location
- maxsN9895PL (2/5): Thumbs down - No coffee, no kettle, no AC, windows don't open, no soap. Do not stay here! Spend more and stay somewhere nice!
Find a better place! .....
- HARSHA KISHOR (8/5): - It was amazing experience..☺️
- Owen (10/5): - Nice modern central hotel with walking distance to the Palace and Train/Bus Station.
Perfect for a quick stay in Oslo
- Victor (10/5): - Excelente
- SHEILA (10/5): Self checkin works great! - It would be nice to be advised in the confirmation that you have self checkin. Also instructions for it.. look for terminals in lobby & info needed to id your booking. Instructions for making your room card.
- Karen (6/5): You get what you pay for - The hotel was in a really good location and reasonably clean. Check in was straightforward on a screen. Didn’t have much to do with the staff but when we needed help with luggage room no problem.
However, rooms and towels didn’t get refreshed in the 3night stay. There were a group of us in 3 rooms - our air con was ineffective and we had to open the only window that would open. Friends in another room not so lucky - their window handles had been removed and they were moved at midnight after asking twice for the aircon to be sorted - they had been told this would be done remotely. Some friends had booked breakfast as part of their booking - they weren’t very impressed. Apparently quite basic for the @£16 plus each per day.
Oslo is great - we didn’t pay a lot compared to other hotels so you get what you pay for really.
- Sarah (10/5): - The hotel was ideally situated for all the main attractions in Oslo. Everything was within 5-30 mins walk. There were numerous restaurants nearby that were delicious and not too expensive. Staff were helpful and polite. They gave good local knowledge and insights too.
- iiris2025 (8/5): Excellent location in the heart of Oslo - Excellent location. The room was clean. Cannot say the same about the restroom behind the bar desk on the 1st floor. My wish regarding the room came true. Breakfast very basic and ok. Staff members a bit unpolite in the breakfast. Check-in and out machines didn’t work perfectly.
- Ginny (6/5): - The best thing about Hotel Verdandi is it's excellent location. Our room was small with mattresses that were too soft. Even though we were on the 9th floor, we could still hear the noise of the college students across the street at Heidi Bar until 2am. This hotel is best for a few nights. We stayed for a week and no one cleaned the bathroom or emptied the trash while we were there. We opted for their breakfast which was very good. However, the entire cleaning staff would come every morning about 15 minutes before breakfast ended and heap their plates with food and sit down to eat. While I don't mind the staff eating, I believe that paying hotel guests should eat first and then the hotel employees eat when breakfast ends. At least one morning when we and other guests came to breakfast, the hotel staff had descended and wiped out the remaining food before hotel guests had an opportunity to dine.
- Ceri (10/5): Great l - Great location i'n the centre of Oslo. Close to everything. Check in was remote but it enabled us to pay a small fee to check in early which was very useful. Breakfast was excellent.
- Laura (8/5): Would recommend - Nice hotel, rooms are on the small side but that’s ok for a city break. Clean hotel however stayed 4 nights and it wasn’t cleaned once. Would recommend.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - This is a good value for the area. The room is clean and in fairly good shape. We paid $127 USA for the room. It's in a great area of Oslo. Close to the waterfront, parliament, gardens, shopping and good restaurants. Also close to public transportation.
The room was very small. No place to set your suitcase. Clothing closet is also very small.
This room is definitely not a place to hang out for a long time but as a clean place to sleep, it was good enough. The window doesn't open however room temperature was fine.
- William (10/5): - Exceptional location , great affordable room, awesome bathroom and shower . Downstairs bar and restaurant ( breakfast)
- Expedition59448 (2/5): Never has one whole star been less deserving - Scammed 700 dollars
They claimed from the start that they COULD reverse it
I complained to the Oslo police, Visa, my bank
I got the money back after around 50 emails
To the last, they claimed it was nothing to do with them
- CHEREE (10/5): - Can't fault the hotel, close to everything you need.
- Quest19988136380 (10/5): Just like home - The mattress here most resembled my own and was so comfortable! We arrived very late and was still helped with parking. Attendants were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was great also. This was a great place to stay and we'd stay again if back in town.
- Lnihiser (10/5): Nice hotel - This is a very nice hotel. I do recommend it. It is in a great location, close to all of the activities and there’s endless dining opportunities. There’s an enormous amount of shopping on every street. It is close to the ocean actually you can walk from the hotel straight back to the ocean. It’s very nice. The tram is very close for those activities that you want to go to museums, etc. that aren’t within walking distance, but most of your activities are well within walking distance.
- Alex (8/5): - Great location but rooms were very small and window looked straight into another room.
- Susan (10/5): - Great hotel in the middle of Oslo. Very central location, within walking distance if all the sights, and a stones throw from the harbour. Easy check in and check out processes. My only criticism is that my room faced inwards onto a courtyard (no sunlight or ability to see the weather outside), and I was unable to open the window, so room was a little stuffy. Otherwise a great experience!
- Maria (4/5): - Be careful. Unfortunately I left an Apple Watch charger in my room after checkout. Even I contacted the hotel almost immediately they confirmed their cleaners “didn’t find it”. It was just a charger but it’s sad to have this experience in a country like Norway.
- Sean (8/5): - Decent enough hotel right next to city hall. Staff in the bar are awesome, and the breakfast is really good too. Self check in place, which went smoothly enough, but the door to my room wouldn’t lock properly, and the rooms and beds are tiny. Having said that the bed was comfortable enough. Would stay again.
- MaryE995 (4/5): Major concerns about Security at this Hotel - There were some BIG unanticipated problems with this hotel. For starters, it's an automated check in / check out, no hotel clerk at all on site. A very rude bartender from the (unconnected to hotel) gave us some very minimal help. The front doors are left wide open to the street unlocked with direct access to elevator and stairs. It all felt very unsafe, furthermore, there's no one to help with questions/recommendations/etc. The rooms are as basic as they could possibly be. No shampoo, or other products except for some generic "gel" are provided. Basically it's like a low budget hostel.
The few positive items are a delicious breakfast provided by a nice staff, and a good location.
Overall, I do not recommend this hotel especially if traveling alone.
- Martin (10/5): Nice hotel by the harbourfront - Location was brilliant, easy walking distance to port and other locations. Room was really small but as we spent most time out that wasn't a problem. Staff were friendly abd breakfast was a good spread. My only complaint was the taxi company that had a direct link to in the foyer tried to get me to pay without it showing the price on the card machine. When I complained he said don't i trust him, then after i tapped my xard he then produced another machine with the actual charge onnit. I thinknhe pribably cloned my card. Then he soed off so i couldn't take his plate number.
- Paul (10/5): - This was a great hotel. The staff was superb and the breakfast excellent. Everything that needed to be seen was within walking distance. Check in and checkout very simple and easy. Highly recommend.
- Joon (10/5): Best little city in the world for norwegians ;) - Amazing oslo :)
- George (8/5): - Overall a very good stay. The location is prime.. the only issue i has ia thay thr property is self service front desk. There is no reception and no for to ask for help. I had an issue trying to extend one night. The website was not working properly. It was a nuisance. Not to mention no security ir sense of some to talk to.. very weird for a hotel. Never seen this ever.
- Pranee (8/5): - Love location
- David (8/5): - Great location
- emmatQ6294RY (2/5): Stay away 🪳🪳🪳 - Stay away! This hotel is infected by bugs and your luggage will be infected. Don’t stay here! 🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳
- michaelaR2894SF (2/5): Not recommend it. - I do not recommend this hotel.
Worst hotel stay: very small room, no mini fridge, no safety deposit box, no coffee machine or kettle, tiny bathroom, permanently (mornings or evenings) low water pressure in the shower, only soap dispenser on the wall, no shampoo or conditioner, towels are paper thin.
Most dangerous: door lock engages 20-30 seconds after you exit room and close the door.
Good breakfast.
Excellent location.
- hannahmJ945EU (2/5): Money Grabs and Lies - Liars and Thieves. Zero stars if I could.
When we arrived I walked into reception and my friend went to the computers. I asked to see if we might be able to check in early which at most hotels is a courtesy if the rooms are ready. The man at reception said yes but it will cost 300 NOK. I walked over to my friend to see if she wanted to pay the cost. She agreed and said I’ve already started doing it here on the computer. I informed the receptionist and he just nodded at us. Later when we checked out we had a 500 NOK fee for early check in!! To which the receptionist informed us that we agreed to that because only he could offer the discounted check in. He failed to inform us of the price difference and refused to honor the price he previously quoted saying we agreed to it. Early check in should be a courtesy not an additional money grab by a hotel in the first place and then to snake away more money from us on top of it. If you want to stay with honest and decent people DONT STAY HERE!! I’d give zero stars if I could for the dishonesty and general lack of courtesy or respect of their customers.
- herescathy (4/5): Not great - To their credit the front desk was very responsive when I called down to complain.
We stayed here twice (booked by another person) and I think it would remiss of me to not warn future visitors that they NEED to check their bedding and linen before even doing anything else. Both stays I found absolutely bloody and soiled mattresses and pillows.
It was disgusting and looked like people bled out and expired on the bedding.
The staff apologized and changed it to a cleaner mattress and linen right away but christ, it was the stuff of nightmares.
We also stayed in a room that was meant to be for those who have accessibility needs. The toilet and sink were fitted for disability usage but the layout of the room itself (it’s in a weird L shape configuration where the beds are facing the door at the short end of the L) and the shower cubicle makes maneuvering difficult.
There were towels, soap, hair dryer, cups for rinsing but there were no other amenities in the room. No tea, kettle, fridge or microwave. Very bare bones and small rooms.
The breakfast was good. Not a lot of choices but what was there was delicious and well prepared.
The hotel interior gets a lot of sun but the lobby was dark and felt like a dingy bar lounge.
For the price it cost to stay there? It wasn’t worth it.
- Colleen (10/5): - The location is perfect for exploring the main attractions of Oslo. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Easy to get to the public transportation. Size of the room was good though our friends had a much smaller room which would not have been as comfortable. Check in was easy. Great to have a luggage room to leave our bags.Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Natali4 (4/5): Not a very good experience - Hotel was in nice location. Beds were nice & room was quite. Staff was not friendly & rude with us. Its like we were bothering them when we had a question. We had an item missing that was in a locked storage room while room was being prepared. Unfortunately not happy with our experience here.
- John (6/5): - The location was good for walking to many of the desired sites to see in Oslo. This was the first hotel I have stayed at that did not have a coffee machine or option in the room. When I asked the one staff member if I could have a cup from their breakfast machine I was told I could buy a cup. Breakfast is a $25 up-charge. The hotel has one staff member on duty at a time. Unfortunately for this individual they have to run the bar, get towels and handle issues etc.
- Clare (6/5): - Comfortable room but very minimal; no in-room tea/coffee making as advertised, although there is access to this in the main lounge on the ground floor. Air Con didn’t seem to work properly & none of the windows opened, so it got pretty stuffy at times with no fresh or cool air. Staff seemed mostly indifferent to guests — never rude, but never particularly polite or helpful either. Don’t go expecting much and you won’t be disappointed. Centrally located in Oslo so handy for most things; about a 10-15 min stroll from the central station.
- Michael (10/5): - Nice sized room. Wonderful bar and patio.
- 405leightond (2/5): VERY DISAPPOINTING, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. - VERY DISAPPOINTING, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
The manager didn't contact me if I had any issues.
They didn't send the bill after I requested it several times.
The room was cold, as they set it a few degrees above the outside temperature (I have to ask them to raise it every day).
Breakfast cereal with gluten in a container labeled gluten-free. I was very sick and it was a work trip.
- Natalie (4/5): - Hotel is in a good location. Beds were nice. Staff was not friendly & pretty rude... very disappointing. We didn’t ask for much but it was like we were bothering them when we asked a question. We had to store luggage until room was ready and we had a missing item when we came back. The water in shower didnt get very warm but the sink got pretty hot. Rooms were pretty quiet.
- William (4/5): - We had to move to a different room after the first night as we were situated over the front door which banged almost all night long. As well, the noise from people out on the street also went on all night as they sat themselves out on the patio area outside the hotel for long periods of time and chatted very loudly. Do not book room 201 ever, even though it looks like a nice room, you will regret it!
It's a self-service hotel but there is a customer service rep who helped us get another room, although we had to come back twice the next day which cut into our plans. He gave us a room with almost the same view as the bad room but on the 6th floor and it was so quiet. I was grateful for the assistance. The breakfasts were so-so, often there were no bowls or when you asked for something some of the restaurant staff were borderline rude.
The hotel is in a convenient area but I don't think we would stay there again. It's really not that clean and we're not very picky. But if you stay there, ask for a room on an upper floor and don't bother with their breakfast and it will probably be ok for a night or two.
- Bryan (8/5): - The hotel, breakfast and staff exceededmy expectations.
My only poor experience was the music on the weekend that could be heard into the morning.
- Derek (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean!! And great location!
- Abby (10/5): - Hotel facade is under construction but the interior is nice
- Hellal (6/5): - The hotel was close to the city attractions and city hall! Rooms were too small!! Okay for one night! Breakfast was very good!
- Claire (6/5): The only good thing is the location - Hotel location is brilliant, close to all tourist sights. However, self check in which was easy but NO information in room or about check in area. There was no iron in the room and when i asked the staff they advised there is an ironing room on 6th floor. No information about this anywhere. “Ironing room” there was ONE iron/board. There was also construction work on building which we were not told about prior to arrival. The room was basic, clean but HOT. The A/C didn't work and it was set to constant heat. The window opened but it was an internal room so didn't make much difference. The bed is small and with the heat, expect restless nights. We did not use any other facilities in hotel. There was also a sewage smell coming from the lower area/downstairs of check in. You were welcomed with that smell!!
- Daniela (6/5): - The bedding and curtains had dried up liquid of some sort, which was pretty gross. The room was very warm, with no ability to cool the room down or get the humidity out.
- Thomas (4/5): - No desk staff and poor check in process.
- Azadeh (10/5): - it was clean and nice
- MegLewis (2/5): Awful service and experience - avoid - Several issues contributed to our unsatisfactory stay:
Substandard Room: Room 201 was not maintained to a high standard. Worn furniture, no cleanliness checks or updates during the entire trip and issues with heating/cooling system.
Missing Amenities: Despite being listed on your website as included in our room type, a coffee machine and ironing facilities were absent. When I raised this with a staff member, she dismissed my request for a coffee machine with a dismissive attitude, which I found unprofessional.
Disruptive Noise: Our stay was severely impacted by significant noise disturbance. Firstly, there was ongoing building work on the street outside the hotel, which was disruptive. This was compounded by internal drilling and servicing work directly outside our room (201) starting as early as 7:30 am. This made it impossible to rest or relax in the room.
Lack of Follow-Up: After complaining to a staff member about the missing amenities, she noted our room number, but we received no follow-up or attempt to resolve the issues. This lack of communication and action was unacceptable.
Lack of Acknowledgement of Special Occasion: My booking clearly stated that this trip was to celebrate both an anniversary and a birthday. No acknowledgement of these special occasions was made by the hotel, which, while not expected, was a disappointing oversight and further contributed to the overall poor experience.
The issues significantly detracted from our stay and was not reflective of the price we paid.
To note, I contacted the hotel directly to offer the opportunity to make amends but they only wanted to offer a small discount for a future stay. This is not a sufficient response for such an awful experience and we will never stay again.
- Mark (8/5): - Stayed for 4 days for a conference.
Great breakfast buffet and quiet room. Very central.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fine for a few days - Great location. Good sized room (deluxe). Clean and and a great shower. Room was too hot - only option was a floor fan that was not powerful enough and fell to bits. Windows did not open for fresh air. Bed was ok but the pillows were too soft. No USB outlets, no fridge. Only 1 elevator was working. Breakfast was ok but only 1 kind of fresh bread and store bought mini chocolate croissants.
- Chantelle (10/5): - Great location, compact modern rooms.
- Lucy (4/5): Way too hot. - Very very hot in the first room. Woke up with a nose bleed at 3 am due to the heat. You cannot control the heat in the room and the windows do not open. Had to go down to reception who control the hotel heating on one thermostat, not individually per room. On the second night they moved our room to one with windows which was much better.
- Paulfinnes (10/5): A hidden treasure in the middle of Oslo - I have been to Oslo many times and have stayed at most of the hotels. I can’t understand why I haven’t stayed here before. This is a hidden gem in the heart of Oslo.
The prices are great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel is stylish and modern. They also have a self-check-in option that makes the check-in process quick and efficient. The rooms are clean and cosy.
I will definitely choose this hotel for my future stays in Oslo!
- _I7968EM (10/5): Greece hellas - Very friendly staff and location perfect artiom Justina algirdas all Lithuania all very friendly.good breakfast and all I full recommend you guys all the best to you ioannis charonitis Malia Crete Greece emm.tsagaraki 73 taverna's eva owner
- david (6/5): - Lift didn't work, tv in room didn't work and after paying for breakfast we weren't on his list had to get receipt to prove we had payed. On the plus side hotel is in a great location and rooms were clean and tidy
- stephanie (6/5): - The room I paid for had nothing to do with the room that I got.
The fact that there is nobody to answer your questions is not very helpful.
Very small room
- Jason (8/5): - Was a nice stay except the TV sound didnt work in our room. We didnt want to change rooms after just unpacking so was a bit annoying.
- wrenski90 (6/5): Get what you pay for, good value short stay in Oslo - Rooms are clean and exactly what you need for a short stay in Oslo. The beds are smaller than standard singles and are very soft so this is something to be considered.
The windows don't open so the rooms can get very warm at night, even when -9°C outside.
Our room wasn't serviced once during our 4 day stay which although isn't necessarily required - we could've done with our bin being emptied and a properly made bed is always nice.
They start cleaning rooms very noisily from around 8:30 am so if you're planning on having a lie in - hope that your neighbours haven't checked out !
The facilities are all very good, large TV lots of bar space and well stocked bathroom. Easy self check-in and out. Good value for a trip to Oslo.
- Raymond (8/5): - Perfect location, but basic services. Great for a cheap motel. All the basics.
- Sean (8/5): - Very nice property. Conveniently located
- David (10/5): - Great stay in the centre of Oslo within walking distance to all activities
- Jose (10/5): - Near by most of all atracttions in oslo
- Verified traveler (8/5): Meh - Rooms are tiny without air control. Room was way too hot and we couldn’t adjust it. The hallways were cooler.
- dmjk2103 (4/5): Unclean hotel and worse than our expectations. - This hotel was unfortunately not as good as we hoped. The room we had was very small and as big people this made it annoying to move around, not to mention we didn’t have much space for our suitcases.
We also found a pair of someone else’s underwear in our room on the last day which suggested they’re not cleaned thoroughly.
Although we got new towels each day, our room wasn’t cleaned or beds made once during our stay. This is the minimum I’d expect from a hotel of this level.
We also had no air con in the room and the window didn’t open at all meaning we couldn’t get any fresh air in the room.
The location of the hotel was really good, being right next to Karl Johans Gate and the City Hall Square.
The lobby of the hotel was a bit disappointing and and the luggage room was not secure or managed by any of the staff. On the topic of staff, there were not many of them around at any time.
The elevators also smelt nasty which was off putting. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Overall, this hotel wasn’t as
- Natalie (10/5): - Excellent location , only a few minutes walk to the christmas market in karl johans square , and also to the pier for the fjords cruise . Many bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel too .
Rooms were comfy , clean and modern and the breakfast had a good variety to set you up for the day! Lovely bar area too to chill with a drink on an evening . We would stay here again .
- NAHFMH (6/5): Family trip to Oslo - Great location right by the town hall and docks. Rooms were tiny but as we’re out all day exploring that’s not an issue for us. The room was comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was nice and we always found something for our fussy eater.
The staff were pleasant.
My only complaint is that is very noisey outside the building at night. Pubs, bars and deliveries to other business often woke us.
- Vincent (10/5): - Nice
- Brian (8/5): Christmas market visit. - Budget hotel near the city centre. Ideally placed for the Christmas market beside the ice rink. Good choice at breakfast. Lack of information on how to use the room and room service had to be requested!
- William (4/5): - The hotel was in a great location, but was right across from a bar that played music until 3am and made sleep impossible. The mattresses were a thin pad and the pillows and comforter were sort of discolored which made them look dirty, hopefully they weren’t. No housekeeping came to change towels during the 3 night stay. There was no front desk attendant for most of my stay.
- Sarah (6/5): - Good location but street a little rundown. Easy walk to harbour, central shopping & trams. Little further to train station - but walkable. Room was cold, but extra duvets provided when requested. Windows old so street noise was loud - we bought ear plugs to resolve. Great bathroom & comfy bed.
