- FRIDAY (8/5): - Airport shuttle, respectful and courteous staff, good food and room delivery, and spacious room. However, there are no connecting rooms like ot was described online and tge Wi-Fi is poor. It needs to be upgraded to standard connection without using multiple printed slips (in this modern era of technological advancement). Some of my online meetings and work were disrupted for poor network connection. Rollace can do better. Apart from this, it is a place to relax, feel at home, and be comfortable with the ambience.

- Jonathan (4/5): - Be careful, the hotel does not accept international cards. Bring cash or use a Nigerian transfer. The room was noisy, hearing neighbors in other rooms and in the hallway. The aircon was either on at full blast of off; uncomfortable either way. Bed sheets were kinda dirty on one side of the bed. The restaurant was ok but not great. On the plus side the staff was super friendly. Really nice. The location is convenient, close to the airport; there are many other hotels in that area though. I wouldn’t pick this one again.

Rooms are spacious and clean with large bathtubs. The staff are the best part. Very friendly and helpful. You can walk around the markets outside the hotel as well.

- McKinley (6/5): - I was somewhat disappointed in the shuttle service. I had an early connecting flight and the shuttle was not available until 8 AM. I had called the hotel earlier to confirm the shuttle schedule and the person I spoke to indicated they would call back. No one returned my call. It turned out OK as an Uber was ready and waiting in the parking lot. It was a little frustrating however that no one called me back. Their ad on several travel sites indicates that they have pickup and drop off shuttle but that was not evident in my case. I would have rated higher but this was somewhat important and the reason I selected this hotel.

They said that they will send someone to look at the situation. And no one ever came. We were there for two nights with this problem. Also we believe that when choosing this hotel it should state that they do not accept any form of credit cards especially if you are from another country. To know this will help others to seek other means of their stay. Besides these issues, our stay were good.

- PETER (8/5): - The Rollace Hotel front desk reception need to up their game. They're to darn slow. It should not take more than 10 minutes to check a guest-in. My check-in took more than 45 minutes. And I booked my room online. Do not tell a guest who has been sitting on a flight for more than 20 hours (some flights from the US) to go and sit down before they can be attended.

- Ebanehita (8/5): - My general experience at the hotel was great. The staff were courteous and good customer service. My only concern was with the Bell man who helped with the luggage cart, he was quite sluggish on both days that his service was required despite the fact that he was informed that we were in a rush to meet up with the cargo company before the close and with check-in at the airport. My only other concern was the food. I believe the management should look into hiring a better chef, especially considering the price point of the food, which isnt cheap. I had breakfast at the buffet, good options but not enjoyable. The fish sauce was salty and the egg sauce had no weight. My taste buds could barely tell i was having egg in the egg sauce. On 2 separate nights, I ordered ogbono soup and oha soup, and they failed the "tasty and delicious" test. Those 2 soups are one of the easiest to get right but these didnt cut it. Lastly, I would encourage management to pay attention to the bathrooms and potential places for rust and mold. The bathrooms were great, loved to see a really clean bath tub. Unfortunately, I observed peeling on the ceiling where the tub is located and significant rust on the shower railings which made them loose in the corners (room 221). I also think shower curtains should have an expiration once the base cant be cleaned white anymore. In all, my stay at the hotel was good and it was my first time back to the country after almost 5 years.
- Fatima (6/5): - The first room they gave me was not very cleaned. The rug was stained and smelly. I informed the reception and the room was changed. There was tiny flies going around in the room all through.
- Chinemerem (10/5): - Everything about this property is top notch. The property was clean and spotless. The staff were well prepared and attended to inquiries professionally. The only thing I would recommend is a smart TV. Other than that, everything was a 5-Star stay.

- JoAnna (6/5): Wouldn't recommend sadly - We were very excited about staying at this hotel on my final days in Lagos. I thought that it would have all the qualities of a "four-star" hotel in the U.S., but that wasn't the case. The front desk staff was very dismissive. Our first room was very noisy, we were put above the bar and kitchen. We asked to be moved as soon as possible, which they said they would do. Well, not only were we left in the room, but it took until late afternoon to get us moved. This was after several trips to the front desk just to be told it would be 20 minutes longer. I needed to shower and unwind, but we were left sitting for hours with packed luggage, which I wasn't going to unpack just to be moved. I do want to give a shout out to the lady in the gift shop, whe was amazing. The gentleman that checked us in and the gentleman that helped us get to airport were also amazing. The rest of staff needs improvement. Would not recommend.

- Noriko (10/5): Wonderful stay - It was such a nice surprise that everything was in a working condition, after spending a week in another city. Staff was very professional and attentive. Nice bonus was that bathroom had two universal power outlets that allowed my US chargers to fit nicely. Breakfast buffet had both Nigerian and Western dishes, and staff was very helpful. Airport shuttle was available and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Breakfast not to my taste but manageable. Chef should buckle up. Complimentary transport to the airport was awesome. Driver very polite and helpful. He drove professionally obeyed all traffic and road signs and speed limits. I will difiinetly stay at Rollace Hotel again and again. 👍👍👍👏👏👏
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice simple hotel. We stayed twice at this hotel. The rooms are pretty spacious, with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast is quite nice, with delicious food options. The Nigerian food is better than the western offerings. The outdoor pool area is a relaxing place to hangout, but can be buggy since the tables don’t seem to be cleaned often. Use insect repellent if going outside. We had one issue with the front desk not recording the number of days in our reservation properly. It was a prepaid reservation as well. We did point this out, expecting it to be resolved quickly. Unfortunately, the front desk did not correct the issue resulting in staff walking into our room without knocking and several phone calls expecting us to have checked out. It was a very annoying afternoon, which could have been avoided. Overall, the stay was pleasant enough and may stay again in the future.

- Angela (8/5): Nice rooms...Beautiful atmosphere - The room was very nice, clean & comfortable....staff was very nice & professional, my only complaint was the tv in the room didn't show a clear picture, I told them about it at the front desk & they said maintenance will fix it & it never was fixed also...breakfast was good but would have preferred a variety of meat instead of hot dogs & they only offered water & coffee for the beverages (no juice, no cold milk)
- Judith (10/5): - The bed was the most luxurious bed I have ever slept in. After an exhausting trip from the USA and my connecting flight from Lagos to Warri was cancelled, I had to stay overnight. While the surrounding area is congested with vendors and much poverty, the inside of the compound is secure to outsiders.
