He was kind even when we caused him some inconvenience through no fault of our own, for which we are very grateful. The breakfast we chose was very hearty and delicious. Rosella, who prepared it for us, is a lovely lady with a wonderful smile. Thank you for the warm hospitality; I highly recommend this place.

• Mark (10/5): We loved everything - The historic charm of the building, the cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent location, and the delicious breakfast—all of it was simply perfect. The family room was spacious and made us feel completely at home. We are truly grateful for the warm hospitality of Alessandro and Rosella!
• Amanda (10/5): Beautiful, central location with easy access to restaurants & beaches. - We liked the location, the view, and Rosella’s morning breakfasts. Parking was confusing. We put “Tropea City Parking” in to our navigation system, and it took us to a public lot. When we put Via Carmine 30 in to the address, it took us there. Learning the system about parking (the gate, controller for the gate, etc) was a challenge but once we figured it out it was fine.

La colazione era ottima e la stanza era molto grande e con tutti comfort. Apprezzatissimo il mini frigo con le bevande. Sostanzialmente nulla. Si potrebbe migliorare il Wi Fi nelle stanze con un extender così da avere una connessione più stabile anche lì e non solo nel soggiorno.

Na powitanie w lodówce Prosecco i zimne napoje,na łóżku na ręcznikach cukierki,serwis plażowy....małe detale ,które świadczą o tym ,jak właściciel zarządza obiektem. Możliwość pozostawienia bagażu po wymeldowaniu z pokoju. Słabo działające WiFi w apartamentach. Im bliżej routera, który znajdował się w części wspólnej w jadalni, tym było lepiej. Im dalej od routera tym gorzej.

• Janine (1/5): I would NOT recommend this place. Much better accommodations on Tropea. - Location There is no information that it is a 4th floor walk up, NO elevator. The common area of the flat for breakfast and living room has NO air conditioning. They only turn on the AC for breakfast time only. One of the bathrooms has a steep step right out of shower. That same shower has mold & a piece of wood on the shower floor that is broken. The other bathroom was dirty and had mold as well. We immediately checked out and booked another property in Tropea through Booking.com. The owner wouldn’t give us back any of our money.

• Siru (10/5): Beautiful B & B inside historic centre - We spend one sunny week here... and love´d it! Beautiful building inside historic centre, just next to the cathedral. There are lots of nice restaurants around and only few minute walk to the main street. The B & B located in third floor. It`s very clean, simple style, beutifully renovated, with nice view. Family room is very spacious, there are separate bedroom, livingroom, bathroom and a hallway. We had opportunity to see other rooms also, and they are really nice! Varied breakfast, will be served in the sheared dining hall. Staff is so helpful and make you feel welcome! We had a car and they arrange a parking hall nearby - convenient! :)
• Violeta (8/5): Charming Boutique Hotel - I had a very good stay at this beautifully preserved boutique hotel with high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The atmosphere is authentic, with original furniture and a vibe that reflects the city’s rich history. Alessandro was very helpful offering useful tips on where to eat and what to explore. The location is unbeatable – right in the middle of the historic center, making it very convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local culture. Because it’s located in a ZTL (limited traffic zone), you can’t park directly at the property. The host did offer a parking option nearby for €20 per day. If you prefer to park for free, you may find spots near the port, but be prepared to climb about 200 steps back up – something that likely applies to most accommodations in the historic center, given its hillside setting. Noise can also be an issue. In the evenings, the area can be lively with people partying late into the night. And in the early mornings, you might be woken by garbage collection or the church bells ringing across the street from 7 AM.

It was perfect with a baby as we could easily pop back to the room throughout the day. The house assistant rosella was so lovely and friendly and our toddler loved playing with her.
• Lila (10/5): Sweet and Special Suites Tropea - I loved the history of the house, the huge wardrobe in it, the window to the Cathedral and pretty street down below. Also modern shower was excellent and fun to have a window to inner courtyard. I heard music playing from the square down the street and could watch the full moon over the view. So comfy. So spacious. Staff was nice, and excellent breakfast.
• Rebekah (9/5): Very pleasant and well located, despite the noise in the early morning - Breakfast was great each day to wake up to a generous in size. Roselle was lovely and very helpful. Location was superb in the old town and close to access beaches. The accommodation beautifully put together. Large, open spaces lots of natural light - gorgeous views to the duomo and square below. Alessandro was easy to contact with any questions answered quickly. Second bed was just a couch, not an actual bed or fold out sofa bed, sheets just came off and overall not that comfortable. We had to ask for an iron and electric kettle even though they were listed on the facilities. Noisy first thing in the morning with mutliple bells from the church and garbage collection. We grew to like the charm of the bells though, just don't expect a sleep in... Note there isn't a lift and it's up a few flights of stairs. No washing machine on site.

• Amy (10/5): Beautiful and friendly b&b in the centre of Tropea - The property is right in the centre of Tropea with a beautiful view of the cathedral. We were five minutes from the beach and in the middle of lovely restaurants and bars. Although we were in the centre of town, the windows blocked a lot of the noise so the room was tranquil. The room itself was stunning. Rossella was so friendly and kind, and the breakfasts were delicious. Nothing, all was perfect.

The room is quite big and old, and the air conditioning unit was very old and not strong enough to keep the room cool. This made it hard to fall asleep as the nights were very warm.

The breakfast is lovely and the woman who prepares the breakfast and cleans the room is so kind and helpful. The room and lounge are huge but the air con isn’t sufficient for the size of the room. It’s hard to cool down the room in the summer making sleep very uncomfortable. The bathroom is very old and there is no access to a kitchen or anything kitchen sink / ability to make coffee. Parking is 25 euro per day. There are a lot of steps up to the rooms so don’t book with young kids or elderly people.

Our room was just perfect, with plenty of light and facing the duomo square!! A dream room!! Rossella was the sweetest host ever, gave us some trip recommendations and made us a very nice breakfast!! Only being on the third floor with no lift!!

She was super helpful with any requests/enquiries we may have had. The location was great. Very close to the steps and the main area/shops/restaurants. Very spacious. We had two bedrooms, although the sofa bed wasn't super comfy. AC was perfect and very much needed. We were on the 4th floor so it was a bit straining to walk up 4 more flights of stairs in the heat after having already walked up the 286 steps from the beach. But good exercise I guess!
• Giancarlo (10/5): Thrilling week full of sunshine, smiles, great food, and wonderful beach hangs. - Location was perfect for exploring town and proximity to beaches. Breakfast was great, Rossella is sweet and helpful! Rooms are spacious and clean. The safe was "safe" :) and the refrigerator and AC worked well. There are steps to climb to reach room but they are quite tolerable. The nightlife may keep you up. The church bells will wake you at a decent hour and the municipal vehicles gathering restaurant waste (empty bottles) make a lot of noise at dawn (loud!) :/ No washing machine for clothing.

• Daniel (8/5): Very good - Located in the heart of Tropea's old town our stay was fantastic. With restaurants and shops just steps away and a lovely view of the church, the location was perfect. Rosella, made us breakfast each morning and was incredibly helpful. She helped us drop our bags early before check in and even arranged breakfast for our early departure when we were leaving. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tropea! While the shower could use some repairs, the room was really clean overall.
• Petra (10/5): Great stay in Tropea - Really nice B&B, great location, staff very friendly -if you need you can ask them for almost anything (they lend us the sun umbrella,also beach towel for our last day),they also stored our baggage on the last day. Would sure recommend :) Wifi was not working for me at all for the whole trip,my friend was able to connect but sometimes the connection was not that strong. It would be great to have some cutlery/plates/cups in the room as well. However i am sure that if we’ve asked for it Rosella would give it to us ;)
• Nidhya (8/5): Very good - The location and view was perfect and there was ample space for the 3 of us in the apartment. There was a wide selection at breakfast and Rosella was lovely too. Was a very relaxing stay and would highly recommend it! The floor could have been cleaner. The only reason was because my baby's hands and knees were quite dirty when she was crawling in the unit.

It was the bishop’s residence in years gone by. It is very comfortable and right in the middle of the old town. Breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful. • Ilse (10/5): Beautiful location in historical building in a nice area of the city center and close to beaches. - The beautiful historical building in the middle of the city center with a splendid city view and yet quite and well cooled room for sleeping, close to Porto and beaches. Wifi was not always working properly. With the heat wave it was difficult to keep breakfast fresh nevertheless we were offered nice prepared eggs!

• Lynn (10/5): Spacious suite in lovely Tropea. - Our suite of rooms was very spacious, and there is a great view over the plaza of the cathedral. Lots of comfortable furniture. The bed is large and comfortable. The host was very nice and helpful. Provided an electric water kettle on request. Breakfast was generous, and the hostess was kind. The town is lots of fun and many great beaches in walking distance. The shower was beautiful but the water wasn't hot enough.
• Carina (10/5): Exceptional - spacious and stylish place with great interior design. great location, helpful staff and good choices for breakfast although there are only 3/4? apparments. modern and very clean bathroom. the shower takes ages to get warm (you can easily brush your teeth in the meantime) and had little pressure. Also the beautiful cupboard was very unpractical and wifi very slow - but those are the downsides to residing in an old palazzo you have to live with I guess.

• Michael (8/5): A beautiful Palazzo and a nice welcome in the heart of Tropea - The breakfast was superb, and Thomasina (who prepared the breakfast) was lovely to interact with. The owner also was very responsive and helpful. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The location is excellent, right across from the cathedral, but the square is not noisy at night and going to sleep was no problem. Lots of great restaurants in the area. The rooms were cleaned daily. The palazzo that the suite is in is very impressive, and there are wonderful ancient pieces of furniture in the rooms. The AC worked well. For me the bed was too hard and I found it uncomfortable, but that may just be a personal preference - for others perhaps it would be just right. Everything else was great.
• Ian (9/5): Tropea is magnificent, this is a great place to stay to enjoy the winding alleys - location is second to none, the property is a stunning old building right in the historic centre. there are 4 small flights of stairs up to the rooms though which should be noted, and the bells directly opposite chime every morning at 7am. lovely but loud

All we didn't know it was going to happen - no chance to sit outside the room, plus we felt like people who are disturbing, although we were paying guests. A heads up would have been nice.

• Monsal (9/5): Superb - The apartment was incredibly spacious and the breakfast provided was nice. There were some wifi connectivity issues at times but not a huge issue. The location was good - about a 13 minute walk from the train and very close to the beach. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs for beach access. Alternatively, you can take a tuktuk. Lovely place to stay overall.
