And sent me message reception closed sorry you could not stay here . If you did not open or close reception you need to cancel or not confirmed my appointment. That night I slept at my car because of them at the unknown streets

- Ilaria (7/5): - L’ambientazione che è stata realizzata è molto bella, offrono tanti servizi e sicuramente c’è modo di socializzare e passare un bel soggiorno. La camera con bagno privato un po’ datata, il bagno piccolissimo e con una doccia da ristrutturare, sicuramente si potrebbe migliorare.

- SARAH (9/5): Great place, staff and easy to explore around by car - Very nice staff, the place is huge, nice pool and garden, parking place, huge common area with sofas, tv, foosball. Rooms as big enough, AC during the night, a few plugs around, mattress and pilows are good (but you need to bring your own bed linen or rent for 3 euros). Bathroom was big, modern and very clean. Easy to go to Galipolli (20min by car) or Otranto (45min by bar). Breakfast was a coffee and a sweet. You can find restaurants around! Having a towel on the floor to get out of the shower would be great to avoid getting everything around wet, and a curtain to protect from the light in the morning! Also, for when you have lots of guests, a locker would be great, but it was not a problem for me at all!

The staff were incredible. If don’t have a bad word to say, you will meet amazing people here!

- Marco (7/5): Posto carino, ma non molto vivace. L’ostello non organizza eventi o serate. L’atmosfera è piuttosto silenziosa. - Include la colazione La posizione decisamente scomoda se non si ha una macchina con cui spostarsi. I mezzi di trasporto sono praticamente assenti quindi si è obbligati a spostarsi con la navetta dell’ostello che costa 5€ a persona per ogni tratta, indifferentemente dal numero di persone presenti sulla navetta. Il che significa almeno 10€ al giorno se uno esce una sola volta. Inoltre ci sono orari in cui la navetta non è attiva.
- Daniele (10/5): Doveva essere un appoggio di una sera per un concerto ed è diventato un pernotto di quattro giorni - Bellissimo ostello centrale per discoteche e mare, bellissimo posto dove socializzazione con personale e proprietari accoglienti e simpatici. Bellissima e confortevole location. Per chi cercasse un posto abbastanza vicino per Gallipoli, non vi preoccupate offrono anche il servizio navetta. Letti comodi e doccia calda e confortevole. Ad una mezz'ora/quaranta minuti di macchina si può anche raggiungere la costa adriatica per una vacanza più itinerante. Ostello e personale consigliati. Ci tornerò sicuramente, straconsigliato.

Disponen de un servicio de transfer que te lleva a las playas cercanas y otros puntos Diariamente ofrecen un menú a buen precio. Es una muy buena opción cerca de Gallipoli La falta de aire acondicionado se sintió durante el día ya que solo se prende por las noches para descansar. El disponer de solo 2 baños para dos habitaciones de 6 personas cada uno fue una complicación, tanto por la espera para usarlos como por la limpieza, que no era respetada por otras huéspedes..

Ok che è un Ostello ma non vuol dire lasciare tutto sporco... 4) struttura priva di aria condizionata negli spazi comuni( essendoci andati nel periodo centrale di ferragosto dove le temperature arrivavano a toccare oltre i 40 gradi, si moriva di caldo. L aria nelle camere dalle ore 23 alle 9 del mattino, e nel momento in cui veniva spento, stavi male... 5) 1 frigo piccolo in comune per tanti ospiti 6) finestre prive di Zanzariere, quindi immaginate le zanzare a fare 🥳festa

- Michiele Robel (6/5): - Det var rent och tillmötesgående personal och det gick smidigt med kommunikationen. Hade leenden från all personal. Roligt med poolen! Roligt med pingisbordet och att allmänna utrymmen var väldigt bra!! Flera kvällar ville vi ha skjuts och vi var tvungna att skriva flera gånger de sista två dagarna. I början funkade det smidigt. Inget varmvatten fanns de första dagarna. Läget är ganska off då sista tågen går innan kl 20:00. Om tågen hade gått hela natten är det fantastiskt bra. Cappucinon bör ha varm och inte kall mjölk.

The sheets and pillow case was very clean and ironed. The shuttle bus to Galipolli was only 5 euro. Local taxi drivers were charging 20 to 50 euro one way.

Di giorno le camere sono calde perché viene spenta l'aria condizionata.Ci vorrebbe un bel impianto fotovoltaico per abbassare i costi energetici, il tetto non manca !! In ogni caso, comunque, sono stato bene! Quando era troppo caldo in camera ho fatto il bagno in piscina!
- Florence (8/5): Bon rapport qualité/prix - Auberge de jeunesse avec grand extérieur et piscine! A disposition dans le salon commun: baby foot et table de Ping Pong. Le personnel était très gentils. La gare est seulement à 2mn de l’établissement et le gérant propose une navette pour aller à Gallipoli et revenir vous chercher à tout heure pour seulement 5euro.

- Ilona (9/5): Great experience - The staff was really friendly, helpful. Bathroom is cleaned every day, that's a huge benefit. The atmosphere is cool and friendly too. Free breakfast and coffee. I recommend this place for everyone especially for backpackers or solo travelers. Everything was okay, just only thing that triggered me that you can't lock the bathroom, so you have to listen if no one is coming while you're there, but it havent ruined my stay here at all.

- MONICA (9/5): Ci tornerei nonostante le pecche, perché è davvero comodo, economico e confortevole. - La posizione ed i servizi offerti da questo ostello sono perfetti! Addirittura era compresa la colazione. Lenzuola ed asciugamani sono economici e conviene noleggiarli da loro. Purtroppo bisogna fare un po' di manutenzione alle camere. Gli scarichi del lavandino in bagno erano otturati e veniva su di tutto quando si apriva l'acqua, dal bidet non usciva acqua.

- Andrea (10/5): Esperienza indimenticabile - Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare all'Ostello Salento e ho avuto un'esperienza indimenticabile. Innanzitutto, la posizione è eccezionale - a soli cinque minuti da Gallipoli e un massimo di dieci minuti da Baia Verde. Questo ostello è la base ideale per esplorare le meraviglie del Salento. Ma quello che veramente distingue l'Ostello Salento sono i suoi proprietari. Il Sig. Quintino e la sua famiglia sono l'essenza dell'ospitalità salentina. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa dal momento in cui siamo arrivati e non si sono risparmiati nel soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Una delle caratteristiche principali di questo ostello è il bar che rimane aperto fino a tardissima notte. E' stato un piacere sorseggiare una birra o un amaro locale con gli amici, rilassandoci sotto le stelle dopo una lunga giornata di visite turistiche. L'Ostello Salento offre anche un servizio navetta per trasportare gli ospiti nelle zone più interessanti della regione, operativo fino a tarda notte. Questa è una soluzione perfetta per chi vuole divertirsi nelle numerose discoteche della zona senza preoccuparsi del ritorno. Durante il giorno, è possibile rilassarsi presso la piscina esterna dell'ostello, un luogo ideale per godersi il sole salentino. C'è anche la possibilità di affittare ombrelloni, se si preferisce un po' di ombra. Infine, l'opzione di pranzo e cena in loco rende il soggiorno all'Ostello Salento ancora più comodo. Basta indicare al Sig. Quintino cosa si desidera mangiare e si viene serviti con un pasto delizioso. Se devo essere pignolo, il solo piccolo appunto che potrei fare riguarda l'arredamento dell'ostello. Pur essendo tutto funzionale e sempre pulito, potrebbe beneficiare di un tocco di freschezza. Lo so, lo so, non è che vado in vacanza per i mobili, vero? E onestamente, tra un tuffo in piscina, una risata con gli amici al bar e le squisitezze preparate dal Sig. Quintino, questo dettaglio passa davvero in secondo piano. Diciamo che è come quel vecchio maglione che adori: sì, potrebbe essere un po' fuori moda, ma è così confortevole che non te ne importa. E quindi sì, Ostello Salento, ci rivedremo di sicuro alla prossima estate!

- Leela (2/5): À éviter - Le monsieur à l'accueil nous prévient à 19h30 que la réception ferme à 19h. Nous arrivons à 20h, l'hôtel est vide et il nous donne des draps trop petits pour notre "lit double" qui était en fait 2 lits simples poussés ensemble. Le lendemain même chose, il m'envoie à 10h36 que le checkout est à 10h30 et ils ont essayé de nous faire payer un supplément "late checkout" lorsque nous sommes partis à 11h. Pas très propre, aucun charme, rien dans la salle de bain n'est fourni (ni savon ni serviettes)
- Maria (8/5): Big hostel 8km from Gallipoli - Big hostel. Really friendly stuff. Possibility to rent a bike and ride to Gallipoli (8km) and the surrounding parks. Nice garden with chairs and tables. At the end of April the hostel was quite empty.
