En outre, les propriétaires ne sont pas disponibles ni joignables entre 21 h et 10 h. Si vous rencontrez un problème pour trouver le logement, votre message n'est pas lu. Pour le prix, on peut espérer davantage de disponibilité.
• Fiona (8/5): - Beutiful house with breath taking views Room was small, and had a off putting smell, fake flowers or prefume with poor ventilation. Showers had very hot water. Would stay there again but would choose a bigger room
• Daniela (10/5): Schöne, saubere Unterkunft im Postkarten-Panorama - Etwas abseits der Ringstraße liegt dieses schöne guesthouse. Nach self Check-in warteten leckere Waffeln auf uns! Die Kommunikation vorab war sehr freundlich, die Unterkunft ist sauber und gemütlich, es ist in der Küche und auch auf den Zimmern alles da, was man braucht. Wir hatten nur leider das Pech, dasmal wieder andere Gäste dachten, die Regeln wie quiet times gelten nicht für sie.
• Yoko (10/5): - This stay was a highlight of our trip. When you turn off route 1, you have to drive 5km over a dirt road, through an absolutely beautiful moss covered lava field. As the dirt road nears the cliffs, I recommend that you stop the car and get out to experience the absolute solitude and stark beauty of this location. You are surrounded by untrammeled lava field and cliffs and waterfalls and nothing but a few water birds. You can’t hear or see route 1, nor do you see any guest house. As you turn to the left, you see the beautiful property set against another cliff. The room was large, modern, warm and clean. The place is newly renovated. The hosts left us some home made waffles for a nice surprise. As dinner was cooking on the outdoor grill, we walked to an amazing private waterfall. The host also pointed out their own private canyon and hill with trails. We could not wait to get up early the next morning to go hiking behind the house to see some amazing views. This is an experience of a lifetime.

This place was super clean and the linens smelled nice and appeared to be freshly laundered. The cute little grass roof houses is nice and you can even go inside them.

• Alan (8/5): Clean and spacious accommodation. - Comfortable, spacious and clean accommodation but could be improved with a few minor changes. For example, the kettle provided was very small for an apartment sleeping 5 and there was only one mirror in the property. Also inadequate provision for drying towels and no instructions provided for the disposal of rubbish and recycling.

Great facilities - vacuum/dryer type thing for wet shoes, good amenities in the kitchen. Definitely recommend for a quiet stay in the country.
• Kellie (10/5): - This place exceeded my expectations for cleanliness. I am overly picky about where I stay and this stay was one of the few times I have been pleasantly pleased and satisfied. I did not realize when booking how far it was off the main road and this made me nervous as we were arriving but it ended up being a lovely surprise because of the beautiful property we got to enjoy, including the drive back to the house. The host is thoughtful in preparing for your arrival with the waffles and our family loved the bedside lamps with wireless charging and usb ports as we didn’t have to use our adapters for charging. I highly recommend this stay.
• Ji Soo (10/5): - Farm house converted into guest-house which has a waterfall / creek in their backyard - fantastic view ! Living room was spacious. Fully equipted kitchen with stovetop, oven, freezer/ refrigerator and new pots and utensils. Do the grocery and wine shopping in town and go to this guest house, as we did, because store , restaurant are far away. Owners were super kind and their fluffy waffles were much better than bakery-bought. Their TV is installed with Netflix where you can put in your ID. Three of us stayed here two nights and were very happy there.

• Ke (10/5): The best stay during the entire trip - The best stay during our 10-day trip on Iceland. The suite is clean and large for a family of 4. Big living/dining room. The host made fresh waffles for breakfast. Wifi is very fast and view is amazing from the kitchen.
• Joshua (10/5): Beautiful guesthouse with kitchen in great locatio - What a beautiful location! Located in an isolated part of the island, nestled in a valley between two mountains, the property has a beautiful waterfall and a historic turf roofed hut on site. The hosts are very gracious and the guest room has a nice living room, kitchen and bath. It’s convenient to the glacier lagoon, ice caves and diamond beach. Just shop in Vik before you arrive since there are no decent nearby grocery stores or restaurants in the winter.
• Barbara (10/5): Favorite place to stay in Iceland! - This place was our favorite of our whole stay in Iceland! The 'welcome waffles' left under the glass cake dome in our room were perfect for our breakfast before an early early departure! Such a nice touch! Beautiful inside and outside! Clean, wonderful amenities, and so inviting! We arrived early enough to walk the property and enjoyed the owner's waterfall and bridge! So special! Owners are friendly and kind.

Be aware that the property is at the end of a 10-minute drive on gravel road with not many restaurants around so *bring groceries or food* from a grocery store on the way unless you're planning to drive back out again. Many restaurants close very early (8:30pm)
• Doug (6/5): Good for Isolation - Shared Showers. Very far off the main road. No coffee or breakfast. All was self serve. A few waffles sitting out but not sure if they were left over. Check in / out very easy with code emailed in advance. Setting was beautiful but not close to any stores / conveniences.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - One word describes the stay here - “awesome”. At first I was worried about the place when I booked it but the place is clean, super quite, provides the basic amenities you’d expect (coffee), water was fresh and has kitchen utensils, though we did not use them. Fresh waffles with Nutella and jam greeted us, which we had for breakfast. Overall great place and would recommend. There is a mini waterfall/stream in a 5 min walk. Only caution - if you’re not paying attention on highway 1, the 6km dirt road that takes you here can be easily missed. Also, there are no places to eat here so make sure that you’ve either packed to cook or have already eaten.
• Tracy (10/5): Fantastic!! - Amazing. Tons of space, incredible waffles, spa-like shower. Remote with tons of areas to explore - fields, grass, waterfall, small bridge. Really, one of our fave places we stayed while in Iceland for 16 days
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The location is off the highway and is one with nature. The husband and wife owners are very nice. Breakfast is always available from 7:30 to 9:30 am. The guests can use the kitchen and supplies from 4 pm to 10 pm and are responsible for cleanup if they decide to use the kitchen. Breakfast selection has cheese, cold cuts, cereal, juice, coffee and tea and of course freshly made waffles

• jerome (10/5): Le meilleur de l'hospitalité Islandaise - Diana et Baldur sont d'une grande gentillesse et d'une disponibilité sans faille. Chambre pas très grande mais bien équipée (lavabo) et confortable. 2 sdb partagées qui permettent une bonne rotation des 6 chambres. Délicieuses gaufres maison au petit dej, par ailleurs avec bcp de choix. Une cuisine commune parfaitement équipée. Mais encore une fois j'insiste sur la qualité de l'accueil. Suite à un avis de tempête, ils nous ont proposé plusieurs options pr la suite de notre périple avec du temps pr nous décider. Et même le remboursement de la nuitée que nous avons décider d'annuler alors que rien ne les y obligeait. Chose vraiment remarquable et appréciable ! Bref un excellent choix !!!

• Dmitry (8/5): Beautiful remote location - he guesthouse is nice, it has a full-size kitchen for guests to use and a large dining room. Free breakfast was great! The location is the best part: remote and beautiful. There's even a glacial river with a small waterfall within a short walk from the guesthouse.

Having access to a communal kitchen was a huge bonus as we were able to make our own dinner. The provided breakfast was amazing (best waffles!!). On top of all this the location was stunning, tucked between the mountains and a waterfall. Perfect.

When we finally get there, we were pleased to see the cozy building and the welcoming owner of the place (who makes us waffles in the morning).
