There were many things broken: the glass door to the terrace had the handle broken. The shower screen was broken. The plastic chair in the terrace broke when we sat down. Grenny, messy, muddy. Horrible experience. The building and his fachade was old but quite nice, so please don't let the pictures on the web confuse you. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody
- Anna (7/5): Freundliches Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern - Angenehmer Aufenthalt! Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Das Hotelpersonal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war lecker und bot eine gute Auswahl. Die Stadt ist zu Fuß schnell erreichbar, allerdings gibt es in der unmittelbaren Umgebung nicht wirklich Restaurants, in die man sich gemütlich hineinsetzen kann. Da der Ort in den Bergen liegt ist das Klima dort nachts etwas kälter und dadurch ist das gesamte Hotel etwas „ausgekühlt“.

- William (9/5): Good location, clean and large rooms with a small balcony and great staff and restaurant - Location was about 10-minute easy walk to town, clean room staff were great especial Senthil, hope I spelt it right, and restaurant food was a pleasant surprise. they do have the best pizza's in Nuwara Ellya, and my other half who is a curry expert said it was the best chicken curry she had experienced in Sri Lanka No fridge in room and no room heater, but plenty of blankest slight hill with a slow rise to the actual property

Ze hadden ons aan de achterkant van het hotel geplaatst voor 3 nachten en wij keken recht (paar meter) op de nieuwbouw! Sochtend hadden we daar ook last van!
- SHENG (9/5): 性价比高 - 整个旅馆从外面看很漂亮，距离小镇中心非常近，走路10分钟以内就到了，吃饭和乘车都非常方便。工作人员很热情友善。房间很干净整洁，洗澡有热水，早餐是自助的很丰盛。 旅馆内部看着有些陈旧了。房间里没有制热设备，屋子里比较冷。当然被子很厚，睡觉的话是没问题的。

There’s no lift to the upper floors and it’s difficult for elderly people to climb up and down stairs to get into the dining area and the rooms.

Le personnel du petit-déjeuner n'est pas professionnel même irrespectueux dans le sens : retirer l'assiette sans demander si on n'a fini, et passer devant le client s'en s'excuser les codes de la politesse. 1er jour buffet au petit-déjeuner 2ème jour petit-déjeuner servi à l'assiette. .

The rooms were warm and cozy, and the staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed an excursion to Horton Plains and a visit to the tea factory arranged by them — both were amazing experiences. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel and their delicious food! 🌸

- Kenneth (8/5): If you go to Nuwara Eliya check out the old Grand Hotel, Golf Course, Post Office & Race Track! - The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious! We were able to check in early which was appreciated as the staff had contacted me over WhatsApp in advance. On a night when there was a full moon, and alcohol sales are banned across Sri Lanka, it was great we could still buy a cold Lion Lager at the hotel in the evening. They played very loud music in the reception area and in the halls of the hotel throughout the day and early evening when it would have been much better to have silence as you could hear it in the rooms.

- Chloe (9/5): - Great value for money, really friendly staff sanil (not sure of spelling) was fantastic. So friendly and organised our transport to kandy for us too. Room had so many blankets and kept us lovely and warm it also had the best shower with good pressure and hot water!

The room was large and had a good view onto the front of the hotel and the bed comfortable. The staff were very helpful and had some good suggestions on what to do/see in NE. They also fixed the light problem we had. The bed had lots of blankets and duvets which was lovely in the low temperatures, and the shower was great. Nothing much.

Quite a few rooms were under some repair and not available so it limited the choice of adjoining rooms which we had requested.

Me hice daño en una pierna y uno de los chicos me trajo hielo, pomada y se preocuparon todo el tiempo por nosotras. Nos indicaron todo lo que debíamos hacer allí, estuvimos jugando al pool por la noche... nos dieron todas las facilidades posibles. Buena ubicación. Personal increíble. Una gran estancia. Muy felices! -

- Aleksei (7/5): - Отель удобно расположен в центре за парком Виктория. В ванне стабильный напор горячей воды, завтрак по системе шведский стол, без изысков, но вполне достойный. Отель достаточно потрепаный, хотя бы небольшой косметический ремонт ему необходим. Это не проблема конкретно этого отеля, скорее общая ситуация для Нувара Элии, здесь действительно холодно ночью и в большом и старом отеле ощущается промозглость. Спать нужно под двумя одеялами.

- santiago (7/5): - Vam estar dues nits, el personal es fantàstic, en Sidney sempre disposat a ajudar-te, el berenar molt abundant i bonisim, la habitació es molt gran i el bany també. El llit es còmode. I'ubicacio també es bona. Encara que la habitació es molt gran i còmode es masa humida, necesita un aparell per poder treura l'l'humitat, si poguessin solucionar açò la estada es faria molt més agradable.

- Emilie (8/5): - Très bon emplacement, a proximité du centre ville mais suffisamment éloigné du bruit. Agréablement surprise par cet hotel qui semble froid au premier abord mais la grande chambre était très agréable et le petit déjeuner très bon! Accueil chaleureux

- Oliver (9/5): We had a very good stay at Panorama. The location is near perfect. Very short walk to the town and sights in Nuwara Eliy - The location of the hotel is as good as you will get. A very short walk into the town area and all there is to see in Nuwara Eliya. The rooms were great and the hotel has a restaurant too.
- Luis (4/5): Que nochecita! - Muy buen desayuno, el personal muy amable, bastante tranquila la habitación, un lugar muy bonito, bastante agua caliente en la regadera, si vemos todas estas cosas son muy buenas en cualquier estancia, pero el gran pero: La Cama! Definitivamente la estancia hubiera sido sensacional de no haber sido por la cama y el colchón, elementos fundamentales para tener un buen descanso y estar listo para el día siguiente. La cama hecha de tablas de madera en el soporte del colchón totalmente flojas, al igual que las patas y cabecera, cada movimiento era un rechinar que al principio nos dió risa, pero con el transcurso de la noche se volvió un martirio, pues con el menor movimiento se despertaba del poco sueño conciliado el compañero, ahora si la cama fue un martirio de rechinidos, el colchón estuvo peor, muy usado, muy aguado, con un canal en el centro que te tenias que sujetar de la orilla o detener con una pierna fuera de la cama para no rodar hacia el centro, lamentablemente puso en el piso en cuanto a calificación se refiere a este hotel, que debió de haber sido totalmente positiva de no haber sido por este gran detalle.
