The ac worked perfectly and we had everything we needed. Very comfortable. Also they offer shuttle to and from port/airport which was very convenient. The staff was the sweetest and helped us with many things thought our stay. Everything was perfect .

From the moment I arrived, Marcela at the welcome area made me feel incredibly welcome with her warm hospitality and attention to detail. The grounds are stunning—lush landscaping, elegant architecture, and tranquil surroundings that truly offer a relaxing escape. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. I especially loved the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel While the hotel is located a little outside of the downtown area, I found it to be a peaceful retreat. Ornos beach is just 5 minutes walk away. That said, the hotel is a bit removed from downtown Mykonos. It’s not within walking distance, so you’ll need transportation to get into town for nightlife, shopping, or exploring the more energetic side of the island.

When arriving to check in Vasiliki was so pleasant and welcoming she walked us to our room and provided us details to the location and our room. Vasiliki and Aris both went out of there was to provide me with additional convenience of a spare bed and it was late at night when we arrived and asked for the extra accomodation. They were so helpful and caring and were always friendly and guided us on our several day stay. The staff at the bar/restaurant were also very pleasant and nice. I honestly am just so thankful to have had such a pleasant and welcoming staff that their service was incomparable in most of my stays globally. Cactus has a great pool and at night it looks amazing. A good breakfast with your choice of lattes. Very clean and chic ! I loved hanging out outside and in the room it was spacious and comfortable. Very cool and convenient that they transport you to and from the hotel-airport at no cost especially when ubers are pricey.

- Philip (10/5): - Cactus is great. I stayed with my wife and 2 daughters (13/16) for 4 nights and picked this place because of the reviews. And they were right! It's modern, clean, the staff are wonderful plus we were offered airport pick up and drop off. Stella, George, and Nadia are just great and so too is Christian. The buffet brekkie has a decent variety and the location is good. It is a 2 mins walk to Ornos beach (great for a dip/lunch and to pick up fake bags/hat sunnies!) the pool at Cactus is relaxing and peaceful so we hung there most mornings as Ornos gets crowded from 10am! It is an easy and short bus ride into Fabrika town (bus stop 50mtrs from hotel) where all the boutique shops and lovely streets are. So bring the camera! Honestly, there is a lot to choose from in Mykonos and I rarely write reviews but if you are considering this place it is good and won't disappoint.

- Godfreda (10/5): - First impression looks like the place is secluded, then you are pleasantly surprised to discover that the beach is 5 mins walking distance with many restaurants & a local grocery store. In addition the property has an infinity pool which we enjoyed. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean & the staff is excellent, pleasant & very helpful. We were also provided with complimentary transportation from the port to the property & to the airport at the time of departure. We highly recommend this property & will definitely stay there again when we visit with our children. Soji & Godfreda

Would highly recommend to anyone and if we come back to Mykonos we will be staying here again, there is basic essentials near the hotel such as beach front restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop within two minute walking distance which will take you to Fabrika which is the main town.

The room was ultra modern and spacious. The sunny courtyard was secluded and an extra luxury. The pool area is beautiful. Large borders hosted herbs succulent cacti and fabulous deep purple pelargoniums. A harmonious mixture of beauty. We could not fault the breakfast. There was a full array of dishes, fruits yogourts etc. A constant refill of coffees and again attentive and helpful staff. This is an hotel for anyone wanting that little touch of luxury near beautiful beaches and a superb location

Room was clean and modern but had no window and was on an annoyingly busy and narrow road. Ornos had a nice beach but the town area lacked. If your thinking about staying here I would skip Mykonos all together if I was you.

Location - near Ornos beach which is walking distance. But Mykonos roads are not ideal for walking as most have no pavement. Suggest to get own transport to get around. The hotel picked us up from airport for free and would have also dropped us if we needed. Breakfast had a good selection of items and service was v good

- Harvey&Beth (10/5): - Me and my girlfriend stayed at Mykonos Cactus for a late birthday present for the both of us. This was our first trip to Mykonos and we absolutely loved it! I don't think either one of us can fault the experience one bit. We were provided with airport transfers to and from the hotel. As well as the smooth and classy transfer we received to the hotel, we were then greeted at reception by Marsela, who was smiley and looked happy to see us. Marsela provided us with some useful info on the surrounding town, the whole island and the places she recommended us to visit for dinner and sightseeing. The suggestions were very helpful and were exactly the type of places we wanted to visit. Both Marsela and the rest of the hotel staff we were very helpful throughout our stay and provided a 5star service from start to finish. Our room was amazing. Clean, modern and the right size for the two of us and had everything we needed for the week. Me and my girlfriend can honestly say this is one of the best holidays we have ever had and a big part of that was staying at Mykonos Cactus. We hope to return to Mykonons, same time next year and plan to stay here at Cactus again. We want to again give our thanks to Marsela and the team for looking after us and hope to see them again soon!

It’s within walking distance of a great beach, ornos, and the bus transfers were very conveniently placed outside the hotel. The staff were also very helpful. Being critical, the bathroom was small and did smell slightly, I’m not sure if this is the apartments fault or the island’s plumbing, it wasn’t an issue but something that could have been better. All in all, a good stay.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic, new hotel. The amenities are modern, design minimalist and classy. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. I’d like to specifically say thank you to Nadia, one of the managers, for making our stay wonderful. She helped organize taxi for us (there are only 32 on the island and availability is limited during high season) and also a car to take us to the airport for a very early flight. Below are some specific pros that I’d like to call out: -complimentary shuttle service to and from airport (8 am to 8 pm only) -complimentary delicious breakfast (a true assortment of options!) -Swift customer service -walking distance to grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants (8 minute) -walking distance to Ornos beach (5 minute) -walking distance to bus stop (3 minutes) For those of you who’d like to venture out of Ornos, we recommend you rent a car. We came to the island thinking taking the bus would be sufficient but it was not. We like to be able to go and come as we please and timing our day to align with the bus schedule (which was not always accurate) was a pain. In town, there are plenty of rental shops. We got a smart car for $60 USD for 24 hours. It allowed us to explore a bit especially when the weather was not great for beach day. Also, the hotel has a large courtyard where there is ample space to park your vehicle. Just beware that Greece now requires an international license to rent anything. This can easily be done online and only takes about 10 Minutes to compl
- Lola (10/5): Perfect - Had the most amazing 6 days in Cactus Mykonos. My third time visiting the island & Ornos beach & I couldn’t recommend this accommodation enough. The service was fantastic & the shuttle provided to & from the airport was greatly appreciated. The room is very tastefully decorated & everything was brand new & clean. The fecilities were great, everything from the hairdryer, to Neflix on the TV, WiFi & the lighting functions in the room. The location for Ornos is perfect along with the bus stop just opposite for trips into the town. Fantastic value for money & my boyfriend & I will definately be returning!

We could walk to the beach in 5 minutes. When I make it back to Mykonos, this is the only place I will stay.

- Liz (8/5): - Cactus Mykonos is a lovely hotel. I stumbled upon it on Expedia (we had originally booked camping at paradise beach but I heard horror stories about it, so we splurged slightly to stay at Cactus instead). It’s a brand new hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and it’s very well located in Ornos... just a 5 Minute walk to Ornos beach. Down the road there are a bunch of affordable cafes and restaurnts that are lovely (the one in the middle of the rotunda was our favorite for pastries, coffee, sandwiches, crepes and delish Greek sweets..very affordable too and all the locals seemed to hang there) The staff was also very accommodating and helpful. We arrived on a flight around 6am and they let us check-in very early without extra charge. They answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of great tips to explore Mykonos. They also gave us a complementary ride to ferry port when we left. Highly recommend the hotel. My only suggestion is improving the in-room cleaning. We stayed 2 nights and the cleaning person didn’t come until 4pm in the afternoon (when we were coming back for the day and wanted to change and rest before going back out). She also didn’t really clean the room. The bed was poorly made and towels were not changed or folded. I think the property could improve service by giving guests fresh bath towels each day (especially since there are only 2 small hooks to hang them in a relatively small bathroom...it’s hard for them to dry) Otherwise, everything was great!
