• Ellen (1/5): Nicht zu empfehlen - Nichts Schon die Treppen zum Eingang bröckelten teilweise ab, am Geländer hätte man sich an den Roststellen verletzen können. Der Raum roch sehr unangenehm und alles war nicht sauber. Die Toilettenbrille war gebrochen, die Toilette war schmutzig. Wir sahen uns gezwungen, auf eine andere Unterkunft auszuweichen, weil wir nach kurzer Zeit Kopfschmerzen vom Geruch hatten und es im angebotenen Zimmer nebenan auch nicht besser war.

Missing fire alarm, cracked toilet seat, open light sconce socket in the bathroom, torn bed linens, previous guests garbage not removed from bin.

• Xavier (9/5): Très bien - La deco est assez démente, une immense porte de coffre fort en fonte vient compléter le tout. Ce devait sans doute être une banque avant qu’elle ne soir reformée en logement ? Étonnant lieu. On j’y dort bien, abrité des vents qui balaient puissamment la côte.

• Francesca (8/5): Big apartment with everything you need - The apartment is nice and big. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need (pots, cutlery and so on but also coffee, salt, pepper, oil...). As a person who loves cemeteries, the view made my day! Perfect location, the little town is very pretty and close to the sea. The bathroom was not very clean (hair in the sink). Not a fan of the moquette, but that's a personal preference.
• Sigríður Ingibjörg (7/5): Hlýtt og notarlegt, mæli með. - Þægilegt og gott rúm, allt hreint og vel þrifið. Hljóðlátt, hvíldist vel. Gott rými og þægindi, hefði getað hugsað mér að geta gist lengur Brotin klósettseta, betri lýsing á baði, sprungin pera í ljósi á baði. Erfitt að sturta sig vegna þess að baðkerið er hátt og djúpt. Vantar handfang við klósett, erfitt að standa upp, (ég er að jafna mig eftir slys á hné).

• Jay (10/5): Clean, comfortable, larger than most with TV - Easy to find. Free parking. Easy check in. Larger room and bathroom than most. TV included. Just for your information, one light is out in the bathroom, and tub has a leak onto the floor. Don’t bother us, everything else was very good.

• Stephen (2/5): Worst place I've found, JUST DON'T. - Bedding SEEMED clean. Room stank of air freshener(?), then found WHY, drains kitchen & bathroom STANK, made us retch. Whole place was grimy, shabby, worn, broken switches, dodgy light wiring in bathroom, shower was awful, couldn't adjust shower head, old shampoo wrapper left in, radiator removed, rusty stubs where it was. Room was unbearably hot (24-25C) despite all rads being 'off', had to TRY sleeping on top of bedding. Windows that were closed could not be opened, windows that were open would not close. WORST STAY ANYWHERE in the world, so far, ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY THREE pounds......... I'm writing this in our next stop, super room, fantastic view, spotless, £163. NO COMPARISON. Whole area was run down, wrong side of the river, main view was a GRAVEYARD.

• Jörgen (10/5): A HUGE apartment, if you take the big one. Missing nothing. - I booked what seemed to be the biggest room - a FULL apartment on the bottom floor! (Nr. 1) =D This apartment was bigger than my own one apartment back home. I had a TV (with limited channels/viewing options), a MASSIVE double bed, a beautiful mid-sized bathroom, a kitchen on one side of the HUGE living room! There was a good-sized fridge, and all the plates, forks, glasses, cups, etc. you might need in a kitchen. There was also a full-sized wardrobe to keep your clothes up on hangers or on shelves. Having a logical place to hang your clothes just inside the apartment door would have been nice. But no big problem to hang them inside the wardrobe in the bedroom. My neighbours were REALLY quiet, seeing as this is next to a graveyard! =D No problem whatsoever for me, but someone might find it odd.

We specially appreciated warning obout upcoming powercut during the night by the staff. Apartment No1 was fantastic for us and would certainly recommend. Staff was very kind and helpful. • Claudia (4/5): Funktional - Renovierungsbedürftig - Check in Ablauf Dusche mangelhaft, Sauberkeit mangelhaft. Lichtschalter defekt. Insgesamt lieblos gepflegt.

• Francesca (6/5): Accettabile - La stanza era molto grande, così come il bagno. Di fronte all'edificio, situato in una via tranquilla, ci sono dei parcheggi per le macchine. La stanza è vecchia, arredata con mobili datati e non particolarmente belli. La pulizia è migliorabile, soprattutto quella del pavimento. La vista è su un piccolo cimitero, che di per sè non sarebbe nulla di male, se non fosse che l'atmofera è già un po' cupa di suo. L'edificio non ha l'ascensore, un po' scomodo per chi ha valigie ingombranti. Anche il bagno, pur molto grande, è un po' vecchio, e facendo la doccia nella vasca tende strutturalmente ad allagarsi. L'acqua odora di zolfo.

• nblagus89 (8/5): - Sve nas je dočekalo čisto, lagana prijava i odjava, prostrani stan, udobnost. Topla voda ima jak miris na sumpor i nigdje nije naznačeno da li je kao takva normalna i zdravstveno ispravna. Zbog tog razloga nismo bili sigurni da li bi se tuširali takvom vodom ili ne, pa na kraju se nismo usudili što je veliki minus s obzirom na cijenu najma. Također u opisu nije navedeno da se objekt nalazi u neposrednoj blizini groblja tako da pogled na vrt ustvari znači i pogled na groblje.
• Wilson Xu (10/5): - 房间非常大，整洁，很舒适，自助入住很方便，停车位就在门口标志清晰，设施很齐全，窗外是个墓地，不过老外觉得墓地旁边房子风水好，我不介意 半夜12点，对门的住客一个老头大声连续猛敲门把我吵醒，然后说是找错房间，吓到我了，也不道歉，很没礼貌
• Solvalda (8/5): Good for what we needed. - The location is great, the beds were comfy, the views are wonderful and we had a good stay. We didn't use the kitchen because we only needed a place to sleep for one night. Host was responsive and helpful. We stayed at the second floor with a balcony view towards the sea. Gorgeous view. This is a gorgeous old house with a rich history in the area, but it's been made into multiple apartments for guests so everything is awkwardly placed and not fully thought out for best user experience. The curtains let in a whole lot of sunlight so it never got really dark in there which affected our sleep. Our TV wasn't working but a staff member came over to try to help fix it, but they couldn't either. It's no dealbreaker though and we loved that they tried. I think there's an opportunity to make this beautiful house shine a little better with a little design thinking, so hopefully the owners have a plan for upgrades.

• Joyce (9/5): Spacious Apartment - A well-maintained, large apartment on the edge of Blonduos. Kind of like a studio apartment with an extra bedroom added on. We had a nice view of the village and surrounding farmlands. Everything was clean and the furnishings modern. Quiet building. We especially liked the bay window alcove where the table and chairs were located. While the self check-in was easy, there was no communication with the owner during our stay. Hair dryer did not work, but there was no one to tell this to.

• Douglas (5/5): Disappointed with not having the apartment we had booked. I understand plumbing issues were the cause of the change howe - Original apartment was what was booked. However on arrival we were moved to another location and apartment due to a plumbing issue. The new location and apartment was of a much lower standard and no offer of compensation was made. NOT what we booked.
• Jessica (9/5): Would definitely stay again - The room was a really good size, the bathroom was really big and everything was clean. The room had a microwave and fridge. There were a few places to eat near by. Unfortunately we had a family of 4 with two small kids next door. They were very load and the walls quite thin. This does not effect our rating.
• Matthew (3/5): Poor - Location excellent but apartment was in a shabby building which had seen much better times. Towels were fraying, cupboards unchecked and balcony full of rusting knives and cigarette butts. Really disappointing as it was expensive. Owners apologetic but refused any refund.

My daughter couldn't rinse her mouth without gagging! outdated furniture and the beds were too small. washroom taps and lights did not work properly.For the price they're charging the service and the whole look was very poor. with that kind of price you can get a five star hotel in America, with excellent room service.Very disappointing, never going there again, was definitely a waste of money.
• Fauzia (4/5): It's not a hotel and it's a very old home which needs to be updated. - location was nice, very quiet and close to the water. the room and the washroom was really outdated. The heating was really high and i could not reduce it. I would not recommend this place.

• Vélez-arocho (9/5): It is a great alternative - Large room with table and kitchenette. Very close to restaurants and grocery stores. The exterior of the building needs tender loving care.

• Stephanie (6/5): - The guest house and the apartments are in two different locations. I had not received an email with an entrance code so we drove to the guest houses to try and speak with someone as there is no front desk. The staff there could not find our reservation at first nor could they give us exact directions on how to get to the apartment. The woman we spoke with couldn’t remember the access code at first either. Once we figure out where we were going, we were glad we had booked the apartment as it had a private bathroom. It was a super cute four leg tub. However, when the first person went into shower they stepped out to a lake on the floor in the bathroom as it had been leaking from a pipe under the tub. There were no extra towels, so cleaning and drying the mess was difficult. No one else showered so that we didn’t make the problem worse. There was plenty of space in the apartment which we liked. But very few choices for food as we got into town towards the end of dinner time.
• Barbara (8/5): - We stayed in a large one bedroom apartment that had a second bed in the living room. It was very clean and very quiet. This apartment is a great choice for families - don't let the bold design choices from different decades put you off - my family loved this place.

• Luca (4/5): Disappointing - Location is convenient. There aren't many options in the region but I regret not spending a bit more to have a comfortable stay. The hot water smell in this property was beyond anything we've experienced across 9 other properties in Iceland. We avoided showering whatsoever as even opening the sink tap would fill the whole apartment with a strong smell. The bathroom is quite uncomfortable as the windows allow for some cold air to enter and the bathtub is a standalone unit with a loose shower head.

I received an email after the call. The building looked old and not cared for. The apartment we stayed seemed clean. The steps to and in the building were many.

• Lindsay (7/5): Quiet apartment, nice views - Nice porch to watch sunset on, easy check in. The area near the apartment is lovely. View of the cemetery unsettled my friends, we travelled in June so it was bright all day, but I imagine during the winter months it can get a bit creepy. The lock on the bathroom door was a bit finicky, my friend panicked because she couldn’t get out.
• Hanna (8/5): - This was a fine stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Slightly outdated. We did have some troubles with check in because we didn’t get a code from the host, but other than that the process was smooth. Not much to do in the area surrounding.
• Swee Sing Vincent (6/5): - I got a shocked when we arrived on location. The apartment looks very old..i cant turned on the staircase light. It's next to a cemetery, which i dont really like. Fortunately the room is relatively clean. There is a supermarket nearby.
